I grew up in Talent and always thought of the Talent Club as a trashy bar, so I was a little hesitant when my friend wanted to have a drink there on a recent trip back home eleven years later. I was, however, pleasantly surprised at its beer selection and overall look. Granted they only serve beer and boxed wine, and there were maybe five other patrons in the bar besides us, but I felt comfortable. It's very obviously a local/regulars hangout and there is pool, a jukebox, and video poker. I don't remember if they have a parking lot, but we parked across the street in the Ray's lot. We only stayed for one beer, but I'd probably come back for one more when I come back again in eleven years.
