I absolutely love this place! The owners are lovely people, and the food is delicious and authentic. We had yakimandu, teriyaki chicken and medium spice, and the beef Bulgogi at medium. Great ratio of vegetables to meat, and the service is always wonderful. Will always come back to say hello and experience great food when visiting relatives. Definitely stop by!

On our road trip we were lucky enough to find this place. The Korean and Japanese food is delicious! Authentic, well made, generous potions and fairly priced. We had the beef broccoli, veggie yakisoba, a California roll, and some egg rolls with homemade blueberry sauce. All of it was amazing! While the decor is lacking the food makes up for it. I'm so glad we stopped here and if we're coming through town again we will be back for sure!

I had a plate chicken teriyaki with vegetables served on top of rice, and then ordered kimchi on the side. Both were incredibly delicious and I got a huge portion of each. Kimchi was 3.50$ for a side, and the very friendly (Korean I believe) lady told me you can also buy it in bulk for somewhere around 12.99$. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger and enjoyed it too, which is awesome because I usually have to force him to Japanese/Korean restaurants. I can't wait to go back!

The restaurant is filthy everwhere you look from the bathroom tile to the restaurant walls, carpet, and top of soy sauce bottles. One of my sushi pieces still had plastic wrapped on it.

Have been here several times as I work in a clinic not far from here and the Spicy beef bulgogi is one of the best I've ever had. Their kimchee is made fresh in house and from scratch. Their yakisoba is also amazing. The vegetables they use are local and you can tell that it was not previously frozen.

While this place may have been really good for where it was--it wasn't that great. The lady who seated us was really spacey. She kept thinking I was Korean and speaking Korean to me. And telling me about her lawyer son who lived in SF. Between all the talking and waiting, dinner took almost 2 hrs long. Food also was more Chinese-American style. We had the beef bulgogi, yakisoba, and spicy tofu. The spicy tofu was the best and the yakisoba was too salty too sweet and too sour. Almost tasting like pad Thai. I think if I ever pass by here again, I'd probably just skip on the Asian food.

Friendly service and delicious Korean Food! Bulgogi is flavorful and comes in a big portion. The homemade Kimchi was delicious too. I'm surprised to find a great place in such a small town. I don't think this town appreciates diversified food as much, as it was quite empty, besides another couple there. This place is although a gem!

What an amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Some of the best home cooked Korean food I have ever had, excellent Kim Chi IMO. Super nice cute couple runs the place and if you can get past the not so nice look outside and the cheesy decor inside you will have an awesome meal! If you are on a road trip this one is really a life saver too, plenty of vegetables if you need a break from burgers.

I'm never disappointed. This place is GREAT. Friendly owner who will walk you through the menu if you're not sure what you want. I'm not sure what I'll do when she sells this place. Allot of effort goes into the food and it shows.

This rating is for the food and the service, not the decor. She makes her own Kimchee!!! And its amazing. They are located off the interstate 5 in the little town of Sutherlin. The Korean food is a small portion of the menu, BUT ITS THE REAL THING. The lady is from Dageu and very hospitable. We ate Beef Bulgogi and a tofu stew called, Kimchi JiiGea (spelling?). Both were great and served with a ton of steamed rice. We also had 5 kids with us who ate regular kid fare of burgers, chicken strips etc. But they kept asking for our food because it tasted so good. The soup was spicy, and the kids still liked it. But if you want to intro your kids to Korean food, they will eat the Beef Bulgogi for sure. We are going back again, especially when it rains for hot bowls of soup....I guess that means we will go there a lot... Oh well.

Huge portions. Fresh food. The owner is so sweet and accommodating. I'm not the biggest fan of Korean food but everything we got was delicious and fresh!

Terrible service, we finally had to get up and go back to the kitchen to get our check. Food was very bland and tasteless.

We checked this restaurant out as we also stayed for the first time at The Guest House motel nearby in Southerlin. We were the only customers at 5:30. The building looked iffy as Yelp reviewers had said, but we went in. The decor was very dated, with straw hats with flowers hanging here and there. You know what I mean. I asked the owner nice lady for something with vegetables and she suggested chicken terrikayaki with rice. It was way more than I could eat and had fresh vegetables sauted Not bad. Husband had beef bulbogi which was good too. It looks like this is a temporary establishment as there is a for sale sign outside. They might succeed if they find another Town. Southerlin reminds me of company mountain towns of West Virginia. Tough to do well in a little town like this. It looks like it is on life support. "My Name is Earl" could have been made in Southerlin. Sorry, Southerlin, but where is your heart? Good luck to the couple trying to make a living and providing pretty good food. ( I would highly recommend that the religious radio station in the kitchen that drifted into the dining area be turned off!)

Kimchi is very good, but napa cabbage only. Missing the BBQ chicken thighs I love, every thing else is tasty. Specify hot, remember, this is Oregon. Great people! Will come back!

The couple that runs this place are very warm and friendly they remember your name after only a few visits. They make a great bulgogi and California roll. I know they are trying to sell the restaurant I hope the new owners live up to the currents standards.

Amazing food, great service, good prices. We had beef Bulgari and chicken teriyaki. I can't wait to come back!

phenomenal food, modest vibe, please stop and eat if you like good Korean-Japanese cuisine and want easy sides for kids

Got the beef yakisoba medium spice level. It was amazing! I could eat it everyday and never get tired. No slimy noodles or overly dry like most places. Also the vegetables were perfectly cooked.

Get the spicy chicken teriyaki. Delicious spicy grub for a fair price. Once you go, the owner will not forget your face (or order :))

Very good food. I love small family restaurants! Very nice lady that owns the restaurant hands your order off to the husband and the result is fantastic.

Fortunately, we chose this restaurant for dinner based on the two existing Yelp reviews. The food was tasty and well cooked. The vegetables were crunchy, yet fully cooked. I had a vegetarian egg roll, which was nice and crispy, kim chee and a spicy tofu dish. The tofu was with vegetables in a spicy sauce, with white rice on the side. I had asked for mild and was glad I didn't go for medium.
