Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

What a joke, you would be better off microwaving week old socks, than eat here. No flavor, in the food, and we could here them opening and closing the microwave to prepare our food. I thought asian food was all about fresh. Then when we got our plates there was this weird half nuked burnt meat in bo t h of our dishes, it looked like a mix between fish skin and chicken skin, we didnt eat it and put it off to the side, when we asked the nice lady what the hell is that? She said chicken, thats white meat. I dont think so, not fresh chicken anyway. Epic fail, save your money.

Service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. I thought that the food is quite good for the price. It was quite inexpensive - we had a 2-person family meal for $20, and we even had leftovers. For "Americanized Chinese" I would totally come back.

Welcome to the Great Wall (of Springfield) Quiz. Ready to get started? Let's go. One of the three statements below is true; can you determine which it is? A.) Some say that this fine establishment is the only man made building visible from outer space. B.) Great Wall features Umatilla Chemical Depot Brand Hot Mustard provided by the friendly folks at UCD Mess Hall. Also available is a "Zesty Pink" nuclear sweet and sour as part of the Hanford Site commissary kitchen program. Check out the federal site for more details at: hanford.gov C.) One young male once went to the Great Wall and decided that, like most other Chinese restaurants in the area, the food was mediocre at best. He also decided that since the lunch special was only $4.25 and came with egg flower soup and tea, he'd likely visit again. (If you guessed C you are incorrect, correct answer is B)

It's been years since I've been here, but I still remember the great wall chicken wings.... a cult favorite among indonesian UofO students. Well, that's the ONLY thing I remember about this place. It's THAT good. Especially the sauce, and the crispiness.... Ohhh.... I'm having a flashback to my college days.... Oh yeah, the owner lady was nice too.

The food was edible, but not really enjoyable. They lose points for only having egg flower soup, and it wasn't very good at that. The service was quick and friendly, but that doesn't make the food taste good. I doubt I'll be back.

Their food is Americanized Chinese, but it's a cut above the usual Chinese fare in this area. Their Kung Pao chicken, although not as spicy as I'd like, has a bit of chili heat to it, and even a hint of Sichuan peppercorn, and it's not loaded down with stuff like zucchini and canned baby corn. They're usually not very busy and sometimes their rice is mushy, like it's been sitting in the rice cooker too long, but all-in-all this place is pretty good for the Eugene area.
