Two stars because the ice cream is good. The service is beyond poor. Employees spend more time talking and goofing off than working. The cross room line of sugar ants was the largest turn off. It really was not the cleanest DQ. I have tried the drive though and it's even slower than going in. The giant tip jar was unappealing, really??? It's a drive through, not a high school car wash.

I give 0 stars. In fact this location should be shut down. Let's start with the service ( I don't want to scare you with the food first) can anyone tell these kids that a work place is not a school yard and the CUSTOMER needs to be treated with respect. Not attitude. Plus a little hand washing wouldn't hurt. Now let's talk about the food. My wife and I had tried this Dairy Queen on two other occasions both times ended in disappointment. We like chicken strips with gravy. (How can you mess that up) well this location does. Way over cooked strips and ice cold gravy. Last night was the last straw..... The grand kids were over and wanted some ice cream. We thought the local Dairy Queen for ice cream. I mean that's what there famous for right. I'm sorry but when you screw up ice cream, that's it. What a mess trying to get a three year old and a four year old clean after eating ice cream soup with chocolate. You may think I'm just venting, but I am a long haul trucker and have hit most of the Dairy Queen restaurants across the country. So I know what I'm talking about. Avoid this establishment at all costs. If they were paying you to eat there I wouldn't go. The place just needs to be shut down for everyone's safety.

I got a $5 "box" for the first time ever... For one its tiny next time I'll go to kfc. But besides that it took forever, it was cold and it looks like someone already took a bite of my chicken. Thanks guys. I won't be getting any food here again, just ice cream!

Wow. A lot of bad reviews on this place. Having lived within a few blocks all my life I can't say I've had a notably bad experience, but sometimes a wait during nicer weather. The treats are the best around, and they keep me coming back.

Horrible food. Terrible. The workers Dont look responsible enough to be in charge of a restaurant but, they make a mean blizzard. It's more expensive than the one on coburg road for blizzards and such, but they dominate the toppings and are usually pretty good about mixing all the way to the bottom. Bottom line, food is sick nasty, ice cream (namely blizzards) freakin rocks.

I cringe at the site of going here, why is it soooooooo ooo o slow? Needs some energetic high schoolers, not pot heads who live in their mothers basement.

Went to this location for an afternoon sundae. There was one car at the drive thru and no other customers waiting for service. I smiled and said hi when the gal came up and clearly she did not want to be bothered. She would not smile! Said what do you want and I told her clearly a small hot fudge sundae. She said what? So I told her again. She clearly was snearing. She took money and got my sundae. While I stood there the friend I was with, said to her girl get happy and smile while smiling at her. She made a quick fake smile and said what do you want. My friend ordered a Blizzard, small. Then said how small is it? The clerk said about an inch deep, so my friend said show me the size. She made a face and went and got a cup. My friend then ordered and paid. The clerk walked away while we just stood there. After a few minutes another clerk who had been doing the drive thru came over and said what did you order .. so my friend re-ordered and told this gal about how rude the other gal had been, she just shrugged her shoulders. Where is the manager of this Dairy Queen? They need to get some happy people in there to wait on their customers. Won't be going back there real soon! A rude rude rude and no customer service at all. Zinfandel wanted to leave a tip in the tip jar to get happy and stop being rude. Oh and the Blizzard cup was only 2/3 full.....what a tip off. The one star us because the hot fudge was hot.

I love Blizzards and DQ in general. However, this location usually has a lengthy drive thru line and a long wait in the evening. If you're looking for ice cream and think to yourself, "I should wait awhile before I actually eat it," then this is the place!

I'm going to go ahead and say here that I LOVE Dairy Queen. Maybe I don't actually love this particular one, but it's likely that I went there. Because we went to a lot of DQ in Oregon. And I loved it. California doesn't have enough of them. Where else can you get a swirly cone dipped in chocolate or......red......flavor. I love DQ

I'd agree- I love Dairy Queen, even though this location does not rank anywhere close to the top. I did end up there on occasion, I didn't live all that far while growing up. Hands down my favorite item from this location is the chicken strip basket. You gotta love the ice cream cakes! I've gotten a few from them. Biggest draw back at this location- they hire to many flighty teenagers. Still love you though DQ!

Unprofessional. I took my children here for dinner. They got a kids meal that comes with an ice cream. They didn't tell us to save the bag in order to get their ice cream. It was a near empty restaurant while we were there and we cleaned off our table and went to get their ice creams and order some blizzards when the very young "manager" would not give my children their ice creams. She said we needed the bag or we couldn't have it. We told her we'd just thrown it away and we didn't want to go digging in their trash can and she said SHE didn't want to either! So she refused to give it to them! Needless to say they were upset and we left without patronizing this restaurant further. Will not ever go back to this restaurant again. The one in Pleasant Hill is so much friendlier! If I'm in Springfield and want fast food, the new Sonic is heads and tails better than this one.
