I had a bay shrimp salad that was good - had heirloom(?) tomatoes in it & was medium plate size. Also had the fries which were good- could only eat half of the huge portion. My friend had the green curry shrimp & veggie bowl with basmati rice which she says just might be five stars. Nice sitting outdoors.

Finally made it to The Porch, and it's as good as everyone says. Three of us for dinner shared a wedge salad, green curry, sweet potato tacos and the cauliflower fritters. The curry was to die for, and the tacos were outstanding--the chef coaxes an amazing lot of flavor out of a sweet potato. The wedge salad was good, and I would have eaten the beer-cheese sauce that came with the fritters as a bowl of soup, though next time I wouldn't get the fritters. Wish we'd had room for the fries, but we'll definitely go back and will try them then. We finished off with the brownie sundae, which was perfect. Excellent service, good beer & wine list, and some really interesting cocktails. It would be hard to go wrong eating at The Porch. Oh, and call ahead to make reservations.

I have been to the porch several times since it opened, and I have yet to be disappointed. In fact, when I have visitors in Bend, I love to treat them to a meal at the porch. It is fantastic food and service.

We had dinner at The Porch and found the location to be quaint and charming. The menu was small but the food was excellent and gourmet quality. Service was very friendly and the food came out fast as well. We would support this restaurant and come back again someday.

The chicken and waffles are worth a trip by themselves but we've tried a few other dishes and they weren't great. Service is just ok. The last couple times we were in, we stood in the entryway and waited for at least 5 minutes before someone finally came to seat us. The atmosphere is nice and "homey" but we probably won't be going back again any time soon.

We loved our dinner here-amazing chicken wing empanadas, sweet potato tacos, pear salad, chocolate chili creme brûlée, and cranberry cheesecake. Yum! Great portions for small plate sharing, friendly owners, and excellent server all made for a fun, delicious dining experience. We will be back!

Newly opened in July 2012, The Porch is a superb eatery that has instantly risen to the top shelf for dining in Sisters Country. The "share" style menu of unique and delicious salads, tapas and entrees - with paired wine/beer suggestions - is frequently changed to keep the patronage eager to frequent the restaurant. Open for dinner Tuesday thru Saturday, this place is worth the drive to see what amazing flavor combinations await your palate. Sisters finally has moderately priced dining that makes eating local a delicious experience!

I love this place! I know some people have hit or miss experiences, I have heard bad service stories from friends, but my experiences have all been good. So this place does Tapas and usually has 2 entrees options. The menu constantly changes with a few items remaining the same usually the truffle fries (which I HIGHLY recommend) and the Fried chicken and waffles. I love that it changes because I always get to try new things. So far every single thing I have order has been amazing. The food is great. I love whatever fritters they might have at the time. I've been here enough I'm not going to list everything I have had, but like I said it's all been great. I personally wouldn't recommend this as a "family" restaurant I wouldn't bring your kids if they are usually all over the place and loud. well behaved kid go for it. We did take our kids once and they were great and... we will never risk that again. This has become our favorite date night spot. It is very small so I wouldn't go with a large party unless you reserve ahead of time.

Yum, Yum! YUM! Charming decor. Our group of six enjoyed a fabulous patio table dinner that included grilled artichoke, sweet potato spears, a delectable shrimp/rice bowl, roasted beet salad, Caesar salad and blackberry crème brulee. Our server was informative, excellent, and accommodating w/picture-taking. Appropriate serving sizes and reasonable prices make this a "DON'T MISS IT" stop if you are anywhere in the area.

In Sisters we dined at The Porch restaurant serving artisan comfort food. I'd give them 5 Stars for the Mediterrean dish of stewed lamb, onions and carrots with melted cheese on top, the ribs with slaw and parmesan truffle fries. Very delicious! Right on good service! Cool ambiance in an old home with a patio to enjoy a warm breezing Sisters simmering summer eve. Good beer, wine and specialty drinks.

Exactly what I was craving - a casual meal with exceptional food. My two daughters joined me and we shared truffle fries and corn fritters - both yummy. I had a great spinach salad and one daughter had the hanger steak which was the best of the table - flavorful and melt in mouth. We also shared the croque monsieur and the chicken and waffle. I was trying to be good but couldn't resist taking a slice of the blueberry goat cheese pie home. OMG.... Would go back for the pie alone! Service was attentive even though it was getting crowded on a hot summer night. Go now!

A small menu had me concerned at first what a great surprise. This place is a must in Sisters. I had shrimp salad...could not believe amount of ship that was very tasty. Greens were local and very fresh. Chicken wing expand was outstanding. But whatever you be sure to order the truffle french fries. Best fries you will ever eat. Good service and nice converted house. This is a great place.

The Porch is off of the highway, which is where most of the restaurants are. The highway can be quite noisy, so we were looking for a place like this. The Porch is in an old house, and it is not fancy, but very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, especially our waitress, Tracy. The food was very tasty and very well-presented. There is also a small garden next to the outdoor seating, which is perfect for entertaining small children. We will certainly return to the Porch the next time we travel through Sisters.

When I was staying in Sisters for the summer, I was beyond thrilled to hear a tapas-style restaurant was opening! The restaurant is small, cozy and very comfortable. For my first trip to The Porch, the stars items of the night were the duck confit, and if I recall it was paired delicious salsa. My boyfriend's favorite was their version of a "philly cheesesteak". Unfortunately the Philly Cheesesteak is no longer available. We also had the bison casserole which we both agreed was good, but a little underwhelming. :( On our second trip, we were finally able to try their blue cheese dates (first time around they were sold out) wrapped in bacon which I loved (and had before back home in NY). My boyfriend strongly disagreed. We also had their corn fritters and their version of "chicken and waffles" which had a delightful chive whole grain waffle and spicy sauce with it. Both of us found this dish to be delicious! For dessert I had blood orange creme brulee which I loved to end our dinner, and the boyfriend had a goat cheese pie (which he scored the last piece of!). Both times we went The Porch had truffle parmesan fries (shoestring style - YUM!) which might not be original (esp. here in NYC) but is my FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD of all time!!

What a wonderful add on to the small town of Sisters where Mexican food dominates the food choices. We had the corn fritters that were amazing, and a turkey chicken meatloaf that would rival some of the bests! The owner-chef is part of the staff which makes it fun....

Good quality. A little on the pricey side, though the drinks are unique. I would rate this above Jen's Garden - which is the only comparable restaurant in town.

Loved the eclectic menu and wonderful service. Would definitely eat here again when I'm back in Sisters, OR.

Some of the best food I have ever had! Mother and son chef team...creating some very interesting food combinations. This is a tapas (small plate) type restaurant and they change the menu every month so you are sure to eat something different all the time!

Amazingly diverse menu, all our food was fabulous. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service. I'll be going back.

My husband took me to The Porch for my birthday on the 31st (a Tuesday night). Unfortunately, we were seated in the same room as a very boisterous group of 8 people. The acoustics in the room were poor, so their noise level was amplified. The first course, salad, was incorrect, so I sat and watched my husband eat his while mine was returned - he was nearly done by the time the correct one came back to the table. We were not into the tapas menu and had to wait quite some time (20-30 minutes) for our meal (they only had 2 meal options on the menu and a 3rd was available once I asked if that was all there was). So, if you can imagine, we sat in silence, drinking water and iced tea, unable to talk, while the adjacent table shrieked and squealed through various tapas, drinks, and bottles of wine. (I left with a headache) Granted, the place was very busy and the 3 waitresses rushed around to keep up with the demands; we observed that the owner/chef even did some food deliveries and cleanup as well. We ordered a rice pudding for dessert which was dry and seemed undercooked - we didn't eat it. The waitress took it off the bill. We realize that this is a new place and they were very busy the night we visited. The food had good flavor and was well presented. However, the ambiance was not conducive for us to be able to share conversation, let alone food, and the limited main course menu will probably keep us from returning.

Four of us on a road trip had dinner here. Very nice people and excellent food.

First time going here, very pretty inside, the decor is interesting with art work displayed. I was surprised though that there was only 3 entrees on the menu, plus 1 special so the menu is quite limited. My lasagna was very good, but not $17 good, it came with no side, or bread, just a good size piece of lasagna. The meatball appetizer was very good, and so was the toffee cake dessert. I believe we'll be back since we're locals, but only for appetizers and dessert. There was more appetizers available than entrees.

My family and I were coming back from Sahalie Falls and yelped food places and we found this amazing place to eat! its a great little place with excellent food! They choices are diverse and all of it home made down to the potatoe chips. i ordered the portabello mushroom sandwich and it was so full of flavor and so filling! I liked the options of sitting inside and out on the porch and it was a great place to hang out, relax and eat after hiking all day. Can't wait to go back.

Food was amazing and so was the service. Off the beaten path by a couple of blocks. Well worth it.

A great combo of comfort food, creativity and small plates. I had deep fried mac, fried chicken and shrimp and grits. All fantastic and not overwhelming. Service was exceptional, too.

This place is like eating tapas in a friends living room. Old house converted to downwn-home friendly dining. Great mix of southern comfort food and special plates. Recommend reservations on a weekend. Favorite was the fried chicken and waffle.

Sisters has needed another great restaurant and now we have one! Chef Carol previously worked at Jen's Garden, our other sterling eatery. The Porch has its own charm and I love the small plates concept. A must!
