Good food made fresh. Delish! Bacon Burger was awesome. Bacon was made fresh. The potato curry soup was great. And friendly even when super busy!

Reasonably priced, however ran out of the soup of the day by 5pm. We were disappointed - food was good, but not great. Had two waitstaff attend to us - one was personable, the other not. Wine at $8/ glaas a bit high. $5/ pint of beer ok.

Don't go here. We were told we needed to wait 10 minutes for lunch to begin, so we stuck around. 40 minutes later, they finally called us in to order lunch after they had already taken other orders from people who had not been waiting. When we got up to order the ladies who were taking our order were clearly disorganized, aggravated, and unfriendly because of how busy the restaurant was. They made it apparent to us that they were stressed and took it out on us with their curt remarks and rude behavior. The food could have been decent, but the service was so terrible I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt inclined to warn people about this place specifically. Maybe you will be provided better service if the place is not busy. But if any amount of traffic comes in expect rude behavior from the staff because they cannot manage a large amount of customers without breaking down.

Had the Super Turkey sans cream cheese but added the pepper jelly. Amazing!! So light and refreshing on a warm summer day, yet also filling. Chili is mediocre, a little too watery and herby (sage?). Mushroom burger is really good and hand cut fries are bomb.com !!! Chocolate milkshake is pretty good too and they give you a lot. Also nice they serve drinks. Service was quick and there was no line at all. Overhead several others repeatedly saying how good their sandwiches were (Reuben and roast beef), even going up to the hostess and thanking them for such a good sandwich. Back patio had great ambiance.

We went on a busy Sunday & were able to call ahead and get our name on the list so we got seated right away. Wonderful! The food was good but not great. The portion size was small for what you pay and our waitress (who was very friendly) did not refill our drinks; coffee & water (even after asking). Cute atmosphere & a wonderful back deck make the place worth giving it a try.

This cute deli has adorable decor with flowers and vegetable plants everywhere! You order at the counter and seat yourself. They have a huge patio that allows you to sit in the shade and enjoy the decor! It's a good sandwich/salad place with lots of fresh avocado. They also have baked goods for purchase! Their prices are OK, I got the open faced chicken pita ($11) and it was pretty good! I would've liked more chicken on it but it was filling and a great start to your day. 8)

We love visiting these little cafes all over, so we were pretty disappointed in our experience. My wife ordered a sandwich with no mayo, she can't have it. It came with mayo, no big deal, brought it up and just asked for another slice of bread. The lady glared at her then went back grabbed a piece, came out and tossed it in her plate. My wife said thanks and the lady said, "Ya." The patty melts were on special, my father and I got it. Both were burnt so much that the bread would break as you are it. Too bad, we would've been frequent visitors.

We had great sandwiches and burgers here. The patio was welcome after a long road trip. It's casual and kid friendly.
(4)Bill T.
Loved a Crisp Apple Salad and Chicken gyro. Light grilled open face pita with grilled chicken fresh tomato, avocado, cucumber and Taziki sauce on the side. Crisp apple salad was just right. Seating outdoor or indoor. Our traditional lunch or breakfast stop on our annual trip to Sunriver. The G scale train chugging around the cafe is a plus for kids and Granddads.

Love this place! I've been her twice so far, and have been satisfied both times. I especially love the smoked turkey sandwich with pepper jam. I was a little timid when the it was recommended to me. But after trying it out I don't know if I can ever try any of the other dishes here. All in all this place has great service, an awesome community atmosphere, and not to mention wonderful food.

I had been to this restaurant a few years ago with my daughter, and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I recently stopped by on the weekend and had a very poor experience. I was really excited to have breakfast with my boyfriend who had never been there before! As we walked in I told him it was a great spot! Things have changed. We apparently arrived at the wrong time, after breakfast and before lunch when they don't really close ... but don't really want to serve you either. Five people were standing behind the counter talking as we arrived, and they were too busy to greet us. When they finally did , they asked said if we were here for breakfast? We said yes and they said they were no longer serving breakfast and just stared at us. We said lunch was fine too we were just hungry. In the same flat voice the waitress said seat yourself , so we did. I should have known then. We waited 20 minutes at a table on the patio, as the waitresses passed by several times to check on other customers. Nobody's greeted us at our table to provide a menu, offer water or coffee. We then moved inside hoping we would get better attention as all the tables inside had emptied out. The 5 watered waitresses were still standing around the counter talking. Surely then they would notice us now as we sat right in front of them! We waited another 15 minutes while not even one looked at us. It was very strange, as if we did not exist. About this time my very patient boyfriend had lost patience. Then more people came in to eat lunch and they were rudely told if they wanted to wait they could but it would be at least 20 minutes. At this point we got up to leave. As we did one of the 5 waitresses standing around the counter finally came over. I explained that because we had to wait so long, just for a friendly greeting or a cup of coffee it was clear they didn't value the customer relationship. We won't be back. Amy

Stopped here for a late lunch based on prior Yelp reviews. Had the turkey and swiss- liked a lot. The deck behind the restaurant is a great place to sit in nice weather. I would eat here again if I were ever in the area.

I understand it can get busy in Sisters in the summer, that's no reason to be rude. The staff here isn't friendly at all. It was over 100° and the line was super long. I Tried to get water while we waited but not one of the three water stations had cups. There were also TONS of yellow jackets around because all the trash cans were overflowing. Very scary. I had the cool cucumber cocktail. I'm a super light weight so I usually feel something after one drink. I could tell they didn't put almost any alcohol in the drink. Two stars for the amount of meat on the sandwiches. Really good quality.
(2)Matt B.
The food and atmosphere are great at this casual, order from the counter, restaurant. We had several sandwiches which were all equally good and the fries were amazing. The burger was juicy and very tasty too. Sit outside as the garden setting is quite comfortable with cold water misters and ample shade to dodge the hot afternoon sun.
(5)Ingrid F.
Everything was really really good. Cob salad excellent. Italian Soda great! Berry pie so good. Chai milkshake wow! Fantastic meal. Great service too! Thanks!
(5)Julie M.
Best Cobb salad I have ever had. Homemade balsamic dressing. Bacon and other flavors were deeeelish. Oh yeah and kids loved watching the model train go around on its track.
(5)Terry R.
Walked in to a small quaint cafe on our way through Sisters. The service was pretty slow to start as they only have 1 waitress. Once the food came it was good; we had breakfast. Fun place to stop and the waitress was very friendly and always smiled.
(4)Denise G.
Things started out promising, we could bring our dog on the patio, which was awesome. But the service was terrible, it was a Sunday morning and not that busy. Our waitress asked us if we wanted our check about 5 minutes after we ordered our meal. A half an hour later we got our pancakes and scrambled eggs. I asked for no cheese on my scramble and, sure enough, it had cheese on it and my eggs were a little burnt. We had to ask for water refills and never got them. All in all, I wanted to like this cute little place but probably won't be going back next time we go through Sisters.
(2)Jr M.
Good food, fast service, dog friendly. Based on a previous review, I had the turkey sand with pepper jelly - really good!
(4)Kat J.
We came to sisters to visit for the weekend and had breakfast here on the way out. The food and service was amazing. Love that they are gluten free friendly. Will be back next time we are in town.
(5)Joanie W.
Great sandwiches and soup!! Ate here on a cold day and their menu had a wonderful selection. Great service too!
(4)J.B. D.
We loved it! Family friendly, great outdoor space. Delicious French fries!!!! The vegetarian sandwich was perfect and the fresh bread roll was amazing. We will definitely go back!
(5)Kari S.
Good little place to grab a bite when passing through Sisters. We had sandwiches; all were good and the hand cut fries were great! Very friendly service and fast!
(4)Jen K.
I have to admit, I completed misjudged this place based on the exterior. It appears very dark, sort of like an old saloon, from the entrance on Cascade Avenue. So imagine my surprise when I enjoyed lunch on the large back deck, which might be one of the nicest outdoor dining spaces in town. Seasons is another local favorite, but the Depot's menu is much broader. On a summer weekend, the wait was long to place our order at the counter, but the food was worth the wait. The outdoor dining area has all the essential elements: nice quantity of tables of varying sizes, all well spaced from one another. There were cactus plants on the tables, but plenty of trees providing shade and flowering plants and art to make the area feel relaxing and comfortable. Dogs were happily lounging with diners at almost every table. Our groups' meals, a variety of sandwiches and burgers, were all very good. I had the Peachy Keen Burger, mainly because I was fascinated by the description (BBQ sauce and peaches) and it all worked. One surprise is that most burgers are served on a cheese-onion Kaiser roll, so you may want to substitute a plain bun for any diners not interested in something a little out of the ordinary. Portion size was spot on. Frequently I only eat half of my lunch due to the insane portion size most places serve, but this was just right. Water is served in Mason jars and they have a nice selection of beverages. The place was swamped, but the staff was hustling and did their best to provide good, timely service. They do have tables indoors and a model train chugging in a circle around the ceiling. As a nod to Sisters most important festival, one of the box cars had miniature quilts hanging on the side. I'm kicking myself for not eating here sooner. Better late than never!

When asking a waitress an innocent question, the waitress retorted "WHAT!" She then caught herself and answered the question. Then they messed my my wife's order. The waiter took it back and we assumed she would get a replacement. The waiter then came back with the SAME salad and said it will take another half hour to bring her a replacement salad. Then, then never brought one of the entrees which we had to get a refund. WE WILL NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN!
(1)Mark J.
Went for dinner. Surprisingly good food as it sounded more like just basic american fare. Really sort of doing the basics with care and excellent ingredients. Awesome outdoor dining area sand friendly staff added up for a excellent meal with plans to return. That's really the best review isn't it? Would you go back and would to recommend to your friends? Answer: YES!
(5)Dean L.
Great French dip and homemade fries, can't beat it in eastern Oregon! Decent portions for $10 but the fries just beat all restaurants in this area. We now take our business lunches there once a week!
(5)LaShanda E.
We were driving from Redmond and wanted to stop in Sisters to eat. This place was recommended to us by a local. It was fantastic!! I had an excellent burger and the hand cut fries were awesome! The other people in my party loved it too!! When we come back through, I will stop here!!
(5)Heidi N.
First of all: how can you give a restaurant a bad review for being too busy? You're saying they're bad.... because they're so good? If you're in Sisters right now, it's the middle of summer and you're surrounded by a bunch of other hot, hungry tourists, and you're annoyed because you can't sit down and eat right when you want to ... take a deep breath. Don't blame it on the restaurant. Go order some iced coffee at Sisters Coffee and cool your jets. If you've never been here, the restaurant serves basic lunch and breakfast fare during the day but switches over to a seasonal/weekly menu of "gourmet" food at night. I use quotes on the gourmet because this place is totally unpretentious, but has dishes that compete with all of the best restaurants in Bend. Here is smattering of dishes that they have had in the recent past: Starters: lime-glazed garnet yams Oregon Bay shrimp cream cheese puffs with sweet chili dipping sauce deep fried brussel sprouts Laab (northern thai specialty with pork and cucumbers) hong kong pork belly with apple compote soy glazed green beans with crispy shallots grilled eggplant tapenade with pita chips, bell pepper and cucumber fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce salads: blackened chicken salad with quinoa, oranges, avocado, and greens, tossed in a lime, cilantro and agave vinaigrette. superfood salad with spring greens, organic quinoa, blackberries, oranges, avocado and cucumber, and topped with a grilled chicken breast in balsamic vinaigrette. Entrees: garlic tri-tip with peppers and jasmine rice cajun trout with warm fingerling potato salad in lemon maple vinaigrette green curry with draper valley chicken pan seared wild sockeye with ginger mustard glaze, served with Parmesan potatoes and grilled vegetables pad thai with chicken or organic tofu pan seared sea scallops in fresh pesto, served with fingerling potatoes and vegetables. turkey meatloaf served with creamy mushroom and sundried tomato sauce, mashed potatoes and green beans linguine in marinara with deschutes river ranch ground beef, zucchini and mushrooms. roast duck with rhubarb sauce filet mignon pan seared and topped with mushrooms and bleu cheese butter massaman curry with draper valley chicken, pineapple and sweet potatoes bacon wrapped red snapper served with a spiced tomato, avocado and mustard vinaigrette. pan fried arctic char with arugula cream sauce, scallop potatoes and vegetables wild cajun cod with roasted yam and broccoli You have to remember though, that they have a very small menu at any given time. (Though I think they also serve off of the lunch menu in the evening.) I usually check their facebook page to see if any of it sounds good to me before we drive out there.
(5)Joan D.
Beautiful shady back patio. Gluten free options. Delicious food! We have 6 in our family and came for lunch on a Sunday. The service was good and we got our food right away!!
(5)Michael T.
The turkey pepperjelly sandwich is superb! I highly recommend it! Service was fast and the atmosphere was pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. The homemade ranch that came with my fries was excellent, however the fries themselves were a little underwhelming. The pork chili was also above average, but nothing to write home about. My sandwich would receive 5/5 stars though :)
(4)Greg C.
Great outdoor patio. Sandwich was very good and served pretty quickly for how busy it was.
(4)April R.
Completely unimpressed. The service was slow and left something to be desired. At 10am they informed us (while ordering) that they were out of potatoes. The coffee is way too strong and we had to go inside to get our own sugar. Our food took forever and when it came we still didn't have silverware! My eggs came out runny and raw instead of over medium and it took forever for them to re-make them. My husbands meal was supposed to come with toast but he had to remind them because he didn't get it. When he did, he got it twice. The wait staff does not talk to each other here! On the plus side when we did see our waitress she was very nice and the outside area provides a neat atmosphere. Needless to say we will not be back.
(1)Cyn S.
The Depot is great. Not only was the service good, but so was the food. Most importantly we dined on the patio with our canines! My husband had a regular burger. He loved it and said the fries were excellent. I went with the quesadilla and ate the whole thing! Wish there had been room for dessert. The couple 2 tables over raved about the mixed berry pie. Thanks again Yelp friends. Disclaimer: I only give 5 stars for fine dining restaurants. This probably should be 5 if you're not a linen tablecloth, cloth napkin person.
(4)Luisa G.
Excellent meal and good value. I had the burger on a home made bun, the soups are also healthy and home made. Friendly service-we will definitely be back
(4)GT W.
Simple sandwich shop in the main shopping area in Sisters. Nice beer selection on tap surprisingly, Boneyard and Ninkasi among others. Kegs weren't super fresh though. The turkey and pepper jelly sandwich that people are raving about delivered and was absolutely delicious. Soups and everything else were top notch. Prices unbeatable. Hang out with tourists and locals alike in this ~6 table haunt. Loved it.
(5)Kellie L.
I'm super picky about food quality. This place despite its modest appearance impressed! Cobb salad was huge, beautiful and delicious! Will go back without a doubt. Owners are gluten free according to the very nice woman who helped us. Obvious there is a lot of attention placed on quality ingredient's. Great experience!
(5)Krystal F.
Wish it was more consistent. Half the time it's great, the other half not so great. Seems when the owners are away it's not as good... Will try again but wish when I ordered the same sandwich every time it turned out the same.....
(3)Tiffany S.
Food was mediocre and overpriced for the quality. I had the curry for $14.95. The sauce was a bit on the runny side and lacked spice. Waitress was strange. If it were warmer the patio would have been great to hang out on.
(2)Carson K.
This is a local favorite of mine. I pretty much always get the Gyro. They have great food and the location is convenient. They also have a few microbrews and have decent outdoor seating for a nice day. This is a place that I always make it to while in Sisters.
(5)Latina V.
This place is so cute inside with the wood furniture and the train decorated with Sisters stuff. The menu has good selection and it has a pretty patio. My husband ordered the gyro, one of his favorite things to eat, and it was very pretty, lots of fresh green lettuce and veggies, but no meat? It didn't say on the menu vegetarian or meatless so he was very surprised about this and asked the nice girl at the front desk who I think could have been new, but very nice and said it didn't come with it although another reviewer mentioned meat in the gyro. He asked for something else instead and it took 15 minutes or so to get it (sandwich). He was very disappointed by the experience and price tag of the gyro and felt it should say if it's vegetarian or meatless on the menu. When his sandwich finally came out, the gentlemen who brought it out didn't say anything like thanks for the feedback, I hope this is better for you, etc., he seemed cranky about the exchange, although the register girl came by with a smile and asked him if it was ok. It was a bummer it took forever to come out, I waited with him but finally began to eat my sandwich when his exchange was taking so long. He did not care for the experience which is too bad for such a nice and cute place. My hoagie was ok, but the bread wasn't toasted, just soft so it didn't seem like a traditional hoagie. We live nearby and I think we will stick to going to Angeline's, or Los Agaves in town for eating out. Sad about our experience with other great reviews.
(2)Beth P.
Terrific dining selection when staying in Sisters. Great selections on the menu. Large portions. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Never dissatisfied. Great homemade desserts and staff that always meet your expectations.
(5)Orian I.
mmmm..yumms. We went there twice although I wasn't able to check in for some reason. The first time was an early dinner, The place was relatively empty it was totally a weird time. We loved the decor it was so homey and like a local townie kind of feeling. they had fresh wild flowers on the table which was just charming. We ordered the burger special which that night was a stuffed rogue blue cheese and bacon burger on a house made kaiser roll. and the "rocky" being in beef country it is clear that that's what should be ordered. man oh man that was a tasty tasty burger. hand formed and delicious and a most impressive bun. we subed salad for fries to cut back our naughtiness, what a fabulous salad, delicious home made dressing, get the vinaigrette it is absolutely fantastic. The "rocky" was an incredible combination of pastrami (yumm double yummm) two cheeses and mustard. I could have used a heavy tang on the mustard but other than that this sandwich will chase any foodies blues away. The next day we came in for lunch. It was paaaacked. at lunch time you order at the counter. We got the regular bacon cheese burger..omg..rogue blue cheese and bacon is the best combo. salad again and we tried the smoked turkey and pepper jelly. It was an excellent sandwich, however..for me..this is not my thing. it's soft and creamy and sweet. I personally would have wanted a bitey mustard, or maybe some pickles, something crunchy. but!!! it is what most people like and its a great sandwich for that. i think the rocky is far superior in every way. The price point is reasonable as I could tell for the town. I love this place, I loved the owners. My mom and I had a great time and will be back every time we come back to sister, that's guaranteed.
(5)Carolyn R.
A local cafe with surprisingly delicious food. Best Cobb Salad I have ever had and I eat a lot of salads. The ingredients were really fresh and local. Those with me were delighted as well. The French fries were perfect. Definitely a place Togo whe n you can eat outside.
(5)Kulani F.
Forgettable food that was fairly expensive for what it was. Combined with the nearly hour-long wait for burgers and sandwiches, I wouldn't recommend it.
(2)James Q.
We stopped here for a quick, easy, light lunch and we were not expecting much as we were just passing through this little town. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! It's a very unpretentious deli but with really good food featuring all organic and sustainable, local farm products. There's a small dinning room inside and a larger patio out back and a couple of outdoor tables outside in the front. The menus are laminated in plastic and printed on both sides. They are easy to read and easy to understand. Daily specials are posted on a board. My wife wanted something light so she chose the soup + salad combo for a mere $6! The soup was Taco Soup, similar to a Chili Soup with ground beef and topped with cilantro, shredded Cheddar Cheese and super-tender, crispy, not-greasy chips. It was hearty and super delicious. She also liked her small mixed green vegetable salad. She was a happy camper. I had the same soup but a bowl instead of a cup and I am glad I chose the bowl because it was so very good! I also had a fresh Spinach Salad with bacon, hard boiled egg, onions and almond slivers. A nice oil/vinegar vinaigrette was served on the side. This, too, was excellent! The pies looked so good but we went for a walk around town and came back for pie and coffee. We had the mixed berry pie. It included Marionberry and it was really good and the crust was superb! The prices for everything was very reasonable. We would come back if we're ever in the area, again. I also had a very nice chat with Pam and she said they had been open for 4 years and it turns out she has spent time near our home before moving up to Sisters, OR. She knows good food and knows how to cook and serve it. The entire staff was great. They were helpful, friendly and very willing to please the customers! This is just a great place all the way around! BTW, if you read my other reviews, you will see that I am very stingy about giving out 5 stars! Jim

I've been coming to the Depot Deli for years. And it used to have my favorite sandwich. In fact, I'd drive from Sunriver (when I used to live there) all the way to Sisters to enjoy their hoagie sandwich. I don't know if it's just me or the sandwich that's getting older, but this last time just plain out disappointed me. It used to be juicy. Chock full of meat. Cold veggies, hot meat, melted cheese, crazy good bread. This one? Meh. I got a side of chili as well and wasn't impressed. It was okay. As in not bad, but ok. For a $9 sandwich, I want it to fill me up and make me satisfied. Maybe it's just me. Maybe they changed a recipe. The bread, maybe? I don't know. I'm giving this one an A-OK rating because that's my own opinion. I still plan on coming here again next time I'm in Sisters, but I think I'll try something else. And on the plus side, there's always great service. Smiling folk that look like the kids of Stepford wives. But genuine smiles. Thanks for that.
(3)David A.
Another of my regular go-to spots here in Sisters. Pam and Chris do an amazing job here. The menu is always top notch, the decor cute but not kitschy, and the service attentive. Many signature menu items like the deep-friend brussel sprouts (no really! they're amazing!) The elk burger is bold and well-executed and as any good establishment in central Oregon, and excellent local beer and wine list. Don't pass this one up!
(4)Melisa T.
We took a drive to Sisters our second week in Bend. We had no expectations and once we got there we figured out we were hungry. I think we drove through town twice before deciding where to go. This was it. Small, quaint and locals standing outside chatting. Seemed like the ideal local cafe to eat. We got lucky. There is a small dining room with all sizes of tables. You order at the register and then find your table. They bring you your food. I had a Club sandwich on a croissant. Yes, you heard it right, on a croissant!! Buttery goodness and bacon too! I know! Al had the French Dip, which apparently was a hit. French fries and side salad were good too. They have a train track around the ceiling, but it appeared that it does not travel around any longer. They have live music (although I'm not sure where they would put a band or guitarist and still have room for the customers). There is a large outdoor area. We can't wait to come back when the weather is nice to hang out back there. It is a busy place and you now know why. Great food, the staff is extremely friendly and it's way better than your standard cafe. You should stop in if you find yourself in Sisters.
(4)Ken N.
So as promised? Dinner update as follows...Please be seated and you may be waited on by Pam herself (owner) or one of the staff who are all very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu & nightly specials. The special board included one entree of each variety of food, from seasonal grilled fresh veggie pasta, salmon or steak salad, A cuban sandwich, freshly smoked ribs...well you get the idea. (everything that came out of the kitchen looked great) I was in the mood for a lighter meal so I chose a flatbread style pizza w/chicken, bbq sauce, red onion & shrooms, finished with fresh shaved parm. I could tell the flatbread was fresh made because of it's light & crispy texture. I paired it with a Boneyard rpm Ipa! It seemed as if the muddled fresh strawberry/mint vodka infusion was a hit with the ladies. I had also been in previously with friends and had a cowboy burger, salmon salad & cobb salad...all of which were delish and hearty. Prices range from $10 - &16 and good portion size with ALL FRESH Ingredients. They had a local music combo on the back patio tonight...that was a perfect way to end another beautiful summer day in Central Oregon. Cheers to Pam & Chris for creating an awesome dining experience in Sisters!!!
(5)Cindy W.
Great place for lunch.. they have yummy sandwiches I had one with turkey and pepper jelly we sat outside and people watched.... they have a cute patio..
(4)Rachel P.
We walked in today, as we weren't sure if we wanted to try this place or the Ski Inn. This place was crammed full, Menu said breakfast till 11- no where to sit. We drove down to Ski Inn.... Seemed like a neat place but again- busy inside and outside seating was wet from rain...
(2)Sean N.
Great breakfast. We stop by here for a a quick bite when we are going through town and heading over the pass. Excellent staff.
(5)Bart B.
Excellent place for burgers & sandwiches. Got a tip from a local... Had the Ortega burger with green chiles and pepperjack cheese... Awesome and delicious. I'll be back next time I'm passing through sisters.
(5)Jeannine M.
Wonderful tasty fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere, very clean. Attentive, helpful and courteous staff. We've watched the Depot Cafe go through a huge change in the past 5 years. It's a local favorite and packed at lunch.
(5)Siobhan F.
We went there for dinner. The fried Brussels sprouts with garlic aoli are wonderful. I had the pork tenderloin. It was smoked and came with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was a meal I will think about for a long time to come. I was surprised that it wasn't crowded since the food is so good and reasonable.
(4)Stephanie K.
Came here after realizing the Ski Inn was too much of a greasy spoon to fulfill my cute little brunch visions that I had in my head. This place didn't have that much in terms of a breakkie menu, but the lunch was really good. I ended up getting a strawberry salad with a cup of veggie chili. The Marine got a turkey club and fries. We both scarfed up everything on the plate while enjoying the local newspaper. The salad was amazing with strawberries, feta, almonds, and slivered almonds. And the veggie chili was a hearty chili at that. Good food at great prices.

Depot Deli is a must-eat if you happen to be in Sisters. You must try the smoked turkey and pepper jelly (warm of course). The pepper jelly is... well... to live for. Depot Deli also has some salty, but tasty fries to accommodate your tasty sandwich. To top things off, try one of their five beers on tap (most are quite awesome) or if you are not a tap kind of person, try there fine selection of bottled Rogue beers.

What a great lunch spot. I always stop Here when I am in Sisters. Great soup and sandwiches and don't forget to get one of their yummy cookies.

Basic sandwich place. Busy but it was spring break. Kids liked the train going around above our heads.

Had a wonderful dinner the other night. I am a big fan of what they are doing with the place. Very positive experience. Will be back

Ordinarily LOVE this place and at least 4 stars. Got here 11:08 and missed the 11am breakfast cutoff, which is fine. Gyro was meat poor. Hoagie AWESOME as usual. Soup came out refrigerator cold. Disappointed this time around for a place with high standards.

Just pretty good. I hoped that all of the families, construction workers, and apparent regulars in here would mean the food is outstanding. It's only pretty good. The atmosphere is cool, a little neighborhood grill with a great outdoor picnic-style patio that I imagine can only be used for 3 months out of the year here, and a rad little salad bar with half of a sneeze guard. I got a mushroom swiss burger, but to be diffucult I asked for a chicken breast instead. They happily obliged, and the result was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had. There was a bit too much cheese, the 15 year old grillmaster got a little crazy with the swiss and not crazy enough with the 'shrooms. The home-cut fries were good, remeniscent of (gasp!) Islands'. Prices were a tad steep. I'd come here again, but I'd try the straight up burger-fries-shake joint down the street first.

We last visited Depot Deli a few days after Christmas 2009. It has changed.....for the better. I have loved this place for a long time since I used to live in the Sisters area. We had a delightful dinner and our large crowd did not unsettle the owners service or friendliness. I had a flank steak with an amazing pesto type sauce. I asked for a substitute for the potato dish and they served me up (with out hesitation) wonderful sauteed mushrooms. I highly recommend them

Probably the best place to get a sandwich or salad (lunch) in Sisters. Decent prices, good variety of sandwiches and salads and daily specials. I tried the gyro and it was pretty good.

I had the turkey with pepper jelly sandwich at the suggestion of Travis D. It was very good. I really like the roll that they use on their sandwiches. Their taco soup was also very good. Nice, casual place.
