Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

3 and a half stars. This Chipolte or Qudoba styled Mexican restaurant was not as bad as I thought it might be. I got the Burrito Salad which was pretty good. It is by no means authentic Mexican cuisine but is suitable to duck in if you need a quick lunch. The guy that placed my order was very friendly and nice. The food itself for the most part was fresh which is something I always pay attention to. The lettuce that made up my salad(along with cabbage) had a little bit of brown to it on some pieces but it did not influence the taste at all. If you want yogurt they also serve that too!

We love food and our first choice was McDonald's just across the street from this place. McD was so crowded that we decided to look for other options. After I spotted a Subway and drove over there I noticed this place just right next door. It was 9:50am (they open at 10am) when we got there and were trying to choose between Subway and this place then I noticed and employee was inside and apparently working so I decided to pull the door (it was unlocked) and ask him if they could feed some starving tourists. I did not even had a chance to open my mouth when he practically stopped what he was doing, gave me a bad, bad dirty look, and told me: "We open in 10 minutes don't you know how to read? It is posted over there!" Bad, bad move and a stupid mistake from my part (Yes, tourists tend to do stupid things when we are not familiar with new places, despite we know how to read). 1.- If you are the owner, you better sell the place because I don't think you should be in the customer service business. I don't think you are a role model for your employees and I don't think your restaurant will be a great success. 2.- If you are not the owner then the owner better fire this guy who apparently has zero skills on how to deliver great customer service. We ended up going to Subway where the employees were not great shining stars either (and their oven was out of service). It was our first time in Seaside and with all the options they have, this definitely will be my very very very last option to take my family out for breakfast. We spent about 1 hour 10 minutes at Subway (we left a little bit after 11am) and I never saw a single customer stepping in this place. Good job on scaring customers away!

Very small portions for the amount you pay. Not seasoned well. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!!

why spend the day at the beach when you can come here. brought the whole family. Was blown away by there immaculate water. I will go no where else but here in the future for a fresh cup of water. The burritos on the other hand are a hard pass. also the girl working was trying to steal my skateboard. Erg.

Meh.... expensive, not that great tasting. There are a few other Mexican places in town that serve far superior food for the same price (and much bigger portions). The 2 stars are really just for the service/atmosphere.... the guy who helped me was quite courteous and nice, the place clean and decent. But $9 for a burrito and drink? No thanks.... it's connected to Subway... if I were to return, I'd much prefer a basic Subway sandwich over a basic blah (expensive) burrito!

I went in for a late meal. It was an hour until close but the place looked neat because it was connected to a subway and served frozen yogurt as well. You build your own burrito the same way you would at a Chipotle Mexican Restaurant. However, all I could think about before ordering was how long the ingredients must have been sitting out all day especially that all the other places around Seaside closed before 8PM and it was now an hour before midnight... But I decided to try a burrito with a spinach tortilla and smoked salmon. It was mediocre and I didn't finish it... I was scared I would have a stomach ache. Definitely not a place that I would try again.

This place is horrible. I know it's just a burrito fast food deal, but the rice wasn't cooked in our burritos and I told the gal that. She didn't even offer to remake our food or change out the uncooked rice. I watched six Other people go through and get the same stuff. A few other said something and still nothing changed out. I think a manager should retrain the employees here. I'm glad this place isn't where I live.

Burritos with fresh and healthy options, pepsi products and frozen yogurt..... It just doesn't get much better - but it does... .Friendly staff, upbeat decor, quick service. You will want to check this place out.

This place is wonderful. It allows you to build your own burrito and put whatever ingredients you'd like into it. The staff is always super friendly. Inside of the beach burrito there is a wonderful build your own frozen yogurt section that is also awesome!

Love this place and my favorite burrito builder girl!

So this used to be my favorite spot to go truly loved it till the staff became a bunch of teenagers with attitudes never complain without a manager there cause you will get the High School mentality with the eye rolls and humfs added. Used to be worth the money you spent also until the portions varied by staff working. I will never go to the seaside location again and I would not recommend it to anyone who wants customer service without the teenage mentality.

Let me elaborate on my experience at Beach Burrito. Originally I was looking forward to this place because of the great reviews that had on yelp. The decor in the restaurant was very lively and had a nice atmosphere but the food wasn't good at all. I got the 'Make your own burrito' but was hesitant because a lot of the food didn't look fresh at all and the refried beans were dried up. It was way overpriced for food that had no flavor at all. Beach Burrito deleted my previous comment, so I thought I'd elaborate on why I wasn't a fan of this place or it's food.

A great alternative to the burgers and greasy food this town is saturated with. Great tasting (huge) burritos with fresh ingredients. The chipotle coleslaw is wonderful. The store is brand new, very clean, and has a friendly staff. One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite!
