I consider myself pretty picky, and I really like Crawlers. They are small, family and I felt like I was visiting a friend's place more than a restaurant. The food was pretty good. I like that you can BYO rc crawler. The pluses : comfortable, casual, affordable, fun, family friendly. Great brews! Yummy vanilla porter, I had 2 and didn't drive home. The bads : A tad slow. So learn some patience, kick back or play. When it's busy it takes a few minutes to get taken care of, so if you want fast and unhappy food McDogfood's is a few blocks away. Take a break, try it out. You're supporting a local family here and your kiddos will be thrilled.

Our first visit to this new Sandy restaurant turned out to be on nacho night, and we are now hooked! For $7, we got a huge pile of nachos which was plenty for two people. Our friends were there dining, and said we need to go back on Monday and try the tacos, so of course we're all about $1 tacos! It's fun to watch other people do the RC thing, although I have no interest in it myself. It struck me as a fun thing for dads to do with their kiddos, something we need more of in this town. Great server, super friendly (Sarah!), and good food. I think this place will be a great addition to Sandy.

So this place! We walked in and the ambiance is not what you expect at a pub. There is this RC rock crawler area which we didn't know what to make of. The menu was about as basic as basic gets. My husband ordered the mushroom swiss burger and I had the Philly steak sandwich. While we waited for our food we drank delicious Mt Hood Brewing Ice Axe. When our food came we were super impressed. This guy's secret sauce is amazing. Later people came in and started RC rock crawling and it was a good show. Maybe we will try it ourselves next time.
