Most people don't know why the name of this coffee drive through is so great. In the vicinity where "One flew the Cuckoos Nest" was filmed, the punny cinematic reference to "Salem's Lot" made me smile. The coffee made my smile even wider. There is no comparison. It's the best cafe latte you will get in Salem Oregon. The Stumptown coffee is the best in the land! I recommend the latte.

Horrible latte. Ordered a large iced fat free sugar free hazelnut latte for $4.75, took one sip and had to give it back before I could even stand to take another drink. The gal tried to doctor it up to make it drinkable. She handed it back even worse than before. Wasted $4.75 because it's disgusting. They need some major work on their flavored lattes. Will not go back.

What do sideswipes, piercings and an overgrown shrubs add up to? Crazy good coffee! I wanted authentic java and yelpers led me to this 5 star for taste coffee place. This drive thru only coffee stop, (only open till 2:00 pm so plan accordingly), in Salem, OR on State Street is off the beaten path of the usual joe and literally in location. It is located behind and sharing a building with Jori Zan's piercings. Blink and you'll miss it and drive on by. Once you establish where to turn in you go thru the drive thru next to a house with overgrown shrubs and think can good coffee really be found here? You order, pay, tip and exit only to have a near miss with a car every time. The drive thru isn't easily seen and you cannot see as you leave easily. One sip and you forget all that. It is that good. They serve Stumptown coffee which meant nothing to me originally but now I am sold. No bitter taste just bold smooth coffee goodness. I will be back over and over the next time I am in the area.

Love this place! Love the coffee! Dislike their hours. I would probably buy coffee almost every day there if they were open later and on weekends. Delicious Stumptown Coffee.

Drive thru only. This used to be the only place in Salem with Stumptown coffee, but now others have joined that elite coffee market. Nonetheless, this is the best tasting mocha in town. If buying local is your thing, then this is your morning stop.

This is the only place in Salem where you can get Stumptown coffee. Yes, it's in a piercing parlor (Jori Zan's). But, without question, this place serves up the best coffee in town. So your barista has a few extra piercings - so what? The coffee is spectacular and service is also great - not in that cutesy, overly caffeinated "have a great day" sort of way - just good, decent coffee and good, decent, service. What more could you ask for? Oh, yeah - no extra charge for soy milk. That's right. This place rocks.
