Had a bacon cheeseburger yesterday and a Coors light. Walked right in and say down (ar the bar) Waitress was really nice and the burger was good! Cooked perfect and the bun was nice and soft. Environment and decor was less "Chuck E cheese" and more high end.. Which is good. Haha took a while to get our food but I expected that , because it was PACKED. its a new location and I'm sure some new servers and they need a couple weeks to get all the kinks out. Cut em some slack haha Burger And Fries Were Yummy :) And I never went to their old location since it was only for families with screaming 4 year olds. :)

What a disappointment. We have loyally loved red robin for many years. I'd be embarrassed for people to know how often we went. But since the move to its new location across the street things are very different. Service lacks competence. No one offers refills. Portions are small. My salad was wilted and brown. Despite being new it always looks and feels dirty. Staff are not friendly but ditzy. Now they also have these silly computer table top order systems you have to pay with. What an annoyance! Made me feel like my money isn't good enough. The only good point added was cute blackboard games for the kids. Except this time only one piece of chalk available for our 3 kids. We've been back several times thinking they just needed time to settle in the new space. But...no improvement thus far. What a disappointment.

I've had nothing but issues since the new location has opened... The first time I tried placing a to go order, not my lunch break. I was placed on hold for over 5 minutes and when I got to the restaurant I tried complaining but they dismissed it. When I got my food the eggs had been replaced with cucumbers. I called to complain about that and the wait time to get someone to place a to go order... They dismissed the hold complaint again, explained why the cucumbers were there (evidently out of hard boiled eggs) and said their only mistake was not telling me, but would give me a gift card for the mishap. So once again yesterday I tried calling in an order to use my gift card.... Placed on hold another 5 minutes, I just ate somewhere else. No one I know has said anything good about this location after their visit. And it's not the wait, or food, but people who work there that are bringing it down.

We had cold food, horrible service took forever to get drink refills. When we did get drinks refilled they wouldn't pick up any dishes even the empty fry baskets. Needless to say we had 6 people squished in a table for 4. Since the manager credited some of our food and we were splitting it between 2 different parties the waitress couldn't split it properly and with the new cashier system they have they couldn't credit or redo it to be correct so they left it as is and gave each party a $10 gift card.

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews for the new location? We were seated right away, brought drinks right away, service was awesome and food was quick and also great. We didn't experience any wait time or bad service or bad food. We will definitely visit again.

I use to really like red robin, but since they moved the service and other things seems to be lacking. I don't think I will return.

Went to the Lancaster Mall location for lunch with my parents and wife. I received the wrong hamburger from what I ordered. The effort to make things right was exceptional both waiter and waiter in training came out to apologize and make things right. But even more so the manager came out and took care of things removed the cost of the purchase from our ticket and was very cordial and offered a free meal on a return visit as well but their effort was above and beyond and great customer service. Lunch was on August 30, 2015. Everybody makes mistakes but it's how you deal with them that makes the difference.

The food was average, nothing special and nothing to be excited about. The overall experience was just not pleasant.. It took awhile to get our water even though the restaurant wasn't even that busy. (Nearly empty) and when I asked for utensils, the waitress simply just pointed to the two forks that were on the table and she didn't even consider that I needed a knife for the chicken breast from the ensenada chicken platter so I basically just stab my chicken and ate it like a savage. Nbd. The chicken breast was a little dry but it was still fine. And oh the waitress forgot about my friend's sauce for the fries. Anyways... The worst part is that the workers were having a lunch break on the table behind us and oh boy... They were so obnoxiously loud, especially when they laugh. They are completely unaware and unconsidered of the customers that were in the same space as them. And later the manager who was wearing orange even joined them. Awesome. Wish I had a better experience, but honestly and sadly that's just not the case.

They are now nickel and diming for everything, like dipping sauces and will no longer bring any of your "unlimited" fries before your food arrives. They also are understaffed and have 30 minute waits with half the tables in the restaurant empty

We came here opening weekend for their special free meal (for four of us our bill was $60 and it was free). The service was excellent and the food was fabulous as always. We all were stuffed and very happy when we left. The place was packed too and that didn't slow them down a beat. I love Red Robin and this new location being bigger with better parking makes it even better since there was always a line.

Red Robin used to be my favorite place to eat out in Salem, but now I will have to move on. Because of the renovations during the later half of July, I was not able to receive my free birthday burger for being a rewards card member. Big deal? Absolutely not. I just waited until the new location opened up in August to pop in and ask if it would be at all possible to use it now since they had been closed. I was told no. Also, not that bad. I could handle a no. What I could not handle was then being told "You would have driven up to Wilsonville if you really wanted the free burger so badly". An extra hour and a half drive from where I live! Not cool. I will not return. Should have left it at no.

This restaurant is in a new location and appears to have greatly improved from the last time I ate here (which was before they moved.) The new restaurant location is clean with updated decor. The food was good and we had fantastic service. We will eat here again.

I used to love Red Robin, but they have really gone down hill. Half of my party received cold food, our drinks weren't refilled adequately and we only got like five fries with our burger. (I know they are bottomless, but waiting for more fries is another twenty minutes ) the main floor was very dirty, as well as the bathroom. My brother said the men's restroom floor was very slippery and could be hazardous to customers. He alerted the waitress so she could put up a sign. I have always been a fan of Red Robin, but the Salem location really needs improvement. I will say that the waitress was very friendly along with the rest of the staff so that is a plus. Their food is good, they just need to work on getting it out on the table quicker.

My server really tried to do the best she could since she was training. The real issues here is the bartender. Over the course my my meal in the bar. I never once saw the bartender change his gloves. He took money, made drinks, touched dirty dishes and rags. It was gross. There is nothing clean about wearing dirty gloves, I am a big fan of washing your hands. Has someone that used to owe a restaurant I am appalled at what I witnessed today buy the bartender. Back to the server, one of our burgers was not even right and had to be sent back while the other persons food went cold. We ran out of drinks and we had to ask for napkins after our food and appetizers got delivered.

Food was great tonight, but unfortunately service seems to need to be dialed in. Not to be to critical, but honestly when you asked for ranch with you sandwich in the first place, it is kinda annoying to have to ask for it again and then wait 10 more minutes to get it. Also the space is a little strange. Old Navy felt super open. This feels cramped. I heard they moved to have more space, but it doesn't look like it. I am however glad they ditched all the crazy Applebee's like decor. When the guy next to us at the bar was dissatisfied with his chicken (he had asked for it to be well done and apparently it wasn't ) the bar tender simply responded with "Hold on I'll grab one of my managers." At the restaurant I manage, I train my staff to acknowledge the guests needs more directly. Yes, notify a manager, but at least apologize on behalf of the company.

What a disappointing experience. An unbelievable 47 minute wait?! And it wasn't even that crowded which is the mind boggling thing about the experience. It was a Thursday. After being seated, it took 18 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. No ice waters brought to the table, no "someone will be right with you" said to me. When someone finally did come, it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive- a veggie burger!! It takes maybe 4 minutes to heat up. Here is the clenched: there was two couples who arrived 20 mins and 30 minutes respectively after me, who got served before me. What?! The fries came with only about three, wasn't even filled halfway. Upon a request for more fries, it took a long time to receive them. Being made to feel like an afterthought since I was dining alone and with a small order, was not a nice feeling. The atmosphere inside does not feel like a Red Robin, a lot of black and all tables, and no booths that I would see. Terrible service when not busy, and sub par servings and food. Won't be back. Sorry Red Robin.

Our server Dylan was so nice and really salvaged the experience! He's the only reason I'm giving it a 3 star. The order took forever and when our food came out it was cold, they are really pushing the new table top ordering and it wouldn't work correctly so I had to put my foot down and just say no. All and all probably not going to rush back anytime soon.

Last night will be the last time we waste good money at this establishment. I will say that for the fist time we actually had a very pleasant server. It took 10 minutes and pushing the call server button before we able to place our drink order. After placing our food order, it was a good 30 minutes before we received our food. They no longer give milk refills with the kids meals. We asked for an extra order of fries come with the meal, we seen they were busy and thought it best to have that order placed asap. My husband had four fries come with his meal, and we both finished eating and still did not receive our extra fry. My husband asked to speak to the manager. Every time we asked for something we were told it was just very busy and got an apology. Honestly it did not seem any more busy than the other location. The best part is when my seven year old needed to use the restroom. Good lick getting there! The tables are so close together you can barely get to the restroom, its like a maze to find a path, and it is on the other side of the restaurant. We will go to applebees next time, they seem to have their act together a little more than red robin!

Wait wasnt to long but once we where seated things turned for the worse. Table was still wet from washing. When we ordered our drinks server brings the wrong one so its sent back, when he returns he says he knew it wasnt correct. Then why bring it in the first place. Silverware wasnt rolled just thrown on top of some napkins on a dish. When food arrives my sons dish is incorrect so it has to be sent back and told its going to be another 10 min for grilled cheese bites. Waiter checks on us during this time but has to be told 3 times what my son actually ordered as he keeps getting it wrong. Due to the mistakes they offer us a free mud pie but in the end forget to comp it and charge us anyway. When brought up to manager he agrees to reverse the charge and pay for our meal and tells us charge will be reversed in 24 hours its been 3 days and charge still pending on my account. Portion sizes are smaller, this location seems smaller and service sucked. Red Robbin should have never moved my family and I will not be returning going to dinner is suppose to be enjoyable I wish i had just stayed home.

Slow to seat our group of four adults and two kids. Even slower to get us our drinks. Drinks arrived two minutes before our food. Hard to believe that by moving to a location just 1,000 feet from the old location, a restaurant can spiral into the ground like this. Doubtful if we will be coming back

Well, went back for a second try/go around...and didn't even get to eat! We were seated (wasn't busy), and 15 minutes go by with no service at all. No drinks no nothing. So I go back to the front to inform someone. They tell me they'll get right on it. 5 more minutes go by, and I see the manager talking to a waitress in the distance. She then approaches, mad as fudge she had to serve us. She offers a free appetizer (good) but we can tell she's not happy. My mom orders a salad with romaine. Server says they no longer have romaine lettuce, just long stalks of it. That's it. We are done. Walk up and leave. Bye Red Robin! Have fun with yer crappy new location and horrible crew.

I got here at 5:20pm to be proactive and make sure my step sons birthday dinner was not going to have any problems. Party of 15, 1 hour and 10 minutes in advance of when anyone would arrive. They don't have call ahead seating or reservations. They were not sure if they would be able to sit us all together, I said I don't think that will work, they said they'd try to keep us together, and would have their manager talk to me about it. If it weren't a birthday party in a giant venue I'd say fine I'm being unreasonable, but an hour and ten minutes in advance, and before there was even a line is perfectly reasonable. At six o'clock I began thinking they were seating this rush that followed me fastly. I worried they were not taking care to make sure there would be room for my party of 15. I really hope Phillip Herbst's Red Robin, he's the GM. I hope to say his staff representented the quality service his customers expect, he's got the weight of 15 people and those who read this yelp review to impress. I went up at 6:10 to check up on things, the party they were waiting on to clear out had been there since shortly after 3:00pm. The hostesses were very hopeful they'd be out soon. I've been to several restaurants who politely ask large parties that have completed there meal and present opening if they could wrap it up, they of course were polite. At 6:38 we were seated. It was nicely decorated, and their were a lot of people. Outside it was in the upper 80's, inside it felt like it was 75, the AC could have been set to cool more. At 6:50 they finally asked us if we wanted something to drink. And at 7:05 they were taking our order. At 7:14 they checked our water. At 7:25 they brought us more sodas. At 7:45 our food was here. At 8:03 they asked if we wanted more fries. At 8:25 we were out of there. Good service? From sit down to meal an hour and fifty minutes food was great.
