Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The food is pretty yummy, but this new girl there is just awful.. I had to motion to her what I wanted to order because she took a phone call, which would be fine if it was for business, but it was personal... Before she took the call I had to repeat myself many times, I'd let her know what I wanted to order, she'd ignore me then ask what I want as my side.. The next time I came in she was just as rude. You can tell she doesn't want to be there and she pretty much ignores you, is snappy and rude no matter how friendly you try to be with her

I love Panda Express's honey walnut shrimp! They have a new fried brown rice but I would steer away from it. Brown rice is normally rich, earthy and has great flavor but theirs is like a minute rice that tastes like cardboard. Oh well, everything else is still awesome... the customer service, the rest of the food and their lack of use of HFCS which is fabulous! -SVJ

How can you go wrong with orange chicken and Beijing beef! It is always nice and clean here and the service is fast.

My wife likes it more than me, so it will get a three star... Not my first choice for any meal ever...

I'm a sucker for their walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and chow mien.

The drive thru isn't great for larger vehicles, I have to pop a curb in our truck but it's doable. Typical Panda Express food, fast and friendly service.

A very average experience at Panda Express -- The food was fine, but not anything special. Biggest Problem: My beef & broccoli had at most 1 oz of beef in it (and it was all tiny shards too small to stab with a fork) -- but the huge pile of broccoli florettes was very good. Luckily I really like my veggies! Husband ordered white rice with orange chicken and mushroom chicken -- just as they were running out of mushroom chicken. The girl behind the counter assured him it would be right out and she would bring it to him. 10 minutes later, she brought it. It was hot -- but 10 minutes is not exactly "right out". And instead of the heaping mound of the entree he was expecting, it was a little saucer, barely covered. It seems to me that if you make somebody wait that long -- you'd at least make sure they got a full portion. I've only ever been to 1 other Panda Express, but I will say this one is laid out in a much more accommodating arrangement. There are lots of tables, but still plenty of room to walk. All in all, good enough -- but there are so many really good places in Salem to grab lunch, I suspect we will not be back.

This Panda Express wouldn't let me order a meal, and NOT get the side dish. I wasn't asking for MORE of the entrees to make up for not getting the side dish, I just didn't want their side dish. If this is the policy, it's a really dumb one. I won't be eating at another Panda Express again, ever. Their food just isn't good enough to put up with stupid policies. Also, they don't tell you when you order, but they charge extra for certain entrees. I didn't find this out until I looked at our receipt, and they had charged extra for the orange chicken with bacon. Charging the fee is fine, but customers need to know about any extra charges up front.
