More like Muchas Grossia's. I had the carnitas burrito. I only ate half as it was EXTREMELY GREASY! ABOUT 4 hours after consuming the burrito I became nauseated. I projectile vomited several times. The next day I had diarrhea all day.

You get what you pay for here, in the same vein as other Mexican fast food joints, but I'm not happy with the service or product. Chicken burrito was very salty and my wife found some gristle on her nachos. Gal taking the order was mouthy, and needs to turn around to yell the order to the cook and not yell it in my face. Won't be back.

I had the two enchiladas, which comes with rice and beans. The enchiladas were ok, the staff were somewhat friendly. But, the refried beans were almost cold, and grayish in color. Yuck. That being said, if you're looking for cheap Mexican food late at night, this would be the place to go, maybe just for a burrito or some tacos though.

The best quesadillas can be found at this Muchas--and it all has to do with the cheese they use. It's the closest to real cheese that I've found (at a MG). Fast, cheap, and highly addictive. Get them with lots of green sauce.

Very tasty tacos and the best Spanish rice I've ever had. Reasonable prices for food and spendy prices for soft drinks. I enjoy the salsa bar, the choices are terrific.

Favorite late night munchy food! Prices are reasonable and I love their burritos and nachos. Extra green sauce please...

Oregon Burrito all the way, and I recommend trying it deep-fried one of the times, their breakfast burritos are excellent as well overall it's a pretty great little restaurant.

BEST Muchas Gracias EVER. The food is far superior to all others and the staff is just wonderful!

Greasy, over priced, and bland. My burrito was full of fatty meat and very boring guacamole. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but no need for a hazmat suit. We were disappointed with our experience here , but if the taco trucks are all shut down for the night this place stays open late!

Muchas Gracias has never done me wrong. Food's fast, cheap and good. There are other Mexican places I like, but Muchas is closer to my home and satisfies my craving just fine. I like ordering their churros, which are fried to order. I also like their potato tacos; the potatoes melt in your mouth and go great with the crispy tortilla shell. One thing I personally dislike is that their meat burritos are stuffed with the filling of your choice, without balancing it with other ingredients like rice or beans. For example, if you order a carne asada burrito, 98% of the contents is carne asada, the rest is guacamole. If you're a big meat eater, definitely give them a try.

I'm always a fan of Muchas Gracias. It meets my value/quantity/quality/availability criteria really well. For $4-5, you get a pretty solid burrito that is filling and that you can get at almost any hour of the day. It's not gourmet eating, but it is pretty good for less than 5 bucks. You can't go wrong with the Oregon Burrito, and I'm a big fan of the breakfast burritos as well.

It's actually pretty good most of the time. The folded shredded beef tacos are tasty.... When not completely over cooked. The tortas are usually decent and the Oregon burrito is good. They are just very inconsistent in quality and especially customer service. Almost seems like they are just living on the reputation built by muchas years ago, when it was much better. Not a bad place, just lacking in some areas. Still a great stop on the way home from the bars

Had a late night craving for some decent tacos, rice and beans so Muchas worked out really well in satisfying my craving. Although they are not as good as La Hacienda Real, they aren't as bad as Taco Bell or Jack N Box. The shells aren't the preformed corn tortilla like stuff; they're actual home made taco shells and come with beef, cheese, and lettuce. I always ask for a couple of their little red sauce things to pour onto my tacos so I can get a "tomatoie" taste going on (since they don't add tomatoes.) Tonight for some reason the rice was extra good. Usually their rice is dry and unseasoned but whoever cooked this batch did a good job cause it was moist, seasoned just right, and delicious! The beans were same as always...but hey...they're beans. My only wish is that they would be a bit more generous with their rice and beans. They seem to be a bit stingy with their scoop of either or, and this happens at all of the Muchas I have been too so it must be something within their franchise. Maybe they could let them use a bigger scooper.

Really wanted to write a good review for muchas but I just can't there's only certain items on the menu that are worth trying. I usually get the shrimp burrito which is sometimes good but their food is really inconsistent and their carne asada is really grissaly like they use really cheap cuts of meat. And their chicken tastes boiled and flavorless.

Cafeteria style service and seating with windows that You let You focus on Your food and idly watch traffic. Dining areas are clean and wide open. Self serve soda fountain. Unfortunately, I just can't get past the carne asada burrito and Mexi fries to let You know what I think of any of their other offerings! It just works too well for me to make it to anything else on the menu!

This is pretty much like all the other Muchas Gracias locations... generic. It's certainly not the worst Mexican food I've ever had, but it's also far from the best. My family enjoys this place but I think it's mostly due to its within-walking-distance location from us. The fish tacos are bearable, but the rest of the menu is pretty boring. Taco Bell is actually a little better, IMHO.

This is what I'm talking about!!!!! I ordered an Oregon burrito with sour cream (con crema). It was perfect variety of carne asada, potatoe, pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream. It's been well over 6 years since I've eaten at muchas and it was everything I've wanted! Enough with the nachos locos crap! If you want a quality burrito, come here!

I like my giant burritos and enchiladas! And they have a drive through. Nice and cheap too :)

I like the entire Muchas Gracias chain around here in Salem. They have decent food, fast service, and very reasonable prices. This particular location is easily the most crowded out of all of the places I've been in Salem. . Muchas Gracias is not as commercialized and generic as some other fast food chains out there. The largely Spanish speaking staff cater to even the most authentic food goers and are great at explaining the other food items other competitors don't carry. I recommend the Chuletas (Pork) Burrito and their chicken soft tacos. Just fabulous and worth every bite.

Definitely a let down for me. Although I may have been biased by watching multiple episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, I went to muchas gracias craving some cheap although better-than-taco-bell Mexican food. Ordered the chicken and beef enchilada combo, ended up served with pork and possibly beef enchiladas, cubed meat, tasteless sauce, and a bad stomach ache that night. The other person I was with ended up with an equally terrible meal. The place was clean, pretty empty, and cold! Not going back, not sure what the other reviewer was eating but from now on I'll stick to taco bell or real Mexican restaurants, nothing in-between like muchas gracias. UPDATE: My roommate chipped his tooth on a taquito from Muchas Gracias last week. How much worse can you get?

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
