Do not come here if you expect competence and service, come here if you want to be surrounded by morons... Came in put our name on the list, then either the dummy with tattooed eyebrows crossed our name off the list or one of the stellar servers did, had to wait an additional 15 minutes for a table, then eyebrows realized what happened and sat us without giving us a server... We waited another 25 minutes or so while watching servers clean tables and walk by us multiple times, only when we decided to leave did one of the dummies come up to our table to take out order. This place should be demolished...

The cook(s) don't put any care into the food. I ordered my eggs over easy and they came out with hard yolks. They don't even turn the sausage which burns one side and leaves the other side nearly raw. My wife's eggs and French toast were cold. Where is management? Is anybody watching the food that comes out?

After yesterday morning, Shari's has become our new favorite sit-down full breakfast shop. Fast, friendly service, good food and reasonable prices. And healthier choices too. That's important to use both. Rose had the Spring Spinach Omelette and I had the NW Veggie Quiche. Both were great, and so was the coffee! "Rose's Cafe" #rosescafe1 rosescafe1.blogspot.com

Me and my boyfriend used to go here a couple times a month but we stopped because the food takes FOR EVER!!!! to get to you even when they're not busy we expect AT LEAST a 30 min wait for our food and they usually get one of the orders wrong and I got the same thing every time. More then once my eggs came out nearly raw and cold. When we ask the waitress for something like a pie shake (we usually had the same girl every time, younger, skinny with longish dark brown hair) it takes her like 15-20 mins to make it and we can see her just standing around instead of making the shakes or getting the sauce or whatever its ridiculous! I think the biggest thing that made me not want to eat here anymore was on Valentines day when she reached across the table and shoved her boobs in my boyfriends face just to grab the sauces... No. That's not okay. If it have to risk putting your boobs in someone's face or some similar situation just suck it up and ask the customer to hand it to you OR wait till they leave. Its not like anyone else needed those sauces because we were the only ones there!

Horrible service! We have gone to this restaurant many times and this year it took a dive. On 3 different occasions we've waited an incredible amount of time for service (25+ minutes) and even longer for the check. Our food was cold last time AND the waitress was horribly rude. Never going back!!

We wanted to have some food after a late check-in to Motel 6, and this restaurant was very close to the motel. The quality of food and the price were much better than expected. Fortunately we chose here over some typical fast food restaurants that were farther away. Overall, price was affordable, staff was friendly, food was not bad at all. Oh, they are open 24 hrs.

We've had good breakfasts here, but we were less satisfied with dinner this time. My beer was served with a warm glass, right out of the dishwasher. Our server, Julie, was good enough to notice and offered to cool the glass with ice. The salad came lukewarm. But the nacho appetizer was the low point. The chips, cheese, and condiments were microwaved and served lukecold. The cheese had stiffened and the chips were softened by the microwaving. Too bad, because the ingredients were quite tasty, just poorly prepared. I thought maybe the kitchen staff had made an order earlier and just reheated it to save waste, but I was told this is Shari 's standard method for making nachos. The manager advised us that we could ask to have them prepared from scratch. If you order them, be advised to ask for the fresh, not microwaved version. The entrees, Cuban Street Sandwich and Alaskan Cod with Chips, we're better. They deserve an average rating. The pies looked exceptional. Too bad we didn't leave room. Summary, the average to below average fare would earn 2 stars, but the 3rd star is to Julie's credit for good service and friendly, helpful rapport.

Had the Shari's standard breakfast with pancakes and turkey bacon. Really tasty. Eggs over easy done perfectly, not too greasy. Coffee was surprisingly good- a decent strength, unlike typical diner dishwater coffee. Coffee is important to a satisfying breakfast which is why I give Shari's 4 stars for brekkie.

I've eaten here a few times and have never been impressed with the food. It's mediocre at best -- certainly nothing special. I last ate at Sari's yesterday and ordered an omelet, along with hash brown potatoes and an English muffin. The omelet was just okay, but the hash browns had an unpleasant flavor and the muffin was thin and unlike any other English muffin I've ever eaten. I finished off my meal with a slice of strawberry pie, and was disappointed. It was a small slice, contained only three ripe strawberries, along with another that was so under-ripe that I couldn't cut through it. This piece of pie consisted mostly of crust and whipped cream. I will not be eating here again.

I give it a solid 3 stars. It's good not great. Good for lunch and better for breakfast. We have been here before mostly for the breakfast which are good. Once for dinner and that was not good. It is clean and the service has been good. I will probably come back. My husband loves the stuffed hash brown's. Pies are very good and a large selection. Enjoy!

free wifi, used an entertainment coupon for a buy 1 get 1 free breakfast when two beverages are purchased. Honored coupon even though it was weekdays only. Place was packed on Saturday morning. Lots of cream and berry pies. Place was packed on a road trip up to Portland, OR. Food is better than Denny's and the place has an exit with a large parking lot off the freeway. Always like to dine at Shari's when they are around.

Waited 35 minutes before they brought 2 salads which were not prepared correctly and then told us that our main dish was no longer available. Disappointing because we usually like Shari's.

24hrs ! Sure, this place is not gourmet, but do I really care at 11:30pm when the only other thing open is the freeway? The food was quite good and the marrionberry pie milkshake was awesome! Pick and pie and they'll throw a slice in the blender along with a milk shake!

Meh. Not a bad representation of Shari's, not a great one either. Food was decent, bathroom was nice (although could use a deep cleaning), staff was mediocre. Not rude, but not real friendly or warm. Asked for a booster seat for Kid 1 twice ... never got it. Got a high chair for Kid 2 (baby) though. Our server had no trouble getting whatever Hubby asked for, and paid plenty of attention to Baby, but basically ignored me & Kid 1. When I took Kid 1 to the bathroom and then to the car, Hubby told me staff were all over him & Baby. That kind of sexism - treating a daddy with a baby or kid like gold and ignoring a mom with a baby or mom with a kid - seriously irks me. Ummm, are good dads really that rare? Should I be treated as less than because my partner helps me with the kids rather than me taking care of both so he can eat in peace (or whatever they thought I should have done differently)? I think it was subconscious, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I think the staff need to get a crash course in customer service and empathy, and they'll be fine.

Great side salad, good service, unfortunately food was cold, veggies would not melt butter and gravy was congealed and cold. salmon was cold, dried out and inedible. second time we have been disappointed and will not return.

After waiting about ten minutes to be seated, finally got a table, another ten minutes to have our drink orders taken, ordered food, took another 45 min. Food arrived was lukewarm and one of the orders was " forgotten". When we talked with manger she acted like we were trying to pull something , my husband stated several times we wanted nothing "free", just thought they should know about the customer service that was horrible, they don't care. I will take our hard earned money and spend it where they do care.

Great food. I ordered country fried steak and it didn't disappoint me. It was tender and good! Place is clean and service was ok. I gave it 4 star since salmon and ny strip steak was not available. Best it is next to the hotel and 24 hr open. Talk about great location!

Typically I haven't been impressed with Shari's restaurants in the past but after being on the road all day I didn't want to drive around anymore and this one was in the same parking lot as the motel I was staying at. That being said, this one was pretty good. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The staff was all very friendly despite how busy they were with an almost full restaurant.

The Meat Lovers Breakfast Skillet I ordered was excellent! I've ordered this same breakfast at the Bend, Oregon location several times over the years but the meat was almost always over cooked and a little salty for my palette, still a great meal to start my day but nothing compared to the treat I had at the Roseburg restaurant. My sunny side up eggs were cooked to perfection and all the ingredients in my skillet looked fresh not leftovers. my wife said the coffee was yummy and plenty in the pitcher for her to drink with her meal. The waitress we had at the Roseburg restaurant was cheerful and attentive, I felt as though our needs were her primary concern which is rare at any business these days, refreshing. My wife enjoyed her meal as well, when she indicated she would pass on the toast that comes with her order our waitress offered her a fruit plate in lieu...that just floored me, it actually looked like a meal all by itself, blueberries, grapes and watermelon chunks with orange wedges, she enjoyed the fruit plate as much as the Corned Beef Hash breakfast order. I rarely leave food on my plate but I just couldn't eat it all. I will recommend this location to my friends because of the value for my buck, the friendly atmosphere and good tasting food. If I had three thumbs they would all be turned upwards.

Pleasantly surprised. Really! There's not a Shari's in the world I would give over three stars and most, one or two. However, this one deserves some Kudos. Very clean. Bathrooms? Clean! Parking lot? Clean! In fact, an employee was spied cleaning the parking lot of... not trash, there was none.... leaves! It was near spotless. Service? Standard. Nothing special. Food? Same as always. It was breakfast. "Eggs are Eggs". However, the Sunrise Special for $6 filled me up and seemed a bargain. The Sourdough toast is weak though. Order something else. Extremely.... AVERAGE. But that's ok.

This is a review for the bathroom at the Shari's Restaurant, not the food as I didn't eat there. It is part of my "Are We There Yet? Potty Breaks on the 5" Yelp list. This bathroom is amazing. It has: -Potpourri -Real lotion bottles -An insanely clean changing table -Smells like cinnamon Best bathroom experience yet!

Driving on I5 for hours through the night, I was looking for a good place to sit down, rest a little and feed the family. This place is awesome for breakfast. We had pancakes, waffle, omelet, and some eggs with toast. Everyone was happy with their food. I would've given 5 stars but our waitress was hiding her smile to the point that we stopped looking right at her to preserve our appetite. Maybe she just had a rough night; try and leave it behind when you're serving food. I recommend this place :)

Absolutely 4 Stars for being 24 hours and having a nice dining area and friendly staff. The food was mediocre and I would definitely love to modify the menu because there are things that simply should not be on food. My cousin's plate was drowned in pecan glaze and I wasn't very thrilled with my meal but I did order about 4 iced teas back to back as I waited for my meal!

It's in the parking lot of the Motel 6. Very convenient. We needed breakfast. I just wanted two eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I found it and ordered it. The meal was quick and hot. The eggs were perfect, but the bacon was burnt. I would have like some more hash browns, but oh well. You can play Keno in the restaurant. A plus? Maybe.

Good breakfast place right near hotels and freeway at northern most exit to Roseburg off I-5. Prices are reasonable, but the best is the attentive staff and very good dishes. We split cheeze and ham omelet and side of bacon and were filled up just fine. Coffee was great, too.

When it's 40 degrees outside, and gray, and the constant Oregon drizzle is getting you down, waking up to Shari's breakfast is a nice way to start the day. And those stuffed hash browns with sour cream and cheddar cheese, well, they're to die for or from. Lots of calories, lots of fat, and Lipidor should tread lightly around here.

Very fast and good service - never an empty coffee cup! The food overall is pretty good - somethings are a lot better than others, but the pie is OUTSTANDING!!!! Be sure and save room for the pie and if you are too full - get it to go - you will really enjoy it later. The staff is excellent and really tries hard to please. I almost always stop at a Shari's when traveling throughout Oregon. Shari's and Elmer's are great and you can always count on good service and good food.
