The clam chowder was amazing !!!!! Service was on point didn't talk our heads off but made sure we had what we needed. Will be back for sure. Had the chowder, steamer clams, and garlic bread everything was great.

I ate there a few days ago while passing thru town. ordered the 1/2 lb. burger, and six small pre frozen onion rings . not good at all it came with a weak tasting sauce, one leaf of lettuce and a slice of tomato for $10.50. WE also ordered the seafood combo .All frozen pre- battered .one very small piece of cod, a hand full of small rubber -like clam strips, four over breaded small shrimp, coleslaw and there " world famous chowder" the chowder was awful and tasted like it was from frozen concentrate. way to much money for fast food tasting food.

We were in town for a work project, and went here the night we came into town. Reedsport is pretty limited on restaurants, but we asked the hotel desk clerk if this was good, and she said the fish and chips 'were to die for'. With that, we gave it a shot. The clam chowder was great, but I would rather eat frozen fish sticks than the greasy, over breaded fish that we got here. And the waitress was not the most friendly, despite our attempts to be as friendly as possible. Needless to say, we won't eat here again during the week we are in town.

Went there over the weekend as we were passing through . Sign said breakfast daily and were told they don't serve breakfast anymore. It was a little before noon so we went ahead and ordered lunch. Hubby had a buffalo burger and he said it was good but it was super sloppy and fell apart. I had chicken fried steak and it was ok. It was not homemade though but the gravy was excellent and so were the garlic butter red potatoes and homemade biscuit that came with it. Its not the best food but its not the worst either. Menu was pretty small but prices were ok.

Wow this place was great , best chowder on the coast, the waitress said she had worked at several places up and down the coast a she thought it was the best ! The fish and chips and salmon sandwich was top shelf!!

We went in for the10$for 15$ worth of food and she only took10$ off the meal even though I paid 10$ for the discount. I tried explaining they were supposed to take 15$ off since I already paid 10$. They had no clue how the discount worked and the lady kept telling me I was wrong and that she was somehow being nice by giving me 10$ off. So basically I got no discount and told I was stupid. The burgers were bland. The onion rings and chicken fried steak were still cold since they're frozen, not scratch. The waitress was sweet though and my son ended up throwing up in their parking lot (ate too fast and I feel bad because we couldn't clean it up) so I give them 2 stars.

Stopped here for lunch on my way down the coast. Cool harbor location and a fantastic shrimp salad. I'll be stopping again on my way back north! Just a couple blocks off 101 in Winchester bay. My waitress was great !

I have eaten here in the past. The breakfasts were very good. We stopped by for breakfast then informed breakfasts were only going to be served during summer. Ordered the seafood platter. It was horrible and overpriced. The staff could also use some better training. I will never return.

Lots of places along the coast will brag about how they make "the best clam chowder ever", but this place actually delivers with some of the tastiest clam chowder I've ever eaten, and I've enjoyed many different yummy chowders.

The food here is excellent! I had the crabmelt and my husband had the chowder in the breadbowl. Both were awesome! Service was great and the decor was a bit touristy but that's to be expected. Definitely recommended; can't wait to go back!

Right on Hwy 101. Now I've been on this Hwy from California to Washington state. Good luck finding a good place to eat at... The chowder is great but the "special" potato with ham soup was not! Guess that's to be expected. I tried the prime rib on croissant but they microwaved it and the roll got very squishy. They have Cascade Glacier ice cream and that's always yummy! They have a good child's menu also. The staff are very nice for sure. The place is clean even the bathroom!

Stopped here Memorial Day on way to Portland. Nice clean diner; enjoyed the chowder and a club sandwich. Waitress was great and I was angry an older couple in a booth next to me tipped her $2 for a $29 meal. They had broken a glass and made a huge mess of their table and floor. She deserved better, so I made it right. I would try lots more on their menu if I lived around here.

Went here for breakfast and found it to be a very nice little restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet, and the menu had a good variety of foods. The corned beef hash wasn't my most favorite, but it did the job. I got to peek at some of the specials they were having later in the day and they sounded pretty good. Overall, a cute little spot in a little town.

OK spot in Reedsport to grab lunch or dinner. The place feels like a local diner with a lot of choices: salads, chowders, fish and chips but also more traditional dishes: cod, beef, chicken... Service can be a bit slow. Portion sizes are huge. Beer and wine are of the lower quality type. In a nutshell, a diner feel with standard food. Prime rib special on Friday night was good.

Joe makes a good bloody Mary! Stuffed bacon cheeseburger is awesome! Halibut sandwich was fresh and adorned with pests aioli. Service was friendly; unpretentious exterior but worth the stop!

Been here several times through the years. The food is good. Clam chowder here is something to try. they offer a wide selection of Pizzas which are above average in my humble opinion. Portions are big so if you're hungry this is the spot to hit. The owner is a great fellow.

To start the chowder was excellent. I ordered the smoked salmon BLT and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever been served. The salmon was so fishy I could smell it before it even made it to the table. Crumbly, wet and likely from a can. Even scrapping it off the sandwich you still couldn't eat it because of the foul smell it left on the bacon. To top it all off the door buzzer is so loud and repetitive walking in or out of the place makes you feel like you've shoplifted and are about to be tackled. So bad.
