Noisy. Indifferent food. Good service and decor but not the place to start a conversation unless you plan to raise your voice. Not going back.

This is a tricky review to write. Clock Tower Pub is the best local place to go for good, dependable food, but ... the atmosphere is more than a little ... lacking. It's a fairly undiscovered joint, so I hesitate to let people know about it, mostly because I want to make sure our booth is always available for us when we get there. Throwing caution to the wind, here's a head's up on Clock Tower Pub. Clock Tower Pub is located just off the on/off-ramp across from Home Depot in Redmond. There isn't a lot of advertising to get you there, and the little mall it's located in is pretty obscure. When you walk into the place it feels like you're in a bowling alley or a 'sports bar' in need of some serious design tips. The bottom line is; it's a neighborhood joint and it's closest neighbor is a liquor store, if you don't count the fitness gym on the other side. The draw for some folks is the pool tables, beer and games (including lottery), and beer (did I say that already?), but for some of us, it's the food. Really. When I mention that it reminds me of people who only read girlie magazines for 'the articles' ... but seriously, it's the food. Here's a confession: We live in the neighborhood. We don't go to the liquor store (very often) and we never (never!) go to the gym, but we're constantly returning to this strip mall to go to Clock Tower Pub for their sandwiches, fried clams, burgers, hot dogs and ... chips. The chips are killer! The fries are okay, but skip those whenever you can and order the chips. You'll be glad you did, and if you're a hot dog fan, you can't go wrong. So, will you find healthy food at the Clock Tower Pub? Probably not, but the sandwiches they make are wholesome and pretty good -- although they do need to invest in some better bread products (and did I mention the chips?). The fried clams are really extraordinary, or they have been the couple of times that I've order them. It's hard to explain, but they're uniquely fresh -- not like those rubbery things you get at most dive bars or chain restaurants. The fish and chips aren't bad either and more recently they have added soups to the menu. But no matter what you order it will arrive at your table steaming hot and ready to eat. My dining partner tends to order a lot of salads, and he really likes the selection of salads offered at this place, but since I'm writing this review I have to tell you -- the salads are not particularly glamorous, but they are fresh and piled high with a variety of fresh toppings. What's the service like you ask? Well, I'd have to say they're pretty on-the-spot, not over-the-top friendly, but they're there when you need them and they're quick to respond. My advice? Don't let the atmosphere put you off ... and don't sit too close to the kitchen (it's a wonder how such good food can come out of that hole-in-the wall, but it does ...). And if you feel like a dive bar is too much of a stretch for your Bendite pub fetish, just consider it a social experiment and give it a try, but save the third booth in for us.

This is by far my favorite bar in Redmond, now. I even have a favorite bartender: Becky, you're awesome. There's almost always a pool table open on weeknights and so far most people are pretty friendly. The food is decent, pretty standard bar fare but good burgers and I always salivate when someone orders a huge plate of nachos. There's also darts, shuffleboard, plenty of seating, an Oregon Ducks theme with a little bit of Beavs thrown in for good measure (check out the bathrooms), and a completely overpriced Jukebox. I took my out of town cousin there, explaining that "Yeah, you probably wouldn't like Timbers, there's antlers on the walls and such" to which she points at the elk heads on the walls at the Clocktower. Well, sweetie, it IS Redmond, Oregon after all!

Great local mellow bar. Good pool tables and cues. Shuffleboard is a BLAST! Everyone is ALWAYS cool; older and younger. Noise level is not high. Great menu. Love this bar, and you will too!

went there for lunch, started with some nachos, that were really good.we got good food for a good price.the staff there made us feel really good and had a few good laughs. They had a lot to offer on the menu.I would highly recommend the Clocktower even if you're just there to shoot some pool and eat nachos. I don't know about kids but from what I understand kids are ok.

We love the food here, and it was our family's regular spot to go for great pub food. As of February 1st, minors are no longer allowed inside. We are greatly disappointed, and we'll need to find a new favorite place. :-(

We called ahead of time and were told kids were OK to bring. Once there, they took our order, charged us, and as soon as the food was brought, they told us "If you are here to get drunk you need to leave". My wife had nothing to drink and I had just ordered my second, small drink when they asked us to leave. They wanted our table and kicked us out because we had kids. Terrible business practice, terrible customer service. Refused to talk with us when I called to ask about it. Plenty of other places in Redmond that offer good service, so I would avoid this place.

Where to start with this one. The list is long and not good! This place has the ABSOLUTE WORST service I have ever seen. The night time bartenders, mainly the older short lady, are rude and pathetic. If I were the owner I would fire her on the spot. She will stand behind the bar and carry on a conversation with someone while people stand there waiting for a drink. If you happen to play video lottery and win, I feel bad if she is the one cashing your ticket. She will ignore you till she absolutely has to wait on you, then she will scowl as though she is paying you out of her own pocket. Another shining moment for this place....don't plan on going out for an evening here because even though the sign says open till twelve, they never are. Tonight and the other two times I have been there, they have done last call between 9 and 10 every time. Tonight there were over 20 people in the bar, all paying customers having a good time and she did last call and told everyone she was closing in 45 minutes. Really? On a Friday night with that many people? This place is a waste of time and will never again see my business or that of anyone I talk to.

"Conveniently located" across 6th St from Home Depot. The people there are friendly, the art is golf-themed prints (funny ones), the ambiance is definitely "bar". We eat there from time to time, particularly when we're in the mood for a very fine burger. Usually, I get the jalapeño burger, which is quite spicy and very flavorful. Highly recommended if you are craving bar food: Not health food, no bones about it, and it tastes just fine. Reasonable prices too.

Must admit we entered not quite knowing what we were getting; turns out this is a sports bar...no clock tower to be seen. We ordered a Ruben and a pulled pork sandwich. The ruben turned out to be one of the best we've had. A nice crust on the bread so not soggy like one may find. The pulled pork could have used more BBQ sauce, but that may be personal preference. One can tell this is a local favorite, but the staff made us feel welcome.

Best burgers in town and the atmosphere is great. Service is quick and friendly. The Patty melt and Reuben are delicious and sides are tasty as well. Nice little neighborhood pub!

Note that this review is based on my personal preferences only. Not great, but not bad either. Kind of meh..... brew selection - geared toward what I call fizzy yellow beer. Only 3 "micro" brews and Inversion was closest to an IPA. We had the fish and chips - good that they were halibut, but the breading was overpowering for my taste. Fries were OK. There were a lot of people there, so the place is popular, but just not my thing. We keep trying to find something on par with our favorite Redmond go-to place (Cross Creek), but not having success yet. Again, all of this is based on personal preference
