Please note: They are closed from 2-4:30 during weekdays - The pizza is really, really good - you'd hope so considering the name of the place. The hummus with chicken superb - the 9 and 11 year old boys who came into the place with an attitude of "I just want pizza" were fighting their mom to have more and more of hers. The dolmas disappeared in complete silence so she wouldn't have to share. My wife saw what was happening and just kept her comments about the chicken gyro she had to herself.... She thought it was really quite good. The staff behind the counter was friendly, patient, eager to help us sort through the menu and could see we were a thirsty bunch and brought a couple of pitchers of water so we could serve ourselves. While the place is a far stretch from "white tablecloth", it's very comfortable, being as close as you are to the food being cooked you can smell the delights that are coming your way. We didn't wait long and the food came streaming out. I'll be going again - and while the pizza is top notch, I will be exploring their other food options. Keep the fussy kids happy with pizza and get something unique and special for you and the wife.... but be careful, your kids may try to horn in on your food if you let them taste it.

I'm not typically a falafel person, but I took a chance with the falafel hummus wrap here and was not disappointed. I went over my lunch break on a week day and I was the only one in the restaurant at 12:30. The owners are extremely nice and I could see her whipping up my food in the open kitchen while I waited. It was ready in about 10 minutes. Everything was warm, fresh and extremely tasty. I reallyyyyy hope this place gets busier than it was when I was there. It's delicious, authentic food and a mom and pop shop this good deserves to do well here. I really want to go back and try some other things on the menu. The pizza and calzones look amazing. I would highly recommend this for a quick lunch in the area. They also deliver! I may order a pizza from them this weekend.

This place is awesome! Stamp it on my forehead, this is the best hummus and fresh pita in town. I walked in because I was I. The area and had a friend recommend it to me. It's kind of hidden in the strip mall but the smell of fresh pita lead me to the doors. Walking in a had a nostalgic feeling of being in an east coast pizzeria. The owner gave me a warm and happy welcoming smile and have me her best recommendations. I ended up going with the chicken and hummus which I HIGHLY recommend. The food was fast, fresh, and with large portions. Very satisfied. It was also very inexpensive. Under $10 for my whole meal! And the best part? The owner gave me free baklava just for being a first timer. How's that for an incentive to come in? Give these locals your business. They've earned mine.

I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.

The Lebanese Chicken Pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff are wonderful. I've eaten here a few times and they treat me like family. The hummus is amazing. Very generous with the awesome pita bread. The location is a little hidden and may look a little run down from the outside. That's just the building. It's always clean inside and the food is fresh.

Second visit to Tigard Pizza Kitchen brought an even more pleasant experience. Have become so fond of this small father and son operation. Eating here is like dining in someones home. The kitchen is within view and the owners come out to check if you're satisfied with you meal. My bill came to $25.15. The owner told me to forget about the fifteen cents. Later he came to our table with a basket of chips and told us to help ourselves. The Gyros sandwiches at Tigard Pizza Kitchen are superb. Deliciously seasoned lamb or chicken with yogurt. The gyros are so big that they're practically a meal in themselves. The pizzas are consistently excellent. Tigard Pizza Kitchen uses the most delicious cheeses I have ever had on a pizza. One reviewer felt that a pizza place is probably not a good place to go for Mediterranean food. I couldn't disagree more. Pizza fits very nicely into the Mediterranean theme of the Tigard Pizza Kitchen. Also pizza ties very nicely into what the Tigard Pizza Kitchen calls "Mediterranean Pies." These are kind of the Middle East's version of Italian pizza. Seems that most every country in the Mediterranean area has their own spin on pizza. As I left Tigard Pizza Kitchen the taste of the lemon flavored chicken lingered on my taste buds and the hospitality of the owners warmed my soul on a cold Tigard afternoon.

So, I love everything about this place. It's this family from Lebanon running this place, they barely speak English and you can just know that whatever you are ordering is going to be awesome, made to order, made with love and your business is what is keeping them able to pay the rent. I ordered a small pizza and a coffee. The pizza was thin crusted, soft and tasty. I have had better pizza, but I certainly have had much worse and I would definitely recommend stopping to eat there for lunch. They also have some other dishes like falafels. The place definitely reminded me of something out of the 80's in New York City. All they needed was a video game machine. My experience was a 10 out of 10. The place just feels real and exactly what you'd expect.

The pizza is so-so, medium crust and lost of toppings, the sauce was ok but overall it just wasn't all that tasty, maybe better than most chains but that isn't saying much. Nice friendly folks though so maybe I'll come back to try their Mediterranean food.

My review is for the Baklava only! I went in on Tuesday, around 530pm. No one was there, understandable because it is before dinner rush, and well after lunch. I came here because I had read great reviews, and had a craving for some fresh homemade Baklava. I walked in, and saw only a couple pieces left in the case. I thought ah yes! This has to be good, there are only a couple pieces left. I ordered 2 pieces, and was on my way..... Later when I was home, and tried it I couldn't even eat it. It was that bad. It tasted like it had been sitting there forever! It had a very icky taste like it had been sitting in an old musty cabinet for weeks! Not sure if that is how it always is, but was a terrible first time. The place is also pretty old, and grungy. Doesn't seem like a clean place overall.

Everything we've ever had is great! Great customer service! Try the gyros! Kids love the pizza & pita. The owners are always there with a friendly smile, they are very inviting. The decor leaves something to be desired. That's what you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you would miss this little gem!

We got take-out gyros for lunch and although they wre good, they either didn't have tzaziki or very little, so it ended up somewhat dry and salty. Not that I will look my nose down at any sandwich with feta cheese, but I thought they should know, so people like me, who are used to the sandwich tasting like tzaziki get what they are expecting.

While on a road trip we Yelped this restaurant about an hour down the road prior to arriving in Tigard. We chose them based on other reviews and were quite pleased! We ordered online while driving, through the Eat24 link provided on Yelp. We asked for the order to be ready based on our GPS arrival time. The pizza kitchen called and confirmed our order and it was ready and waiting when we arrived. Everything was exactly as requested, AND...it was one of the best pizzas we've ever had!!! Definitely will put this one in the navigating favorites and will revisit when in the Portland area again!

I've spent the past year living in a food-wasteland perhaps otherwise known as Tigard. I've searched high and low to find some sort of redeeming foodstuffs in the area. Tigard Pizza Kitchen had made a bleep on my radar due to the Yelp reviews. It turns out to be right across from the home brew store I've shopped at in the past, I had just never noticed the restaurant before. TPK is up the street from where I lived (it was literally under the bridge of hwy99, I was the Tigard troll living under the bridge, on the wrong side of the tracks, ugh) so I figured it would be best to try them before I moved this month. I ordered a pizza, a gyro, and an order of dolmas. The menu has two pizzas that are very similar (I am forgetting the names now); the main difference being that one has mushrooms. We ordered the one without mushrooms. The guy taking our order overheard me say that "mushrooms are gross" and asked if we want our pizza sans shrooms. I let him know that we ordered the one that does not come with them. He looks at the menu to verify and then does not write "no mushrooms" on the ticket (he doesn't need to). When we open the box, MUSHROOMS. All over. Apparently the person making the pizza made the same mistake as the guy taking our order. Oh well. The gyro was a lot more impressive then the pizza. It was fresh tasting and full of the usual ingredients. Messy in a good way. The dolmas on the other hand were GREASY?! Room temperature and covered in oil. My favorite dolmas to eat come from my mom's kitchen, so I'm not sure if the way TPK does it is normal...but to what I am used to...this was gnarly. The rice was all gummy. And oil. Oil everywhere. So to sum it all up: mediocre pizza, cravable gyro, and scary dolmas. Now that I have moved out from under the bridge, I doubt I will be back but if I had tried this earlier on during my stint in Tigard, I probably would have returned.

Found this unassuming restaurant in a strip mall by my work today. Went for lunch and had the falafel with hummus sandwich, which was a suggestion from the cashier. Everything appeared to be homemade, including the pita bread, which was more like a flatbread than the usual pita you will find at most places. Its a family run place, and they seemed genuinely invested in me enjoying my meal. The sandwich didn't blow my tastes buds away, but was very filling and good. There are some other interesting looking things on the menu, so I will be going back.

We decided to go here after we read the reviews. The humus appetizer was amazing. It was served with hot flat bread and we devoured it. We ordered three different pizzas and all of them were good. We will definitely be back. The only missing piece is that they do not serve beer or wine.

Tigard has a lot of little weird places tucked into weird little nooks and crannies, and this is one of the best ones. I can't speak to the pizza, because I haven't been able to get past the falafel. Falafel? at a pizza place? Yup. Both times I've had it take out. In a wrap sandwich, with hummus or baba ganoush. it comes on a pita, with the usual veggies and tahini, and it is the bomb. OMG. Good. I can't spell those things, baba gawhat?... but I can eat them, rapidly and with a happily beating heart and singing head! wow. This is good stuff. I sent my BIL there too, he works nearby, and he likes it a lot. It's a quicker lunch for him than the Barbur World Market deli, which gets backed up at lunchtime. Happy happy hummus eaters, all of us, that's what we are.

Lying about their hours. I came here on my lunch break for work at about 3pm, from the other reviews it looked like a pretty good place to eat. The hours on yelp say it's open from 11-8, so I expected them to be open but they weren't. I just wasted my lunch break because they're closed between lunch and dinner times. Thanks a lot guys.

Pizza and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Favorites. The pizza is one of the best in the Portland area. They have a good selection of toppings. Worth the trip on the 12 bus for great food for decent price. Hummus, grape leaves, falafel all your Mediterranean favorites. Yum! The only drawback one has to remember is this is a family first business. They are not open Sunday and they close really early about 8 or 9 p.m. or so. That is a huge bummer for me who likes to eat late. I come from the east coast where places like this are open until 2 a.m. So the fact that they close so early is disheartening. Oh, another note is that they are hidden away in a strip mall by a large chain fabric store. You have to walk down the hallway in the corner to find it. So one kinda has to search for this little place. I heard they now have their own delivery service at limited times? So take note. *Best Calzone we ever had! You can get it mediterranean style. Yum!

I have have seen this place many times, driving by, but never had a chance or time to actually stop by and order their pizza. I am glad I did this time, I was here with 2 friends, The pizza was delicious, the crust was perfect, the perfect thickness, not too thick nor too thin that it breaks, and it did not become soggy, like most local pizzas do. We also tried and shared the Gyro Pizza Calzone, wow, an explosion of flavors, quite garlicky, with lamb, feta, and their very tasty sauce. And then we tried the Mediterranean veggie pizza, which was also very good. They also have quite a few Mediterranean starters, like Falafel and Baba Ghanouj and Pitas and stuff. They are really nice and warm and welcoming, and graceful, they make you feel like you are part of the family, very friendly environment. The down side is maybe the menu items are quite pricey, but I still think the place deserves 5 stars and we will definitely be back to try more items from the menu!

In my search for decent Gyros in the SW Portland/ Tigard/ Tualatin area I came across Tigard Pizza Kitchen. My first visit was on a Sunday. They were closed. I made a sad face and went on my way. I returned later in the week for take out lunch. We have returned once or twice a week every week since. so far we have had the hummus, babaganough (i can't spell), gyros, dolmas, cheese steak, Lebanese chicken pizza, Greek salad, and that might be it. Anyways, everything so far has been really good. They use their pizza dough or something similar for the freshly baked flat bread that comes with your hummus or other tasty delights. The owners are also super friendly. Besides being clsoed on Sundays this place is great!

Notice that most of the positive reviews are for Mediterranean food. Haven't tried it, only the pizza. And the PIZZA was BAD. Tried this place twice. The second time we asked for thin crust because it was otherwise too thick. We asked for more pizza sauce because it was too thin and lacked flavor. Finally, we asked more MORE toppings because our combo was very light on all the toppings (meats and veggies). None of the shortcomings were improved on the second visit. Our group of eight people ALL agreed, this is very weak pizza...poor sauce, very little toppings, dough too thick even after we asked, and asked for more sauce and toppings. Pizza is clearly their weak spot. Perhaps the other foods are good. But we do not plan on going back to find out. Way too many good places to eat.

"Why haven't we ordered from here before?!" The crust was great; no burnt garlic powder flavor like one of the national chains. It's my personal opinion that if a restaurant can nail the basics then they're A-Okay. True to form, the cheese calzone was deliciously simple, and you could tell that they used quality ingredients on the pepperoni pizza. We'll definitely order again; they're taking over the speed dial assignment for pizza in our house!

Looks like other Yelpers have had good experiences here. We were extremely disappointed. Perhaps the Kitchen was having an off day. I brought my dad here because he loves gyros. He was visiting from overseas and I wanted to treat him to something he can't get at home. He ordered a large gyro because he was especially hungry. It was expensive ($11). Had it been delicious and sufficient in size, we would have been happy. Instead, it had hardly any meat. The only thing large was the wrapper. I couldn't ascertain how the taste rated. My dad, having grown up during a time of war and food shortages, couldn't get over the skimpy portion. Further, it took an extremely long time to prepare. Dad had a sad face, which of course gave me one too.

This is a hole-in-the-wall pizza place that also serves Mediterranean food. One of my favorites was the "gyro pizza" topped with lamb, feta cheese, and tomato, and sliced into strips for dipping in tzatziki sauce. I haven't been there for a while, but on my latest visit, I found the place was severely lacking in cleanliness. This place has always been on the dumpy side with limited seating, but this time it was just dirty. I even got an unclean glass of water with debris floating in it. The place scores a 100 on health inspections too, so I don't know what the deal is. They don't accept Amex or Discover. Food: 4 Value: 5 Ambiance: 1 Service: 4 TL;DR: Good Mediterranean food, total dive location

Best gyro I have had in years Grew up with a close friend whose family cooked the most amazing Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This hands down beats third, sorry. The staff is amazing and nice. They were so sweet and personable. Amazing sandwiches too

Their lebanese breakfast items are amazing. They have flat bread with herbs on it toasted in an oven then they sprinkle cheese on top of that. They are very generous with their portions and the price is right. They always offer complimentary vegetable plates with their Food. Highly recommend their gyros

TPK has become our default 'i'm too lazy to cook' meal. Pretty much everything here is very, very good. It's located in the armpit of the run-down stripmall anchored by a JoAnn's store, and the ambiance can err on the side of gritty, but the food is good and that's what matters most. Bonus points for the friendly, polite employees. I usually stick with the explicitly middle-eastern food like falafel, hummus, and dolmas. The akawi cheese pie is simple but delicious. When i stray into more mundane foods, like the pizzas or calzones, it's still good food. The wraps are about 1.5 meals worth of food, and the calzones can easily feed two people, so it's good deal too.

This place is kind of just stuffed away in a sort of run-down looking strip mall, surrounded by freeways and housing developments... I've got to admit, it doesn't look very impressive at first glance. Once you get past the environment, though, you realize that there is some seriously tasty food available here. I've tried several types of pizza, the humus and falafel, and a stromboli sandwich, both of which have been delicious and pretty fairly priced. The ingredients were all good, freshly put together, and the pizza crust was particularly buttery and flaky. I'm definitly going to keep going here... it's awfully convenient for grabbing a quick lunch to take back to the office.

Many other Yelpophiles have wrestled with the Stars to review quotient. A more famous food muse like Don B. put down electric ink asking the question: Do I review food in the same category or Just this place? I'd also like to add, do I weigh the service? If you've ever read my reviews, which I don't expect anyone to put themselves through that kind of torture, you might notice I rarely weigh in on service. If the food is good they basically have to destroy the rest of the meal to tarnish my write up with bad service. Consequently I don't give high ratings for incredible people alone, if I did TPK would have 5 stars. The owners are going to greet you at the door, maybe with long time fan and friend who doubles as the chef. The sights, sounds, and smells will take you in. A free sample of mom's Baklava? Oh YES. These are real people, the Lebanese equivalent of Norma's Kitchen ( yelp.com/biz/normas-kitc… ) Excited by the fresh Baklava, among the best I've had, our group came by for pizza. Laying ourselves down for sacrifice we hoped that this small local shop could deliver the goods on Pizza. Our standards set only by few Portland pizzolio's were high. At the lunch table when our pie arrived we were greeted with crust and toppings that pretty much amounted to a local Papa Murphy's. Albeit they cooked it on site, but I was still looking in the back on the way out for the Papa Murphy's label. The mushrooms and pepperoni were fresh cut, but it couldn't heft the pizza in to 4 stardom. Seeing as how they advertise Pizza, that's where the expectations were set. 3 stars for now based on the one pie try, but perhaps I'll update in the future. Because amen and wow, is their Lebanese food good. This is just an issue of confused branding. I think it's like American food at a Chinese restaurant. The Chinese menu could be foodie utopia, but you bring that one friend or kid with you who just refuses to eat it. Next time I'll know better and I'm going to get some Dolma's and Hummus. :)

First time trying TPK and I was mildly disappointed after reading great reviews. We tried cheesy bread, veggie plate, and Milano pizza. Cheesy bread was great, veggie plate and pizza were so/so. We've definitely had better pizza elsewhere but I am intrigued to come back and try a meat pie and some other Mediterranean foods. Location and space were just fine in fact we prefer smaller ma n pa type places anyway. We will update this review when we get back to try other items on the menu.

This place is truly a diamond in the rough! It's true that it's tucked away in the back of a decaying strip mall in Tigard on HWY99 and Hall, and the place isn't anything to look at, but the food is so good! The people are so nice! The price is so right! They have some excellent Mediterranean food: falafels, hummus, zatar, baba-ganoush, dolomas, fool madamas, etc. Plus, they have the BEST hummus I've ever had... hands down (the owner's wife makes it). I'd say they beat Nicholas Restaurant in taste and quality! I am SOOO glad to have found a good Lebanese restaurant close to our house! I do wish they have majadra rice on the menu, but I asked one of the owners one night and she said if I requested it in advance, she would make it. Cool! Another cool thing about this place is that they have more than just Lebanese food... they have pizza, calzones, gyros, and toasted sandwiches. I was woo'd by the Steak and Mushrooms sandwich and it was gooooood!!! The meat was lightly seasoned (may be the same meat they use in the gyros, but it made for a flavorful sandwich). The pizzas are great and the crust has a bit of a pita bread flavor to it, which I like... it's a bit different, but still delicious pizza! Someone on here compared their pizza to Papa Murphy's. No way! Gack! There's something wrong with Papa Murphy's pizzas... they're always a little tasteless and blah... TPK is totally fresh and flavorful... you can't even compare. The icing on the cake was the fact that the other night there were three of us eating there and one of our party ordered the vegetarian plate, which is a sampler of two each of a few items. The owner saw there were three of us at the table and put in an extra of each item so we each could have one. Wow! How about that... I reserve my 5-star ratings for places that either have a really unique aspect about them that makes them rise above the rest, or for a place that does something 'standard', but they do what they say they do, they do it exceptionally well, and they take care of their patrons. TPK is in the latter, and they do it deliciously!

This place is so good! The gyro's are amazing. The dolmas are delicious. The pizza is yummy. Go and support a small family run business. You can tell they love their customers! It's not a fancy place, but the food is amazing.

This has been one of my regular lunch spots for a couple years now and I've never been disappointed. Despite its obscure location down a side-branch of a lackluster strip mall; it seems to do a fair amount of business - a testament to the quality of the food and service. As previously mentioned, it's family-owned/staffed and I'm always greeted warmly. There is something very genuine about the owners that makes me feel great about coming here. The food is very reasonably priced and there's lots of options (although I almost always get the lamb gyro for $4.99. Yum). I always walk out with my spirits lifted and a delicious bundle of food. Why would you patronize any of the corporate fast-food drive-thrus on Hwy. 99 (ok, I admit, I do frequent the nearby Starbucks drive-thru) for over-processed mystery-ingredient "food" when you could support a local small business with lovely owners? This place is truly a hidden gem.

The food here is always great. Especially the pizza. And I'm not talking "oh that was nice" good, I'm talking about pizza so good you feel high from it afterwards. You gotta come in and try it. Hummus and pita is always so fresh too to the point that the pita bread is still ballooned with steam.

Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!

This is a family run restaurant, and all of the staff we worked with were great, friendly, and happy to help us. It is pretty small, with about four booths and two or three small tables, ambiance is a little lacking though, but don't let that turn you away! (you will miss the phenomenal food!). Walking into the warm pizziness of the the place was a great benefit as we are having one of the cold-windy-sunny snaps in Portland and it was an excellent place for a quiet mid-day meal. There is a cooler selection for a favored beverage, and they appear to have a lot of items to select from. We ordered several things to try. The Falafel with Tzakziki was hot and large, as well as a great starter. We also ordered a Gyro with Lamb and a five ingredient calzone. The Gyro with lamb was well done, but that calzone we ordered was something else! The crust, usually a pizza crust anywhere else, was light and flaky; Just completely awesome! The calzone was full (packed-bursting-loaded) full of great stuff and was so big it could have fed three, it was a winner! We also got a Cheese and Pepperoni pizza to go and it was also a winner, the crust was not old school and solid, but was a superb thin crust with just the right texture and cooking. There were folks fighting over the crusts when we got home, (yes they were that good!). We found out they also deliver, and do large catering events, so if you are looking for something close and excellent, this is a great choice! Pricing was excellent, and portions were a bit on the big size, so make sure to be ready to share. If you are looking for a great take away or delivery, I would suggest this place above almost all of the rest in this area of Portland-Tigard.

The pizza reminds us of home, it's fresh, delicious and the cheese and crust is just right. The owner was very kind and helpful. Looking forward to trying out their salads, gyro and pretty much everything else on their menu. I just wish they were open late but other than that, no complaints.

Neat little local pizza joint. The owner is a really nice man. The crust is obviously freshly made and really tasty. My wife and I shared a calzone with chicken, black olives, and jalapeños. It was quite good, and the price was reasonable.

This establishment was GREAT. The food was awesome and the owner's hospitality was awesome too. My wife and I had the gyro pizza and the hummus with lamb. Daughter is a vegan and she ordered the vegetarian . Dolmas, hummus, and falafel. Excellent! Owner accommodated her by giving her cucumbers and tomatoes. My wife and I enjoyed the 2 pieces of full pita breads that came with her meal.. Son is allergic to milk, so he ordered a sausage, mushroom, and olive pizza. Great portions, wonderful pizza. All our food came out hot. A huge plus. We let the owner know we were staying in a motel and he helped us with lates, etc... Go here if you have a chance. What a treat!

Was home sick, decided to treat myself for lunch. "Feed a cold, feed a fever, feed a hangnail," my ma used to say. So I mulled over my delivery options and opted for Tigard Pizza Kitchen. I have about five delivery options at the noon hour for my sector, so why Tigard? One of the very few places I have found in Portland that offers sliced green olives as a topping, and that's one of my toppings of choice. I used d-dish.com for delivery, which adds a wallop to the price of a pie. This medium, with delivery and tip, topped $30. That's a chunk of change for pizza. But to the meat of the matter. This pie suits my taste. It's a little more doughy than I prefer, but acceptable. Real cheese, mild sauce, and hand pulled chunks of Italian sausage. Those joints that use "crumbles" I cross off my list. We've been into TPK once before, and in addition to pizza, they have a full line of Middle Eastern foods, including some great hummus.

Gyro Pizza is amazing. This place is great. The owners are really friendly and the food always hits the spot. Delivery is kinda expense because they contract the service, but I don't mind calling ahead and picking up to chat with the staff. As others have mentioned, the complex they are located in isn't the best, but that should not stop you from walking in and getting some of the best local pizza in Tigard.

This place is awesome! The baba ghanouj is amazing and the falafel is the best I've had since moving to Portland. They deliver for free near my office, so when they came around delivering menus we were on board immediately. Everyone has enjoyed all the dishes they ordered. Coworkers enjoyed the garlic chicken wrap immensely, but we didn't all enjoy their breath, so watch out when eating it! The calzone someone got was huge!! It could easily serve two people. The place is small. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I don't know how long this place has been open, but I'm very sorry I didn't know about it sooner! Eat here. You won't be sorry

We had the Mezzo Plate for two, and it was very good. We had come in for the pizza, which we heard was very good, but decided to have the Mediterranean food. Service was very prompt and very friendly. Don't let the exterior or location dissuade you from going here - the food is very good. Next time we will get the pizza to go, not because of the atmosphere, but because this place doesn't serve beer. Gotta have a beer with our pizza.

We love TPK! This little mom and pop kitchen is a bit hard to find, stuck back in the elbow of a 1960's style shopping center off of Pacific Highway. Their freshly made dolmas are wonderful and huge. Coupled with a Spinach pie, they are one of my favorite lunches. There are only three full size tables, but that's never been an issue. Another favorite is the falafel and hummus wrap. You might want to spit it. My secret regret about Tigard Pizza Kitchen is the lack of lentil soup. It would go so well the rest of their Mediterranean offerings. Now that I think of it, I've never ordered an actual pizza here. I'm sure it would be good, as everything I've tried has been excellent.

Tigard Pizza Kitchen?...... I've never actually had pizza there. We go for the Mediterranean food. They have great gyros, falafel, and baba ghanouj. My wife always gets the zatar (thyme) pie as well as dolmas. The staff are very friendly, and the food is good. There are a few tables if you choose to dine in and the interior is a bit sparce, but they usually have some nice jazz piped in. Location,..well...we call it the" Blade Runner" strip mall. Was probably considered modern and futuristic when it was built long,... long ago. Kind of weird and offbeat split level strip mall with lots of foot traffic whom you expect to overhear talking in "Cityspeak".

My husband and I wanted to go out for pizza with another couple tonight. We had heard Apizza Scholls was great, but when I tried to make reservations yesterday, the earliest time slot was 8:00 p.m. That didn't fit with our plans for the evening, so I started searching for places on yelp closer to where we live in Beaverton. Found Tigard Pizza Kitchen, which is tucked away close to Joann's Fabrics in an older strip mall. The place is nothing to look at, and would definitely qualify as a "hole in the wall," but the owners were friendly, and the four of us shared a 16" specialty pizza (1/2 Milano and 1/2 Greek), and two Caesar Salads for only $34. It was a great deal for really good pizza. We will definitely want to come back to try their Mediterranean dishes. Based on previous reviews we won't be disappointed.

As you will find with most of the reviews for this place, it's all about the falafel. It is a tiny little restaurant tucked way in the back of a run down Tigard strip mall. Once you managed to make it pass the threshold however, you will be transported to an authentic middle-eastern NY or Chicago eatery. I have dined-in a couple of times (there are only 5 tables) but most often I grab a falafel sandwich to go. Authentic cuisine well worth going out of your way to find.

First of all thanks to all the yelpers that led us to this place on a Thurs night when we had no ideas or energy to make our own food. We wanted pizza but just moved to Tigard so didn't know where to go. Despite the Lebanese food reviews I can attest to the fact that they make a really good pizza! Super thin (almost flat) crispy crust, great sauce, not too much cheese, and not too spicy sausage. Our new go to pizza place! And yes, the owners are great- giving my husband hummus samples and walking him through their other food delights while he waited for the pizza. I'm thinking we need pizza aagin....

Was fascinated by reviews of a pizza place that sold Mediterranean food. I was hoping for one of those weird gems that a person runs across once in a while. Turns out it was just as advertised. A pizza place with Mediterranean food. The hummus was good. The gyros were pretty good. The bread was a big disappointment. Basically, it was pizza dough. I didn't try any pizza, and maybe that was my mistake. If you want good Mediterranean food, it seems a pizza place isn't the place to go. Surprise!

We ordered their lamb gyro, chicken gyro and hummus plate. I would say we didn't enjoy their offerings as much as places like Dar Essalam in Wilsonville, Oasis in Beaverton and Nicolas in Portland. Please running the place seemed nice.

Interesting place, had the gyro which was hot on a nice pita with lots of meat. The tzatziki sauce didn't have much flavor though. Not alot of seating, felt like I was back in the 70's. Kitchen was a little disorganizid forgetting some orders etc....

Just went in today!!! Since I saw the reviews I wanted to try the hummus, the dolmas, and the lamb gyros. All I have tried in past was not the real thing, it was like eating mexican food in Chipotle's "yuck". To begin the service was friendly as the other reviewers mentioned they make you feel welcomed and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I wont go into details of each thing that we had since we had so many different dishes. All I shall say is "try it, you will not regret it". Everything was so good and authentic, nice portions we did not leave hungry at all, not over priced and please remember don't be deceived by the place.

This is what food should be about. Good food, good portions, and great staff. The lamb on the hummus plus plate was good and my lunch partner loved the falafel. I can't wait to go back and try a pizza. Note: The outside seating is only on sunny days.

Very good, everything is made in house. The quality of pita is second to none, and the service is excellent. Also, it is quite affordable. This is a hole in the wall in a Tigard strip mall--I was surprised by the quality of the food! I am lactose intolerant....when I asked for a gyro without tziki, the owner recommended that she put some of their home made garlic sauce. It was an excellent suggestion. I think this place is better than Nicolas, Riyadh's, Karam, and Hoddas, but not quite as good as Arabian Breeze.

The food is good, filling and home-cooked. But the service is spectacular. This family owned business is just that- family run, welcoming and warm. Go to enjoy the yummy food and talk with the loving family!

Had a really yummy steak and cheese. The bread was a bit crispy but moist and the steak had a lot of flavor. Also had a personal pizza that had a really good flavor. I will definitely go back and want to try something new.

The Tigard Pizza Kitchen doesn't just offer pizza, but the best homemade Lebanese food you'd never expect to find in a Tigard shopping center. The sweet couple who own the place made us fresh pita while we were waiting, and the vegetarian entrees are out of this world. Oh, and they do catering. delish!

Andy C.
I came for the pizza, but I'm not going back for that. Instead, I'm coming back for some awesome freshly baked bread (light and fluffy pita-style) and delicious hummus. The baklava was good, too, and I think it was home made as well!
(5)

Top notch home-made hummus, Falafel, and Pita. I'm not an expert on Dolma, but they seemed a bit on the oily side, but were delicious nonetheless. I would go back to try some of their other offerings.

WOW! The falafel hummus wrap was so good! As a vegetarian I am a bit limited in my options for restaurants. I saw that this place had several veggie items, including falafel which I love. I stopped by there after work today and got the falafel hummus wrap. It was really, really good. Very fresh and lots of herbs in the falafel. Soft pita bread. The price was reasonable at $7 which includes a small bag of chips. The wrap was pretty big, like a burrito. I don't know much about the place but it appears to be a small family operation. They were really friendly. Only complaint is the location. It's buried in the back of an alley/walkway in a small shopping area off hwy 99. I wouldn't really want to be there at night, but it's not that big of a deal. All in all I really enjoyed my meal and I will definitely come back.

It's a special feeling when you know that you're eating food that has been prepared with love - and that's just what I got at Tigard Pizza Kitchen. The owners chatted us up as they made our fresh pita and rolled our dolmas (some of the best I've ever had), even going so far as to offer free baklava for the road. It may be hard to find, tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall, but the phenomenal food and stellar service are 100% worth it. I made sure to grab some takeout menus on the way out so I could proselytize to my office! Tigard Pizza Kitchen is a diamond in the rough.

I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.

Exactly what I wanted. Growing up on the east coast, there were lots of local pizza places, my favorite one having a Greek flair. LOVE this place and will definitely be ordering again. (Super fast order/delivery too!)

The food here is always great. Especially the pizza. And I'm not talking "oh that was nice" good, I'm talking about pizza so good you feel high from it afterwards. You gotta come in and try it. Hummus and pita is always so fresh too to the point that the pita bread is still ballooned with steam.
(5)
Chris O.

Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!

Best gyros I've had. They are really accommodating with orders but don't skimp on the tzaziki. Ask for extra feta too.

(5)
Brian H.

(4)
Phillip S.

Yum!

This is what food should be about. Good food, good portions, and great staff. The lamb on the hummus plus plate was good and my lunch partner loved the falafel. I can't wait to go back and try a pizza. Note: The outside seating is only on sunny days.

The Tigard Pizza Kitchen doesn't just offer pizza, but the best homemade Lebanese food you'd never expect to find in a Tigard shopping center. The sweet couple who own the place made us fresh pita while we were waiting, and the vegetarian entrees are out of this world. Oh, and they do catering. delish!

I came for the pizza, but I'm not going back for that. Instead, I'm coming back for some awesome freshly baked bread (light and fluffy pita-style) and delicious hummus. The baklava was good, too, and I think it was home made as well!

Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!

I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.

The food here is always great. Especially the pizza. And I'm not talking "oh that was nice" good, I'm talking about pizza so good you feel high from it afterwards. You gotta come in and try it. Hummus and pita is always so fresh too to the point that the pita bread is still ballooned with steam.

We decided to go here after we read the reviews. The humus appetizer was amazing. It was served with hot flat bread and we devoured it. We ordered three different pizzas and all of them were good. We will definitely be back. The only missing piece is that they do not serve beer or wine.

Yum!

not sure how ppl find this place. my GPS took me to a different building. after finally arriving I could see why. its supper hidden. pizza was small and expensive. just average pizza as well. you could make your own better and cheaper and not have to play hide and seek just to find it

I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.
(5)Leslie B.

(5)Chris O.

(5)Laura C.

(3)Brian H.
We decided to go here after we read the reviews. The humus appetizer was amazing. It was served with hot flat bread and we devoured it. We ordered three different pizzas and all of them were good. We will definitely be back. The only missing piece is that they do not serve beer or wine.
(4)Janet M.
(4)Phillip S.

Yum!
(5)April P.

(4)William B.
(2)Jillian D.
(4)Lella L.

(4)Jessica B.
Best gyro I have had in years Grew up with a close friend whose family cooked the most amazing Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This hands down beats third, sorry. The staff is amazing and nice. They were so sweet and personable. Amazing sandwiches too
(5)Esteban J.
Their lebanese breakfast items are amazing. They have flat bread with herbs on it toasted in an oven then they sprinkle cheese on top of that. They are very generous with their portions and the price is right. They always offer complimentary vegetable plates with their Food. Highly recommend their gyros
(5)Tony O.
Love the grape leaves and the pizza is great. Family run and owned. Great food and great people here. Will continue to go since I live close. Always have fresh baklava for desert also.
(5)Dan M.
This place looks unassuming but the food is amazingly good! Fast, reasonably priced, and delicious. You'll be happy you checked this place out!
(5)Kate T.
(5)Matt L.

(3)Angela M.
Excellent Pizza! Don't let the appearance fool you. Best crust I have had in quite awhile :)
(5)Nikki B.
(3)Lee P.
(5)Jenni B.
This place is so good! The gyro's are amazing. The dolmas are delicious. The pizza is yummy. Go and support a small family run business. You can tell they love their customers! It's not a fancy place, but the food is amazing.
(5)Emily D.
(4)Edward E.
The food here is always great. Especially the pizza. And I'm not talking "oh that was nice" good, I'm talking about pizza so good you feel high from it afterwards. You gotta come in and try it. Hummus and pita is always so fresh too to the point that the pita bread is still ballooned with steam.
(5)Rachel J.
Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!
(5)Brandon W.
(5)Celina H.
The pizza reminds us of home, it's fresh, delicious and the cheese and crust is just right. The owner was very kind and helpful. Looking forward to trying out their salads, gyro and pretty much everything else on their menu. I just wish they were open late but other than that, no complaints.
(5)K K.
Exactly what I wanted. Growing up on the east coast, there were lots of local pizza places, my favorite one having a Greek flair. LOVE this place and will definitely be ordering again. (Super fast order/delivery too!)
(5)Reagan N.
Neat little local pizza joint. The owner is a really nice man. The crust is obviously freshly made and really tasty. My wife and I shared a calzone with chicken, black olives, and jalapeños. It was quite good, and the price was reasonable.
(4)Doc M.
(5)Chelsey P.
Best gyros I've had. They are really accommodating with orders but don't skimp on the tzaziki. Ask for extra feta too.
(5)Peter T.
(4)Ben W.
(5)Clare M.
(5)Terry B.
(4)Sean S.
(4)Michael H.
(3)Lois S.
(4)Kip L.
(4)Catherine G.

Surprise!
(2)Sung L.
We ordered their lamb gyro, chicken gyro and hummus plate. I would say we didn't enjoy their offerings as much as places like Dar Essalam in Wilsonville, Oasis in Beaverton and Nicolas in Portland. Please running the place seemed nice.
(2)Parker P.
Interesting place, had the gyro which was hot on a nice pita with lots of meat. The tzatziki sauce didn't have much flavor though. Not alot of seating, felt like I was back in the 70's. Kitchen was a little disorganizid forgetting some orders etc....
(3)Tony H.
(5)James J.
This is what food should be about. Good food, good portions, and great staff. The lamb on the hummus plus plate was good and my lunch partner loved the falafel. I can't wait to go back and try a pizza. Note: The outside seating is only on sunny days.
(5)Adam B.
(4)Ninihada C.
The food is good, filling and home-cooked. But the service is spectacular. This family owned business is just that- family run, welcoming and warm. Go to enjoy the yummy food and talk with the loving family!
(4)Kathy P.
Had a really yummy steak and cheese. The bread was a bit crispy but moist and the steak had a lot of flavor. Also had a personal pizza that had a really good flavor. I will definitely go back and want to try something new.
(4)Sara B.
The Tigard Pizza Kitchen doesn't just offer pizza, but the best homemade Lebanese food you'd never expect to find in a Tigard shopping center. The sweet couple who own the place made us fresh pita while we were waiting, and the vegetarian entrees are out of this world. Oh, and they do catering. delish!
(5)Andy C.
I came for the pizza, but I'm not going back for that. Instead, I'm coming back for some awesome freshly baked bread (light and fluffy pita-style) and delicious hummus. The baklava was good, too, and I think it was home made as well!
(5)Neil W.
Top notch home-made hummus, Falafel, and Pita. I'm not an expert on Dolma, but they seemed a bit on the oily side, but were delicious nonetheless. I would go back to try some of their other offerings.
(4)Matthew L.

(5)Natalie H.
(5)Martin F.

(5)William M.
(5)Jillian D.
(4)Lella L.
(2)Andy B.
(5)R W.
(5)Omni A.
not sure how ppl find this place. my GPS took me to a different building. after finally arriving I could see why. its supper hidden. pizza was small and expensive. just average pizza as well. you could make your own better and cheaper and not have to play hide and seek just to find it
(3)Baba B.
I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.
(5)Brandon W.
(5)Edward E.
The food here is always great. Especially the pizza. And I'm not talking "oh that was nice" good, I'm talking about pizza so good you feel high from it afterwards. You gotta come in and try it. Hummus and pita is always so fresh too to the point that the pita bread is still ballooned with steam.
(5)Chris O.
The pizza is so-so, medium crust and lost of toppings, the sauce was ok but overall it just wasn't all that tasty, maybe better than most chains but that isn't saying much. Nice friendly folks though so maybe I'll come back to try their Mediterranean food.
(3)Ashley W.
(1)Angela M.
Everything we've ever had is great! Great customer service! Try the gyros! Kids love the pizza & pita. The owners are always there with a friendly smile, they are very inviting. The decor leaves something to be desired. That's what you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you would miss this little gem!
(5)Laura C.
(3)April P.
(5)Rachel J.
Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!
(5)Chelsey P.
Best gyros I've had. They are really accommodating with orders but don't skimp on the tzaziki. Ask for extra feta too.
(5)Peter T.
(4)Reagan N.
Neat little local pizza joint. The owner is a really nice man. The crust is obviously freshly made and really tasty. My wife and I shared a calzone with chicken, black olives, and jalapeños. It was quite good, and the price was reasonable.
(4)Doc M.
(5)Ben W.
(5)Brian H.
We decided to go here after we read the reviews. The humus appetizer was amazing. It was served with hot flat bread and we devoured it. We ordered three different pizzas and all of them were good. We will definitely be back. The only missing piece is that they do not serve beer or wine.
(4)Janet M.
(4)Phillip S.
(2)Leslie B.
(5)Scott N.

(4)Chad Or Lisa S.
Yum!
(5)William B.
(2)Nikki B.
(3)Lee P.
(5)Jenni B.
This place is so good! The gyro's are amazing. The dolmas are delicious. The pizza is yummy. Go and support a small family run business. You can tell they love their customers! It's not a fancy place, but the food is amazing.
(5)Tony H.

(4)Michael H.
(3)Kip L.
(4)Matt L.
(4)Terry B.
(4)Emily D.
(4)Kate T.
(5)Dave S.
Surprise!
(3)James J.
This is what food should be about. Good food, good portions, and great staff. The lamb on the hummus plus plate was good and my lunch partner loved the falafel. I can't wait to go back and try a pizza. Note: The outside seating is only on sunny days.

(3)Angela M.
Excellent Pizza! Don't let the appearance fool you. Best crust I have had in quite awhile :)
(5)John D.

(4)Catherine G.
(4)Adam B.

(5)Michael B.
(4)William B.
(2)Nikki B.

(4)Lee P.
(5)Jenni B.
This place is so good! The gyro's are amazing. The dolmas are delicious. The pizza is yummy. Go and support a small family run business. You can tell they love their customers! It's not a fancy place, but the food is amazing.

(5)Laura C.
(3)April P.

Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on their amazing food! P.s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!

(5)Chris O.
The pizza is so-so, medium crust and lost of toppings, the sauce was ok but overall it just wasn't all that tasty, maybe better than most chains but that isn't saying much. Nice friendly folks though so maybe I'll come back to try their Mediterranean food.

Amazing sandwiches too
(5)Esteban J.
Their lebanese breakfast items are amazing. They have flat bread with herbs on it toasted in an oven then they sprinkle cheese on top of that. They are very generous with their portions and the price is right. They always offer complimentary vegetable plates with their Food. Highly recommend their gyros

(5)Omni A.
not sure how ppl find this place. my GPS took me to a different building. after finally arriving I could see why. its supper hidden. pizza was small and expensive. just average pizza as well. you could make your own better and cheaper and not have to play hide and seek just to find it

I wish I lived closer to this place. Portland and the surrounding area certainly is not lacking in great Mediterranean food, but TIgard PIzza Kitchen still has one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it has excellent pizza to boot.
(5)Brandon W.

(5)K K.
Exactly what I wanted. Growing up on the east coast, there were lots of local pizza places, my favorite one having a Greek flair. LOVE this place and will definitely be ordering again. (Super fast order/delivery too!)
(5)Chelsey P.
Best gyros I've had. They are really accommodating with orders but don't skimp on the tzaziki. Ask for extra feta too.
(5)Reagan N.
Neat little local pizza joint. The owner is a really nice man. The crust is obviously freshly made and really tasty. My wife and I shared a calzone with chicken, black olives, and jalapeños. It was quite good, and the price was reasonable.
(4)Doc M.
(5)Ben W.
(5)Brian H.
We decided to go here after we read the reviews. The humus appetizer was amazing. It was served with hot flat bread and we devoured it. We ordered three different pizzas and all of them were good. We will definitely be back. The only missing piece is that they do not serve beer or wine.

(4)Phillip S.
(2)Leslie B.

(3)Angela M.
Excellent Pizza! Don't let the appearance fool you. Best crust I have had in quite awhile :)
(5)Terry B.

(5)Chad Or Lisa S.
Yum!
