We went here for a birthday dinner and it was great for our large party of 17. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great! The open space made it really inviting. They have some outdoor seating and the windows that open to the outside. I got the chicken pad Thai. It was delicious although it had quite a spicy kick to it! We will definitely come back again! It by far surpasses typhoon which used to be the local Thai place on NW 23rd.

I really love this place. Our group had the pad see ew with chicken, fried rice with chicken, and tom kha. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. The pad see ew noodles weren't dry and they weren't over-sauced. Really delicious sauce, though they didn't have sriracha. The house chili sauce was super spicy but had too much vinegar. The tom kha was extremely flavorful, with very tender chicken pieces (not dry at all) and onions that were completely caramelized to the point of being jammy and sweet. I didn't get to try the chicken fried rice, but I was told it was really delicious.

The only thing I can speak to is the pad thai which was delicious. The friend we were with ordered the yellow curry chicken and really liked his as well. The vibe of the place is a little weird. They have TVs with football up, which I'm not complaining about, but was surprised to see at a Thai restaurant. I'd also say the service wasn't bad, but wasn't impressive either. All-in-all, a solid spot. We'll be back!

I am a regular here and the one in Beaverton, This one has a more open space and more TVs. My favorite bartender in Portland is here more often then the other though. The food is great, I have been here mostly for happy hour and am always happy. I have also got food to go, The Pad Thai order was so big two of us split it. The service is always great, and friendly. The food is top notch. I love the Chicken Pad Thai Is is some of the best pad thai I have had anywhere. The flavors come together so well. The Chicken Satay is a great light dish. For dessert I have had the coconut ice cream (free with Yelp check in) . The Mango with sticky rice is probably my favorite, they dont always have it if they can't find great mangos and the rice with the seeds on it is delicious. The Thai Fried Banana is so rich and flavorful that it is hard to finish but it is so good...

As authentic as it gets! A lovely place with delicious food! We really enjoyed our meal and would recommend Thai Bloom to anyone thinking of stopping by. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to check-in and redeem your free coconut ice cream!

I was walking around 23rd doing some shopping and was hungry so popped in here. It was okay. I had the tom kha soup which was a little gritty and not much flavor, to start. Next I had the chicken with Thai basil - this was good. Nice flavor, nice heat.

As far as Thai food goes this place does a very nice job. It is not too oily, which I see a lot in other local slots. They give you nice size portions as well. The atmosphere is nice, but it's got an odd vibe too it. I can't quite put my finger on it but that's why I only gave 4 stars. I will be back since it's close enough to my work and I like to bounce between the various Thai spots in the vicinity.

One of my favorite Thai places. Warm, friendly service and excellent food with great flavor! Food always comes quickly and never disappoints.

We usually go at least once every 2 weeks for their happy hour which runs from 4-6pm & the last hour they're open daily plus all day on Sundays. The service is spotty as they always seem to be understaffed. We can usually get our order in promptly, but it's difficult to get anything after that since the food runners usually dash off after dropping off the food & the servers are usually too busy to check in. However, the value for such delicious food makes it well worth it. We typically order a lot of food, my husband gets at least 1 beer, & our bill usually ends up around $30. Our favorites are the Drunken Noodles, Spicy Chicken with Basil, Papaya Salad, Chicken Larb Salad, & the Tom Kha soup. Don't bother with upgrading to shrimp because it costs $2 more than chicken or tofu & we only got 3 shrimps in our Pad Thai last night. We noticed that the portions seem to have gotten smaller since the last time we were here, but it's still enough to be worth it. Make sure to check in via Yelp to get your free coconut ice cream!

  • Swapnil D.

The place is great. Plus when Yelp gives you a free ice-cream on check-in what more can you ask? :) I had the Ginger Chicken curry and the (free) coconut ice cream. Both were awesome. They said coconut ice-cream was homemade and made of coconut milk, no wonder it was so delicious. The Ginger Chicken was also good. I have tried ginger chicken at quite a few thai places but sometimes they just lack the gingery flavor, they do have the ginger bits but lack the flavor in the curry. This one isn't like that and really doesn't disappoint you. You should try both these items.

Came here for happy hour today and was quite pleased. They have a happy hour pad Thai for $6.99. I added shrimp for $1 and it came with three shrimp. Also had chicken pot stickers on the happy hour. Good quality ingredients, and the atmosphere was so relaxing and nice to be in. It was clean, tidy, and classy. The staff was very friendly, outstanding service. I would recommend this restaurant, and would eat here again.

Standard issue Thai food. Nothing to write home about here. This place is a little to clean to be authentic. Service is nice, and none english speaking so that's legit.

  • Cameron W.

Thai Bloom is a rejuvenation of the old Taiphoon and is now owned by the employees. They haven't forgotten how to do it. I've had lunch there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is perfect and the place is immaculate. No reason to say anything else.

By far one of my favorite stops in Portland, food wise, I had the pineapple curry with Tofu. It had pineapple, grapes, carrots, green beans, bell peppers, tomatoes and fresh basil. They have plenty more vegan options and gluten free choices as well . Check in on the Yelp at to get your free handmade coconut ice cream ! The best way to end the meal is with this ice cream . It's creamy and rich and overall amazing. Oh and can I say great portion size and they aren't to stingy with the ingredients.

  • Gohar S.

Wife and I were hanging out and walking NW 23rd and didn't know Thai Bloom had a location here. Checked it out and loved this spot cause the bar lounge area is big and kid friendly. Food was great as usual!! Love the wings!!

Portland, OR: This place was fantastic. Five of us came here to eat on Easter and they were doing the Happy Hour deals all day (nothing we ordered was over $5.99). Appetizers: we ordered the shrimp and veggie tempura, Tom Kha soup, edamame, and the chicken pot stickers. Members of the group also ordered various drinks, including a couple of the cocktails and a darker beer. For the first go around, the highlight was definitely the veggie tempura (some of the best I've ever had); it was so amazing we ordered another plate. The Mai Tai was also exceptionally delicious. Dinner: we ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Drunken Noodles, and Spicy Chicken with Basil. While I didn't eat the chicken, I can vouch for my Drunken Noodles with Tofu (yum!). The overall experience was terrific. The service was pretty quick (Sam was our server and very sweet), and the atmosphere great (sleek, modern, and clean). I'd say we all had a fantastic time and would recommend coming here.

The first thing I'd like to point out is that the individuals answering the phone are some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with in ordering food. The man I spoke with called me by name multiple times which is something, although small, that really personalized the experience. Second thing- the Tom Kha soup with prawns is effing delicious. I was craving something with a strong coconut milk flavor and I got something that far exceeded my expectations. Other items ordered that were equally good were the Pad Thai with beef and tofu, and chicken satay with peanut sauce. The only downsides - no chopsticks were brought with the order (that should be a given), the satay was just a little too dry, but not bad, and more than one lime wedge should come with the order of Pad Thai as the portion is wonderfully large. All in all, I'll probably be ordering from them again. I'm only in Portland for a week, but this is a great first impression of the food scene.

Their Pad Thai was amazing. Service was attentive. Would definitely return when visiting Portland again!

Very affordable, quick service, and eager to please. They brought out brown rice right away when we asked for it rather than white. The seaweed salad was really good and Tom Kha was delicious!! Excellent happy hour deals Watch out the drunken noodles are spicy but tasty!

Great food, fast and friendly service, clean outside seating, water glasses refilled promptly, option for brown rice is appreciated!

Dinner here last night was a terrific experience. Atmosphere: Clean and bright with comfortable seating A Service: Service was prompt but accommodating. You do not feel like they are trying to turn the tables. A+ Drinks: These folks make a terrific martini which meet my gold standard. A+ Food: The duck curry was fantastic. By the looks of the empty dishes around me everyone was happy with their choices. Portions are generous here. A+ Price: I paid but was not paying too much attention so I am punting on this one. N/A Overall this was a very nice experience.

This was super slow. I have been to the beaverton location a bit and this doesn't compare. Skip it. Go somewhere else. We had apps and drinks and it took like 2 hours. We were ready to pay after like 40 minutes, haha. Also we asked for napkins and that took so long we just went to the bathroom and washed hands at a sink. Skip.

Years back, Typhoon! was serving up some delicious, elegant Thai food. Then it was found out that the owners were treating their employees like crap, and the chain was completely shut down. I came to Thai Bloom because the 23rd location was a Korean place in the past, and I was wanting some Korean food. We found Thai Bloom instead, and my dad recognized one of the servers from Typhoon! Turns out that some of the people who had been working there came together to form their own restaurant. I got the massuman curry, my brother and dad got noodles, and my mom got some flaming fish thing. All delicious! All served beautifully! And the service here is very good, very friendly. Definitely going to start coming here more!

Best Thai food in town, hands down! (Aside from their sister location in Beaverton, so good too!) The food is authentic and delicious! The staff is very well trained, friendly and helpful. This place makes me proud to be from Portland. In fact when my favorite restaurant(s) Typhoon! closed 4 years ago our family was so sad. So many of our favorite people from Typhoon! are the people responsible for the new Thai Bloom and the food is as good or better! Even our favorite Portland waiter Sam is there. (I think he and his wife are the owners now). Get the Chicken Pad Thai (add a little salt) and you will never go anywhere else. Miang Kum is a party in your mouth. Order this even if you think you won't like it.. and yes you are welcome. The best Thai food in Portland is back and it's better then ever.

Wonderful place, highly recommended. Clean and friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff. Incredibly quick and attentive. Food arrived almost immediately. I had the beef salad with cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes; it was excellent! I also ordered the chicken pot stickers which were good, and the sauce was great. Very well priced! We ordered off of the happy hour menu. Overall a spectacular restaurant, definitely will come again!

Absolutely fabulous service & best spicy cosmo ever! Owner was our bartender & he took my beverage back to the kitchen to add extra spice....very impressed! Tried happy hour Tom Kha Soup & Fried Calamari....both excellent! We will be back soon!

I love this place. Loved how much knowledge the server had on the menu. Pineapple curry was delicious and you must try the coconut ice cream. I'm not a coconut fan but I loved the texture and I will eat coconut from now on.

Eh. It's okay. We liked the pad see ew with chicken but our yellow curry was so-so. It's also pretty expensive for Thai food. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating. Our favorite part of dinner was sitting by the window and watching people walk by on the bustling 23rd street.

  • Michael V.

Just had our dinner delivered from Thai Bloom and we were so pleased with our meals! Firstly, ordering was fast & efficient (with friendly service). The food was delivered on time and tasted great. We were also told to mention being a repeat customer for a 10% off next delivery purchase! It's great to find a reliable Thai Restaurant that delivers in the neighborhood. We will definitely be getting dinner from this place again.

The Good: Great place for reasonable, tasty Thai food in NW. The happy hour prices are decent, and the best part is that ALL DAY on Sunday is "Happy Hour". So you can try a variety of foods and drinks and not spend a fortune. The ambiance is clean and modern with 3 flat screen TVs over the bar, and a well-lit bar. YES - Gluten Free Choices. They have Gluten Free options listed on the menu, and some items can be made gluten free upon request. Staff is helpful in accommodating gluten free requests. Favorite Dishes: Pad Thai, Beef Salad (very flavorful), Chicken Satay (You may want to order two, as only 3 pieces are served on happy hour.) Awesome Drink: Lemongrass Mojito (refreshing and delightful) Don't Try: Spinach Artichoke Dip (Thai-spin on an American dip w/chips the added curry makes for a peculiar flavor), Miang Kum (an odd concoction with Spinach leaves topped with dried coconut flakes and a sweet syrup). The Bad: The restaurant gets packed and very noisy. They seem understaffed, so it can be had to flag down your waiter/waitress for additional orders after you've already placed the first order. Also, it can take a while to get the check. Although we like the food, the service could use some improvement.

This is the best Thai food we have eaten in Oregon. It is as good as we had living in Thailand. Very flavorful. We will be back. For a new restaurant they did it right the first time

Fantastic. So. So. Fantastic. I am a Thai food addict, and this is the best new place I've been to in ages, even topping my beloved Tasty Thai on drunken noodles. Great service, our waitress was adorable and friendly, great setting in the 23rd area, and the food is killer. THAI WIN. Can't wait to come back. (Tried Larb, drunken noodles, Tom yum, pad Thai, coconut ice cream)

Phad Thai wasn't exceptional...chicken skewer okay, egg rolls okay, conconut ice cream okay...plum sauce and thai iced tea were delish!

I agree with some reviews here food take way too long and they aren't busy. When it finally comes out it's barely warm and my noodles soup don't have enough broth. I like Red Onion better down the street or New Thai place in the Pearl next to the highway.

  • Lisa H.

Came in for Sunday night all day happy hour after work at 5:30 pm. It was busy but not completely full yet. I had the drunken noodles medium hot. They were delicious! No issues with waiting for food, they were prompt to greet, seat, and take my order. Food came quickly. Nice folks. I will come back to try the full menu.

What the heck??!! Why aren't you guys closer to me!! Or why am I not closer to you?! Great food. Happy hour was happy! Portions are smaller but still super delicious. Friendly staff as well. I will definitely be visiting you guys again when I'm in the neighborhood.

We love the first location in Beaverton so we are super excited that they opened a second location right by us! Sunday all day happy hour was the thing that got our attention. The food is delicious, some of our favorites are beef salad, pad thai, glass noodle salad and pad kee mao. We have always had great service and food comes out at a reasonable amount of time so not sure why people are complaining about wait time, this isn't a fast food joint. If coconut is your thing, their coconut ice cream is refreshing, creamy and an awesome way to end the meal.

Dinner was very pleasant at Thai Bloom on the Memorial Day holiday. Our appetizer of Salad Rolls was pretty tasty. Two things set them apart from most salad rolls at other places: the pronounced mint taste of the mint leaves in them, and also the accompanying peanut sauce was heated. I liked that. One of our entrees was Yellow Curry with tofu and vegetables. It was rich and savory. I especially liked the consistency of the curry sauce. It was thick and saucy, rather than thin and watery. I prefer this thicker sauce because it "sticks" to your rice and other ingredients instead of immediately running off of everything onto the bottom of your plate. Our other entree was one of their spring-summer seasonal specials, Yuki Stir-fried Noodles with tofu and vegetables. The noodles were a thin vermicelli-like glass noodle. It's the first time I've had this particular dish, and it tasted pretty good with a bit of spiciness to it. . .but I guess I just like other styles of noodles better. Overall good place!

Really enjoyed this for lunch. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options - and many items can also be made as such upon request. I had the Panang Curry which was really good, albeit a little salty - which I actually prefer. Service was good, and they were patient while I waited a half hour until my friend arrived; though I could see I was pushing the limits when about 30 seconds after she arrived they wanted to take our order.

Holy cow man this is good Thai food. If you aren't from Oregon, you better believe this is the best Thai you will probably have. If you are, you are a lucky son of a...because there's some great Thai selection in the NW. There Massaman curry and crab pad thai are basically heaven and should be on every table ever. I don't care if you're eating alone. Get both.

Happy hour on sunday was great! We got a seat right away and ordered plenty of food for 2 for about $12. The coconut ice cream was fantastic! There was no wait at noon on sunday and the order was quick, we got our food in 5 minutes.

Excellent food and service. The other reviews were right. Great happy hour as well as regular menu. Chicken Larb Salad and Miang Kum were both delicious. Refreshing taste and very fresh ingredients. Crab pad Thai was also great. Service is very friendly and attentive. Will be back yet again!

I didn't feel like cooking tonight and had spotted Thai Bloom when I was walking 23rd the other day. It did not disappoint! I had the papaya salad and drunken noodles with beef. Both were incredibly delicious. I ordered them a little but too spicy but it was so good, I kept eating anyway. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful - especially the gentleman who rang up my order. I cannot wait to go back again and try something else. Great neighborhood spot!

  • T H.

Cedar Hills location is way better than this location, both food wise and service wise. Had 4 servers/bartenders/hostesses stand around. Had to get up and ask for our check. Maybe because the restaurant is new? I'm not sure but we were never asked if we were doing ok once. That's fine, but maybe at the end of our meal I could use someone to help us get our check or a box Togo.

Awesome food, atmosphere and service with a smile at reasonable prices. We had the Thai Bloom combination platter appetizer and Hung-Lay Pork Chops and homemade coconut ice cream and they were all excellent in taste and presentation.

I frequently visit Williams-Sonoma and pass Thai Bloom on my stroll down NW 23rd. Recently, I stopped in during Happy Hour and was more than pleasantly surprised. The food, service, ambience and price are all excellent. They have an extensive menu of Happy Hour cocktails and, unlike some restaurants, their drinks are packed with real alcohol not ice. I particularly like the lychee cocktail that oozes with vodka. Their ribs with a subtle orange glaze is excellent. Great Pad Thai, too. I've been back and both times the restaurant was full. The service is efficient and the owners are delightful. No doubt this will soon become one of my favorite stopovers in the Alphabet District.

Great happy hour option. Miang kum $3.99 is an amazing dish with lots of flavor. The service is amazing and Thai iced teas r to die for. You don't break the bank and get lots of food for a cheap price!

It took 5 attempts to call. They finally picked up the phone and I was put on hold. Placed my take out order as fast as I could and now I have to wait 45mins. Should have known since it took so long to get through on the phone. The word is out. The food is good, but there are other options near by that are pretty good-great too. Thai Bloom needs to be careful. We may take our business elsewhere if this is a repeated experience.

My wife and I were downtown this evening, and were in the mood for some Thai food. Someone recommended Thai Bloom, and I'm so glad they did. The atmosphere in this place is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is amazing! I had the Drunken Noodles. The spice was perfect and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. My wife had the cashew chicken, and couldn't stop talking about how it was the best Thai she had ever had. Something tells me I will be picking a lot of dinners up from here, on my way home from work. I recommend Thai Bloom to anyone with a craving for some fantastic Thai food.

Excellent Thai food. It has been my mission to find the best thai in Portland for quite some time now. Well, that search has ceased my friends. Happy hour all day on Sundays, with awesome house wine to compliment my Panang Curry! Will be here weekly. I will go as far to say, better than Typhoon!

I audibly groaned when I heard that another Thai restaurant was opening in NW, until I went to Thai Bloom and am quickly becoming a regular. Delicious, flavorful and beautifully composed dishes with friendly service and reasonable prices. I have dined here 4 times in the last month and am always happy with my choice. Without being snooty or overbearing, their staff is attentive and knowledgable and help you feel easily welcomed. They happily accommodated a reservation for 14 of us last night and nothing was compromised- the service, flavor and presentation exceeded my expectations. Really happy to have Thai Bloom in the neighborhood! Highly recommend the Khao Soi, it's definitely a game changer.

Pretty mediocre food. The establishment itself was clean and pleasant, and the windows were great for people watching. The staff were polite and the iced coffee was yummy, but the curry wasn't spicy and was too sweet. The pad-thai was overly sweet as well. It's about on the same level as a mall's food court.

Coconut ice cream was gr8! Soup was awesome. Happy hour food specials are a nice touch. I wasn't too taken back with the all the food, but I used to work at an awesome Thai restaurant in Hawaii, so maybe I'm just being picky.

As I was in the area, I decided to try a new thai place to continue my search for the best Drunken Noodles. This place was really nicely decorated, a little more than I usually pay, but I was already there, so I gave it a shot. I ordered my food, he said it would be about 15 -20 minutes and that I could have a seat at the bar while I waited. As I was waiting I noticed that they have a wonderful looking happy hour menu and that happy hour is all day on Sundays. Darn, it was Sunday. I wish I had seen this before I ordered, drunken noodles were half off as long as you sat in the bar/lounge area. I decided it was ok, because I had a night of binge watching Girls and eating Thai at home planned, so I didn't want to take the time to eat my food there. The drink specials looked amazing, too. Alas, 45 minutes later my food came! They weren't that busy, I feel like they may have forgotten my order. I didn't receive much of an apology either, nor did I get a fork or chopsticks and a napkin with my order. I've never waited that long for Thai food and have always gotten the proper utensils! I probably would have gotten my food faster if I ordered happy hour. I will come back for their happy hour. The food was good, but I've definitely had better. I'll try something else next time and maybe get the coconut ice cream that I hear is delicious!

Sorry, but I'm going to have to contradict most of the other reviews on here. We stopped by Thai Bloom for lunch today after all the glowing Yelp reviews, but we left very disappointed. The pad thai had too much sauce (with an oddly strong tomato taste). Their special beef noodle soup had a strong flavor that we didn't care for, and the meat wasn't very tasty. The dumplings were fine but nothing special. Finally, the restaurant wasn't super busy but we still had to wait a while for our check. I might give it another chance ordering different items; but, based on this experience, I've certainly had better Thai food in the area. By the way, before you order, check out the TV on top of the bar -- it cycles through some very high quality photos of all the dishes, so that might help you make better selections.

Decent, but nothing spectacular. Certainly nowhere near "best Thai food in town". I wouldn't even call it the best Thai place on 23rd. I like Red Onion way better. I had their Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and I almost forgot that that's what I ordered, bc it seemed so generic. It was supposedly spicy, but I didn't taste any spice. Overrated.

I stopped in for lunch and had the spicy chicken and basil then had the coconut ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted wonderful and the service was top notch.

Great happy hour specials and plates. They really get it right. Some of the beat pad thai in Portland, and I have eaten lots of pad thai around town. Good selection of wine!

I visited here with business colleagues upon their recommendation. We shared the Crying Tiger appetizer and it was delicious!!! I had the Tom Ka soup with chicken (again Delicious) and finally the Crab Pad Thai-Everything was wonderful with generous portions and I even had enough left over for lunch the next day. I will visit here again when I am in Portland-Highly recommend!!!

Love Thai Bloom's beaverton location and this one isn't very busy yet. Curries ordered without modification are a bit sweet and not spicy enough for my taste but on request they make it just as I prefer. New fall specials have orange ribs on them, a happy hour fav of mine.

Delicious curries - I especially like the duck curry and the yellow curry. I understand that the head chef is the one that used to work for Typhoon!, and the duck curry is the same that they used to serve. I've only had their delivery so far, so I can't comment on being inside the restaurant..

Great menu with Panang Curry that my husband says is the best he ever enjoyed. The Green Papaya salad with grilled chicken is a very large and refreshing meal. The server was gracious enough to bring me a taste of The Laos style version which is a unique flavor. We will definitely return!

Perfect Tom Kha soup and GREAT happy hour prices. Staff friendly and helpful! Made sure I had everything I needed without disturbing meal. Chicken satay also great. Good portion size for both appetizers and meals- more than enough food, really. Overall, a pleasant and delicious experience

Amazing happy hour (3-6pm, 8-close). Great service and staff are all wonderful! Try the papaya salad! The spinach artichoke dip (curry inspired) was a bit odd and the tortilla chips that came with it came from a bag so it kinda didn't go together. Everything else yummy!

I went to Thai Bloom on NW 23rd with some family and friends on Christmas Eve 2014. We wanted to do something a little non-traditional for our annual get together and decided to try some Thai. There were 12 of us total and we had made reservations. The staff was enthusiastic about our group being there and we were seated right as we came in. We started with drinks, and my aunt go something called "One night in Bangkok" which she must have enjoyed because she had 3 over the course of the evening. We decided that we would order a few appetizers and then each person would get an entree of their choice that others could try if it sounded interesting. I can honestly say there was not a single thing I did not like the entire evening. I don't remember what everyone ordered, but I do remember a few stand outs. The Pumpkin Curry was a hit, rich curry flavor with a hint of pumpkin, perfect for the holidays. My brother got the Larb Salad and enjoyed it. My daughter got the crab pad Thai and said it was excellent (she is a connoisseur of pad Thai). I enjoyed the Pad Ped Beef with Green Peppercorn. It was something different and interesting for me, a bit spicy with the whole green peppercorns, but had great flavor. My wife had the Drunken Halibut which she said was amazing and it would be worth going back just for that. I also recall the Fisherman's Fried Rice was excellent as well. There were many other dishes as well, and like I said before I liked them all. The service was excellent, they did a good job getting most of our food out about the same time considering the size of our group. Everything was hot and the flavors were wonderful, rich, and fresh. It was a fantastic Christmas Eve experience for my family and friends, and we will definitely be going back to Thai Bloom in the near future!

Newest & best Thai in the NW area for sure. My husband and I will be coming here for all our Thai outings (which are often) from now on.

Best Thai food I've had. Recently moved here from LA and have eaten at some pretty good Thai places, this place takes the papaya!

I'm so happy that Thai Bloom opened on NW 23rd Ave. I've been going out to their Beaverton location to get my fix of great Thai food ever since they opened there. We never need a menu and although we've tried many of their dishes, we always go back for the Chicken Satay, Salad Rolls, Chicken Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken, all of which are lick the plate good. You'll want to ask for extra peanut sauce...it's that good!

This place is everything Thai food should be! I couldn't be happier to have this place in the neighborhood, such a perfect addition! The service and atmosphere are ideal for a lunch break or evening out. The happy hour food and drink menu are fantastic! I plan on having this place be a weekly dinner spot!!!

We are big fans of the location in Beaverton, so I was really excited to hear that they had opened up a new location downtown. As expected, it was AMAZING. The pumpkin curry, drunken noodles, and eggplant stir fry were each incredible. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants in my day, and Thai Bloom trumps them all! Wonderful food, classy atmosphere, and great service make it a five star restaurant. I can't wait to come back soon!

We stumbled upon this place while shopping, and it is fantastic!! We had tofu salad rolls with fresh herbs, refreshing noodles and a perfect peanut sauce. Our main dish of pumpkin curry was outstanding. The taste of the pumpkin changed how I feel about it as a main course, it is so delicious!!

Good solid Thai food and very friendly service despite being super busy. They are not stingy on the high quality ingredients either. The cocktails were delicious, too. The Happy hour menu is very extensive and definitely worthwhile a visit!

Located across from WmsSonoma on 23rd, this new Thai Bloom is a wonderful addition to dining out in Portland. Excellent appetizers (just a side of rice and and a selection from their offerings would make a very tasty dinner). The Larb was perfection and went well with succulent dumplings. The shrimp and pork (skewered) was spicy and full of rich flavor (heat will be adjusted to your liking by the chef) and the meatballs with crispy crackers , noodles and broth was another delicious treat. This is the best Thai food in Portland (and Seattle). Enhancing the evening was the courteous and pleasant server and the welcoming staff.
