I have frequented this location quite often in the past 10 years I have lived in the village. The service used to be incredibly friendly. The last few times I have been, it has been terrible. Today for example, one employee was working his tail off while all of the others just stood around talking with the music blaring in the back. I thought it would busy when I came in because there was a lot of noise on the other end when I called and it took forever to answer the phone. When I got there 10 minutes later, the store was empty and my pizza wasn't even started! It didn't surprise me when I saw the "manager" who was on duty. She helped me when I came in the last time and she was terrible! Keep the red headed, kind, hardworking young man and get rid of the rest! Especially that nasty manager that works!

Back in the day, before there will national chains that offered TNB, there was a local one in my home town. It was next door to a place that sold soda by the case, in a myriad of flavors, with their own label on it. I don't remember the names of either. Every week, I get Papa Murphy's coupons in the mail, they come on Tuesdays with some other postal flyers. They are usually a better deal than any of the other chains, today it was $10 for a large 5 meat stuffed pie. This pizza has the usual cheese, sauce, and is topped with pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, and the other kind of bacon, then a second crust is placed on top of that, and some more sauce, cheese, and ground beef is sprinkled atop the outer crust. I swear this puppy weighed in at 5 pounds, making it a terrific value. It could feed a large family, I am sure. (I was only good for two small slices, which still blew my carb allowance for the day). Papa Murphy's supplies their pies on a disposable baking tray, so all you have to do is follow the instructions, 425, center rack, 25-30 minutes, take it off the tray and place directly on the rack after 20 for a crispier crust. It's been eons since I had a Papa Murphy's, and I have to say, for the "value chains", this is my new bestest favorite. The crust was crispy, there is tons of cheese, mild sauce, and it is crammed full of processed pork products. I don't know why I haven't picked these up more often. I will in the future.

The people here work hard. I see their employees neatly dressed in uniforms and black shoes working the shaker board. They take your order quickly and are polite on the phone. We have gone to this one since 1998. We tried the one on HWY 10 and had 2 negative phone interactions. Back to Multnomah Blvd where the staff are polite and cheerful!

I've been by here twice recently and I really should quit as it's very tasty but doesn't help my waistline. They now have salads which is a nice addition. For $5 you can get a Greek salad or a Caesar salad. They have great pizza specials. I usually stick the vegetarian pizza and then if the guy wants something on it I will stop off and buy some fancy salami and bake that on the top of it. That way we are both happy and I can do it half and half that way. I'm sure they would do that for me but we've found a particular salami that he loves. I'll be back again but I'll go easy on the pizza after the new year.

My 3 year old and I stood in the lobby of this place for 5 minutes with 4 or 5 people behind the counter and never even had our existence acknowledged...which might not have been so bad if ANYONE else had been In there. I was literally walking from person to person standing in front of them waiting for help. Anyways, not gonna tell them how to do their jobs and never going back. Basics, people.

I'm not much of a pizza fan but these guys make a killer take and bake pizza. Everyone here is polite respectful and quick to make your order. Definitely worth your time.

I love their advertised specials. I think having a Papa Murphy's in the neighborhood is great. They offer active military discounts on top of their already excellent prices. I think the pizza is good but I usually end up adding either additional cheese or some other ingredient to spice up the often times basic pies. Best bang for your buck: 5 dollar faves: Cheese, or Pep, or Ground Sausage. Best kept secret: often the store will discount their desert pies or salads before closing. You can really stack up a bunch of pies for not that much bread. I like to refer to their food as Free Calories.

While the quality of the food is consistently good, this location rates far lower than it deserves for its extremely poor service, specifically the folks who prepare the pizzas. It it very common to call in an order and then travel to the location only to be told there is no record of your order: it happened to me a few weeks ago and to some guy ahead of me in line this evening. Additionally, if you're brave enough to place an order on $10 Tuesday, expect the order to get messed up and to wait a long, long time. For instance, I called in an order, arrived 15 minutes later to pick it up, and was told that it was being made. I stood in the store over 15 minutes waiting and watching people who arrived after me walk out with stacks of pizza. I asked about my order, and--lo and behold--there it was, at the bottom of a high pile of pizzas. No one ever called my name for pick up. Ooops! Needless to say, I'm a bit skittish about returning, unless I have oodles of time to just burn.

I like papa murphy's and this store is remodeled, clean and efficient. It's great because you choose everything from the sauce to the toppings and the price is very reasonable. As an added plus my kiddos love to cook the pizza and help cut it up. Overall papa murphy's is a good choice.
(3)Mark S.
Why does good pizza always cost so much at other pizza joints? Papa Murphy's is fast, clean, good ingredients great value pizza. Take and bake at home when you are ready to eat. At this location they remodeled and made it a little bit bigger. You can see all the toppings right there as they build your pie in one long assembly line. They always give you a menu with a $2 or $3 off next pizza coupon for the next time you want to go, two bucks is two bucks.
