We love this place! It is small and personable, the food is good, and they have good prices.I've had the linguine and sausage, and Cajun shrimp. They were great!

It's a little place, with about 10 tables, so most seem to do carry out, but eat in or carry out and you won't be disappointed. Their garlic cheese bread goes awesome with all the dishes. My fav is the mexican beef pasta. Wow. What a delight to the taste buds. The staff is fast, efficient and always friendly. The place is always clean and we have never had a bad dish. Treat yourself to some awesome pasta dishes.

I found this Best Kept Secret shortly after I moved to Portland, OR in 1995. it quickly became, and STILL is to this day, my favorite of favorite places to go for pasta. My biggest frustration is that as I am writing this, I am now craving it - and they are NOT open at 2:45am ;)P The service is outstanding, the food just hits the spot every time. WAIT !!! I almost forgot about the cheesy bread. sigh... OK, now I'm REALLY hungry !!! It's one of the top 10 reasons I miss living in Portland; every since I moved to Vancouver, WA - I rarely go, and I used to go AT LEAST once a week !!! I miss it...

Mmmmm. Well made, super delicious and cheap! What more could you ask for? My husband and I ordered dinner to go from there tonight. I had spaghetti marinara with italian sausage. The husband got chicken alfredo and we shared cheesy garlic bread. We also got berry iced tea, cheese cake and truffle cake! It was delicious and well priced. We ordered it over the phone and by the time we got there it was ready to go (we live about 10-15 mins away). It was packed well and the perfect temp when we got it home. It also makes for great left overs. I think its a great place for take-out or a quick meal. They also serve beer and wine to go!

We have been coming here for 10 years, hard to imagine. We have never had a bad meal, and the staff are fantastic, and have been there as long as we have been going there. It must be as great of a place to work as to eat. The cleanest restuarant we have ever encountered as well.

This little nugget of italian goodness is a hidden gem. I have been eating here for almost 10 years now and the food has always been great. The shrimp cucumber salad is my dish of choice and I will actually crave it and have to make the trek into Beaverton to get it. The portions are sizeable and I usually have enough left for a second meal, which is something I actually look forward to, because leftovers of this stuff are fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread is OMGarlicky goodness! The food in general here is pure comfort on a plate, like a hug on the inside. Check it out and try your favorite pasta dish - you will LOVE it.

I used to live down the street from this place and I was a regular here. The restaurant puts out fantastic gourmet Italian dishes to go. My go to dish was the chicken piccata with angel hair pasta. Their tiramisu is fantastic too. The place may not lookalike much from the outside but the food is awesome. Enjoy

Went cause I was exhausted and didn't wanna cook...can't think of any reason to go back here. I ordered the Piccatta. It wasn't so much Piccatta as Alfredo with capers...gluey Alfredo. Processed, pre-cut chicken bits...hmmm. Daughter ordered the Thai Noodles. Lots of green peppers with pre-cut chicken bits, spaghetti and bottled Hoisin sauce dumped on it. Oh, and peanuts. She tasted Dad's spaghetti & meatballs and managed to talk him in to trading. The cheesy- garlic bread was below average. I imagine this is what Izzy's is like. I've never considered going to Izzy's.

I like my pasta. I like it slightly tender, with enough sauce to cover the noodles, but not so much it's swimming. With delicious ingredients that add to the flavor to make a delightful meal. Noodles provided me a tantalizing meal of Maccaroni and Cheese, topped with turkey and broccoli, comfortably lathered in a cheese sauce that made for an amazing meal. The price was about where I expected it, just under $8 for my plate, less than $4 gets you a slice of dessert. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The venue is small and informal, a little smaller than I would normally approve or appreciate. For the quality of food and the price, i'll happily go back.

I think this place will probably get five stars when I actually dine in. I got the Alfredo, made with Angel Hair and mushrooms. Not on the menu but I had a craving. They were super cool about making it the way I wanted with different noodles. It was really good, not overly Parmesan-y, pasta was cooked perfectly. We got a fork and napkin in the bag which is a big deal to me because sometimes take-out means picnic, not going home and some places don't get that. Very good overall, but I can't really be a judge when I get take out because its always better to me when you eat it there because is comes out hot and just made.

we just moved to the area and live about a 10 minute walk from Noodles. my boyfriend suggested we go here for dinner last night so of course i had to look at reviews first. after reading several shining reviews, we decided to try it. i had the wheat pasta with chicken and artichoke hearts with a basil marinara. the marinara was delicious as was the entire dish. he had the fettucini alfredo with chicken, equally delicious. i usually don't like alfredo, especially if it's too gooey and rich but i liked theirs. the service was friendly, the price was great. we both had main dishes, a side of cheesy garlic bread and a bottle of izzie for less than $21. you can't beat that with a stick and it was delicious (bonus!).

I will start with the positives because it was not all bad. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated, and comfortable to eat in. The staff were really friendly and accomodating. The set up of the restaurant was awkward in that you ordered at the counter, which is something I have not experienced at an italian restaurant before. I had the fettuccini alfredo with chicken and it was not awful, but it was not amazing either. The chicken seemed rubbery almost processed and the flavor was not bad, but not much different than a lean cuisine. Their menu seemed mismatched as most was italian and then out of nowhere they also serve stroganoff, which also has noodles, but so do other styles of food and they weren't on the menu. It only took 5 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we received our food, which is not a good thing unless I am at a fast food restaurant. That tells me that everything was pre-made sitting on a warmer waiting for the next person to order. If you do go here have the cheesy bread because it is really amazing and really cheap. to wrap it up it is a cozy restaurant with excellent staff and mediocre food. Probably wouldn't go back

I've been wanting to give Noodles 5 stars for a while now. I love Noodles. It's close to my house. It's CONSISTANT. The people that work there are wonderful! I just don't know what I'd do without them.

I've been here several times for dine-in and for take-out and have always had good food and fantastic service! The prices are also very reasonable. My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here, as he is a meat-eater and I am a vegan, and we can both find menu items to satisfy our appetites! (Many entrees are vegetarian and can be made vegan--ask the friendly waitstaff for their suggestions.)

This small family owned restaurant serves up some mighty tasty pasta!!!! The salads here are super fresh and crisp. Their portions are generous and their cheesy garlic bread was toasted just perfect!!! I should have ordered more. A great place to get a quick fresh meal with super friendly service. closed sunday and monday

A cozy, casual restaurant that's has a good food quality to price ratio. For under $10 you can get a decent sized entree of pasta that has that same "my friend who can cook really well is making me a home made meal" taste.

I have been eating here for years and hands down this is my favorite Italian place in Portland. The seafood linguine is my favorite ordered with garlic cheesy bread and either a glass of wine or beer to wash it all down. You won't find table cloths or extensive wine lists here but what you will find is excellent customer service, a spotless kitchen, and delicious flavorful pasta plates at a good value.

I LOVE Noodles Restaurant!!! I think it's far better than Mama Mia's and other Italian restaurants I've been to in Portland. Honestly, I've passed by this bright yellow house on my way to Hosoonyi's and always wondered what it was... It doesn't look like a typical Italian joint. Whatever! It's not a place to find ambiance, just amazing food! Which is good enough for me... TRY: the seafood linguine and spinach ravioli - both are delicious! And don't forget to order a side of cheesy bread. And definitely do get the tiramisu~ oh my.. it was so good. They make it there... Don't be suprised~ it comes in a tiny little cup. But don't underestimate it! Yum! You have to order at the counter, but the staff brings it out to you, and everyone is really friendly/accomodating. Go Noodles!

When I first moved to Portland I stayed with my friend right around the corner from Noodles. I always thought it was a chain Asian "noodle"place. In fact there is one in the Midwest with the same look, but its Asian. This place has some Asian salads..? Italian I think Pasta. Although its focus is Italian, you would never get that from the decor. Almost Subway like. So I had read a recent review, and thought I'd give it a try since I had to feed my buddys cat out that way. We got the Beef Stroganoff, and the Asian( I know,I told her) chicken salad. The chicken dry and processed tasting, the salad forgettable. The Stroganoff sauce was good, but it needs an egg noodle not semolina. So I asked if they made their own pasta....Nope. You name yourself Noodles and you don't make them yourself? I thought it was an expensive so so lunch. But it would make a cheep filler dinner. Even if I have to take care of my friends cat again, I will explore something new in the area.

I've been here a handful of times since they are in my neighborhood. I'm torn. Their desserts are excellent (almond cake and coconut cream pie are both great) and made in house. The marinara is also really flavorful and delicious, and I'm picky about my marinara! It definitely tastes homemade. My gripe is that the pasta is never al dente like it should be... it's always over cooked, in my opinion. Also, I find it annoying and puzzling that a restaurant with pasta as it's main menu item can't whip up some fresh pasta I deviated from my norm and tried the Chinese chicken cabbage salad recently. I don''t recommend it. It was pretty horrible. The cabbage was shredded so fine that it made for a very unappetizing texture and then it was overdressed with a salty, unbalanced dressing. A coarse chop and maybe a little honey in the dressing maybe? As is, it was inedible. I threw it out. Go for dessert for sure. If you do go for dinner, stick with the classics like the pasta pomodoro. But then again, you could make that at home for a few bucks. Which is my issue with this place. If they added fresh pasta and maybe some Parmigiano-Reggiano I would be there all the time.

After spending almost a month in hospital/nursing home recovering from emergency surgery, my lovely daughter was able to spring me for lunch one actual sunny day last week. I wasn't up to going too far away so she suggested Noodles Restaurant on Beav-Hillsdale Hwy. I was so very glad she had this idea as the taste and quantity of food was fantastic. We split a green salad (plenty for two smallish eaters or for a lunch and dinner for one) and a huge plate of rotini pasta, pesto, bay shrimp and artichoke heart and cheese bread..a pasta dish daughter enjoys at least once a month she says. Daughter had a very nice glass of wine but as I was on medication I just had tea. The total meal cost was less than $20.00, service was very fast considering the place was full and I returned to my Nursing home satisfied with the lunch. A week later I'm craving that same dish again and have resolved that my first outing will be back up there for a plate of these noodles for myself. It's a bit of a shame the location is so out of the way and parking awkward. It's on the sort of corner of Olson Road and BH-H where turns and traffic has always been awkward but well worth the trip. Food to go too!

This restaurant is a rundown little place with attentive wait staff. I came with my parents and was not impressed, though my parents thought their food was pretty good. You order your food at a register then sit at one of the tables they have in the dining area. The woman at the cashier was not really able to answer questions about their beef stroganoff, which should have been a really big sign. I nervously agreed to try it and sat down. Everything seemed sad, dated, and a bit beat up. When my stroganoff arrived, it was immediately obvious that it was not stroganoff, with its rich, creamy wine sauce. It looked like someone stirred a brown gravy (and is that a bit of lard flavor I taste?) into the rotelli noodles. There were a decent amount of mushrooms and the beef was tender, as it should be. But it was very disappointing as it was not beef stroganoff. The waiter was prompt with refills, very courteous, and watched to make sure we didn't need anything. I should have gone to Noodles & Co and gotten their never-fails-to-wow beef stroganoff. Lesson learned.

You wouldn't think it would be hard to find GOOD pasta for a great price. Noodles was excellent! Our first time here tonight. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the husband had spaghetti with Italian sausage. Based on other recommendations, we also got an order of the garlic cheesy bread... HOOO what a great idea that was. Such a yummy dinner. Cannot wait to have it again.

Do not order the meatballs and tomatoe sauce! Seriously terrible. Dry and very salty! Chef boy rdee might be better! Cheesy bread fantastic...Caesar salad not very good either. Great lemon cake!

Great place for quick, and very well made pasta dishes. Casual family atmosphere doesn't make this place too stuffy for kids. Husband loved the Cajun shrimp dish, had a little kick to it. Garlic bread was substantial, with cheese and herbs... Not like other restaurants with renditions made with less effort. Kids menu is equally as good and tasty. We can't wait to try to everything else on the menu!

I got stuck working late and needed takeout on the way home. I looked on yelp and was reminded that his place was in my path and a reasonable option. I called it in and they said it'd be ready in ten. I asked for twenty and got there in 25. I waited ten more minutes. I didn't really mind. I'd rather take home hot food than have it sit there and congeal until I showed up. Clearly they do lots of takeout, a lot of people were zippping in getting their bags and leaving. Counter people were nice. The place was clean and pleasant enough. There wasn't anyone eating in. They have a good amount of choices on their menu and have whole grain or gluten free.pasta too. Our food? Well, it was hot and for the most part tasted good. Our favorite was the Cajun shrimp penne. Spicy, a good 7-8 shrimp, nice flavor. The Caesar was good too. Enough for three of us. Princess didn't like the turkey in her mac and cheese and I wasn't a fan of my Thai chicken noodle dish. The sauce tasted like teriyaki sauce and the chicken was precooked strips probably from a bag and the pasta and veggies were a little limp. Some crispy tender broccoli or something would have helped it. Princess liked the cheesey bread. It is kid friendly. Not garlicky. It has a nice texture though, as noted by others. My thoughts? My aging dad hates the food in his care facility. I keep telling him it's not going to be like home cooked or gourmet food. It's not bad. Its nourishing, reasonable, but not special. This place reminded me of that. A little bland, some sysco elements, not too expensive, not terribly memorable. A little like hospital food actually now that I think about it.Hospital food isok getting better so this isn't an insult. Its a low 3. ( Because the people were nice, nothing was really wrong, Princess ate all the salad and bread). I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but when I'm in the area and need to eat, it'll do.

My first time in and I'll be back for sure! Stopped in for a quick lunch intending to to eat half here and take the other half home for dinner. It's too yummy to stop. Ordered the bay shrimp in basil cream sauce, a house salad and a half order of cheesy bread. Everything is delicious. The pasta is perfectly aldente, plenty of sauce and shrimp. It's a new favorite! I LOVE that this is a mom and pop place that makes quality fresh food.

Oh my goodness, it was too good not to yelp about!! Love the inexpensive prices and home cooked food. The sauces and pasta are so fresh and full of flavor. The garlic cheesy bread is a must and only $2.25 for a huge order. I was going to take a photo but got distracted because it was so good that I forgot. Oh yes, friendly service too for this counter food restaurant. They do deliver the food to your table.

We have been stopping in here for years! We love the food! I wish we lived closer because it's so good! I also love when you can walk in a place and it is really clean, as well as the bathrooms. That really says a lot to me about a place! I have tried many different pasta's from here, so I can't tell you a favorite! They are all good!

This is a great restaurant for a couple or a small family of 3 or 4. I'm guilty of only getting the beef stroganoff with cheesy garlic bread, but it's by far the best meal I've ever had and have deemed it my favorite meal of all time! Parking can be tough (seating too), but it's always worth it to me. Fast service and absolutely fantastic waiters/waitresses.

Noodles is great! My wife an I were looking for a replacement for Pastini and we found it here. They have great gluten free pasta and deserts. When I came in to pick my order (that only took 10 minutes) the owner was at the register. He is very friendly and runs a great restaurant. I am Italian and I approve :) Great flavor! Great service ! Gluten Free Options

First time trying this place. We ordered the Greek pasta salad & the garlic shrimp fettuccini in a citrus sauce & then shared both dishes. The best Greek pasta salad I've ever had and the garlic shrimp dish was cooked perfectly...fresh lemon to squeeze over the top and the shrimp not over cooked. Very generous portions and prices are reasonable. Under $25 for two people with drinks and leftovers for lunch the next day. We will definitely be regulars!

Delicious! Seafood linguine was so good, super fresh scallops and shrimp. And not Olive Garden seafood portion either, it was a good ratio to noodle. And under $10! Unheard of. I'll be back for more. Garlic cheesy bread was unusually good because it was sourdough baguette. Yum! I also like that they don't overcharge like other places, it's just $1.95. I hate having a garlic bread craving and having to pay $5 for a few pieces of bread at Italian places. Gimme a break! Chocolate truffle cake ohhhhhhh please can I have a whole cake?!! It was like eating a wedge of milk chocolate Lindt truffles!! $3.75, steal.

I have eaten here a handful of times, they are actually in Raleigh Hills on the border of Portland off the Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. They are quite good, appear to be family owned and the service has been excellent. The Beef Stroganoff is delicious, they don't use a traditional noodle and the ones they use really hold the sauce, it is plenty for two folks. The salads are also very good, the greens fresh and don't have that bagged chemical taste. I have enjoyed every single entree I have had here. They also have gluten free noodles and whole wheat options. They also carry wine and beer and the entrees are very reasonably priced.

If you like pasta - you will LOVE Noodles in Raleigh Hills. This small family run business serves pasta dishes of the highest caliber. I go out of my way to go to Noodles when I want pasta because there isn't anywhere else in the Portland area that serves better tasting pasta. My favorite is the mac and cheese which comes with broccoli and turkey, but you can opt out of either of those if you wish. The garlic cheesy bread is delicious! The food is always served piping hot and with a smile. Everyone working there is focused on serving top quality dishes and excellent customer service. You can't ask for anything more. I've been eating at Noodles for 19 years and I plan to continue. If you want a really great pasta meal try Noodles because you won't be disappointed.

If I lived or worked close by, I'd revisit. But being about a 15-minute drive from our home, it probably won't be high on my list of places to go back to. It's a very small place and reminds me of the old Sizzler restaurants where you order and pay for your food, and then it's brought out to you. It's about the same quality as well: Decent., but not sit-down restaurant worthy. I tried the chicken piccata. It was a large plate of food, but the angel hair was overcooked and the sauce was very much like a heavy alfredo with mostly mushrooms and just a few pieces of chicken. I had to salt it to give it a splash of "flavor." I also tried their barley soup and it was very thick and warm on a cold night, but the flavor was not noteworthy. My daughter liked her mac and cheese, which she ordered without the broccoli and turkey. She also got the cheesy bread, which I felt was kinda boring as well. It needed garlic and seasoning, but the bread itself was a nice mix of toasted and soft at the same time. Just lacked flavor, which seemed to be a theme with all the food I tried. Given you order your own food and pay upfront, I was surprised at how nice the service was. They checked in and frequently refilled water at other tables. So I'd rate this as a nice "fast food" alternative, but don't come here expecting true Italian dining. It's just not that kind of place.

  • Christine S.

I could eat here EVERY DAY if carbs were higher up on the food pyramid. This would be a great place to pick up dinner and head to the park! The Inside is not charming, it's more of a take out place with a small eating area. The chicken basil in white cream sauce dish was ermergawwwd so good.

  • B R.

My biggest complaint for this place is that they aren't open sunday and mondays. The cheesy bread is to die for and a lot of other dishes. Every time you go in you see the same workers and they are so great and friendly.

    (5)
  • Mike G.

One of my favorite restaurants. It doesn't matter what you order off the menu because it is all terrific. Pasta, salads and cheesy bread are all great. The only issue I ever have here is trying to decide what to order. The owner is extremely friendly and always greets you with a big smile.

  • Taylor M.

I live close and have been to this establishment at least five times each time trying something new. I have yet to be unimpressed by a meal at Noodles. I strongly suggest trying this place out as soon as possible! Also, get an order of the cheesy bread with your meal!

I like whatever I have tried so far. Their alfredo and spicy shrimp. Will be cmg back for more! Wish they had more seating though. Its a pretty small place.

Been here twice now, both dishes I had were boring and ok. The Garlic Cheese Bread is good. The service is fast and friendly. It's a good option if you need something quick or are working late and can call it in on your way home.

Let's just say for well over a decade my family has enjoyed Noodles at least once a week. It was a must-have when I came home from college--the second meal I insisted on just behind mom's home cooking. Favorite dishes? Just about every single thing on the menu. Salads are always fresh and full of flavor with their homemade dressings. The Rotelli Pasta with Chicken (creamy marinara with sun-dried tomatoes), Angel Hair Pasta (with greek olives and feta) and Chicken Piccata (creamy, lemony goodness) are among my favorite entrees. Cheesy garlic bread is a guilty pleasure and the homemade desserts make the meal complete. Flavorful, fresh, consistent, easy.

  • Terry S.

Very good. I'm not a vegitarian and thought there could have been an ounce or so more in my (first two) two visits this week. But they compromised and make alfredo sauce as a substitute. The desserts are okay. Not hand made like 'Davidson's or Bipartisan' I see they have enough staff...more than the customers at times! Now aint that something.

The spinach salad was wonderful! So many pinenuts... I was in heaven!

  • Dale R.

Not what I expected, but very good food. The atmosphere is more like a fast food restaurant than a typical italian place. The noodle dishes my family had were all wonderful and the service is quick. You order from a window and the food is delivered to your table, but it's not like having a waiter to fill your glasses or check on your meal. Quick in and out, wine and beer, lots of parking, but limited seating. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed by the food.

Had the chicken alfredo. It was good for my tastes. Many of the best Alfredos, are so rich and buttery that you can feel your arteries screaming but this was just my type. It was canned chicken but I was ok with that for the price. The cheesy garlic bread was great and the ceasar salad was awesome and huge (we shared it) My wife had the Braised beef on Rotelli, which she really loved. Got out of there with 2 entree's, salad, cheesy bread, 2 teas for $30.00 Not bad. Something we noticed also. The inside was spotless. One of the cleanest floors, dinning areas we've seen. I'll definately go back.

Great service, decent food, hearty potion, but I won't say I love it. I can see why people are in love with this place, its just quick and easy. However no match with fresh made pasta.

When your craving pasta and have no desire to cook this is a great find. They have a lot if options and the cheesy garlic bread is really gooey and yummy too! My only qualm is there hours, they close early and aren't open on certain days and half the time I end up wanting food from there on a day it's closed but that's just how it goes I guess :/

At first you see the big sign that says "Noodles". When I see that I think of Asian noodles but this is more pasta noodles. Been here twice so far but only when passing bye it, didn't go out of our way to go there.

Chunks of real garlic in your garlic bread?! YES. PLEASE. I'll take a full order of that! Mmm, fresh, hot and delicious at that! My bf and I also tried their pastas which were pretty tasty, he had the beef stroganoff and I had the braised beef with rotelli pasta. The stroganoff was creamy and subtle and the braised beef had a red wine sauce that was pretty tasty. All in all, I think we thoroughly enjoyed this place and if ever in the area again, we will try some new dishes out! Prices for lunch are great but I wonder if the portions are as big. The regular portions are enough to to-go your food for a midnight snack btw!

The food was ok. The tossed green salad was pleasant and it was plentiful for a light meal; quite a deal for $3.50. The garlic cheesy bread were a little stale otherwise good. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was ok. Pasta was a bit dry and the chicken looked like those frozen chicken strips from a bag. Edible but not impressive. The lemon cheesecake was rich and creamy but the sauce on the side was kind of stale. There wasn't much service to speak of. We ordered at the counter and paid then they brought out our food. It was inconvenient to get refill on water/drinks or anything (e.g. extra napkins) because there was only one person at the counter and often times he disappeared. The Mr. Bean-look-a-like guy was...unpleasant. Not worth the drive for us. Just a note, it is difficult to turn in if you're heading SW on Scholls Ferry Rd. I will take my business elsewhere where my baby and I feel more welcomed.

Outstanding food and fast service. The employees hustle but are polite. The garlic bread and any noodle plate is the way to go. If you call ahead, it will be ready when they tell you and the owner will move you to the front to pay while they people waiting are being helped by another employee. I wish more places did business this way.

Came in town for a night and stopped in here because of the reviews! So glad we did. It was absolutely amazing!! Wish I had a Noodles where I live. The whole dinner for my son and I was $13.00. Wow! The portions are nice and big and the bread was delicious! We will absolutely be back next trip!!

I used to eat there at least once a week! Now I don't work close by so only make it over there 3-4 times a year. Cheesy garlic bread with everything on it is my favorite. Thai chicken pasta is always good and the desserts are all yummy! The service people have all been there forever which says something about the place! If your in the area a good always meal just no frills in the surroundings but very clean!

I happened by this restaurant completely by accident, as I had time to kill before a hair appointment and needed some dinner. I chose the Garlic Shrimp Fettuccini and it was Ah Maz Ing!!! From ordering to eating was 7 minutes. The food was fresh, hot and seasoned beautifully. I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Wonderful!

Okay, found my "to die for" dish last night....and much to the bf's gloating, it's his beloved Chicken Piccata. He loves it so much, so why didn't I try it before? Well, it's full of mushrooms, and I don't like mushrooms and they seemed to be enough of a focal point to the dish that it didn't seem right to say "no mushrooms please." But I did, and I am glad. The lemon cream sauce is luxurious and velvety, rich without being overwhelming with just the right amount of tartness from the lemon. It comes with half a lemon on the side, which I liberally squeezed over the whole dish and it really brightened up the chicken. The capers add a nice background note as well. First time I've cleaned my plate at Noodles. I'll be back for more, and soon. Oh - and everyone that works there is as nice, friendly, and accommodating as can be. Bumping to 5 stars.

Stopped for lunch because I was in the neghborhood today. Service is great. Prices are reasonable. Very clean restaurant. Pasta is just OK. Nothing special. Had chicken piccatta. Traditional chicken piccata has neither creme nor mushrooms and the chicken is fried not just baked. Not bad for being different but not up to my standards. Watery sauce/under seasoned in general. Good for a stop once in a while or if you are near but not worth a special trip. Have to ask for bio-degradeable take out containers. I understand the economic angle but why single out the people that want to use biodegradeable take out bags? Maybe make people ask for petroleum based plastic instead?

I think most people will love Noodles. In fact two of my favorites gave it five stars. It's under the radar, has great service, generous portions, reasonable prices, beer & wine, awesome garlic cheesy bread, and decently prepared pasta. But, it's all just okay to me. I'd eat here again if I was in the area, but because I can get authentic Italian food at Taste Unique ( yelp.com/biz/taste-uniqu… ) I doubt I'd go out of my way to return. As mentioned above the Garlic Cheesy bread is a must order here, warm, crusty, cheesy, delicious. I'd pass on the too heavy Tiramisu though. Honestly I'm just super particular when it comes to Italian food. I found the Seafood Linguine a little watery and slightly over cooked, but still finished it (so I didn't not like it, just didn't love it). I don't think the goal here is to be super authentic (otherwise there definitely wouldn't be cheese on the seafood pasta), but that's just what I prefer. Anyway, nice people, affordable prices, and decent pasta. Worth a stop if you're nearby, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Staying at the Embassy Suites in Washington Square and looking for a local place to eat. Found this wonderful little restaurant on Yelp. What a gem! Very clean, friendly owner and staff, the food was top notch. Fresh ingredients, excellent preparation and quick to the table. We had the side salad which was big enough for four, cheesy garlic bread *soooo yummy!* and seafood pasta. We took our dessert home and I cannot wait to dig into them. Almost wish this place was a chain so that I could have one at home! Portland, what a lucky place you are to have Noodles!

I love this place. Much better than the noodles and co. chain restaurants. The garlic Cheese bread here is the best that I have ever had. It is the main reason I go. The marinara sauce is chunky with real chunks of tomato. Freshly grated cheese always tops your pasta. It is casual dining so if you are looking for something fancy this might not be it. They do take out as well.

Wow -- that was really tasty, and just 5 miles down the wind-ey road from my house?? $9.00 for the best garlic lemon cream pasta ever?? Add on a fresh garden salad with a nice vinaigrette, and the cheesy-bread of course, and we've got ourselves a go-to place for when the carb-craving hits. Which has been fairly often in this damp dreary weather we've been having. Noodles, where have you been all my life?

I've been wanting to give Noodles 5 stars for a while now. I love Noodles. It's close to my house. It's CONSISTANT. The people that work there are wonderful! I just don't know what I'd do without them.

I live close and have been to this establishment at least five times each time trying something new. I have yet to be unimpressed by a meal at Noodles. I strongly suggest trying this place out as soon as possible! Also, get an order of the cheesy bread with your meal!

Been here twice now, both dishes I had were boring and ok. The Garlic Cheese Bread is good. The service is fast and friendly. It's a good option if you need something quick or are working late and can call it in on your way home.

Outstanding food and fast service. The employees hustle but are polite. The garlic bread and any noodle plate is the way to go. If you call ahead, it will be ready when they tell you and the owner will move you to the front to pay while they people waiting are being helped by another employee. I wish more places did business this way.

Enjoy

I could eat here EVERY DAY if carbs were higher up on the food pyramid. This would be a great place to pick up dinner and head to the park! The Inside is not charming, it's more of a take out place with a small eating area. The chicken basil in white cream sauce dish was ermergawwwd so good.

One of my favorite restaurants. It doesn't matter what you order off the menu because it is all terrific. Pasta, salads and cheesy bread are all great. The only issue I ever have here is trying to decide what to order. The owner is extremely friendly and always greets you with a big smile.

We have been stopping in here for years! We love the food! I wish we lived closer because it's so good! I also love when you can walk in a place and it is really clean, as well as the bathrooms.

Wonderful!

I love everything I have ever tried here! The Mac and cheese is amazing. I also highly recommend the Thai chicken linguini. And the cheese bread.

It's a little place, with about 10 tables, so most seem to do carry out, but eat in or carry out and you won't be disappointed. Their garlic cheese bread goes awesome with all the dishes. My fav is the mexican beef pasta. Wow. What a delight to the taste buds. The staff is fast, efficient and always friendly. The place is always clean and we have never had a bad dish. Treat yourself to some awesome pasta dishes.

Enjoy

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
