Customer service is great. Great breakfasts. Friendly happy people. Clean. Homey feel.

if you are not over 21, they probably won't let you in. If this is considered a restaurant then it should be relabeled as pub/bar or the like. Not a family friendly (with kids) place.

First off, this isn't a restaurant. It's a dive bar that serves food - the name is rather misleading. That being said, the simple breakfast was quite good - crispy hashbrowns, thick bacon, fresh biscuit, ect. The place, however, is a dump. Video poker and slots everywhere, ripped cushions on the chairs, things like that. The service was also kinda slow considering there were only four patrons and we ordered about as basic, simple food as we could. Place is fine, but it should be billed as what it is, a dive bar, not a restaurant.

This place has a really nice 'local' feel. Nothing out of the ordinary but their breakfast is very good but the service is a bit slow. I would go back again.

Small little place great for the local regulars. My drink had bugs in it the bartender said it was an old bottle they were trying to empty. She didn't throw it out. When I left I looked and the bottle with bugs in it was still on the bar, waiting to get the next patron sick.

They serve breakfast and lunch from 9am to 2 pm. Their portions are big and the chicken fried steak is good. The staff is friendly but the overall atmosphere is horrific. Then again the majority of the time it is a dive bar with slots. Okay place to eat if you're snowed-in in North plains and desperate. As bars go, it's a pretty awful bar.

Nice local gem. :) My family and I often go here a few times a month and it has a dish for everyone. The portions are generous, so typically one can be split between two of us. I really appreciate how quickly our order is taken and how fast our coffee cups are refilled (I am a big coffee drinker and this is a most if it is before 10am). Thanks!

On a discovery day to North Plains, stopped here for Sunday lunch. Sat at the counter and met several friendly locals. Waitress has been there 23 years, knows everyone and the scuttlebutt around town. My BLT was good. Decor could use a bit of a face-lift, but hey, it's a genuine small town diner (and bar at night?). So, if you go with that experience in mind, it can be an enjoyable option.
