You want to fight? You want cheap booze? You want bar fly women ready to go home if you have a nice car? Perfect and also just a fun place to hang for a bit. Nothing fancy just a grungy coastal bar. Stay away yuppies you will not like it. Regular folk will have a good time here.

Great fish!! Standard bar fair. Terrible mixed drinks!! Do NOT order a bloody mary, you will be disappointed! As was I, I returned the drink with one sip from it and said that it was terrible!! When we got the bill she actually charged us for it!! Unbelievable! Oh well though, I didn't tip! Hopefully she learned a lesson in customer service.

Ah...Moby's Dick...or Moby Dick's...whatever you want to call it. Another perfect, salty dive bar in Newport. I was driving along the 101 when I saw the sign, and knew, no I was demanded from a higher power, to stop in an experience this glorious place. And I was not disappointed. Coasties, cheap beer, pool tables, and a jukebox with all the selections a crazy girl could dream of. Make sure you stop in!

Full of friendly people, even on a Monday night! Drink specials under $5. Big banner says "Nightly Karaoke". Lots of microbrew on tap.

Fish and chips: Think not. Fries were cold and the fish was too well done. And the beer smell was powerful

Next time you're in town in Newport check out this bar. They serve the best PNW microbrews and have pretty good pub fare as well. Good prices and service add to the charm of this nautically-decorated bar located directy on HWY101 in Newport.

Visiting Newport for a friends wedding and wanted something to do. Another person in the hotel suggested Moby Dicks. Had the best time ever. We even came back for a second night. Enjoyed every minute of the singing and the dancing. Friendly people, sweet people, a must go place. Nice security guard to help you feel safe ladies. We did not try any food but the drink were good.

Terrible place to go. Old bartender with a beard is a racist asshole and when I confronted him I was told to leave. Security guard acted like he was going to start boxing me and 2 other heroes got up to defend him. Security guard fancys himself a cop. Avoid this place. If your not a regular your not welcome.

If you could contract HIV from just visiting a place, here it is. You can tell it's a dive from 50 yards away. They have holes in the wall with mold coming out, how can they serve food here? Sure, the bartender was nice and speedy enough, but you'd seriously just have to get a shot or build up a resistance to this place in order to not get sick. Architecture by Helen Keller.
