Love this place! Did such a great job with the remodel and a great place for a burger and beer. Mark the owner is very generous and really cares about the community. The staff are always friendly and food is always spot on.

Best Clam Chowder I've ever had! Atmosphere is amazing. We had fish, shrimp and burgers, too. Off the hook food. Loved the fun and friendly feel to the place. We had a great time!

Excellent oyster dinner, great homemade onion rings, superior service...we really enjoyed the down home atmosphere, obviously a local hangout! Beer was cold and the place was clean. Highly recommend! (And there were obvious No Minors signs on the doors!)

We had a three month stay in Netarts bay. Summer 2015. Of all the places we are while there. This place was my favorite! Best and I do mean best BLT like I made it myself. . Thank you for making it for me at least 20 times. And it's not even on the menu. Hubby would go in grab a brewski and bring me home a BLT. Staff was always kind. Thank you Upstairs Bar And Grill! I've been here on a few occasions. It's a bar, but with GOOD food. If you're in Oceanside, Netarts it's the best choice for the price for sure. Kids aren't allowed, so that sucks. The Nacho is frakkin hugamongous, and my husbands favorite man-food in the area. The Shrimp plate is fantastic, slightly overpriced, but you throw in tourist-tax and it's reasonable. Drinks are good, service is great! Grill closes early. 8 or 9. No good for late night, in fact, if you're looking for late night options, get in your car, go to Denny's in Tillamook, because unless the Chinese restaurant is open, it's your only choice.

Way better than it looks from the looks on the road side, this local joint surprises in many ways. Strong drinks at a fair price and a standard but very well executed menu of classic beach town bar fare. Sliders, clam strips, fish and chips, fried oysters, all perfectly prepared and served efficiently in a pleasant wood paneled cozy bar atmosphere on a bluff overlooking Netarts bay. Horseshoes and a generous patio allow a great spot for lingering afternoons enjoying a cocktail with family and friends. Mostly locals who are mostly welcoming!

Hubby and I stopped in here on a whim while visiting Oceanside last weekend. As we walked in, we were promptly greeted by the bartender who asked if we would like to see some menus. We ordered a couple beers which she served to us right away and looked over the menu. Hubby settled on the jalapeno pepperjack burger with tater tots and I chose a standard burger with Tillamook cheddar and french fries. I asked for grilled instead of raw onions and was told that wouldn't be a problem. Our food arrived very quickly, almost making us a little leery. The french fries are hand-cut, and the burgers appear to be hand-pressed. Hubby and I both agreed that our burgers were excellent and full of flavor. My french fries were awesome. The tater tots were of the frozen variety, but hubby liked them. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service here. The locals were a bit rowdy, but it really added to the character and setting. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon.

This was our staple in our few days in Tillamook. Came in for the Spring Beach clean on Sat 3/28/15 and stayed through Tues at the local RV park across the street. Definitely a selling point since we didn't have to drive there. We were in here 4 times and at first I wondered if the staff even liked us when we walked in. I thought also because my bf is very boisterous and loud and that maybe they might look at us funny. Maybe they did think we looked funny at the very least. Don't worry, if you have a big talker in your party, you will get along fine. They love it when you sing at the top of your lungs (ya think?). Doesn't matter where we go, if there isn't Karaoke, BF makes sure there is anyways. If there is well, he's always on the list to sing. You won't catch me singing though, no way. Food was decent, ate here once and the staff was very friendly. This is a big place and they have a jukebox you can put money in to hear music, not sure if there is live talent that ever plays there, we never saw any. Take your time to check out the place and you will not be disappointed. Fun times all the way around and enjoyed!

Didn't realize this place is only for 21 and over. No signs in view until walking out. The lady at the bar yelled NO MINORS NO MINORS like we had the plague or something. Super unfriendly. Replied afterward, that we didn't know what she had against hardworking, hungry miners.

I never ventured in when it was "Michkos", but I understand the food was good then, too. Simply put, however, they have the best burgers around, outstanding pizza and great fish and chips. The place has been fully renovated and is a friendly, locals place that we always frequent when in Netarts. Did I mention the burgers were really, really good? Home made fries, great shrimp and chips...ahhh... Oh, when the weather is nice, you can sit outdoors, too. Great spot on the cost.

I think the best things this place offers for people who are not local are: a drinking establishment after most things close on the coast and cheap beer to go. In my experience the staff was inconsistent, one member terrific and the other unhelpful and unfriendly. There was a rush before us and we came in late but my first impression of this place is on the lower end of so-so. In retrospect I would have made sacrifices to go to either of the close places instead, though I will give Upstairs another try at an earlier time at some point down the road. I was very excited to try a new option at the bay. All in all, however, it didn't do much for this out-of-towner on first visit.

Inside is much nicer than outside. Anything we looked at in Tillamook was so Unattractive it was worth driving a little further to get a decent place to eat. The cook, bartender was really busy but still doing his best to please customers. His pizzas are nice, salad was also tasteful and fresh.

O.M.G. Fish & Chips? Yes, here. Bartenders are busy but really work hard to serve! We had a cocktail and I Yelped for fish & chips. My husband asked them where to go for f&c. He said, "Here." Reviews were positive. Reeeeeeally great fish and chips are served here! Fish is cod, fresh and flakey! Batter is beer and dipped to order. Fries are hand cut and beyond delicious! We split an order (we ate a late lunch). I wish I'd ordered my own, mostly. We will make one more stop here before heading home! It is THAT good! See for yourself.

Looking for a good place to eat in Netarts? depending on the time of year this may be your only choice. While on a long weekend in netarts for the first time my party planned to eat out for a couple of meals, and discovered there were only 2 restaurants to eat at and the weekend we were there this was the only place open. As far as food goes the regular menu is standard bar fare, i had the chili burger (exactly what expected and was very large portion) overall was pleased with this choice. Wife and friend got the chowder and were both equally unimpressed. As far as appetizers we got the cheesesticks and nachos and both were great! The staff was friendly and very accommodating and i was grateful they accommodated a large to go order. Our second time eating there we just ordered a pizza and this is where they really blew us away. We were both expecting something totally different then what we got, quality of ingredients and presentation was amazing, as was the pizza, will definitely eat there again just for their pizza.

Stopped in to enjoy some drinks and socializing with old friends and was really pleased! The bar is very nicely decorated spacious and is very clean. Outside features a Horseshoe pit and a great firepit. The staff is outstanding and went the extra mile by lighting the fire outback to make our visit just perfect. Thanks we will be back!

An oasis for the famished and thirsty agate hunter. Nothing too fancy, but in the high surf and howling wind of The Ides Of March on the Oregon coast, a welcome respite. Warm and fuzzy like a teddy bear, and right off the highway. I'll eat here next time and report as to whether it's pork rinds and Hank Williams, or ... well .. you wanna see my agates?!?!?

Formerly known as Michko's for eons, new owners have remodeled & the result is great! I have eaten- burgers, fish & chips, fish sandwich, chowder & onion rings- all super tasty! Rings & fish are beer battered to order! Choose tots for a side & get a pile! Good slaw too! All your favorites on tap & in the bottle, horseshoes out back, sports on tv, video poker.
