The pizza here is pretty good, but not excellent. It's definitely better than dominos or pizza hut pizza, but I would say it's pretty run of the mill pizzeria style pizza. However, the brew choices are phenomenal. I love a good microbrew, and Yeasty's has plenty to choose from at a decent price (~$4). Usually, I need to drive to Corvallis to find a decent selection of tasty quaff's, so I'm glad to have something this close. So, I would whole-heartedly recommend this place to someone looking for good atmosphere, excellent beer, and a pizza. I would NOT recommend this place to someone just looking for a pizza.

What a fun place! We've been twice now and both times the waitresses have been enthusiastic and helpful. The breadth of beer on tap is a welcome touch (Dogfishhead!). And the pizza is above average. Nice to have a place like this in a small town.

Delicious! We were drawn in by the name, but we'll be back because of the pizza. It's great-- far better than anything in Salem or surrounding areas. They also have a fantastic selection of craft beers, many of which are local. The bartender (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) is very friendly, happy to let you sample several, and overall very well versed in the world of craft beer. Yum. We'll definitely be back soon!

We love the beast! Pizza is delicious! Everyone is super friendly! Great beer selection! We have come many times and never had the same pizza! We love to come in on a date or bring the family :)

As visitor from California I would say the Yeasty Beasty is good. For Monmouth it is excellent! The food was good, the atmosphere is chill with live music (at least on saturday night there was). The service is excellent, the waitresses that helped us were very attentive, but not overly and they made sure that everything was ok. I think that their customer service really helps them out. Apparently they have all kinds of micro-brews on tap as well, but I don't drink so I couldn't vouch for the quality of that. Will most definitely eat there again.

There are many standard things that every college town (except Monmouth) has. A good pizza place is one of those things that has been missing for the last 10 years. No more! Yeasty Beasty just opened (August 2012), and it's great! This evening I had two slices of the Combo #2, it was far and above the best pizza I've had in Oregon. The selection of beers is awesome - probably the best in town. Free wi-fi and good lighting are nice bonuses, too. Quit suffering the industrial cardboard that calls itself pizza around here and come down to the Beasty - you won't be disappointed.

First I must say I love food. So when I drove by and saw the name for this place I decided I did not want to go here. One night I was very hungry and wanted some place close. So we gave it a try. I am very glad I did. I typically do not eat the crust of the pizza. I have never found one I like. This was the first time I ate it all. My dogs were disappointed and have been every since I switched to this pizza parlor. No more scrap crust for them. Which is not entirely true the owner gave me a couple slices for them one night after I told him the story. I easily give them 5 stars because I also think service is extremely important. I won't waste my money somewhere that the people treat me rude. When I go here to eat I always feel like Norm on the tv show Cheers. They act like I am the most important person that walked into their parlor that day. They don't know my name but they do say DOG LADY in the same fashion. I know a lot of times my neighbors and I will be sitting around and we will just mention Yeasty Beasty and one of us will have to go do a pizza run. They also have a really really good Tiramisu. I would highly suggest saving room for that. In fact I would start with that while waiting for your pizza to arrive to your table.
