I'm not sure what the other person reviewing Lil Pantry was expecting, but since I've lived in the area for over 20 years as well, and I loved Dave the previous owner, I have to say the place is head and shoulders a much nicer store now. Dave never served Pizza that I was aware of, only the usual deep fried array of Corn Dogs, Jo Jo Fries, Chicken Strips, Chimis, Burritos etc... Nothing special, just deep fried mini market food. There was even a French lady there for years that put celery in everything like lasagne and spaghetti! Yuck! Since being bought by Dale the store has been fully remodeled and refaced, It's clean, classy and modern for a mini market, and the Deli has actually expanded quite a bit. Sure it would be great to have a gourmet pizza, but seriously, it's a Mini Market?? They do what a Mini Market does best and provide a huge selection of Beer, Soda, Energy Drinks, Candy, and a few of the last second "I don't want to drive to Grants Pass" items to get you by in a pinch like a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. The sandwiches aren't bad, the breakfast egg muffins and burritos are awful and turn into instant gut bombs, but again, it's a MINI MARKET. I'm glad that Dale invested in this little store, and it's a very well laid out and convenient market to grab a few essentials.

Just got a sandwich from the new location in Rosburg and it is garbage 8 dollars for a dry piece of bread and one lousy thin piece of meat. I've been getting sandwiches at lil pantry for years but the inconstancy is terrible. I asked the lady if she was going to weight the meat and she replied "oh I've been doing this a year I can eyeball it." ?!?!? And the result is a crap sandwich with little to no meat on it. Waist of time and money.

A good place to go for snacks. Also, if you want to see what a meth zombie looks like. Hang out there for awhile.

It's a nice little store. They have good beer selection and it's not outrageously priced like at most mini marts. Can't say a whole lot for their clientele (the kind of people who complain about the quality of mini mart pizza). The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Okay this is the thing! Maybe they don't deserve the one star...maybe two. HOWEVER...When Dave owned the place it was perfect! Now it is only....okay! Actually the Pizza sucks big time and we have lived here over 20 years. We have never had Pizza this bad EVER! The Pizza is so bad it reminds a person of cardboard!
