Ah, Sonic. The fast food place where you not only don't have to wait for your food, but you don't even have to leave the car to get it. Ultimate laziness ftw. I tasted the chicken strips, sweet potato tots, and onion rings. The chicken strips are sizable pieces. The sweet potato tots are very good without any sauce because then one can really appreciate the natural sweetness of the starch. The onion rings pass the test of tasting freshly fried, but not raw inside--I don't like it when I bite into an onion ring and end up drawing the whole strip of vegetable out of the breaded casing. One note is that I didn't really like the more special sauces they offered, including BBQ, sweet & sour, and honey mustard. Ketchup and regular mustard are probably safe, but for some reason the fancier dips all left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. Overall, I think it's impressive that we spent $12 on dinner for 4 people.

Food isn't good at all but the cherry limeades, especially during happy hour is amazing! Super refreshing too! even if you place an order though they make you pay for a courtesy cup of water!

Got a bacon bretzel hotdog and drink. I enjoyed the drink. I didn't like the hot dog. Some douche kept smoking right next to me. It was gross. The hotdog had no bacon so I sent it back. The second hot dog was not very good. Alright fuckos sonic sucks. I am not sure why I ever came here.

The food is DISGUSTING. I would almost rather eat McDonalds than Sonic. If I were on a desert island I might actually choose to starve than eat either. So the three stars? Only for the Cherry Limeaid. On a 100 degree day in Medford, there's nothing more refreshing (or reminiscent of a daquiri) than a Cherry Limeaid.

Avoid at all costs if you have any taste buds. Can I give this place a - star rating. Pure Crap, the worst food I have had from a chain in 50 years and that is saying something. Look for used gum in the gutter before you waste time going here, A total disgrace.

Delicious strawberry shakes! Love their tater tots, like the burgers. The roller skates add an interesting novel touch, like WAY back when :)

Everyone one has bad days, but to be spoken to as if I was a toddler, or as if English was a foreign language to me....unacceptable, no matter what. Do not insult my intelligence by talking down to me. Who the hell do you think you are? If he was my employee, he would be kicked to the curb.

Going through Medford and we needed a quick lunch. Two hot dogs and drinks for under10$. First pretzel bun I have had. They did taste like pretzels although they didn't have the pretzel crunch. Sonic has good quality meat in their dogs. Almost as good as the $1.50 hot dogs at Costco. Good, quick service.

Slow and impolite, not enough ice in the limeade, and the food was just bad. Worst sonic ever.

Dear Sonic. Stop playing your commercials in areas where there is not a Sonic! Like in Alaska and most states! I just moved down and drove to Medford to check out sonic it's ok food at a fair price. Its a fast food place if you want better food go to a local spot!

Similar to a lot of people, only reason I came was b/c of their famous commercials. This was my first time eating at Sonics. I pulled up to one of the parking slots, pushed the red button and ordered a breakfast toaster (texas toast with cheese/egg/sausage), fresh onion rings, and an oreo sonic blast. The breakfast toaster was meh, I suppose I should've ordered something more exciting. Their onion rings was good and I liked the "french fry sauce" that came with it which is something I've only heard of after moving to Oregon. It's just ketchup + mayo mixed together? Anyhow, it was pretty good. Then I had the oreo blast - it was more like...oreo ice cream but with bigger chunks of real oreo cookies. Only thing missing would be cherry on top of the whipped cream like they do with oreo shakes at jack-in-the-box. It was interesting to watch the guys bringing out the food on their skates while I sat in the car for about 30-40 min enjoying my food while staring at the road in front of me. I'm not sure if I would come back for their fast food style burgers in the future, but I might check out their slushy/specialty frozen treats next time.

I didn't know what to expect when I got here. I think the only reason I went was because I see so many commercials I just had to go. First off I was forewarned by my fellow friends to not try the burgers seeing they aren't up to par, so instead I settled on mozzarella sticks and a strawberry slushy. The food itself was just good you can't really mess up mozzarella sticks and the slushy was good too. I notice they are more well known for their drinks as they should be. In all, on my next roadtrip to Washington I'll make sure I stop here again!

The best thing about it is they bring it to you, bad food fast, some weird greesy tasting food, not normal.

There were only three highlights of our trip to Oregon: 1. seeing family, 2. going on a jet boat tour of Hell's Gate canyon and 3. eating at Sonic. You're probably wondering why #3 would be eating at a Sonic, right? Well, you see, with the bf and I being from the bay area and seeing those oh so funny Sonic commericals on TV, but never being able to go to one because there isn't one around the Santa Clara County area, always had us craving their food. When we were up in Medford driving around, we spotted a Sonic and vowed to go before we headed back home to CA. The experience of driving up, parking and ordering food was so cool (atleast we thought so), we took pics of us ordering food at the telecom menu board. Their food wasn't bad either. My favorite is the variety of different drinks they have to offer. Not your typical soda fountain drinks. This is a must try if you've never been to a Sonic's.

I saw a Sonic on the way up to Oregon (in Anderson) so I knew that I wanted to eat there on our way back to California but as we were driving back I found one sooner!!! and it was a brand new one because they don't even have a real sign on the shopping center yet, just a banner. The shopping center looks new as well. I never knew Sonics were drive-in restaurants because we don't have them in the bay area... but I knew that I've always wanted to eat at one because I always see the commercials... and now the commercials make more sense because they seem to always take place in a car. You place your order into the sign/menu that you park next to and a roller skating server comes and brings ur food. I think it's so cool that they roller skate over to your car with the food. It takes you back to before I was even born when they were doing this as an everyday thing. I tried my husband's hamburger and it was pretty fresh. He said the meat was a lot better than any other fast food he's ever had... the portions are pretty big as well. I got the chicken sandwich on the texas toast bread and it was really good! The fries are fresh and so are the onion rings. The batter on the rings were a little too sweet for me. I also got the reeses peanut butter cup sonic blast and that trumps a mcflurry any day. My husband got one of those slushy drinks and it was way too sweet and artificial for me. All in all it was really good and a fun experience.

This was our first time eating at Sonic. The chili cheese tots are excellent. The slushes are a bit sweet but refreshing on a hot day. Friendly folks... how fun when they deliver your food on skates!,
