After a couple disappointing trips to Red Lobster, I hesitated to ever go to this one again. After seeing the ads for Crab Fest, my mom and I went to the Crab Fest a couple weeks ago, looking forward to getting the crab meals that looked like the ones that were advertised. It was sooooo disappointing. I had a dish that had Snow Crab, King Crab and Crab Alfredo with side of Caesar Salad. The King Crab was so small and skinny, I asked the waiter if it was legal to harvest them that small. Most were smaller than the Snow Crab! The waiter brought me a small dish of more crab that was supposed to be King Crab, but they were not any bigger, only more of the same. We spent about $70 on dinner, but was worth about $20 for both of us. At least the cheese biscuits were great. I know I'm gonna pass on their Shrimp Fest now.

My parents and my husband and I came here to Red Lobster right before catching a flight. Since we were headed to Europe, we wanted something satisfying and filling since we knew the next 20 hours were going to be peanuts, stale bread, and tins of half-cooked mystery meat. Well, I have to say, Red Lobster did not disappoint! After being seated, our waiter Eric asked us if we had any time constraints, and we said that we had to be at the airport by 2pm (in an hour). He said that wouldn't be a problem, showed us the specials, and got our drinks....BRAVO!!!! What a novel idea...come to think of it, that's the first time I have ever been asked that at a restaurant...if we had any time constraints....YES!!! SUCH A GREAT PRACTICE! I know this would have been a Godsend if I heard it on my lunch hour when we are trying to drive somewhere, eat, pay, and get back to work all in an hour! THANK YOU! I really appreciated him asking us this! So after the revelation, we decided what we wanted, and after taking our orders, Eric brings us the best part about Red Lobster...their most amazing, delicious, perfect cheese-buttery-garlic biscuits! I could seriously just eat these and be happy....they are soooo goood!!!! So we had plenty biscuits, and then our food comes. My husband and parents all had their 3 entree deal for $15.99, its a great value and you get a lot of food for the price. They all had lobster mac n cheese, and some other shrimp dishes that looked good as well, everything was spot on and they were happy! I got two of their appetizers, the stuffed mushrooms and calamari, and both were very good! I also got a cup of their lobster bisque, which I actually got clam chowder, but it was good so I didn't mention the switch up. We were all happy with the food, it was good, hearty, and a lot of it for the price! The service was great too, Eric our server was great and attentive, and like he said before, he had us out of there within our hour time limit, with 5 minutes to spare! We were impressed, and he was definitely a delight. We visit Medford on the regular, and definitely wouldn't hesitate to return to Red Lobster again! Good food, great service, and prices that don't break the bank add up to a winning combination!

We can't seem to stay away from this place, not that we want to. Since my first review, we have been back three different times. I must be trying to find something wrong with the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, we've ordered it three times and can't get enough. It is so very good! Driving the 70+ miles to eat dinner here is worth the time and effort. All I can say is Good Job, Red Lobster!!!

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere we haven't been. We went to this red lobster in Medford and had a horrible experience. We are from out of town and we had to wait 25 minutes for nothing. They kept letting people that just got there right after we got there get tables before us. I even tried to get someone's attention And they ignored us. So we left and decided to go to Olive Garden. Best decision ever!

Out on Saturday night and decided on Red Lobster because of crab fest. Anthony was our server- and he was outstanding and so very attentive. I decided on something I'd never had called salmon New Orleans - holy cow this was good! It is Cajun grilled salmon with shrimp on top with a yummy buttery sauce- then fresh pico de gallo on top of everything- I expected too spicy, but got perfect seasoning. The pico was the hottest part ( and that wasn't that spicy),the rest was just tasty! Partner had lobster and garlic butter shrimp- of course the lobster was excellent - he even got to substitute a second lobster tail for a small charge which was totally cool with us. Over all this was a really enjoyable meal and I will definately order this salmon dish again. The cheddar bay biscuits were divine as usual, but the seafood was amazing. By the way, every server here is great at customer service- we observed several and they obviously have a standard of customer service that has a high bar! Kudos to the general manager for taking pride in their staff.

I don't often find myself in seafood restaurants and I haven't visited Red Lobster in over a decade, but tonight's dining venue was a favor to Mom. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Not only were the food and service great, but the friendly staff went above and beyond this evening in a way I would never expect from a chain restaurant. During dinner, I was given a gift of a two night stay at a resort in Bend by my mother and forgot it on the table when we left. After calling and speaking to the manager, Debra, she and David spent over an hour digging through the trash to find my lost gift certificates. I felt terrible for losing them and was elated when they turned up. I couldn't be more grateful to the staff for putting in the extra effort. Now I can take my girlfriend of eight years on our anniversary trip! :)

Good service.... (though we stayed 40minutes past closing time). Well maintained restaurant. Liked their crab legs and lobster tails. Their shrimp dishes (wood fired shrimp, coconut fried shrimp) were so so. Salmon cajun (new orleans) dish was just average. Rice pilaf was okay... green beans were good, fries were good (though no salt). Chocolate Chip Lava: it's a cookie (with lots of chocolate chips) warmed up and served with vanilla scoop: still very good [not my wifes favorite] [had the misconception from the pic that it had only chocolate in the center]

After thirteen years we decided to try the Red Lobster franchise again. We may do the same thirteen years hence. It hasn't changed much. Basic uninspired seafood at mostly reasonable prices. Good service at this location.

Ok, let me start by saying I rarely ever give a chain restaurant a 5 star review. But this one... now this one was definitely deserved! We went to this Red Lobster as a little celebration dinner for my wife and I. Surprisingly they weren't to busy for a Saturday night. The waitress was super friendly, and brought us out some delicious fresh baked pieces of heaven.... I mean cheddar bay biscuits. Both my wife and I decided on this new little menu they have, 3 entree's for $15.99, comes with biscuits and a salad. I got the Almond crusted Salmon, Garlic/Herb Shrimp Skewers, and a Spicy Shrimp marinara pasta. My wife got the Salmon, Coconut/habenero shrimp, and Lobster Mac and cheese. For me the Salmon was awesome, the shrimp were very tasty, and the pasta packed a nice little bit of heat. My wifes coconut/habenero shrimp were AWESOME, easily my favorite thing. She loved the lobster mac n cheese, said it had some good size lobster chunks in it. Though it could use to be a little creamier. You can tell they are very interested in Customer Service, the manager spent a few minutes at our table just asking us how things were and chit chat. When we were done we had a TON of left overs, we asked our waitress if we could get a couple biscuits to go. She went and grabbed a few fresh baked biscuits for us. I have never been more impressed with a Red Lobster, we will definitely be back!

Went for the first time last night with a girl friend. Great service, location and food was excellent. It is everything you want in a very good restaurant. The food was piping hot when it came to the tables. I will go back again.

Lets be honest here, I get the same thing every time. Since we were traveling M came with me to dinner here, usually he refuses and I go alone while he is out of town. I had the Shrimp Scampi, coconut shrimp bites, fried shrimp and fries. It was the Tuesday shrimp promo for $15.50, my fave. M got the mahi mahi & shrimp skewers, he said his fish was overcooked. Mine tasted like it always does, hot and tasty. Plus I love the Cesar and cheddar bay biscuits. Our server Megan was super sweet, and admittedly new since M was asking her lots of questions about the menu and portion sizes. I thought she was lovely and did a good job, she even chased us out since I forgot to take my credit card.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever visited! While I used to love this restaurant, the food was amazing and I loved the bread. But recently me and a few friends went there to have dinner. We all know a guy who works there and we were hoping to see him. He wasnt there that night but we decided to stay and eat anyway. It took over 45 minutes for them to take our order and another hour and a half to get our food, our drinks were only filled three times (during our 3 hour stay). I could understand the slowness if it was busy, but we were some of the only people there. We ate (with no silverware) and even complained to the manager who just told us to leave. The next day after our friend got off work he told us the manager told the staff to give us bad service because we didn't look like "good tippers"

My wife and I had dinner here on 4-10-14. Approaching the front door, a friendly staff member greeted us by opening the door and inviting us in. We were immediately shown to our table and told who our server would be. The server arrived with menus and told us about the specials. My wife ordered the Dueling lobster tails and I ordered Fish and chips. She loved the lobster. The fish and chips were excellent. A large filet that was crispy and delicious. The French fries that came with my fish were very hot and crispy. I had a green salad that was also excellent. Cold, crispy and fresh. Usually when I want fish and chips, I go to Red Robin. But no more. The restaurant is clean, modern and quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.

So disappointed! Expensive and gross. Fish, crab and Lobster were not fresh. Waited a long time to save up for it for our anniversary, and was not worth it. We have went to better restaurants 1/8 the price. Would have given it one star if it wasn't for the service, which was the best thing about it. Thanks for wasting our money, Red Lobster.

Everything was very nice here, the food was good, the straight liquor i drank was a good price and of course, the biscuits were perfect... I sat in the bar, it was a relaxed atmosphere to watch some of the football game. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, good servers, good hosts. I personally like the hosts, which allowed my kids to pet the lobsters (no joke). The food was good, but not great. I expected more with regards to the food and especially for the price you pay for it. I liken Red Lobster's food to that of Olive Garden. They are owned by the same company, so maybe that is why the similar style and taste.

Recent additions to the menu (and a remodel that means many more booths) make the restaurant more friendly in terms of both food and atmosphere. Of course there is still plenty of their signature seafood but in addition they have added more chicken and beef items (and very good ones I might add). My personal favorite is the maple glazed chicken breast served with delicious rice pilaf and two sides. Yum.

I have not been to a Red Lobster for about 25 years, because the food was floating in butter. We decided to try it because of an ad with a menu that seemed like it could be healthier. The service was absolutely top notch, especially for a chain. The server recommended an appetizer (sweet chili prawns) which was awesome! Our salads came in short order, the bread kept coming, and soon, dinner. Totally impressed! THEN, we couldn't pass up the apple crust dessert, so took it home and enjoyed it later. Red Lobster now goes towards the top of dining choices in the area. We WILL be back!

I go here often and the food is always good along with the service. It is what it is. Never had bad service or food. I usually have some kind of fish and it is always cooked good. Wine and drink selection is good as well. If your looking for the Applebee's, Olive Garden, Red Robin type of restaurant you won't be disappointed at this Red Lobster.

The biscuits were the best part of our meal. Caesar salad had old lettuce (brown) in it. I don't know how but the cheese had no flavor. Chicken Parmesan had a weird rubbery texture. Same with the lobster. Crab legs were soft and couldn't crack half if them. We did have great service!

One of the best attractions for me is the biscuits that come before the meal. The lobster was not as good as other times, not sure if it is time of the year or what. Service is good.

I came in late on a Friday night by myself. Thanks Chase for the great service. I only had a cocktail and a cup of clam chowder. But I got full service as if I had a full meal. I appreciate not being rush and was to told by Chase to take my time and enjoy.. Last time I dined out by myself I was totally neglected at Outback in Medford.. It's nice to know at Red Lobster they care about you even if you dine alone ....

It's been awhile since I've eaten at Red Lobster, but we used to frequent Lobsterfest when we lived in Ohio. I usually avoid chain restaurants due to quality issues, but, it was, I was craving seafood, and RL was the only seafood restaurant open after 9pm. Small town problems... The restaurant is currently undergoing renovation, but still it was neat, clean and open. We were seated immediately at booth with a half wall separating us from a walkway and the semi-enclosed bar. There were few customers after 9pm on a weeknight. Chase was our server and was very polite and attentive. Gotta say, though, I'm not sure our 14 year old daughter appreciated being addressed as "little miss." Minor quibble. The beer selection is dismal with no local beers presented. Pretty sad here in the PNW where craft beer is a proud tradition. Salads are typical iceberg lettuce with the usual toppings; nothing spectacular. Spring greens would have been a pleasant upgrade. RL has done away with the balsamic and replaced it with blueberry vinaigrette; that's not the same, guys. The bread, of course, is delicious according to my companions. The dinners come out on huge plates and is, as per chain restaurant norms, way more food than anyone should eat is one sitting. Daughter ordered surf and turf and the steak, ordered med-rare came out very, very rare. Chase quickly noticed this and returned it to the kitchen for additional firing. She also got broccoli instead of a baked potato and Chase corrected this oversight when alerted. Spouse had Lobster Lover's Dream, which wasn't a great value for the $31 price since he was served such small tails. The shrimp Alfredo did not "knock [his] socks off." I had Wood-grilled Lobster and Lobster Tacos (which is actually shrimp and lobster), which came with rice pilaf. The picture on the menu for that dish was Maine lobster, but what I got looked and tasted like rock lobster. It was tougher and had far less flavor than the Maine and looked just like the rock lobster on my spouse's plate. Even the Maine lobster than my daughter and spouse got looked great, but was tough and dry. The rock lobster was even tougher and drier. The tacos were delicious -- standard flour tortilla, pico de gallo, some kind of spicy sauce with a few pieces of shrimp and lobster. The check for 1 beer, no starter, and three lobster specials came to a slightly over $100 including 16% tip. We expect seafood (especially lobster) to be expensive, of course, but we don't feel that the size and quality of the tails reflected a reasonable market price. Though the late-night service was adequate, the kitchen could have done much better. As such, we'll probably be looking at other local restaurants the next time we have a craving for seafood. Oh well.

Okay, I know Red Lobster is a chain restaurant, but I have never had a bad meal, no matter which one I go to. The Medford Red Lobster is big, clean and the service is polite and swift. The food is like all of the other Red Lobster's out there, but it always shows up hot and it always tastes good. Lately I have been there a couple of times and have been ordering the half of the seafood alfredo, which includes biscuits and a salad. It is more than plenty enough food. They also currently have the multi-course meal for $16.99 on their menu, which is an excellent deal, but is SO much food. You start with soup AND salad, followed by an entree (smaller than their average entree size) and finished with dessert. It is a lot of food, but a very reasonable price. We have ordered this a few times in the past and usually end up taking the dessert home for later. Red Lobster, despite being a chain, is a good bet for a nice meal, reasonable price and pleasant service and atmosphere.

Honestly the only reason I go to a Red Lobster is because my Mom is crazy about it and she like to go to lunch there. The wait staff is always extremely professional and never leave you with an empty drink. The food is a little on the low grade side especially for the prices, but shrimp baskets are always great with the complimentary cheddar biscuits.

Great food! Spendy though unless you do the "Feast" deal! $16.99 and you get soup, salad, entree, dessert and unlimited biscuits! The biscuits are to die for! Wait staff was great also. Bathroom stalls are a little tight though haha. :P I think it's cool they have live lobsters in the tank in the lobby too! ;)

I voted for Thai, but my son wanted to go here for lunch yesterday. It's close to the mall, where we were shopping, and is several steps above mall food, and he knew that if we left the area we'd be done shopping for the day. Smart kid. :) Excellent customer service, and was fairly quick for a Sunday at noon. In and out in about 45 min. As others said, typical chain fare. I could care less about ever returning...I like NON chain food and family-run places with higher quality, but it was what it is. I liked that the kids' meals were fairly healthy. My son chose the broiled sole and steamed broccoli for $5.75, which included a drink (and biscuits). Kids have a choice of either broccoli or oranges, which is awesome. I chose the stuffed sole off the lunch menu and was a little surprised at how skimpy it was for $9.75. It was a smaller piece of fish than my son's (remember, he had a kid's meal), laid over a mushy pile of "seafood" (supposedly crab and shrimp??, as the menu said, but was flavorless), and was served with a small mound of mashed potatoes. It had come with a side salad, thankfully, that came out earlier. When my white teeny plate arrived, it was white fish over white mush, served with white gluey potatoes. Exciting. (or not) The biscuits are decent, even though they're glazed in salt, and you walk out of there realizing why so many Americans have high blood pressure...it's a salt lick. If I ever end up in a RL again I'd skip the mashed potatoes for a healthier option, and won't assume that veggies are included. (The waitress offered to get me a side of broccoli...but for more $$; I declined.) Oh, and the only salmon present on the menu was Atlantic. Gross. .

Always inundated with the TV commercials but the closest one to me is some 3 hrs away. Expected high prices and mediocre food but was very surprised the I got neither. I had an advertised lobster meal and Pam had the multi course special with coconut shrimp. Mine was fine but hers was great. She got all of the courses including desert for like $15.00 The coconut shrimp were great and the quantity was unbelievable. I am going to return just to see if that was a fluke. The service was fantastic and that, as always, has a serious impact on overall opinion. I would not hesitate to return.

All bad. Well I guess not all Red Lobster are created equally. Ive enjoyed my time at many establishments across the country. Yes this one sucks but they all dont. And sure they could have been haveing a bad night, but you only get one chance in these days and times. Then if you suck we are on yelp, blasting you on Facbook and telling all our friends and family how our experience was there and how we wished we would have just stayed home and had Dejornos. Well no tip for you. I doubt they even read this stuff. But maybe it will help you decide not to waist your time for Lobster Fest again.

Me and my dad stopped here to eat heading back to Southern Cali from Oregon. Well i was still in Oregon, but we had to get to Redding before the day was over. Well i thought there was a good amount of people in there and i heard about 3 birthday songs so i guess it's the cool place to have a birthday in Medford. So i was starving and so i had the Ultimate feast with a nice glass of water. You get a small lobster tail (i think it was it was from Maine), 4 snowcrab legs, garlic shrimp, some fried shrimp, mash potatoes, and a side salad. My dad got the cheese mushroom crab things or whatever as an appetizer. I personally had mushrooms so it was all his. I think everyone gets these chedder biscuits and they were good. I tried to only eat one because they were filling and i wanted to be able to eat my main course. The service was good, got everything we needed. We were in and out of there pretty quick. I just wanted to get to Redding to sleep and wake up early the next morning to drive back.

Wonderful service. We had the best meal of any Red Lobster we have ever been to. The service given by our waiter Rob - was beyond superior. We were seated very promptly and the staff was very attentive to all our needs. We really love going to this restaurant when we go to Medford. We met the General Manager - Ed and the other Manager. They were both very wonderful people and made us feel very much at home. We come from San Francisco and the only Red Lobster we have is in San Bruno which is really, really very inferior to this one. I have even told the management in San Bruno to go to Medford and eat at the Red Lobster so they know exactly how the food is supposed to taste. Keep up the good work - Ed and all the Red Lobster Medford crew.

Neither I, nor any of my 3 fellow diners, had ever been to a Red Lobster. I hail from San Francisco and they from Portland, we were all looking forward to our pre-concert dinner last Thursady. Arriving at 4:45 pm, we were promptly seated in a window booth by a very pleasant and attentive hostess. We all knew what dishes we were going to order before even entering RL. Our very efficient server arrived and kept up with our bantering and laughter, throughout our visit, like a seasoned professional. My drink, Bahama Mama, was a perfect combination of rum & fruity stuff that tasted like the best mango smoothie ever created. The girls' rum & cokes were strong and very reasonably priced. On to the food. The shrimp fettucini was bland & tasteless. The noodles needed HELP and the shrimp was insignificant. The garlic prawn scampi was slightly better so I had two servings, Janice had 3 and Lori & Nola each one. L&N both liked the buffalo shrimp and the other two deep fried offerings that they tried so they were pleased. I had to ask for "bread" and got biscuits. They were okay as was the salad A clean, well maintained restaurant with above average service, decent drinks and franchise food.

Red Lobster is what it is... a national chain selling unimaginative seafood dishes. If you have ever been to Olive Garden, another Red Lobster, or the like then you know what to expect. That being said... The cheddar biscuits are highly addicting. The service was actually pretty good. And my dining companions (my 89-year old grandfather and his two friends) were so very happy to have HOT food. As far as I am concerned anything is better than the food served at their retirement home's dining room. I mysteriously become verrrry sleeeeepy after eating there. In comparison, Red Lobster was a gastronomical paradise.

As always wonderful food and service. Finally was able to have a drink made with grapefruit juice! Nick our server was knowledgeable and answered questions.

(1)Daye C.
One of the best attractions for me is the biscuits that come before the meal. The lobster was not as good as other times, not sure if it is time of the year or what. Service is good.
(3)Caroline D.
Usually the service here is pretty good and the food as well. Our waitress took at least 5 minutes with everything, drinks, check etc. Would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the horrible waitress.
(3)Jill B.

(3)Sher G.

Gross. .

Usual red lobster fashion. Lobster tasted great. Service was great.

They were okay as was the salad A clean, well maintained restaurant with above average service, decent drinks and franchise food.

very good food, nice staff, pleasant service...although I'm not really sure why someone stands in the small entryway greeting you..because they do that 5 seconds later when you open the next door ..cool place love it
(4)Jen F.
