Amazing breakfast food, I had the eggs benedict and the smoked ham that cam with it was amazing. I usually get pancakes or french toast (which they also do incredibly well) but I decided to branch out. My boufriend had the border omlet and he loved it!

Parkside Cafe has always been great for us. The servers are expert and cheerful. Food is top notch and there is no problem with substitutions. Sure, it's a local hangout for the geriatrics crowd, but don't be scared. They don't bite.

Extremely friendly service. Wonderful food. My coffee cup never went less than half empty before it was filled up again. The waitresses visited with all of the customers. I had chicken fried steak that was cooked perfectly. This was our first visit to this nice diner and I think that we will become regular customers with each trip to Medford.

Visiting from out of town, my husband, son and I decided to stop here for breakfast. We were so glad we did! I'd like to start off by saying that we used to live in San Diego and frequented one of the best breakfast and brunch places there (top-rated on Yelp, voted best by locals, etc.). They have amazing eggs benedict dishes, but, Parkside Café's is better. I ordered their California Eggs Benedict bowl and it was by far the best benedict I've ever had. Their hollandaise sauce is so tasty. My husband ordered the pancakes and he said they were some of the best he had ever had as well. The only "con" I noted while we were there was that they were a bit understaffed. They could have used one more waiter or waitress. Other than that though, wish we could come back all the time!

Very cute has old school feel but very clean warm and inviting!! Cute patio and very friendly staff. Food very well priced, great portions and tasty for breakfast food.yes there are some older peeps as regulars; obviously they know something I didn't lol.... Till now

We have been here a handful of times for breakfast. It gets busy. We've always had good service. The food is ok. Their biscuits and gravy are a little bland. The place is in need of an update. The furnishings, floors, paint, are just beat up looking. There are a ton of regulars. Its basic diner food, and gets the job done when I'm hungry for eggs and potatos.

Nope! They Can't handle a rush. No liquor. :-(. But that's my bad for not paying attention.

No thrills no frills Coffee diner. Great service with a smile and your typical American diner food. Food tasted great potatoes were fresh not too early. And the price was less than $6 for a very filling breakfast. Yes I am in Medford again I will stop by here for breakfast.

Great greasy spoon. Breakfast served till 4, on Fridays at least. Super friendly server and great service. The Country Boat was exactly what i was looking for. Will definitely be back. Thanks Parkside!

The food was good and decent service

First I should say we visited 10am on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. This is a greasy spoon diner in all ways. Which I love and the waitress seemed friendly but very busy. The food took about 45minutes. I think I would have given them 4 stars if it wasn't so busy the breakfast I ordered was good the breakfast quesadilla but my boyfriends biscuits and gravy wasn't that great. All in all if you love old diners I think you'll like this place. There are only 3 or 4 tables outside so you'll likely have to sit inside

This was a nice little place around the corner from our house, and we were pretty pleased. Good food, good service, decent coffee, just be careful when asking for your bacon "crispy", it was a little bit burned.

Amazing Food & Service... one of our favs :)

Our friends Bill and Sue brought us here yesterday morning for brunch. It's the kind of old school breakfast place I love, w/ lots of regulars. The decor is replete w/ automotive oddities, from the veneer of a Model A, or maybe a Model T, mounted on one wall, complete w/ bumper, radiator, headlights and windshield, an inch or two thick. Toward the back of the room is a lighted wait/walk sign and at the checkout counter is a retired parking meter. On another wall hangs a variety of ancient cooking utensils. The menu is extensive and the service was old school fabulous. Our waitress took our order w/o writing anything down and remembered everything. She even remembered something she had forgotten the last time they were there. I ordered a biscuits and gravy combination plate and it was way too much food. I would order less next time. The sausage was good, as were the hash browns and scrambled eggs. I ended up leaving half of the hash browns and some of the biscuits. I don't remember what the others ordered, but everyone seemed pleased. It was a cool place.

Delicious food with a quirky atmosphere. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was divine! My husband's chicken fried steak too was delicious! It's a good place to relax and enjoy a yummy meal.

Here to visit and this was an EXCELLENT place to eat. Relaxing. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anybody. Order the pancakes... they are just as big as the plate ;) I will definitely eat here again if I'm in this area. You rock Parkside Cafe!!!

Definitely my favorite breakfast place in Medford. great food and service!

Road trip day 3: Definitely a locals place, says Mr B. No pretense, local memorabilia on the walls and a laminated flyer on our table that touts the history of Medford as well as a bunch of cute corny jokes. Good reading material while we wait for our strawberries and cream crepes, bacon and eggs breakfast. No Groupons today, just an enthusiastc referral by our motel desk clerk. The goodies coming out of the kitchen are good looking and healthy biggie servings. Glad we are sharing. Set us back about 7 dollars, no coffee. A lot of seniors here. Decent breakfast. Great waitress.

This place is actually somewhat difficult to get to from I-5, so if your passing through I wouldn't recommend it. The atmosphere is very..."local", which is good. We were the only people eating here who weren't seniors or obese, which says something about both the food and atmosphere. The staff seemed very friendly to the regulars but weren't so friendly to us. The OJ tasted from concentrate, the coffee was bland, but the omelette and hash browns were OK. There were puddles in the Men's room that I'm hoping were water... My girl says her food was "good", she had eggs, bacon and French toast.

My friend and I get together for lunch. It's a locals place, and yes - lots of seniors eat there. It has good prices and a cute menu. Our waitress was too busy to be friendly. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich. The waitress warned me that the turkey was deli, but that was ok. However, the bread was worse than Wonderbread, and it was soaked with a poor lackluster brown gravy. The mashed potatoes must have come out of a box. My friend's sandwich was really nice. Coffee reminded me of the coffee served in cafes in the 80's.

I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up here for breakfast one Sunday morning. I had the california bennieboat (sp?) I am picky about my eggs and I love runny yolks but cannot handle uncooked slimy whites so I was happy when the waitress not only didn't roll her eyes at my specific request (ordering them medium never seems to do the trick when I try it) and detailed explanation she was VERY accommodating and my eggs came back perfect. The second time I got the same thing and when she brought my plate she asked me to check the eggs before she left and they were under cooked so she took them right back and fixed it. She was super happy to make sure we were happy. LOVE their holindaise and coffee is good too!

Went for dinner with the hubby per usual. Were totally eyeballed by the regulars/family members sitting just in front of the door. Then the waitress came and handed us menus. Sat down and pondered the amatuer watercolors and totally dated feel of the place. Comfort food options on the menu I chose the mac and cheese and hubby got the ranch burger and curly fries. Mine was less than lukewarm, gross. Our waitress was nice and took care of it and I requested steamed veggies so it wouldn't just be fat and carbs. They came out steaming hot, thankfully and I enjoyed the mac and cheese not too salty. This place has American food plain and simple and its okay. They have All you can eat Spagetti on Sat after 4pm, we might give it a shot, since its only $8 per person and they are just down the street.
