Not going to lie every time I walk in all the open tables aren't cleaned yet, which is kind of gross but when I get the food it is always a great amount and it is very delicious!!! They do need to step up their coffee game too though! But overall it's a good old fashioned dive restaurant that reminds me of the restaurants I went to with my mom as a kid!!!!

The stars are all for service. One young girl covering the main dining room. She was working her butt off. Food came out slow as there was a large party in the other room. Waitress brought everyone fruit cocktail to ease to wait. She professionally managed a couple of old geezers who were more interested in talking to her than eating their food. Overall it was a tough crowd, but she did a great job. Fruit cocktail was not good, too much syrup. We ordered iced coffees, which were ok, very sweet. I had an omlet, hashbrowns and toast, my husband had the chicken fried steak special. My omlet was fine, nothing great, very cheesy. Hashbrowns were fine. Toast was way over buttered. I'm pretty sure the location is a formers Abby's Pizza, same floor plan and furniture. We will probably not be back. Too weird and the food was not memorable. A+ for service.

Avoid. The sign says seat yourself, so I did. And waited. The three servers were running around and loudly talking to each other but none of them said be right with you or anything. Then the younger server brought me coffee and took my order. It took at least 15 minutes, maybe 20 for my food to come out, and it wasn't all that busy. And after all that, the server didn't bring my check so after finishing my meal and waiting, I had to ask for it. I went to pay at the register, and one of the older servers was tapping away at the screen. She didn't look up at me, didn't say I'll be right with you, nothing. Just ignored me and then walked away. I paid and was happy to drive away from that place. The food was good but not good enough to put up with that. Avoid.

Really... The worst coffee I have ever tasted... Ever! And the eggs Benedict that I had this morning stayed with me all day - and in a very poor way... The service was rude - except for Carlos. Good work buddy.... I will starve before eating at Mrs Q's again...

Been going off and on to this place for the last 10+ years... Yeah a long time. Back when they were just South of McAndrews on Court. Anyway, their "new" place is much bigger, yet really needs a remodel. As a former pizza place, their "new" building isn't quite setup right for their brand of "50's throwback" grub. Speaking on that grub, that's where this place excels. Everything is always HOT and fresh, the service team is truly professional and attentive. Give this place a try, chances are you'll return. Good food, awesome prices, nice staff. Ahhhyyyuuuupppp

We had brunch here this past weekend...I hope the true breakfast faire is better. While my wife's omelet was rated as pretty good - but nothing special - my breakfast burger wasn't worth the visit. I really wanted this place to be good, but sadly, overall, the food lacked flavor, was served warm, and, at least my burger, was a bit greasy. The place was pretty packed so, as we expected, the service was slow. The staff members were friendly. The prices a bit high for the quality of the food served. We might go back...just to sample the pancakes...but nothing more.

Pancakes as big as your head and as light as can be, warm syrup, crispy hashbrowns and a ham steak that is enormous, eggs done perfect over medium. We will be back when in Medford!

As their sign says, "Voted number one, by our customers." In other words, those who only eat at Mrs. Q's think this place is the best. It's higher quality than Denny's, Elmer's, or "Restaurant" (aka Witham's), but everything about this place screams, "TYPICAL!" This is my Grandpa's favorite breakfast place and it's been around for as long as I've been alive. We overheard someone order a "strong" coffee and saw they got the regular coffee but in a larger glass. The hot sauce added no flavor to the boring, no-frills food. My girlfriend and I ordered an omelette and a scramble and received two scrambles. But our server was kind. She took our order correctly (I saw the ticket) and the cook blew it. She comped my coffee. A few regulars walked in and she had their orders memorized. If you like consistent, basic, easy service, this is a place for you. But for those of you who like a little more flare than a plain-jane, re-outfitted pizza joint, you may consider elsewhere.

The food is good, not great, but not horrible. But the bathrooms are filthy. Every surface is dirty. It is disgusting. You really need to clean your bathrooms from top to bottom.

In town for business and a local colleague suggested Mrs. Q's for a Saturday breakfast. This is a typical basic breakfast spot - good location, friendly service, and food that, while isn't particularly amazing, sure beats a fast food or Denny's breakfast. I had the Ham & Eggs - make that 3 eggs and a pound of ham steak! Breakfasts come with hash browns and toast, too. Hash browns were cooked fine, but I like mine with a little more crispy "skin" on the outside. My three eggs were cooked to over-medium perfection. The yolks weren't soupy, but still runny, and the eggs weren't slathered in a pound of butter (which I wholly appreciated). The coffee wasn't up to par (what can I say- I'm a coffee snob from Seattle - I love a deep, dark roast). My colleagues each had the breakfast sandwich and said it was tasty & very filling - that came with hash browns, too. My coffee was a little slow to be refilled, my OJ was forgotten and my toast came out about 5 minutes after the rest of my meal. Not a huge deal, but it wasn't a crowded morning. Despite that, the wait staff was very friendly and buzzed around the room, chatting up the regulars. I'd come back to Mrs. Q's - definitely in lieu of a fast-food breakfast. But this isn't the place I'll linger over the paper on a Sunday morning.

The perfect restaurant for those "I didn't get home from hemp-fest until 7am and I'm still pretty 'effed up" breakfasts. Why? Because the food is not too exciting, it's cheap, and it's fast. Did I mention it's better than Denny's? The waitstaff was especially friendly and patient with us, and that earned them top marks. Next time I roll home in the wee hours of the morn, I'll be back.

Ate here for the first time. Cute little hole in the wall place. Service was slow as there was only one waitress for 18 tables. She was friendly and did an good job though. The food was pretty good. It is a bit pricey for my taste. For a $12 breakfast including drink, I would like to think I would be pretty stuffed but alas I probably could have eaten another omelet meal. I will eat here again though.

Had breakfast here this morning and have been sick to my stomach ever since. Service was distracted. Owner or manager and waitress were talking about their customers as if no one could hear them..I ordered a beverage before The meal order and it didn't arrive until the meal did, I had to ask the waitress twice. I should have known better than to eat any of the processed sausage patty that was bigger than the one egg and one piece of French toast on the 7$ plate.. Egg was cooked right and French toast was alright, however the chunk of butter on top was as big as the bread, it would have been better on the side but that part I couldn't complain about. The hostess was a nice kid, the waitress was not so good... I used to love this place before it moved, now I would be happy to just not have to run to the bathroom every five minutes. Sorry, I like to support local business, but not a good experience. They could use a new waitress, use better quality foods that don't make people sick and do not to discuss business in front of the customers. We can hear you.

Awesome greasy spoon. We went a couple of weeks ago and had the breakfast basics with mimosas. Much more hip in the new location. Friendly staff and yummy grub. Go check it out!

Our first morning after moving to Medford we found Mrs. Q's by accident. I love diners and I ordered what I always order to find out if I will come back: anything with country gravy. The gravy was delicious on the Country Benedict which was an all around pleasure for my taste buds. The place was fairly full, the staff cheerful and engaged, and the food came out hot and fast. We have been back a handful of times and each time I leave very happy, and full!

Great breakfast place. The omelettes are well-made and the food is not greasy. Will definitely go back.

Stopped in Mrs. Q's on our way through Medford. Nice local dinner with home style cooking. Friendly staff, very accommodating to special orders.

This is a good place if you know what you are getting walking in. Mrs. Q's is a "no-frills" diner spot. If you are looking for just a straight forward, relatively in expensive food, this is your place. It's laid back. The service isn't super-friendly, but it's not unfriendly. The food isn't great, but it's pretty good. The layout of the place is like an 80's style pizza joint, with 50's type memorabilia on the walls. Kind of cool. This morning I was looking for a decent breakfast and cup of coffee without paying too much. Mrs. Q's did the job. I recommend it.

For what it is, I would say it's a 3 star. Their food is kind-of bland, but not bad. Nothing above average... Service was quick and...friendly?...they weren't rude, but weren't smiling either...no smiles... Pancakes tasted good, but the oil they were fried in tasted odd...fishy? not sure...but if you coat them in syrup and butter, they taste just like any other pancakes. I may go there again. Also, bring cash if you want to tip - you can't do it on a card...

Not horrible but not somewhere I will be going back and definitely not my favorite place in Medford. We were excited to try it because it looked neat and the previous reviews gave me hope that it was going to be a good meal. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. The were busy (which encouraged my hopes of a good meal) and i know that puts a strain on any server and cook but it seemed to be quite a long wait just for our 2 omelets. Server was abrupt and not particularly friendly. When the food arrived i was disappointed at how very greasy it was, and for an omelet with no meat and very little cheese as it turned out, i was at a loss to figure out where the grease was from. Also hashbrowns were soggy and greasy. Over all my food was cold and not very good. I guess if you like your food swimming in grease this is definitely the place for you. I did give them 2 stars because the ambiance is nice and it seemed that the other servers were attentive and friendly (i guess ours had a bad day maybe?) but we will not be going back unfortunately ...and i'm not confusing them with somewhere else

At Mrs Q's the food is excellent the service out of this world. I feel like I got a bargain for a very fair price. Everything is clean and I felt just like I had gone back in time to a fifties dining setting. Great food, great price, friendly atmosphere I will always come back again and again. Be sure to arrive before 2 pm in time to enjoy your meal. And enjoy to your hearts content. Mark is right on you two H's must be confusing Mrs Q's with somewhere else.

Iv'e been going to Q's for about 15 years and know that i too am left waiting for what seems like a long time to get my order taken and to get my food! but i will still go back time after time cause the food is usually pretty good and reasonably priced. ron and linda [the owners] are nice people that are involved in the car culture here in medford, their country gravy is made with bacon instead of sausage and its really good! they make it and their biscuits daily. all in all its pretty good place to eat.
(3)Robin H.
If I could leave half a star I would. Service was terrible, rude wait staff, confusing menu and an hour wait for our food. When the food finally came my wife's French toast was cold and my sausage scramble was made with hot dogs. The high point was the pancakes that being typical from a mix pancakes were actually edible.

Not worth your time. The food is only OK.

Don't do it. Several tables, as well as a large table got served before my small table of 3!!! Waitress just said she didn't understand why people didn't have patience. Give me a break! If i could give less then a full star I would.
