Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

While the ambience is a little downmarket and you have to queue up to place your order their pizzas are excellent! The lunch special with all-you-can-eat pizza and salad at $7 is excellent value -- although you don't get to choose which pizzas are set out. Service is friendly.

I can't even get this place a 1! I'm a pizza snob, and love a good pizza. Guy behind the counter couldn't reccomend what pizza he would get or what was most popular. The pizza had no flavor, the dough tasted powdery. Long wait for having nobody in the restaurant, I had 1 bite and threw it away. Didn't see anyone to complain and just needed to get out of there.

We went to Mountain Mikes around 3 PM on Saturday afternoon. There seemed to be one employee in the entire place, but considering the lack of customers, that seemed appropriate. The service was horrible (there wasn't any!), even though you have to pay and tip in advance. We received burnt chicken wings, a complete lack of service, and a thick crust instead of the thin crust th2st we ordered, without an apology or it being fixed. To top it off, 3 of the 4 people in our group got diarrhea shortly after we left. On the plus side, we had a coupon and the pizza tasted good. Would not ever go back though.

Wow, we arrived on a Sunday evening and ordered 3 pizzas a large pepperoni a medium mt McKinley and a small cheese. not a complicated order. After an hour and many people ordering and leaving, my dad inquired. They'd obviously forgotten our order. Instead of apologizing maybe discounting the pizza, the woman actually blamed my father because he had the audacity to order a pitcher of beer, which apparently messed up her rhythm. wow, so much for customer service. Youve lost another regular mt mikes.

Pizza is OK. Problem I'm having now is we were told it would be 30 minutes and then not seeing them even start it until an hour later. If you're going to have someone wait over double the time, maybe come out and say something?

Went into Mountain Mike's Pizza @ 12:50 on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was close to empty, yet had dirty tables with discarded food and drink throughout the entire place. Placed an order for a small personal pizza and took it upon myself to bus the entire restaurant. 10 minutes later, I asked about my pizza. They hadn't made it. Someone took my ATM card and charged it, but they then forgot to actually make the pizza. When I discovered this, I asked for my money back. They told me f*ck you. I insisted on getting my money refunded, which they did and then the midget wench who works there threw my ATM card at me. Her husband then told me to get the f*ck out of their place. As I turned to leave the building, I told them I guess they'd never heard of the internet. DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE SLIME BALLS. THEY ARE HORRIBLE IGNORANT LITTLE PUKES.

Came in and received poor, crappy customer service, which is a shame because I had liked this place and enjoyed their pizza. Pizza was not cooked AT ALL, doughy crust...I wouldn't pay $42 for food like this again. Good luck, Mountain Mike's. You just lost a regular.

Fairly good pizza. Seemed like nice employees and that they have a great time working there. Would like to revisit soon. Great food and great customer service. Looking forward to the next visit.

Let's get one thing out of the way first - if you are looking for amazing pizza, head to Kaleidoscope. Having said that, Mountain Mike's still has some things going for it. I wish I could rate half stars, because I'd really like to give MM 3 1/2. I'm feeling generous, I guess, so I went with the four star rating. Here are the pros and cons, as I see them. Pros: The quality of the pizza is a big step above the national chains. They offer a gluten free crust (small size only), and it's decent. Super convenient if you're on the south side of town. Small, not crowded, easy access. Cons: The variety of toppings isn't huge - it's more traditional than creative (again, if you want innovative pizza, you're better off at Kaleidoscope). Basically, it's a little boring. But fine! You see what I'm getting at here? This is not "blow your mind" kind of pizza, but it's fine. It's good. I would eat it, and I do eat it all the time because even though I like Kaleidoscope more, it's kind of a hassle to go all the way across town, wait a long time, fight the crowds, etc. Basically, this is my second favorite pizza place in the valley, and that's good enough. Oh, wait - I wanted to add one thing. Those who are complaining about the price, really? Unless you are used to the $5 "hot and ready," the price is not bad, particularly when you use one of the always-available coupons. Comparable to any other "regular" pizza place (i.e., not Little Caesars).

We live in Medford and this is one of our best pizza places in town. It is a California chain but this one is locally owned and may be the only one in Oregon. The are very generous on their toppings. The pepperoni is the old school kind and is a little spicy and is the kids favorite. We like the mount veggie more and the bbq chicken pizzas. Kind of spendy but they have great coupons on line. Very filling pizza and I highly recommend them. The service is always great.

Very disappointed at mountain mikes, customer service. Really needs help very rude. We Called in the order, and gave them extra time before picking up the pizza and the pizza wasn't done ! So we are waiting longer. For a pizza. Sorry mountain Mikes you lost a customer for poor customer service.

Mountain Mike's Pizza in Medford Oregon is a unique pizza experience. Love the little pepperoni- One of the only places that still does a Taco Pizza (done well)

I had the all you can eat pizza and salad bar. With a soda it was almost 10 bucks. The limited selection of pizza left much to be desired. There was only 3 pizzas to chose from and two of them had pineapple. I'd skip this place. There are many better options for pizza in Medford.

Today some co workers and I ordered a pizza to be delivered. We ordered the mountain size which I'll admit was rather large. It cost us 45 dollars plus tip and took almost an hour and a half for the pizza to arrive. Mediocre pizza that was ridiculously over priced. I would have much rather ordered 5 pizzas from Pizza Hut for the same price and not waited 90 minutes for it to be delivered. If it would have been 15 dollars cheaper and showed up 30 minutes earlier I would be rating this at least one or two stars higher. Don't waste your money or your time. Eat somewhere els just as good for half the price.

I was in town at the hospital visiting my grandpa and i this was one of the closest places to the hospital. The workers were really funny and giving me a break from the problems i was dealing with. The food (The Mckinley Pizza) was great and the "best pizza in Oregon" like the cashier had told me! I would definitely come back.

Pizza was decent, but the time it took for the food to hit our table was pretty long. Also, it was pretty Damn expensive for a large specialty pizza.
(3)Gear H.
Pizza was pretty good, but it took 45 minutes to bake. Delivered with a thin paper plate that we had to pull apart so that we both had one. The "don't care" attitude would keep me from returning. There are better places in Medford.

I used to work here in Vacaville, CA years ago! Their chicken pizzas with garlic ranch sauce instead of marinara were the best!

I know Southern Oregon lacks in what I would consider decent pizza. Mountain Mikes didn't change my mind on that unfortunately. We had several different varieties. The pepperoni is not the thin type if that's what you like. The slices are very small. The pizza reminded me a lot of Round Table Pizza. So if you like that type it's okay otherwise if you are from out of town and like really good pizza this may not be as good as you are use to as is my case.

Outstanding pizza. Good salad bar. Nice folks. Inexpensive. I've only been there for lunch on weekdays, where they do a buffet for $8.50 with a soda.

Really tasty California based delivery pizza (I've never been to the storefront so I can't speak to the atmosphere there). It's expensive compared to the other big chains (pizza hut, dominos, etc) but the quality is outstanding. I'll pay more for real food any day. Print out one of the online coupons to save yourself a few bucks. mountainmikes.com They must be doing really well as it's always busy when I call for delivery and they're about to open a storefront in Grants Pass too.
