Meh. It was McDonalds. My first time coming to this one will probably be my last. I wasn't expecting much but was still somehow disappointed. I was in a hurry for an appointment and the drive thru took a whole lot longer than it would have taken to just walk in and order. The fries were luke warm and tasted old. The burger was good, though.. but aren't all McDonald's burgers? I must say, the employees were super nice. The girl taking my order was kind and answered the questions that I had. And the gentleman that handed me my food was funny and also very kind. Tl;dr Meh food, nice employees. The McDonald's in the Winco parking lot is still the best.

I went to Mcdonalds again. I live less then a block away. They had a deal on a double cheese burger, and it sounded good. I was there for about 5 minutes and what happened was unbelievable, 1st, 2 woman came in frm a takeout order complaing neither burgers they had ordered were done right. Then a lagy came up and her family had been shorted a burger, they were an eat in. Then a guy came up and said they had forgot a chicken mcnugget order, then came back of course he wanted the dip. My order came up and of course it had been done wrong. I decided to call a manager the next morning, to let them know just how bad things were, he took my name, but then said he would look at the video, I then thought, even though he appreciated, me telling him, he wanted to check a video, I had to assume he didn't beleive me. And I say that because he had asked also for my phone#, but never called me. AGAIN, NEVER LEAVE THE COUNTER WITHOUT CHECKING EVERYTHIN, wether it is a eat in, takeout, or even the window, imagine 5 problems in 5 minutes or less!!!!!!

So it has been over a month since we visited and we still talk about this McDonald's. I think that warrants a review. Say you're on a "little" road trip that involves driving from Seattle to LA in one day, and you've been joined by a 4-year-old and 2-year-old. You've been on the road for eight+ hours and your kids are just a teensy bit antsy. What do you do? Look for the nearest place to grab a bite to eat and let them run to their hearts' content - that's what you do. Enter The Great and Wonderful McDonald's of Medford. Now, the food is McDonald's food so no surprises here. The major wow factor of this particular McDonald's is the play area. I swear we heard angels sing as we walked in. This is by far the biggest McD's play place I have ever seen. There are tons of seats and booths, so no waiting for some other family to leave in order to sit down. The play gym had two areas, one for bigger kids and one for the little ones. Everything had a musical theme - from the giant floor piano thingy to the musical stairs. And they actually worked! I also thought it was neat how they had video game consoles at a few of the tables. Entertainment for the tweens. This location is perfect as it's near I-5 and several gas stations, and the best part is that it's air conditioned, of course. So my fellow road-trippers-with-whiny-kids, be sure you stop here. Your kids and your sanity will thank you!

CHECK YOUR BAG, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU LEAVE! They were quick and I wondered why! It wasn't until I got home that I realized I got ripped off! :O $16 is what I paid for 2, 20 piece mcnugget meals, 1 drink, 1 medium milkshake. I only got 2, 10 piece mcnugget meals! I would like to know where the other half of our mcnuggets went! Too bad I live in Central Point or I would have gone back and demanded a refund! My receipt clearly said 2, 20 piece mcnugget meals! :/ My fries were cold also and they didnt give us any ketchup! They also gave me "hot mustard" instead of "honey mustard"! I was pissed!
