Simple, fast, inexpensive sandwich. My favorite is the ultimate porker with hot peppers. Comparable to R&D but they accept credit cards and are much faster.

Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. Great service, the delivery is wicked fast, nice folks too. it's one of those places that likes specifics, if you say light mayo, you get it. If you want extras they don't forget them. Plus gotta say the prices are fantastic for what you get. We've had both delivery and made fresh at the store itself and the quality was great either way.

I mean it's jimmy johns... Pretty basic sandwiches. This location is just as quick and friendly as the rest I've been to on the east coast and southern cali. The bad reviews are just others complaining it is bland--welp that's just jimmy johns I guess. I give four stars for company consistency bland or not. At least you can expect the same. I like bland bc it doesn't upset my stomach though I do agree with others that there's more bread than meat and veggies... And the delivery is super fast

Today was customer appreciation day and they had sandwiches for $1.00. Upon arriving, the line was around the building. However, staff members were taking orders for the people in line. We only waited in line about 15 minutes. The staff were professional, efficient, and courteous. The sandwiches are STUFFED. You definitely get what you pay for. Beats other sandwich shops by far!!!

Excellent sandwich. Fresh beautiful veggies and delicious meats. Super nice customer service and Quick delivery. Absolutely will order from them again A+ guys!

Faster isn't always better, and Jimmy Johns is proof of that for a fact. They will have your sandwich ready before you've even finished filling up your drink cup. Bland, uninspired sandwiches with just the bare minimum of meat, veg and flavor. When you unwrap your sandwich it looks like a loaf of bread, no evidence of meat or lettuce or anything really peeking out from the bread. This place makes Subway look like a feast of flavor and options. I seriously don't even understand how you can make a sandwich this bland, or how this chain ever got as big as it did. Stay away unless you really like flavorless, bland, utterly uninspired sandwiches.

Fast food sandwich shops are not always fast. Jimmy Johns is very fast. BLT was fresh and taste great. I do love JJ's bread. Good iced tea and the bathrooms were clean. Constant good fast sandwiches.

Like all Jimmy John's, it's just ok. I don't get the hooplah (usually from men) over this crappy little sandwich chain. Being from Chicago, JJ's is everywhere there and has been for years. I hated it there, and I thought I'd try it here to see if maybe I remembered it wrong given how fervently my husband insists it's DELICIOUS and the best sandwich place out there (ahem). So for him, I went. I got the roast beef sandwich. First off, too much mayo-- to the "make me want to barf" level. Greasy and gross- stop it. Thin layer is all anyone requires, seriously. Too much bread to meat ratio. Oh, and boring sandwich- i can make this at home and make it taste better. There's not much to it, nothing special whatsoever. Go to Squeeze Inn instead. What is it about this place that drives men wild? I'm not equipped to determine the answer to this mysterious life question, but for this woman, no thanks... again.

Had an awesome experience, these people were cool beans. Food was delicious, and came so quick. I love when it comes quick. Will most definitely order her again

I don't normally bother reviewing chains mostly because you already know what you're going to get, so what's the point, right? Well, I'll grant Jimmy John's an exception since they're new kids on the block. Good grief. I've had bad sandwiches. I mean, I've been to Subway. But Jimmy John's has to be the new king of utterly bland, mediocre, taste-free sandwiches. I find it ironic and amusing they have a neon sign in the window advertising "free smells," as though their fare had any kind of aromatic quality to it. Well, if you like smelling sponges and foam, then I guess JJ's "free smells" should be right up your alley. It boggles my mind how utterly bland this sandwich was. I remember when soy faux-meats were in their infancy, and how utterly spongy and tasteless they were -- but vegetarians were just so happy to even have something remotely like it. Well, JJ's meats are about the same quality -- completely tasteless and spongy. You bite into your sub expecting something. You get something edible, but that's about it. I've been to school cafeterias with better tasting sandwiches than these. The bread isn't any better. When Subway of all places makes your sandwiches look boring, you know you're in a bad spot. I love how they try to hide the bland with a gallon of mayo. Sorry dudes, what do you think this is, the midwest? All the mayo in the world isn't going to help this poor excuse of a sandwich. Their people were very friendly though. That was nice. Since this is Medford, however, utterly bland and tasteless won't be a problem. In fact, I'm positive this place will likely be packed to the gills with poor souls who have no idea how completely awful JJ's subs are.

I used to frequent this place a lot but I won't be going back. It's frustrating when they have all the information for you in their system...your name, number, previous orders, etc & still can't get your order right..or in today's case get your order at all. I order the same thing every time but in the past they've messed that up, never apologizing or offering to make up for it in some way. Today I called & placed an order for pick up on my lunch break. She even read everything back to me. I drove all the way over there but when I got there, (15 mins later) no one had any idea what I was talking about & they all just stood around looking at each other before offering to make it. That defeated the purpose of calling ahead to have it ready. I left, had to get back to work.

Very fast, courteous and cheerful service. Competitively priced. Consistently good sandwiches, made-to-order with fresh rolls and bread, deli meats and veggies. Bottomless beverages, kettle-style chips, excellent cookies and really fabulous "half-sour" pickles. The store is neat and clean (clean? the day I was there, you could have performed surgery in the men's room), decorated in a current, casual and humorous fashion. And they deliver localy. In my opinion, at this busy location, the franchisee and the employees are really doing right by the customer! I love the Country Club, #11, on french bread, and my wife recommends the Billy Club, #8, on 7-grain bread, or the Club Tuna, #15, on 7-grain bread.

I love love love this place. It's fast, easy and affordable. For all of the people complaining about the signs..... Get over it. I love the environment and the people. I get the beach club add bacon!
(5)J C.
In an area with few delivery options, this place stands out. We always order online, and without fail, our sandwiches arrive on our doorstep in about ten minutes made perfectly to our specifications. The chips and cookies aren't bad, not fresh or homemade, but definitely some of the best compared to subway or similar establishments.
(4)Denise H.
Of you value your hearing...don't waste your time! Somehow the staff this think this is a dance club and have the music so loud you can hear it in the parking lot with the door closed! Turn that crap down!
(1)kammie G.
Positives- fast delivery, ingredients all tasted fresh, order was correct (except the mayo & mustard packets we requested not being included), & easy online ordering. Negatives- bread is bland. Turkey slim is literally a huge piece of bread with nothing but 2 thin slices of turkey. Very expensive for what you get.
(2)Misty J.
First, the positives: Easy ordering online, sandwiches were ready when we got there, order was correctly executed. Those are big enough pluses for me to possibly give it another try in the future, but I can't make any promises. Now, for the not-so-great. There is more mayo than there is meat. Meat is very bland. I ordered avocado on my Pepe as an extra, and it was like they put a light glaze of it on there with a paintbrush. The sandwich itself is, by and large, mostly bread. For what you get, it's way too expensive. I would have been happier with a $5 footlong from Subway. I was pretty disappointed :( Maybe I caught them on a bad day, who knows. I'd suggest Honeybaked Ham or Togo's over JJ's any day. Sorry, guys.
(2)Shaun M.
This place is pretty good. Basically like every other sandwich place. The ingredients were good quality. I liked the bread especially. Way better than subway and on the same par with togos. It's a good choice for a quick lunch.
(4)Tiffani D.
This was great, i had the J. J. B. L. T. with a pickle and some chips. The bread tasted fresh, the pickle was crisp, Jimmys jalapeno chips had just right kick. I would most def be back.
(5)Jonah K.
I lived in Chicago for a while so I knew what to expect when I tried the new Jimmyjohns. It lives up to expectations, which are fairly low. The sandwiches just aren't my bag, and it's not really this location's fault -- they are just bland and mayo-heavy. Many people may feel differently. I'd be inclined to reconsider if they delivered via bicycle, but that's definitely my own personal bias in action.
(3)April L.
Worst sandwich ever! the bacon was limp and undercooked. I ordered a turkey sandwich and only got 2 thin slices of meat. one of them could have been the cheese i couldn't be sure . speaking of cheese they only have provolone.
(1)Chuck B.
Great subs for the price and they deliver 1 sub at a time and fast too! Love these guys!
(5)Dennis G.
Really really good whole wheat bread. .50 cents extra but WORTH IT!
(5)Ted T.
It's a chain that delivers on quality ingredients, and quick service. Standard lunch sandwiches, decent price. Overall a great chain to see in Medford, and a new spot for a quick bite. Now, the location.... bad at best. We were there for a work meeting, 12:30 +/- a few minutes. The line spills in to the dining area, that is small and hard to navigate, and the drink dispenser is buried in the back, and guess what... you have to compete with people picking orders up. But it was clean... We chose to sit outside, as the booths are not large enough for 4 grown men. That was a mistake! Junkies sitting on the steps smoking, people waiting for the bus.... smoking, within 5 feet of our lunch. Enjoy your smoke, I am all about it.... but not while I eat! I know that this is not a Jimmy John's deal per se, but dang! No 4 due to location, and layout. 5 for straight food expierence.

Best fast food subs and a great atmosphere.
(4)William C.
I was not impressed. The foods is nothing special. It tastes so plain. Nothing to see here, Move along.
(1)Andy W.
I have eaten here a few times now, and like with every new chain that arrives here, it is over-hyped and under-delivers. However, (and I love the "No Hippies Allowed" sign. Tongue in cheek humor folks. Get over it!) the sandwiches aren't terrible. I get the Vito (I-sandwich basics. Salami, cheese, ham, peppers, dressing) which is somewhat less of a gut-bomb, and I say for the money spent, it's a tasty sandwich. It won't ever be a New York deli, but it's not trying to either. Location is not great but they deleiver and we have taken advantage of that a few times. It's also inexpensive and a lot less of a pain than placing a big-ass Subway order that pisses everybody behind you in line off. Lighten up, folks. It's not that bad.
(3)Nick D.
Gluten free options (the "unwich) and quality ingredients means that we'll actually step foot in to this chain. Flavors were great and service was cheerful and prompt. When it comes to food quality and price, compare their $7 sandwich to their neighbor's $5 pizza, and I shouldn't have to say more. We walked here but they said they'd be happy to deliver it to us in the parking lot. Hey Jimmy John's Medford, if you decide to start delivering via bicycle, (LIKE YOU SHOULD BE) message me! I'd be glad to ride for you.
(4)Ron G.
Favorite sandwich shop. Love the bread. So freaking good. It is a tad expensive but well worth it my opinion over the bland subs at subway or togo's.
(4)Heidi B.
The sandwiches are pretty bland, so remember to add vinaigrette, mustard, or peppers as they are not usually included in most of the base sandwiches.
(4)Chris S.
Was told they had really big tasty sandwiches, so I went in with fairly high expectations. Oh Well...yes the service is effusively friendly and fast, perhaps a bit too fast. I ordered an 8" tuna, but since I don't care for white French roll bread I asked what the options were. I was told something-something wheat bread. OK I said. What I got was plain sandwich loaf wheat bread, certainly no 8 " sandwich, filled with a lots of cucumbers - which I really don't like on sandwiches either- and some very bland tasting tuna concoction, for fifty cents more than advertised. When I asked why the extra charge I was then told that wheat bread costs extra. Point is, if you don't want French roll bread be prepared to pay extra, and don't expect much in the way of flavor.
