Good God people! Someone gave this place a bad review because they don't like softserve ice cream? Really? Why are you coming here then? They make the best softserve ice cream around. The store is always clean, unlike some of the other dairy Queens I've been in. I come here all the time and I have never had a bad experience.

Good 'ol DQ. 5 Buck lunch! pretty good deal, decent amount of ok food. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Added a blizzard for $1 definitely the best part!

I was traveling through Medford on Saturday, 12/20/14, and dropped in on this DQ around 6:45pm. Nobody was working the counter - the dining room had no customers, nobody in the drive through. I said, "hello?" and waited around 30 seconds or so at the counter, and left. I couldn't believe that no employees were within eyesight or earshot when I came by.

I recently bought my family dinner here. I was over charged for my ice cream and my hamburgers were under cooked. I mentioned the problems to the guy at the drive in , and he argued with me and wouldn't adjust the charge for the ice cream and also wouldn't help me to get properly cooked hamburgers. I will NEVER go this place again!

This is the DQ in Medford to go to for a good time! The staff: Super friendly and courteous. The food: hot and fresh. The wait time: even though the seafood box had to be made from scratch, they hustled to get it ready. And, they apologized for the wait. And, it's really clean and tidy. Way to go, DQ!

I grew up in California and have no history w/ Dairy Queen, but my friend Brian S. in Rhode Island raves about them and loves their Blizzards. When Nina and I were driving from the computer store in Medford a couple of days ago we caught sight of a Dairy Queen and Nina, who grew up on the East Coast, was suffused w/ happy memories. Yesterday we saw this one farther south in Medford. This afternoon after our play she wanted to go to Dairy Queen. I, of course, was game. Brian had recommended the extreme chocolate when I asked him, so I ordered a small one, as did Nina. After a few bites she realized she really wanted a chocolate dipped cone and ordered one. The extreme chocolate had chunks of brownie and shards of chocolate and I forget what all else. It was OK. I'm not a fan of soft serve ice cream. I like frozen yogurt and regular ice cream. I think you have to have long time associations to love this stuff and I don't. Nina found the vanilla ice cream not as intensely vanilla as that she remembered from her youth. It was worth a try, but I don't think either of us will have another one.

I have been a Dairy Queen ice cream fan for 50 years. There are three Dairy Queens in Medford. This one and the one on Biddle have the best ice cream cones IMHO. The perfect cone should hold its shape and stay chilled as its eaten. It shouldn't melt much, and surely should not topple over. It should have the perfect twisted curl on the top. Basically it should look like the photo. Deliciously yummy, with a light and not overpowering vanilla flavor. I also like the chocolate and vanilla flavors twisted together. I also like their burgers and baskets, the frozen lattes, and of course the ice cream cakes. Dairy Queen cones are my choice of comfort food. I am so glad they are still around these days with so much competition from fast food places.
