Honestly... Nothing great, nothing horrible. I guess they gotta kinda unique method to doing ice cream. I've never had anything bad there, but I can say the same for good ol DQ. Meh.

I ordered a Twix in my Salted Caramel ice cream and it was STALE. Beware of the lesser used mix-ins. Not sure how often they turn them over!

UPDATED! Cold Stone is no longer serving bubble tea (as of Sept. 2015) due to ownership change. So disappointing. But...they still have good ice cream. So I shall maintain my "Duke" status while slowly building upon my 117+ check-ins (that is until some kid spends all his/her money trying to out-Duke me).

Love this place. Good creamy ice cream! There's no Ice Cream parlor around so this was the next best thing. I got the Founders favorite a small is perfect for one person. Don't have a lot more to say about it. Just good delicious cold ice cream goodness

Love Cold Stone. One of my guilty pleasures when I've had a long day traveling and working. Good quality, great flavor, fun combos. So, what's the problem here? It's 8:27 p.m. PST. I flew in late from halfway across the country, staying right up the road at the Hampton Inn. I've got an early morning, and a lot of work to do back in my hotel room. All I wanted was a little ice cream for a late-night sweet. Got here and the doors were locked. Girls behind the counter fooling around and laughing as I tried to ask them what the deal was through the glass. Apparently you close at 8:30 in the winter. Cool. Glad I got there at 8:27 according to my watch. Won't be back to this franchise. I'll go buy some Haagen Daz at the grocery instead.

I ordered the bubble tea and they have had no problem in the past blending it. This time however the old guy behind the counter wouldn't do it. Is it really that hard to please a customer and blend a drink? I won't be back.

Medford Center, in general, CONTINUES TO GO DOWNHILL - ever faster, lately. Oz Fitness has closed - er, "changed hands" to become yet another workout place. Nearby are empty stores, plus a dumpy, evil-atmosphere "Lotto Lounge" (next to Safeway) - a real DUMP ! No free Dr. Pepper or anything there, either ( I don't gamble anymore). Anyway - a sign of the times - I asked to use their bathroom the other day (a slow Sunday) and they said "Customers only". I said I "really had to go", and the owner only SMIRKED and said again "customers only". I left, vowing never to patronize this location again. If it weren't for "Tinseltown Cinemas" directly next door, this outlet would have closed by now. As will much of Medford Center (especially with these "attitudes"). Had better ice cream "experiences" in other locations. Forget this outlet ! : (

I have eaten here many times on my visits to Medford. It is a very busy and friendly store. It is located very near the entrance to the movie theater in a neighborhood shopping center so foot traffic is substantial. The winters are mild in Medford too so it does a good year round business. The benefit of these traits is that everything is always fresh. Many ice cream spots near my home, including the local Cold Stones, don't have this benefit so often I am faced with limited flavor selections or freezer taste on the ice cream. One of my tests for an ice cream store is the availability of some coffee based flavors. This Cold Stone had a wonderfully fresh and smooth coffee ice cream, into which I had Oreos stirred. It was a great combo, served in my favorite style plain fresh waffle cone. All of the others in our group had very different options and most were very successful. One of the children in the group perhaps overdid the sweetness factor with some blue bubble gum ice cream and some candy mix ins and he ended up tasting others treats. But that was not the store's fault, by any means.

Not a fan of Cold Stone's ice cream ... but I just discovered this location serves bubble tea. YES!!!11! They aren't the best at serving it up ... Well, I should qualify that. The dude who served it to me clearly was a little out of his element and had to rely on the cheat cards to put it all together. Maybe the teens who normally work here are a little better at slangin' boba. All I know is I don't have to make the trek to ye olde land of Ash if I'm craving some bubble tea. That is definitely #winning!

Three stars for the ice cream and an extra star for the location. It's pretty awesome that this place is right by the movie theater, because then you (or your girl, depending on who has the purse) can buy a to-go cup of ice cream and smuggle it on in there. Don't worry, people do it all the time. (At least we do.) Anyway, the flavor and combination options are pretty endless here, but it's a bit on the pricey side. Sure, it's not super expensive, but ice cream should be under eight bucks for two people, y'know? The staff is, as one might predict, fairly unpredictable in its consistency -- sometimes you get a good person who gives a crap and other times you don't. Pretty hit-or-miss in that way, and can make the difference between your peanut butter getting mixed in proper or just kind of globbed in there, and that matters. If you're not into breaking the movie theater rules by sneaking it in there, you can also stand outside and watch the gym rats do their thing across the way, and enjoy the dichotomy of an ice cream place across the way from a gym with huge plate glass aquarium windows.

Love the smoothies, the ice cream is good too. This is the only place I know of that serves ice...paste - seriously, no other ice cream I've ever had is that consistency! Singing tips is a funny touch, because they always look so bored and/or miserable as they sing their song for the 50th time that day. Perfect location.. right next to the best theater in the area and right in front of a workout place, LOL!

I love ice cream so I stop here often. They are a little spendy but competitive with most ice cream shops and if you get a bigger size & share it with someone you get a great deal. Many mix-ins and creative flavors. The loyalty cards are good too. A person can get maxed-out on sugar and richness before finishing their smallest size so I wouldn't mind availability of one size smaller. The ice cream cupcakes are novel and fun. My creation of choice is cake batter ice cream with cookie dough mixed in. Very tasty but hard to finish. I might give 5 stars but I'm holding out for a fantastic gelato shop!

conveniently located right next to the movie theater, this is a nice stop on the way to/from movies, or on a day when you just feel like gettin' some ice-cream
