The food was good but when we were seated at our table that had been cleaned with fresh silverware set out I noticed that there was something sticky smeared over half of the table. When the waitress came by we asked for them to clean the table. Ok it happens, it shouldn't have but it does. Next when they brought out our plates the bottom of the top plate had food stuck on it and the bottom plate had grease smeared on it from the top plate. So when the waitress came back around we had to ask for new plates. Will I come back? Not likely! This was my second time eating here and if I remember correctly the food was ok but the experience was the same.

Friday, 09 Oct 2009, lunch this is my second time coming here for lunch. the lunch specials are the way to go. your choice of 5 lunch specials for $5 (and it includes a soda, refills $0.50). warm tortilla chips, salsa, and beans to start. I ordered the ground beef burrito and it came out on a large plate with rice and beans. a little slow on the service while waiting for the check but we just walked up to the register and paid. there were 3 of us, we all ordered a lunch special, but did not receive a refill on the salsa or beans (though we did get a refill on chips). can't beat the price and food came out quick after ordereing, included drink a bonus and separates it from other mexican lunch specials in town. yeah, I'll definitely come here again.

Excellent Service, We save the coupons that gives you buy one get one half off. Chips always warm and fresh tasting, Haven't been dissappointed at all on any dish we ordered huge portions allow me leftovers, affordable prices.

Usually stop in here on the way to the coast. Food is good and plentiful. Looks like they are trying to have a nightlife. There is a regular part on the right and to the left is the bar (where do I think I went?) Anyways, great place for lunch and a few drinks as a stop on through. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it is convenient. Love love the full bar. The only times I have been here is during the day though. Never at night but it looks like they have a place for live music entertainment. Maybe a spot to go at night on the weekends, although I do not know.

I visited here the other night after visiting the Evergreen Aviation museum. The place was about 3/4 full when we got there and we were able to be seated right away. My son and I were in the mood for fajitas. We placed our order and they came out rather quickly. Unfortunately they were prepared in a way we were not familiar with. They were served in some sort of brown sauce that was sweet but also slightly sour. There were the usual onions and green peppers but also mushrooms (also unusual). Unfortunately it wasn't a flavor that we cared for. Hoping to put a nice cap on the meal we ordered fried ice cream. This also came rather quickly however it too was disappointing. The ice-cream was full of ice crystals and was pretty disgusting. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing here but it really isn't a place I'd return to if I was a local. The place was nice and had a very friendly staff. It was clean and well cared for so that is nice. Unfortunately the food was what did it in for me.

Alright but not phenomenal. Mazatlan was once the Mexican go-to restaurant in Mac, but the prices are getting higher and the restaurant louder and less efficient. When you arrive at Mazatlan, you have to wait for a table for quite a while before being seated. You can still get a good margarita here, but you may be in for a long wait and a loud bunch a kids right next to your table once seated. The food is pretty good. You'll be greeted with some chips and salsa once seated. Parking can sometimes be a bear, but if you're in the area and just want some classic Mexican food, it does the job.

This is the point of reviews. Read them and DECIDE FOR YOURSELF! So glad I did. Let me say first: JOJO! Thank you for you WONDERFUL service!!!!! Because of you we WILL be back again! The food was great as was the atmosphere but you my friend were the icing on the cake. Haven't had such a good evening out in FOREVER! Usually walk away from a restaurant going "it was ok." The owner's are crazy if they don't keep you in their service! By the way the Churro's are waaaaayyyy better than Taco Bell!

Went to Mazatlan for my husbands birthday dinner. We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The store is pretty dirty and dusty and needs a good cleaning. We were directly under a ceiling fan with clumps of dust on it. No doubt it was falling in our dinner. Yuck. For dinner, I ordered the pollo a la creama which I have ordered many times in the past. This time it had red chili peppers mixed in the sauce. After only 2 bites I knew I couldn't eat it - WAY too spicy. Our waitress offered another order to go. Which was great. We left and paid out bill. Turned out that they charged me $1000 for dinner instead of the $45 for our meal!!! $1000?!? I called immediately and the manager told me that my bank must of made a mistake. Once I called my bank they told me that indeed the restaurant charged me $1000 for dinner. The next day I went in to get my money back. I talked with multiple people and explained the issue. They asked me to come back later when the manager was there. I wanted my money! After 2 hours of waiting, Jose, the manager came in. We sat at a booth in the back of the restaurant and hashed out the problem. Got my bank on the phone and they confirmed the transaction ID was the same as on my receipt and the restaurant's system. Jose refused to refund my $1000 as he did not see that they charged me $1000. Although my bank was on the phone and I showed him my bank account! The bank ended up refunding the money to my account and I filed a claim against the restaurant. I was told by Jose that I would receive a call on Monday after he looked into it further. It's Thursday and I haven't heard from him. I'm not surprised. After 3 hours in the store on a Saturday afternoon, I was not offered a refund of my meal or a free meal the next time my family went in. BEWARE of Mazatlan's charging practices and watch your account if you use a credit card or debit card!!! I will be looking into talking to the owner of the store. Nobody in my family will EVER return to this place. After the way we were treated when trying to get this resolved was totally unacceptable. I feel that they should have done more to right their wrong. I would not recommend visiting Mazatlan in McMinnville.

I've been going here for around twenty years now. When they use to be where Ruby Tuesdays is currently at. Foods good, service polite. I did have to ask twice for certain things like a box and mild salsa. Not a big deal.
