How have I not reviewed this place? I come here all the time for eggs and hash browns because I live just minutes away. Last fall, we got my birthday cake here--it was some kind of toffee caramel cake with chocolate and nuts. I wish I could remember specifically, because it was one of the better cakes I've ever had. The proprietor brought out sample slices for my mother and I while we were having coffee and lunch to help us decide. She also turned me on to the vegetarian hash, which she informed us isn't on the menu, but available all the same. It's loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked mushrooms and peppers and crisp hash browns. Perfect for a breakfast fan like me. They're open for dinner now, but I haven't tried their sandwiches. Our room-mate had a reuben there, however, and had nothing but good things to say.

I tried their Turkey avocado sandwich on sourdough and it was delicious! They cook their turkey on premises using fresh local ingredients. Friendly & efficient service. We will be back!

My husband and I have been here at least a hundred times. We're all practically family. I love this cute little restaurant so much..obviously. The people that work here are so awesome and fun. Very friendly and hard working. Let's see, what have I had here? I have had the Eggs Benedict, really good. However, Hollandaise Sauce can be tricky and this particular day it worked out alright. Yesterday my husband and I ordered their Chubby Clubby and oh wow, this dog was huge! The best club sandwich I think I've ever had. It could feed a small village. LOVED IT. The pastries and cookies, pies are all made in house and they are SOO delicious. I really cannot get enough of the sweet stuff. yummy! We love it here!

Revisited this place a year later.... It was great! Service was great, coffee was hot, servings were really large and everything was delicious! What an improvement! I will definitely be coming back for more......

Great food, reasonable prices.

Great local cafe. Everything is made fresh on the spot, including the roasted turkey we enjoyed on our sandwiches. Serving sizes are large, so make sure you have an appetite, you wont be able to leave any behind, it is that good.

2nd in McMinnville to the Crescent Cafe. The breakfast was big and my wife and I split one plate. We will be back.

Food is awesome, the staff are hilarious and the atmosphere is welcoming. There's no better place in Mac to get breakfast. And their cake balls, don't even get me started. Pure heaven.

Wife and I had heard good things about Laughing Bean and decided Sat to try it out. Good location and greeted promptly. Menu looked good . Beverage service was good. Then we ordered cinnamon roll for my wife and I ordered biscuits and gravy . Menu touted home made biscuits. What arrived was cool under seasoned dry biscuits and lukewarm gravy. Mentioned to waitresses she offered to reheat. Passed on that and asked for check. Waited 15 minutes and finally gave up and went to counter after a mistake in the total we paid, small tip. LB needs to decide what their priority is, sit down service or to go/drive through.

A little dirty and not very many baked good choices. I did enjoy the blueberry scone, average at best.

Great atmosphere, friendly people, AND great food...what else could you ask for!!! I highly recommend stopping by for a bite to eat--you will not be disappointed.

Stopped here for breakfast today - too windy to go flying, so time to eat instead. The place wasn't packed at Sunday brunchtime which, I guess, is to do with its location rather than the quality of the food on offer. We had a variety of the things on offer - French toast, pancakes, corned beef hash and some concoction involving biscuits and gravy - and the food was all good, the portions enormous, the prices utterly reasonable and the service competent and friendly. Would have gone back for dinner, except I was still stuffed.

One of the best breakfasts I've had. Thick bacon on the eggs Benedict, great home style hash browns.

We arrived 10 minutes before opening and debated if we should wait. They must of seen us and opened a little earlier. I felt like I walked into the 70's. Maybe the 80's since all the music was from that era, but blaring from the ipad on the counter. The sound would have not been so bad if it was lunchtime but we were the only ones there and it was way to early for loud music.. The decor is a place reminding me of grandparents. Wooden chairs with plaid fabric. It is open with a long dining wing that can accommodate many. There is a big open counter and you can see the large kitchen. Honestly it is not very inviting and does not give you a warm cozy feel. Two young ladies, one at the counter, she was also our server and the other the cook. Both wearing shorts, no problem, but the young lady in the kitchen....what the heck are you wearing rubber flip flops for in a commercial kitchen. Yes, Mr/Ms Employer, buy her some safety shoes !!!! I had the eggs benedict. It was good. The eggs whites were still half raw though. Since they were smothered under the Hollandaise sauce it did not bother me. My husband had a more traditional breakfast. This was one of the least expensive breakfast we have had in a long time. The prices are lower then most local restaurants and you get a far portion.

Still really great. Wish they had more of a relaxing area, so one could enjoy the wines.

This place is in a great location, end of town, right in center of subdivisions and apartments, and right on the main 2nd street. There location matches there homie feel very well. Walked in and sat in the back, costumers up front demanded most of the attention. But none the less, everyone was kind and homie. The food was great, and they are very quick. Most of all it was very appealing when I saw that the served Mud River coffee here. I will be coming back to this mom and pop style café for there kind, warm service, homie food, and there great coffee.
