5 star because it's the only bar In town. A one horse bar in a one horse town with one house whisky. Drink up! Sum it up to a local country car where everyone gets along. Saturday nights Are good.

Oh boy what can I say about the eagles nest.... Whoa don't drink to much! You might just wake up somewhere that has cat poop stuck to the bath Mat and a pile of laundry bigger mt Rushmore. Idk just sayin it could happen. Ok on a serious note this place is a lot of fun they've got got a bunch of TVs to watch the games and a couple of ratchet looking pool tables I got fairly decent at playing. The drinks are fair priced and poured right. The crowd is pretty friendly but every so often a fight breaks out. The food is ok I'm a fan of the Cajun wrap, the chicken strips are off the hook too the steaks were just ok and salty. They need to add buffalo wings to the menu for sure. I've had some great memories come from here and few bad decisions, enjoy a drink a game of pool and some fun

Very very good chicken fried steak! Everything was perfect on the plate when we went. Burger was a big thick patty and loaded with veggies (mouthful) Portions are huge. We went for a bloody mary (FRAN makes the super bomb ones) and an order of fries and got the large (mistake) they were served on a mounded DINNER PLATE!!!(order them crispy) THE ONLY thing I could as for is it could have been a sirloin burger cooked to temp . Other than that EVERYTHING IS GREAT ESPECIALLY THE STAFF!! THANKS AND MANY MORE MEALS TO COME and yes the staff makes that place great.

Hey Eagles Nest! You guys are awesome! We rolled into town late on a rainy night and were freezing and starving, and there wasn't any other place to eat. We were referred here by a hotel employee and I'll admit I was a little worried at the prospect of trying to get a decent dinner in a bar in the middle of the night... Never judge a book by its cover !! My husband and I both ordered burgers (burgers and sandwiches are all that were being offered at that hour, but hey, whaddya expect). They were much better than I expected, with very fresh ingredients, well cooked, and a pile of crispy fries. My compliments to the chef! The bartender took good care of us, despite being busy with lots of other patrons (some of whom were somewhat drunk and therefore more entertaining than usual). The music got a little loud after a while, but again.. we were in a bar and it was Saturday night. Bless your hearts for being open so late, and offering delicious food to two hungry wanderers. Highly recommend !

We stopped in after a long drive across Nevada ... home of "all-you-can-inhale" smoke filled restaurants ... and were starving. We were delighted to find Eagles Nest open for a late lunch. Although the dark bar looked quiet and appealing we chose to sit on the restaurant side. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and brought us our drinks and food quickly. Our sandwiches were delicious and the side dishes very fresh. If you're ever passing through the area this is definitely the place to stop!

Nice neighborhood bar and restaurant. I wanted to eat in the bar but they weren't very well prepared to do that and it took over an hour to get my meal. I ordered the club steak. It was big and nicely cooked on a fire grille. The fries were excellent. Salad - so-so. Meal selection in this town is LIMITED. This was probably as good as it gets in Lakeview.
