This is the restaurant in the golf course, it has breath taking views and the salads are pretty good, but the rest of the stuff, I am not so sure. We were there a few times. Happy hour is pretty cheap, but the items are not very good. We tried the pretzel, it seemed to come from a frozen package. The ahi salad was mediocre and the quesadillas were not very; good, my kids didn't touch them. The coconut shrimp was swimming in some slimy sauce. Another time I went with a girlfriend for dinner and I had a spinach salad with grilled salmon. It was ok, but my salmon was a little overcooked. The drinks are pretty good, though.

This place is a hidden gem!! 8 of us randomly bumped into this place when we were spending a half-day off at Hood River area from a summer program in Portland. Everything we ordered from the menu exceeded our expectation!! Even a dish as simple as Mac and Cheese can be so delicious! The Grilled Tenderloin Steak with Cherry and Wine Sauce that I ordered was surprisingly amazing . Cherry and wine balances perfectly with the strong "meaty" taste of grilled tenderloin steak. Oh and the steak was also perfectly grilled, so juicy! Cooked arugula had a little bit of bitter taste. It worked fine for me when it blended to the sweeter taste of cherry and wine. Roquefort.cheese gave the plate an interesting twist, too. I also loved Divots Fries a lot! Ideal for finger food, couldn't stop eating it. We had lots of dramas during the meal...such as fly dived into glass of wine, cheese dipping dropped into glass of martini...and so on...the waitress was very nice and did whatever she could. It was an amazing dining experience. And Divots has great views! If I visit Oregon next time, I will definitely dine at Divots again.

Their Happy Hour is the best. They change up the menu on a regular basis but the food is consistently flavorful. Tables inside and out based on weather but always an incredible view of Mt. Hood.

Went there on father's day for lunch, they were understaffed and warned us it would be slow which was fine, great views from the outside seating, a family who arrived 5 mins after us got served 10 mins before us, seemed like the knew the manager as they were talking a lot despite it being busy. This was very frustrating. I had crab cakes which were nice and were reasonably priced, our waitress was nice and offered us a free desert due to the delay. So to conclude it seemed like the manager gave preference to regulars/friends which was not cool but everything else was good.

Have always enjoyed the patio with our dogs. Decided to go the long way home from Redmond to Portland just to enjoy Divots. Arrived and found the patio virtually empty. Picked a shady spot for the dogs. When the hostess came out she stated that we could not have our 2 small dogs on the patio. We told her we had been here with our dogs a half s dozen times this summer and it had never been a problem (we had even called to ck on dog policy the first time). She said the policy has been enforced inconsistently and that we would have to leave. Every waiter we've had there in the past has loved on our dogs and shown pictures of their own pups. We've seen many dogs there before too... Bad management!!! Will not be spending our $100 there any more.

Best happy hour in town. The views are amazing. The patio is great on a sunny day. The prices are a little high but during happy hour it is very reasonable. Staff is friendly. You can watch people putting from the deck.

One of the two best happy hours in Hood River!! Between 3 to 6pm. Great food, service, and atmosphere! Outside seating is also a plus. A beautiful place for a couple, friends, or a group.

Maybe we just ordered the wrong things; while looking like a very large portion the fish and chips had at least a 1/2" coat of breading on it with some fish inside. The 'Benito' was veggies, noodles, and choice of meat with a sickly sweet bottled teriyaki sauce drenched in it. The spinach salad with hazelnuts, blue cheese and strawberries was very good. I don't need to make a special trip to go back.

Outside seating is fantastic unless it is windy. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Great for tourists who want to dine with a fantastic view of Mt. Hood. Oh, locals enjoy it too.

Returned for a family birthday dinner. My brother had called and made reservations and upon arrival the hostess actually told us they had given out table away (we were not late for our reservation). We then had to wait a good 15 minutes for them to make us a make shift table by the bar that was dark and cramped for the 5 of us. Despite being right next to the waitress station we sat for more than 20 minutes waiting for our order to be taken and watched guests who had arrived after us get there drinks and orders taken. After getting our food, ( I ordered the Mac and cheese) I found that they had forgotten to put the cheese sauce on and instead I had a large hard blob of Parmesan on top of plain noodles....our waitressed noticed it was wrong and asked if I wanted something else instead, but that it would take too long if I wanted another order of Mac and cheese. I decided against getting anything else and went home and had a sandwich. I'm sad to say that Divot's has gone from a weekly staple in our house to our go to joke about bad service. It's turned into a happy hour for tourists and bad service for locals who want a nice sit down family dinner. This was my last trip to Divots.

We were told they had a great burger here. We decided it was a very mediocre burger. Big poppy seed bun. Meat overdone. 1000 dressing had weird texture like horseradish in it. Too bad. Gorgeous view of Mt. Hood and the golf course.

Always enjoy divots. It's not in the heart of downtown, which is nice cause you miss the crowds of tourists. This has great outdoor seating with the best view of Mt. Hood...when it's clear of course! My husband and I had our rehersal dinner here and I actually enjoyed the meal more than the one catered at the wedding! Staff is always friendly. If I was a visitor I would make the trek to the heights for the view alone.

One of my favorite places to go, for either "Happy Hour" or just a good meal and cocktails. Fantastic waiting staff, tasty food, large happy hour menu.

We have been to Divot's at least 6 times over the past 18 months and they have never disappointed us. Their outside tables offer the absolute best view of Mt Hood that we know of. It's in your lap, big time. That sets the stage for an inspirational event right from the start and enhances the dining experience 3-fold. The golf course greens are set in the foreground of the sharply pointed peak are reminiscent of of pages from a fairy book. We usually go for their happy hour which runs from 3-6pm. Ceasar Salad, Ahi Tuna, Quesadillas, Mini French Dip and more are all in the $3 range per item. Quite good for the low prices they charge. The service is excellent and beer and wine selection equally as good. Inside the restrooms are very clean and you can browse the pro shop for the latest golf bags, golf shoes, and any other golf related gear you might be looking for. I'm not a golf guy, but it's such an inviting atmosphere I was inclined to hit a bucket of balls (the driving range is less than 50 feet away from the outside patio) after dinner and drinks. Hey, I could really fall in love with this game!

Divots is a great place to get away from the downtown scene. The setting is lovely, like a mountain lodge on the golf course with great Mt Hood views. The food is consistent bar type food and service is friendly.

This is one of our favorite, off the beaten path, places to eat and drink. Best mountain view restaurant in the gorge, awesome price-valued dinners and happy hour menu, and friendly staff.
