This place sucks - it has very salty food, bad service, take 90 million years to deliver your food. These people have a problem with sodium. They add sodium to everything. So if you have a sodium problem do not come here. I guess I was the lucky one out of my group because I actually got something remotely good with everything else was very salty, even their vegetables. At least they take responsibility for what they did. Do not come here at all. Not worth your money.

If I could give zero stars I would. So we go in there this fine Sunday to have breakfast. There are several tables but they are making people wait. Makes no sense to me. I even told Mackenzie the hostess this and she just glared at me. So we left to go find another place to eat.

Really? Pie day. No pie. Only sugar free. Consider your busiest day of the year and bake some extra pies. It's what you are known for! Maybe free ice cream for not having it? Something?????

I usually go in once every couple of weeks. Usually about 8am. Their service is usually prompt and courteous. Food ok for the price. A couple of times I have gone in before 7am. I won't be making that mistake again. The staff are at the end of their shift at that time. They don't make me feel welcome. More like a burden. I was by myself in one of two tables, yet they were too busy to refill water or bring condiments when asked. By the time the condiments arrived my meal was half eaten.

Eggs were undercooked, we didn't get any water or refills on our coffee. Service was slow, and the fruit I got with my meal was definitely not fresh.

This member of the Shari's family sits right off TV Highway in Hillsboro. Interestingly it shares a parking lot with a Red Robin Restaurant. Shari's TV Highway location feels new and clean. It definitely sports one of the best interiors of the Shari's Restaurant chain. Unfortunately it's also one of the slowest. Upon arrival at Shari's Restaurant the shift manager couldn't seat us because he was too busy making milk shakes. The server couldn't seat us because she was carrying a humongous stack of menus. Had to put those menus down before she could help us. So we waited. We found ourselves doing quite a bit of waiting at Shari's Restaurant. The food, on the other hand, is actually quite good. Shari's has this great "Pie Milkshake" program. You choose one of Shari's delicious pies and they actually put it in a milk shake. For entrees we ordered a Bavarian Hamburger and a "Rustic Chicken Tuscan Salad." Both dinners were delicious and showed a kitchen with some creativity. The proportions were generous and the prices were more than fair. Both dinners were about $10 each. However, it took forever for our server to get the food on the table and it took her even longer to bring us our bill. Speaking of bills, Shari's is a pay at the cash register type of operation. When it came time to pay a young lady came to the cash register. She swiped my credit card, rolled me a copy of my bill, and then ran away. Having never been left at a cash register before I filled out the bill the best I could and placed it on the counter. Hope my server got her tip. I feel that I did my part. However, I don't feel that Shari's did theirs. For goodness sakes hire some more help! This Shari's has sprung a leak and they had better get it fixed before their ship sinks.

The food is decent enough- for Shari's food. But the service is usually pretty lacking. Usually only see the waitress when she takes your order and when she drops off the check. If you need anything like water you have to flag them down.

Diner food at it's best. You can count on two things here: greasy food and great pie. No, the food is not winning awards of being featured in magazines or national tv shows, but it's decent and filling. I've had the breakfasts here several times and the food is consistent. I did get sausage one time when I ordered bacon but that server was nice and brought me out the bacon while letting me keep the sausage. Their pie is awesome though and they will put it in a blended milkshake for you if you haven't already keeled over from exceeding your daily caloric amount by a few thousand on just one meal. Overall decent food, good service, and PIE

Pie Service Review: Ordered a fresh strawberry pie one week in advance online. I called to verify they received the order. Went to pick it up and was told they didn't have it because there was no time to cut up the strawberries. I had to have a pie for an event and I ended up with a tired looking cheesecake pie. It looked at least a day old. They were nice enough to take 50 cents off my bill. Never again.

I really wish I could give a better rating but this place has become worse in service. My friends and I were looking for a good place to relax and eat after a long day of work. The server seated us in the back (no man's land). It tool them a long time to take our order. The other table next to us started to get upset even yelling "hello!?". It took an hour for our food to arrive. It wasn't even busy that night. The food was good. The waitress didnt come often to even get my second refill. Service not worth tipping.

So I understand this is Shari's and not fine dining and I am not expecting that, however... We arrive around 8:00 pm and there should have not been any problem with service right? Not so much. I was tired and hungry and this place as near by. It is usually filled with older customers which mean it would have good food and be quiet, especially so late at night. So we get there and stand in the lobby for a good five mins. waiting for someone to acknowledge and seat us. Many people looked at us one even smiled but no one came to seat us. As we were waiting to be seated, the line for people to pay their bill just got longer and longer. I became increasingly irritated as I watched the waitstaff BS with the cooks and ignore the customers. Finally the manager comes to seats us. She takes us all the way to the back of the restaurant seating us essentially in the kitchen. We were between the stored high chairs and the beverage station. We passed several empty tables and booths on our trek to the back of the restaurant. Normally this would just be annoying but I was on crutches and couldn't get around to well.... Before I even get to the table because I have to crutch it across the state to get to our hidden table flatware is being thrown at us and we are being asked what we want to drink. A simple order of water and soda was messed up as lemon was added when not asked for. I have a problem with this s one, it is not what I ordered and two, people may have dietary issues that prevent them from eating certain things. Next, after waiting eternity, I had time to crutch across country from our hidden hovel to the front of the store, struggle with the bathroom door as the manager watched me, do what I had to do and get back the waitress approaches and asks "what's for dinner?" We named her Lisa as we had no idea what here name was as we got neither her name or a hello. We ordered and must have gotten the late night mini sizes as our hash-browns were about five bites and bland. It was just bad, not even diner bad. My bowl of fruit consisted of five grapes and a small slice of honeydew. So we muddled through our dinner and decided we had enough and it was time to go. I crutched through the barren tundra to the front of the store and joined the line as the waitress made goo goo eyes at the line cook. The gentleman in front of me was patient, but annoyed. She stopped cooing and the cook and then, rather than acknowledge the growing line, made a milk shake. it is 9:00 pm at night, hardly busy.

Thsi place has gotten very bad the last few years. Service is slow and bad. The servers typically treat you like you were forced to come eat there and they are forced to seat you and serve you. The food is usually cold when you get it over an hour after being seated. Drink you're beverages slowly because the chances of getting any refills is near impossible. The servers they hire act as if this is a condition of their probation or something because they really treat their job like it's a nuisance.

Been here a number of times and figured I'd leave a review.... if you are looking for typical diner food then you found it. They just got done remodeling this place. Not that they needed it as the last remodel was a decade ago. The inside is nice nonetheless. Nothing major, just new tables, booths, chairs and light fixtures. Definitely a step up from some of the other shairis in the area such as 185th, The food? meh. Theres just nothing too special about it. just typical american food served up in a very basic, and sort of bland way. I only go here when I'm invited my friends or family. As others say service is a bit slow. While the food is meh, they do have free pie on wednesday nights with a purchase of a dinner and the fact that they are open 24 hours is a plus, given your only other choice for late night food is fast food why not eat something thats "better"?

Maybe I was just lucky, but I went in and had some of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. The cook Andrew made the eggs and everything on my plate very well. Service was great, fast, and friendly. This is my new favorite Shari's!

Great place to hit for late-night-nosh-fest. The service/quality can vary, but overall a decent fall back if you want pancakes, sundaes, or nothing else is open. I've been going to Shari's since...forever, and it's always the comforting same old place. I would give it four stars, but I know that's just the sentimental girl in me and I want to be frank for anyone who is new to the Denny's/Elmer's/IHOP circuit. It's similar to these, but they do sport a fairly rockin' pie selection (which is important to note now that Marie's kicked up it's heels and died), and I love their Turtle Sundaes. The booths are more comfy than the tables, and late at night you do tend to run into large crowds of wild teenagers. So, be warned.

Why did we come here again????? Step 1: Seated....wait forever for service. Step 2: Drinks finally arrive.....wait some more to order. Step 3: wait, wait, wait. By the way, how many people are working in the kitchen? One? Two people? There are a total of about 5 tables sat....which in Shari's means the place is practically empty. Why is it taking so long? Step 4: Food finally arrives, looks like it was carelessly thrown on to the plate like pig slop. Certainly doesn't look like something served at a restaurant. I mean even Denny's makes the food look pretty. Step 5: With great trepidation, try the food. Step 6: restrain the urge to get up and ask for a refund or worse yet, barf. Step 7: Scratch head in wonder as to where your waitress has disappeared to and why she hasn't returned to refill you drinks....at all...the entire time you have sat in the restaurant. Step 8: When "to-go" box is offered, kindly decline. Step 9: When manager comes by and asks how everything is...tell her! Uhm, yeah, I am a bit thirsty, but seeing as we are on our way to pay our bill and get the heck out of here, what does that matter? Step 10: When manager kindly apologizes and offers a free "dessert" like day old cinnamon rolls, just smile and nod and say "NO thank you!". Step 11: If you screwed up on step 10 and said "sure" Do NOT eat the rolls!!! I think I have had dog food that tasted better...then again I was likely 2 the last time I tried that....what do I know. Step 12: Isn't this place known for it's pies???? Then why are they all factory produced and not fresh. Eww, gag, cough.....blah! Step 13: Tip accordingly. Step 14: Review steps 1-13 and ask yourself, "Why did we come here again??" Never again!! Thank you.
