Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love Round Table's pizzas. Their service is the worst of any restaurant in recent memory. I order online, they give me a time to be there, I show up and my order isn't ready. The last two times the pizza has been done but the garlic twists have not. This time was the worst. Pizza ready by 7:24pm. Show up at 7:32. Nothing! "Your pizzas are going in the oven." What? Why order online? If it's going to take over an hour than tell me me it's going to take that long and I will show up when it's done. Instead I might as well show up and order and wait. STOP your online ordering option because it NEVER works (in my experience). I get a lame explanation "we're trying to get everyone's orders." I'm done. Papa John's, I'm sorry we left you. I guess everyone else gets my pizza business. $60 for 2 pizzas and garlic twists...never again.

We were having some people over on Sunday night and decided to pick up pizza for everyone on the way home. We regretted it almost immediately. We called in the pizza and got to the store 30 minutes later. It wasn't ready. No big deal, we could wait for a few minutes. We paid and took a seat. 20 minutes later, after not hearing a word from anyone, my husband went back to the counter and waited there for about 10 minutes until someone finally noticed him and asked him what they could do for him. He told them we had been waiting for the order. They went back to check and not only was our order done, but it had been done for 15 minutes and nobody had mentioned it to us. So that was our in store experience. Lovely. When we got home the fun continued! The garlic twists were still dough. When I say that, I don't just mean they were under cooked, I mean they were dough. They were not browned at all and when you tried to pick them up they stuck to the box. Upon opening our large, thin crust cheese pizza we discovered that they don't neglect to bake everything.......... I understand that it is easy to over cook a thin crust, but this was ridiculous. Perhaps they doubled up on baking time to make up for the garlic twists? It was super dry as well. Ugh. On a good note, our guests were able to eat most of the large pepperoni pizza. It wasn't that bad. So, yeah. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from this location again.

I really hate doing this review as there seems to be fewer and fewer round tables around and I love their pizza. Beaverton store disappeared as well as tanasborne. Today I stopped for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to see a buffet on a sunday. It was not busy at all I counted seven tables being occupied only one with more than three people. Anyway I ordered my buffet and the pizza available was fairly scarce , So I had a few pieces of pizza and then waited for more to come out but never did. I noticed 4 of the tables watching to see if any more was coming out to the buffet as well as 3 of them asking when it would happen. IT was probably 20 minutes and again nothing. THe last lady I Heard asking an employee about it was told they had to get dough ready. I simply could not wait that long and left. I hoped to write the store an email but could only find the headquarters. My expectations were much higher for tis chain.

I was reading the old reviews, and at the time those were probably correct. They have made good strides over the last few months and you can tell the staff tries hard to do great work. We've ordered takeout or delivery about 6 times in the past year, and each time the wait has been shorter and shorter and the food better. Overall, I'm happy to see things moving in the right direction!

Ok.. it's halloween.. I'm ready to give you another try. Transaction 281479.. called in at 5:30pm.. told it would be an hour wait.. I arrive to pick up at 6:24... pay.. then wait until 7:15...When I kindly ask for the status of my order.. just to be told that they don't remember seeing my order. This is killing me!!!! They refund my money and make my pizza for free. Still waiting for my order at 7:25pm. Have I been black listed? Bad luck? Kids are out trick or treating without me.. on empty stomachs.. insane that I even came back.

Avoid at all costs. I read the other reviews and we decided to try it anyway because we like Round Table pizza. Big mistake. We got there at 5:45 and left at 7:20 - and we are fast eaters. We ordered a medium pineapple and olive pizza. An HOUR LATER we were delivered a half pepperoni and black olive / half cheese pizza to our table. Not even close. So we got to wait another 15-20 minutes and the next pizza that came was half olive/pineapple, half cheese. ARGH! We said screw it and ate it anyway. We'd ordered two salad bars as well. First, they were out of ranch and there were three people already waiting for more when I got there. They were also out of fruit, potato salad, and one other bin was empty (not sure what it was). We asked the cashier (who was also the shift manager) if someone could get more ranch and his response was "when I get a hot second". I'm not picky so I got something else and sat down. Forgot a fork, so i went back up and still no ranch, so I grabbed a guy delivering a pizza to a table and asked him. Five minutes after that they finally got the ranch. There were 8 people in the back - it was silly it took so long. The whole time we were there they never did refill any of the other food bins in the salad bar. We watched as other tables were delivered pizzas in 20 minute shifts one table next to us got wings brought out, then a pizza, then another pizza, then Parmesan twists, then cinnamon twists, all in 15-20 minute intervals and they ordered at the same time. So inefficient! One couple behind us said every time they come it's a minimum one hour for a pizza. Ridiculous. The only redeeming thing was the pizza was tasty and the shift manager did come over and apologize for the mistake(s) with our pizza and offered us a coupon. Thanks, but no thanks. We won't be put through that hell again.

Under new management and it shows. My last dine in was excellent and I just had a pizza delivered quickly. The pizzas are awesome, the new manager is very nice. They are putting in some serious work to be better. Very impressed!

I love Round Table's food but hate this location. I keep coming back here hoping things will get better but they never do. More often then not, they wont even start making your food until it's supposed to be ready to pick up. They almost always screw even the most basic orders. If you have to come to this location make sure you add at least 30 minutes to whatever time they quote you and thoroughly check your order once it's ready (check toppings, sauce, everything).

Two hours to deliver a pizza!!! Keep up the good work and all you guy will be closed down..

Came in for the lunch buffet with my husband, and had to ask people behind counter to bus a table so we could sit down. Not because they were busy or packed, but because there were about 20 tables that hadn't been cleaned dirty plates and napkins on everything. Flatter asking, was told "yeah somebody is bussing right now" there wasn't. Ended up cleaning my own table so I could eat my lunch. Inexcusable and sloppy.
(2)Cam E.
The seating area is filthy. Staff doesn't seem very happy. Pizza was ok tho. Guess that is why they were not busy.

As I am sitting on my couch hungry, it is an hour and a half after I ordered my 8 piece boneless wings. I was originally told on the phone by the less than enthusiastic employee that it would be about 45 to 60 minutes and then abruptly hanging up on me. Hopefully my food is better than their service. Even after speaking to management they seemed less than enthusiastic about keeping a customer happy. The service is drab and rude. The delivery sucks compared to my usual round table in Beaverton. After an hour and 40 minutes, I called and they had just knocked. They offered a free pizza or wings next time. My 'boneless' wings had a bone in the center of the first one I bit into.

I have never wished a place to go out of business, but this location is a shining example of how the heck does it stay open as the service is that bad! I have given this place several tries, but after my last never again and I love Round Table. I placed a phone order and was told 40 minutes. Arrived a little after 40 minutes, paid and they couldn't find my pizza! They looked in the warmer, the oven, and what appeared to be several pizzas stacked on the oven and they still couldn't find it. Keep in mind this wasn't the first time this placed screwed up my order, I asked the cashier why this place keeps messing up and he simply said "Management". An unhappy women waiting next to me looked over and said "if it was any condolence I have been waiting 1 hour for this crap." No apologies from the employees or management. They offered to make me another pizza, would have been another wait with no discount, no comp. I asked for my money back and drove across the strip mall to Papa Murphy's. I grew up on Round Table, but I look forward to the day this location goes under. It's service is so bad nor does management care. Good riddance.

Do not order from this round table, the service is extremely slow no matter what time of day. Unreliable and uninformative stay away!
(1)Michael B.
This location actually has one of the better pizzas for a chain at affordable prices. I'm not comparing this to unique or gourmet pizza shops whom are much better. I usually prefer pizzas other than from pizza restaurant chains but will visit one occasionally if at the right location and the right time. There are several great gourmet pizza shops that I have reviewed and would much rather eat at.

Had to wait an hour and half for my pizza I ordered for pick up (this has happened 2x). The last time I ordered for pick up they had the pizza ready in the pick up oven and we had already paid. As we waited forever waiting for someone to call our name; no one called us, but after a long time waiting, we asked for it yup it was ready in the oven sitting there the whole time.. Worst experience ever, other Yelp reviewers experience the same situation. Plus the place is dirty and busy. So when you are waiting for your pizza you sit in a clean table (sorta) surrounded by tables needing to be bust. My husband and I love Round Table, but avoid this one please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't support it it's horrible customer service, I don't know how they are busy. I wish someone can call Dirty Dining on them and see if they are up to code!

We love Tuesday family night. We get a fresh salad with all the pizza we can eat. The manager is always ready to please. Just ask he will try his best to get you whatever you need. The best part is the cinnamon knots! There's just never enough.

This place is garbage!!l Last week I went to this garbage place and before i order my lunch I asked one of the employee who was at the cash register, how long will take if I order a Pizza since I have a limited time, he said it will only take 15 minutes, I believed him and ordered my lunch and sat and wait for 40 minutes, finally the same employed asked me are you waiting for your Pizza? I said yes, he said oh it's here, been here for 30 minutes, I said are you kidding me? He said no,and he asked me if I still want it, I told him you can have it for your dinner and walk away, they didn't even offer to return my money! I will never go back to this garbage place!!

This isn't my favorite pizza in the world, but it's OK. I don't do delivery from here because it is a bit of a way from home and I don't think they are the fastest when comes to delivery and I like my pie fresh and hot. A while back they got crazy with their prices and I stopped going, but with the coupons and all, it's a fairly decent deal. I prefer the original crust and I tend to go with light sauce. Their specialty pizzas are pretty decent. Service can be spotty at times and they do sometimes make mistakes on the orders, but I do like the pizza. I do wish the toppings were a bit heavier, but it isn't domino's light (OK, haven't had domino's in years, but from what I remember back then, Round Table beats them hands down).

I ordered a pizza online for delivery from the location on 185th. Apparently that location is closed so my order was transferred to the location on TV Hwy. i got a call that delivery would be 2 hours so instead I drove to pick it up. When I got there the restaurant was filthy and smelled terrible. I waited for 10 minutes at the counter and no one even acknowledged me. I understand they were slammed but come on! The salad bar was gross and dirty. On top of that, I was told that my card was never charged and that I owed money. I didn't want to not take the pizza after ordering it so I paid again and took their word for it. 2 days later the 2 charges showed up on my account. One charge included the delivery fee. Since then I have contacted the "area manager" Mark Doar for a refund and was told it was in process. I never received the refund (again it's been over a month) and he hasn't responded to my follow up emails. I called their corporate office last week to file a complaint and get a refund but still haven't heard from them. I'm really frustrated. I'm not sure what else I can do to get my money back. Be careful with these guys, you may be double charged!!!

I love coming here for the lunch buffet. They have a nice selection of pizza's and salad bar. The selections are limited, but the food good and satisfying.

Service is incredibly slow, even moreso than IHOP. If you want a pizza here, be prepared to wait a very long time; not to mention the pizza is not worth even a five minute wait.

We've just moved to the area so went with a tried and true favorite from our old home. Both times we've had pizza delivered, so I have no idea what the atmosphere/seating/parking are like. I do know that they ALWAYS tell me it will be 90 minutes and they are right. Why so long when there are so many pizza places in PDX? Because so few of these places deliver, it turns out. So we'll probably keep ordering delivery from them, but I'll keep "Yelping" around to find a new favorite. Sadly, with 2 kids under 3 years old, delivery is an important part of our lives; if I've gotta pack up the kids and all their gear to go out if had better be worth it, otherwise I'll just cook myself. Which means I'll probably be buying more of the Trader Joe's fresh pizza dough until I learn to make my own. All in all, it's desperation after a long day or a treat to not cook. Otherwise the pizza isn't good enough to justify the expense.
