If you want to be addicted to something, this is a good choice. Easy access off Cornell road or 185th. I go in every once in awhile to see what breads they are sampling. If I'm not careful, I would probably start buying everything in site. This bread is not only amazingly good (and addicting), but also healthy. Not a lot of ingredients and they are all your basic stuff (nothing you need your chemistry teacher to pronounce for you). My fave is anything with berries, or raisins. The counter people are always nice and are more than happy to cut you a huge slice to sample. I'll be back since it is really good bread that beats just about everything I've seen in a grocery store.

I LOVE the cinnamon chip bread from Great Harvest. It is just dangerous for me to have around. The garlic bread is also super yummy.

I love their Scones! During the summer when they bring in the fresh berries it makes me so happy. the creamchees varities are yummy too but I prefer them without it. Hazelnut/Chocolate Chip, Peach/Blueberry & Lemon/Blueberry are my favs, I'll call in the morning and figure out when they'll be out of the oven so I can get em' fresh as they get. On the bread tip - The specialty bread for March is Irish Soda Bread and their take on it is the best I have ever had. I cook a traditional feast for my family every year and order a dozen loaves of it in advance - if you want it on St. Pat's Day - get your order in early; they always sell out.

Just one thing I go here for: Breakfast buns! Bacon and turkey are the best, but get there early because they sell fast!

I have been buying Great Harvest bread for several years now. I love their Dakota and 8-Grain loaves. They are always fresh, very healthy and delicious. The service is super friendly. They will often offer a free sample of one of their breads (the cinnamon chip is a favorite :-) ) .

Yesterday was my first introduction to this incredible bakery. Never thought that I'd encounter anything like this, but was taken in by my husband who used to go to Great Harvest in SLC. The bread is made there and the freshness is apparent in the smell of the store and when you bite into the bread. There were a lot of people around, so we did not get the free sampling, but according to my husband he used to just go in, get samples and leave when he was a teenager.... surprised they never got angry about his and his buddies skateboarding there only to get samples. Well, their samples are big and when you eat it with the honey there, according to my husband, is just "bomb". The bread we got is Honey whole wheat. We ran home to open it up and wow... it smells like a real, natural bread. The bread itself is super soft, yet very dense. The bread by itself is delicious, and has a soft taste of honey in it. BUT if you add butter and honey to it... ADDICTING!!!! The people there are really kind, but what really makes this place great is definitely the bread!!! I will return for samples, and more bread and cookies!! A little pricy for us, but worth the money and would be a great gift for someone or even yourself (^o^)

Nothing brings me as much joy as the smell of baking wafting through the air. Opening the door to Great Harvest Bread Co did not disappoint, as the smell of freshly baked bread danced all around. You are greeted by one of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered, and a Grandmother's dining room feel. I ordered a half-sandwich for $3.95, to which you get to choose your own bread (at least four options), meat, garnishments and the like. My favorite part was the combo meal. For $1.75 you could choose two from a list of cookies, chips and carrots. I chose the baby carrots and the oatmeal raisin cookie. For $5.70, I got a DELICIOUS (and relatively healthy, I might add) meal, and while they made it, I got a sample of the Cinnamon Chip Bread. TO DIE FOR! Oh my goodness... that bread with the soft butter just... no words could describe. AMAZING. I would be in serious trouble if I worked there! I'd have to hit the gym twice a day. The bread is delicious and nutritious, the staff friendly and approachable, just an all-around fantastic experience!

Love this bread. Its also nice that they make plenty of it, where I lived before you had to get there early to get bread which doesn't work with my schedule. Friendly staff
