Wow! Orchestra of flavors!! F. R. E. S. H. Great tasting Pizza! Great tasting Twisted Bread! Great Online Ordering System! Awesome Delivery person! Flavors are Fresh! I got the large pizza with tomatoe sauce, jalapeños, pineapple, and smoked bacon with mozzarella. Majestic flavors marrying together making music in my mouth - oh so Yummy! I also ordered the buffalo hot wings, they are above average, nothing to be bustful about. They obviously specialize in pizza. The oddity was that the chicken meat is dry, the skin is juicy. I ordered a side of super awesome twisty bread with marinara sauce! Yummy! I ordered the side of Ceasar Salad, the sauce comes separate; lettuce cheese and croutons in one container. Nutritious and delicious! Paid $36.70 (included delivery fee of $2.39) + tip I'm pleased that delivery can taste sooooo delicious! Thank you for making this 1st time with your pizza castle, EXTREME PIZZA an awesometastic experience! EXTREME PIZZA ROCKS!!!

This place is completely mismanaged. They tend to have rude customer service reps and douche delivery drivers. I know this is a small establishment but really an hour for this greasy greasy pizza. I don't even know how fresh the toppings are. This place is gross. I have hundreds of dollars here when I could have just ordered Papa Johns.

Far and away the best tasting delivery pizza available at a reasonable price. Received order in only 25 minutes. I highly recommend!

It is Friday night. Pizza and Friday goes together. Called Extreme Pizza and they said yes we are open until ten. Wow only till ten? That's okay, we arrive at 9:15. They are stacking chairs on the tables. We say well we called and your door says open until ten. "Only got take out" Wow you have three customers ready to order but you don't need our business? Well that's okay. The only extreme thing about the pizza is the price. They don't deliver outside of about three blocks either. With high prices should come extreme service. Not so much. Skip them.

I'm visiting the area for job training and decided to check the place out. I chose delivery and ordered a calzone, wings, and arugula salad. We receives everyrhing we ordered. The calzone was not good. The dough has no seasoning as I didn't get a lot of flavor biting into the calzone. When I took the bite, the calzone was lukewarm. The wings can be compared to Pizza Hut wings. The arugula salad had more pine nuts than greens. Two stars are purely for bad flavor.

No need to go all Shakespeare on some pizza, but "The Boar'der" one of the specialty pizzas tis perfect. Cute atmosphere and really friendly service.

The pizza was good. Nothing to special. I was expecting more with a name like Extreme Pizza. It just seemed normal to me, not extreme at all. I thought the wings tasted like they were microwaved. Not good at all. If I wanted microwaveable wings I would have bought some at the grocery store. They sucked. Bad. Pricing was about average where they get you is the extra toppings. But overall this place ain't to shabby.

This place has some unique and interesting combinations of toppings - and lots of vegetarian pizzas that are really good. You can get away with a personal sized pizza with a couple of toppings and a salad for a pretty good price. I liked the Pandora's box. The crust just right - not too thick, not too thin. The website is really helpful if you're trying to keep your calories in check, but still want to indulge in some fresh-made pizza. A full nutrition menu is available, and lower-calorie pizzas are clearly marked for easy selection. I've only ordered for carryout pickup - the staff has always been helpful and efficient.

Very fun pizza varieties, and the staff is very friendly. Ingredients are definitely very fresh. Pizza is thin-crust - crisp and chewy crust, with inventive toppings. Overall very delicious.

Owner reached out to me after this happened, but because I didn't use yelp for a while I didn't see his message. I appreciate that he tried to remedy the issue.

Yay for vegan, gluten free pizza in Hillsboro! I've had better gf crust, and the price for the vegan cheese is a bit stupid... but I topped my pizza with roasted potatoes, roasted garlic, mushrooms and olives. It was pretty yummy! I hope they work on improving the crust recipe though. My husband has gotten the regular crust a few times with vegan cheese and he loves it. He tried the whole wheat crust and it was so-so.

Great beer selection, pizza is sub par. Pizza was lacking sauce and cheese was so thin I couldn't taste it. If it wasn't for the great IPA's on tap I would give this place 2 stars.

Had extreme pizza for the first time last night and found it to be pretty darn tasty. My fiancee and I were tired and didn't want to have something we'd had before so we decided to try this place. I ordered online and chose an individual sized Everest for myself and my fiancee had the Drag it Through the Garden. Additionally we had an order of their garlic twists (4 twists). The pizzas were both cooked just right. The amount of toppings was generous but not enough to cause the pizzas to fall apart. The individual size is the right size to go if you want to be satisfied but not have leftovers. The garlic twists were basically garlic grenades, though. At the time they were super tasty but a day later and multiple tooth brushings and I'm still occasionally tasting garlic. Can't say that I won't order them again, though. Delivery was pretty quick. When ordering online they indicated delivery would be 45-60 minutes but ours were delivered in the 35-40 minute range. I've read multiple reviews that question their delivery area but we had no troubles. We live roughly two miles away from their location. I suspect they've delivered to our apartment complex in the past, as their delivery person had no trouble locating our building and unit.

Not sure if there was a change of management, but they are doing MUCH better, and their pizza is still delicious!

I wasn't impressed with the calzone that I ordered. The size was great, but it was so oven-baked that it was charred black in many places and the fresh baby spinach leaves inside were shockingly bitter. I was not expecting the calzone to be as spicy as it was, but that wasn't so bad. After waiting for an hour for delivery and paying significantly more than I would normally, I was just disappointed. I really wanted to like the food - the variety was exciting and the promise of truly fresh ingredients was too hard to ignore, but I won't be ordering from here again. In summary, whatever wasn't bitter, inexplicably spicy, or tasting of charcoal was unremarkable. The delivery took as long as they told me it would and the delivery person was polite.

If I could I would give it 0 stars. There is no customer service, the lady at the counter made it seem like I was a bother while ordering. Didn't even tell me about their specials. I overpaid for a few single slices of cardboard pizza. The sauce tasted worse than Prego from a can. No flavor at all. The crust tasted like cardboard, and the toppings where not cooked through. Never will I return!!! Gross

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. I was so hungry and pizza sounded like it would hit the spot. I looked up the menu online and thought the flavors sounded pretty good. When I got there, it was clear this place was probably better for take out or delivery. I ordered the garlic twists as an appetizer and the poultry Geist pizza. The garlic twists were ok, but something was bitter. Not sure if it was the cheese, or the oregano, but something was off. The pizza was also bitter, again, not sure why. The chicken tasted previously frozen, and some of the broccoli was burned while other pieces were cold. Really not sure what happened in the cooking process. Over priced for what was delivered. Not a fan.

The pizza was just fine, but the prices? TOO EXTREME!!! I just don't like to pay thirty-two dollars american for two, two-topping pizzas, if the quality is just average.

I'm a pizza lover, and I can eat also freeze pizza from supermarket. I came to this place with a great atmosphere but the worst pizza I ever taste. They don't have a balance with the sauce, a lot of sauce, less cheese, and dough taste old.

I'm in agreement with another reviewer that the friendly, helpful staff and great menu are very helpful in putting together something satisfying. I also like the crust (not too much, not too crumbly) and the prices seem fair. Not a negative, exactly, but I had the Pandora as a slice (delicious and ample for one person) twice last week. First time it was better and I think it had to do with the time it spent at the end of the heat belt. The first day, the time spent heating was just right, with the generous amount of fresh basil still fresh, but second attempt was OK but not delicious, due, I think, to too much time under the lights after heating up . . . the basil was fried and frizzled. Still, I think this is an interesting pizza and sandwich joint I'd revisit, and wish there were more of them around town.

I wanted to like this place, but I will not be returning. I ordered a custom single slice of pizza and a couple bread sticks. They were both very disappointing. The pizza crust was like a pre-made frozen piece of cardboard I would expect from a grocery store. The tomato sauce was straight out of a can. The bread sticks were made of the cardboard crust twisted and some cheese thrown in the mix. Sorry guys, I expected more from xtreme pizza artists.

I was hoping for better pizza since this place seems to charge a lot for it... it was super greasy. The crust was cracker thin even though it was their "normal" crust. The Peace in the Middle East supposedly had hummus in it, I didn't see any! The other pizza was really good, it had some kind of meat and cilantro. Cant go wrong with cilantro! 8 of us ate this pizza, 8 of us ended up with food poisoning.... so safe to say we're never eating here again.

I had an Extreme Pizza delivered and I was not disappointed. First off, they deliver to my address and the other places that do are bad. The quality of the Extreme Pizza is far better than Domino's or the horrible Garlic Jim's. We've never had a bad experience in 3 orders. It's really good stuff. I'd recommend Ragin' Rooster with BBQ chicken with cilantro and the Screamin' Tomato. Both are healthier options with a ton of flavor. Like I said, really good stuff.

1st star: For delivery to our hospital-- though they brought our order to the COMPLETE opposite end of the building, even after I patiently explained to the girl on the phone the best/easiest place (for all involved) to take the pies, and repeated these simple instructions about 15 times... 2nd star: For bold, creative, flavorful creations. We particularly liked their Pandora's Box (veggie pie), Curry chicken, and Yardsale pies. We noted w/pleasure that Extreme is consistently quite generous w/their toppings. 3rd star: G-F. Yeah, I still roll my eyes at the concept (as in, why is it that the vain, pretty girls obsessed w/their appearance and weight, are always the ones that are allergic to friggin' gluten? Also, the forever-dieting-but-never-losing-anything-yet-Âstill-quite-vain-about-their-appearance gals? Gluten allergies, you betcha). But if you have a party and get these here GF pies, oh yeah the vain, GF girlies come runnin' outta the wood-work to divide and conquer these biznotches, like, with a quickness---in fact, they come as quick or quicker even, than someone who actually suffered celiac disease, and was racing to find the nearest john.... 3 naked stars seems a little miserly to me for this review, based on our experiences w/Extreme Pizza. If they approached a bonus half star, I'd go ahead and bump 'em to 4 stars. However, they assured me on the phone that their GF crusts were "cracker thin" (my personal preference for crust, most of the time), but what we got was a lot more like conventional +/-1" thickness. The whole gluten thing might have been enough to pacify the ladies, but between that and being at odds over the concept of "cracker thin" left me thinking of all the places I've had incredible pizza on actual cracker thin crust, and what can I say? E.P. must, for now, take a humble step or two back.

I have given the benefit of the doubt one time too many. Never have I been so disappointed by a pizza place. For the price alone, they should hold themselves to a higher standard. But they fail miserably. Three times now I have ordered pizza and been sorely disappointed. I order a pizza, it comes with TWO of the five toppings requested. I order again, and it looks like someone sat on the box. I order again, and somehow it takes 4 hours for the pizza to arrive. I order the pizza they gave me as a credit, and I actually took pics this time, because it looked like someone just threw the pieces in the box. It's effing ridiculous. This place does not deserve to be called a pizza joint. Domino's does it better, and I dislike Domino's.

We visited Extreme Pizza for the first time based on the positive reviews that we read online and we weren't disappointed. We played it safe and tried the Original Crust with the Yard Sale toppings. The taste was incredibly fresh and the perfect mix of sauce, veggies, meat and cheese. The orginal crust was the perfect thickness, not to thin, not too thick and had a great taste. Service to was excellent, pizza came out fast. We'll go back again soon and be more adventurous maybe next time and try something new.

This is our go-to pizza place in Hillsboro. They have a varied menu with plenty of non traditional "pepperoni or cheese" options. Since we live out of the delivery zone (boo Hillsboro delivery Bermuda Triangle) we always get take and bake, which is delicious and convenient in its own way (Never had a cold pizza!). There are always coupons and other deals on the well worth it pies.

Customer Service is poor. After two check-ins with yelp, there is a free twisted sticks offer. I tried to redeem it today, and they refused it. Why offer the coupon if you can't use it? The pizza is only okay. I came here more out of convenience, and after the experience today, I won't be back. $13+ for a med pepperoni pizza. A little pricy for my taste.

Extreme pizza is not the greatest pizza I've ever had - not by a long shot - but they deliver, offer wheat crust and provide a large variety of decent-tasting pies. Pros: - Wheat crust option - Large variety of pizzas - Delivery - Online orders - Decent taste Cons: - Slightly more expensive than their product warrants - Coupons don't always work when ordering online - Just decent taste As one fellow Yelper noted, the Westside is not flush with great pizza options. Therefore, Extreme Pizza fills a niche. Better pizza than the national chains with good choices and delivery. Hey, I'll take what I can get when I can't get away from the house.

Update - Nov. 18th - The owner Alan has been in contact with me and is working towards helping resolve my customer service situation. I will be going back to try Extreme Pizza. ------- Some businesses don't have a clue about customer service. Tonight, I was going to use a Restaurant.com $10 gift certificate to go to the Hillsboro Extreme Pizza, 1888 NW 188th Avenue. I placed a telephone order for my pizza. My gift certificate at the bottom specifically states "This restaurant gift certificate does not expire." The manager said they stop accepting this coupons a year ago and refused to honor my coupon. I told him that he just lost a future customer by not honoring my coupon, not to mention now he was left with a large pizza that he could not re-sell! He display no sense of customer service. Now as I read the past reviews, I can see why people have not been happy with Extreme Pizza.

1. Convinience. Though not at its best location for the other patrons, it is to me. 2. Thin crust pizza. One of my weaknesses. It has a decent sauce that is not too overpowering like the others and good blend of toppings. They don't overload nor skimp on it. 3. Cool staff. A bro- buddy i'll take your order and call me when you need me type of deal. Just the way I like it. They are not overbearing nor act like a stuck up barista talking about how the world revolves around him/her/ them. I may need to order more as I got the lunch menu and I think there's more to discover in their menu. They're not called extreme pizza for nothing. And that is besides the theme of the restaurant (extreme sports). The salad from their lunch menu might need some work. I find the dressing a little lacking in vegetable - dressing proportion. I am not a rabbit sir. I prefer my veggies moist. Other than that I had a pleasant lunch experience. A plus factor for the adults, they serve wine and beer (Widmer and etc)

Despite having worked just down the street of this place for nearly three years, and having watched the strip mall it's in get built... I didn't know Extreme Pizza was there. I found about them in a round about way and decided to try delivery and ordering online. Unfortunately we're one measly block outside their delivery radius as marked online and there is no bending of the rules. OK, so I'll go pick it up. Arrived and found the guy working the counter to be VERY talkative to the point of being almost annoying. Nothing specific, but after spotting the company logo on my shirt, he wanted to keep talking after the transaction was made. The bread sticks, or "Extremely Twisted Sticks," were nasty. They're made with pizza dough instead of any sort of bread. I know it's a scaling of economy, but how hard is it to have a bunch of pre-made real bread sticks sitting in the freezer? We had the Paia Pie, which is essentially a Hawaiian with the addition of mandarin oranges. It was an OK pizza, certainly better then any of the big chains. The problem is with the ovens and the way they cook pizzas, especially those with the cheese on top of the other ingredients. This leaves the (usually) meat luke warm or even cold. When I worked a pizza oven, we solved this by using two ovens. The pizza was placed in the first to cook the crust and the meat toppings. It was removed from the first oven, cheese added, then placed in the second oven. Then the second, cooler oven was used to melt the cheese and finish the process. It's a bit more labor intensive, but produces a far superior product. The crust was a bit on the flavorless side, but the sauce is pretty good. As noted the canadian bacon was a bit cool, but quite tasty and obviously of decent quality, instead of whatever was cheapest. We'll try it again, but at this point I don't see Extreme Pizza being a regular go to pizza joint.

Good: 1) The Boarder. Eat it. Really. 2) Pizza slices you could wear as a bonnet. Bad: 1) Delivery guy got lost. For a long time. I'd have given the Boarder a five if it hadn't been so late, even though I ate it two hours after it got cold in a desperate attempt for brain food. I was only going to eat a half slice. Barbeque sauce not too sweet, not overly cheesed but amply so, and tasty meat in sizable pieces. It was so good it was worth the 1/2 hour of discomfort of eating too much too fast. Might be good to deliver chili flakes; on the other hand they may think people would have a backup stash if they're really serious about spice. I did not. Maybe next time, I can upgrade it if it gets there on time, or if I pick it up myself.

My boyfriend ordered pick-up from here and brought it home. He got the "Yard Sale". I ordered the "Drag It Through The Garden" with no basil, extra cheese. It came with basil, couldn't see the extra cheese. And there was no broccoli. They must have gotten it mixed up (basil.....broccoli.....both start with a "b"???). It was OK. I've had better, but it sure beats the other options out this side of Portland. Would like to try the wheat crust & create my own pizza.

Extreme Pizza is located near the Streets of Tanasbourne. The sign for this unusual pizza restaurant is very visible from Cornell Road. Extreme Pizza was getting mixed reviews so I thought I'd stop by and see what all the buzz was about. The interior of Extreme Pizza is small but comfortable. The staff is warm, friendly, talkative, and helpful. There is one large screen TV which is sufficient for a restaurant of this size. Extreme Pizza is a very nice place to watch a sporting event. Most of the staff are die hard Ducks fans but they were kind enough to put up some OSU decorations. Speaking of decorations, the walls of Extreme Pizza are covered with pictures of skiers, mountain bikers, skateboarders, and other extreme sports. Pieces of surfboards protrude from the wall. The thesis here is clear: we're going to serve you an extreme and out of the ordinary pizza. To a certain extent Extreme Pizza achieves that goal. The pizzas here have imaginative names like: "Peace in the Middle East," "Green with Envy," and "Poultry Geist." Extreme Pizza is basically a thin crust pizza with toppings artfully placed on top. Ingredient choices include things like homemade hummus, marinated chicken, black beans, and shredded pork. Extreme Pizza even offers a "White Out" no cheese pizza. The prices here are more than fair. Extreme pizza offers an "Indee" which is an individual pizza for about $7.45. You can easily fill yourself up with pizza and have a drink for less than $10. Extreme Pizza also serves calzones, Buffalo Wings, sub sandwiches, and salads. You can order on-line and they also deliver. A pizza franchise that thinks outside the box and serves up an extreme pizza should go a long way. Some of us might be too old to skateboard but we can still enjoy an Extreme Pizza!

It became a little bit of The Quest trying to get a pizza at this joint. They brag up their delivery and have paid a couple of shekels to get first in line when you type that you want a pizza here in Yelp. The web site to place an order with them is very easy to use. I love any way I can communicate without actually having to interact with a human, so I was all about that. But then we get a phone call just a couple of minutes later and it was this very nice person telling me that they do not deliver to the 'Beave. Hmmpf! So now we are all settled into Hillhood and I thought that we were set for a little delivery action from Extreme. No, we were Extreme-ly disappointed. They do not. So, let's get the facts out right now. They deliver within a 3 1/2 mile radius of this location. Fin. All of the contact that I have had with the staff at this place has been very, very good. Nice kids. So, what about the pie? Think Papa John's meets California Pizza Kitchen in a dark alley and PJ's wins the rumble. Weirdo toppings like CPK. Sauce like PJ. Eh. I'm not done with them though. There are other possibilities. They do salads, calzones, subs. And, and this may be a good thing to know all of you distance challenged pizza lovers. They do take n bake. That might be a possibility for us to now that we have a Real Oven. I'm giving the pie a 2. The staff a 4. Pissing me off for making me work so hard for a Meh pizza, -1.5.

We didn't know what to expect of EP because of the reviews but we took a chance. The joint wasn't busy with diners - only one other couple on a Friday night - but the drivers delivering pizzas were in and out frequently. We ordered a half Kickin' Chicken and half Poultry Geist on original crust. The wait was 15 minutes which is reasonable. We were pleasantly entertained by the flavors of both halves. We will be back again to try other combinations

Really? I picked up a slice of Extreme Pizza for lunch today. Seriously? Do they mean extremely mediocre? That's got to be it. The slice I ate was just a smidgen better than frozen, grocery store pizza--and I'm talking Red Baron, not Wolfgang Puck frozen pizza. I'm going to go to my favorite neighborhood pizza joint for a slice tonight. I need to erase the memory of Extreme Pizza from my palette ASAP. Blech.
(2)
Gary S.
Let's be honest, the west side is awash with mediocre pizza. There isn't one pizza place even close to the likes of Ken's Artisan Pizza. That said I've eaten here twice in the last week and both pizzas were pretty good, easily better than any other west side pizza establishment that I've tried and I think I've eaten at most of them. The first pie was a Pandora's Box which is a vegetarian pizza. Now I'm not a big fan of non meat pizzas but it wasn't bad. Add some chiles and Tabasco and it was quite good. The veggies were cooked but not over cooked. We didn't get the tomato sauce, it's optional, but if I were to order it again I'd go for the sauce. Tonight we had the Aviero, a linguica and smoked bacon pie with pepperoncini and roasted red peppers plus all the standard stuff. We had them throw on some jalapeños for some extra kick. The pie came to the table right from the oven and the linguica was was cooked right with just a bit of char. OK, so I enjoyed the pizza. Does that mean that everything is great with the pies? Unfortunately no, when I ask and pay for an extra ingredient I'd like to not have search for it. The jalapeños were practically missing in action tonight. I know that New York style pizza is supposed to have a crust that's soft and foldable but they could turn the heat up bit on the pizzas so that the crust doesn't get soggy quite so quickly. One other point, Extreme Pizza tries to make their pies healthy, if such a thing as a healthy pizza actually exists, so their pies aren't smothered in cheese and greasy meats so you may want to order extra cheese or meat. I found the amount to be more than adequate but there was a time in my carnivorous past that I would have wanted more. Overall the quality of the ingredient is high, have I had better? Yes, but I've also had to pay more for a smaller pie. Tonight we shared a spinach salad, gotta get those greens and if anything their salads are the best deal on the menu. We made the mistake of ordering the entree sized salad and it was more than the two of us could eat.. Note to self, order small salad next time. The salad fixings were fresh and we didn't find one bad leaf of baby spinach in the salad. We asked for two different dressings on the side and they were happy to comply. A plus as my wife an I can't agree on salad dressing. I'll definitely go back for pizza and a small salad.

I have a pet peeve with places like this. I went out to their website, double-checked that they deliver to my zipcode, went through the process of ordering, giving them my credit card, etc... Only to be called 10 minutes later and told that they don't actually deliver to where I live. My response? Get your technology together so you aren't wasting people's time. Ridiculous.

I feel bad giving them a 1 star review when I didn't even pay for my pizza slice. I had the day off and was planning on running some errands out in that area. I just happened to see on the morning news that they would be giving away slices that afternoon and what do you know? I ended up at my last errand in the same strip mall as Extreme Pizza. Do I decided to give them a try. I received a slice of the cheese pizza. I mean, how bad can someone screw up a slice of cheese slice? Well, now I know. The crust has a similiar flavor and texture to cardboard. The sauce tasted like the can it came in and the cheese had NO flavor. The only thing "extreme" about the slice was how bad it was. Service seemed friendly.

Order 15 minutes before they close on a Saturday night? Be prepared to have the person working that night call you back to tell you they won't make your online order 2 minutes after you hit submit. When I worked at a pizza place we took orders and filed them during our posted hours of business. Even if we were busy. Add in especially outrageous prices for slices and middling taste, I will never attempt to give Extreme Pizza my business again.

Update: Really great service on the recent visits, i had to come back and upgrade my review. Pizzas are coming out on time pretty much all the time now. Plus, the customer service is way better than average. Somehow they remember everyone's name that gets in there and what they always order. Nice little personal touch.

Husband & I just went here for a quick slice on our way back to downtown Portland. We ate cheese pizza which, while it filled our need for food, was not stellar. The girl behind the counter was super friendly, though, and that was great. The price was pretty good as far as slices of pizza go- we got 3 slices and a drink for $10. All in all, we probably won't go back again, but I wouldn't say it's not a good place to grab something quickly.

UPDATED AGAIN: I was contacted by two managers addressing the problems and explaining corrective action. I'm upgrading my review because to be honest, though they screwed up pretty badly, their efforts to address the problem have been above and beyond. UPDATED: I did get a call after the SECOND email to corporate. IMHO, their problems with customer service are endemic, and they need a serious overhaul of how they handle customers, but at least the effort was made. ------------- Epic fail in every way. 9:32 on Friday night, order placed WELL before closing time (see, I read reviews too...) 11:04PM... cryptic message from driver saying that he drove around to a WRONG ADDRESS and couldn't find the place (my correct address was on the email confirmation, so I know THAT wasn't it) but that they're closed and if I want my pizza, I will have to come in to the store and pick it up. Saturday morning, email to customer service AND to "Simone Taylor" (listed for Billing Inquiries, Customer Service Matters, Donations & Book Keeping on the Extreme Pizza Web site) simply asking for them to credit back my card since the pizza was never delivered. Crickets... Nothing Monday. Nothing this morning. Now, I have to go dispute a $15 charge with my bank because these guys care SO LITTLE about customer service that they won't even given a full business day? Zero stars. Epic fail. Borderline fraud. I hesitated before posting this review because I generally like reviewing food and am tolerant of the inevitable glitches in restaurant service. But these guys are so bad and so contemptuous of BASIC FINANCIAL customer service that the word needs to get out about them. Don't reward this kind of asshattery; take your money elsewhere.

The pizzas are OK. But what's so special of this West Coast chain is that it has the best gluten free pizza in town (favourite topping is Yard Sale).

Food = 4 stars Service = 5 stars It was such a breath of fresh air to finally go to a lunch pizza place and have a good experience. More and more the other lunch pizza chains have slid down the slide mediocrity in both quality of food and service. I got the Slice+Salad+Drink lunch for $7 Their house salad comes w/ mushrooms which I don't like in a salad, and the very friendly employee said without hesitation "I can make a fresh one for you w/o mushrooms" BAM, service, in my face. I got peperoni on my pizza. I took a seat outside, 3 minutes later I was presented a generous red-leaf salad with ripe red tomatoes, red onions, and shredded carrot, all of which were fresh and crispy. Nice presentation. The pizza came out almost immediately as I finished my salad. Thin, crispy crust, sauce seeping through a perfect layer of well baked mozzarella, and it was a very large slice; they cut their slice in half for convenience, which I thought was a unusual, but nice touch. Other than this is not NY, there was nothing wrong with this pizza and it was probably a 7.5 to 8 outta 10 if I'm using my "As compared to the slices I had while living in NY for 4 years" scale. I will return, and advise friends to frequent. I would love to try a whole pie, and a plain slice sometime.

Very fresh toppings with lots of neat combos. The only down side to this place is their gluten free crust had no real taste and was a up charge from regular.

Meh. I've experienced better (as per the star blurb rating) is so true. My Sweets had been wanting to try this place, we were nearby and after having a hellish court date, we just wanted something easy. Unfortunately, we really should have gone elsewhere then! We walk in just a wee bit before the lunch rush hour (about 10:45) but the place was EMPTY! Oh-oh...not a good sign. Esp in this area's well-known lunch rush hours. We were greeted fairly quickly (I mean, really, there were several people just standing around and we were the ONLY customers there). They had the specials of the day listed, so we asked about their gluten-free option. Nah-huh, available only in the 18" size and you have to buy a whole pizza (even tho their website says it's the 12" size?). Dang. Since the feeling we got was that we were 'really putting this gal out' for even being there, we decided on a couple of their special slices and sat down. Fast forward 30 minutes. 30 minutes?! Yep...that's how long it took us to get our pizza slices. They must be made to order. It was fresh, the crust was thin (which made the hubby very happy), but the toppings were just ok in quantity. Schmizza definitely puts more on their slices. So, while waiting for our slices to arrive (still no other customers), some friends of the owner or workers come in with their kids, that they proceed to allow to run wild. All the while, the mom keeps telling the kids, 'no, don't do that. no, don't run in the street (while the kid obviously is, but the mom is too busy chatting at the counter to actually parent her kid)' and so on. Ugh! Made for a less than pleasant atmosphere, that's for sure. Esp since we had to keep telling the mom that her kid was in the street...again, and again, and again. Also, while waiting for our pizza, my hubby notices that there is a lunch special price for 2 slices and a drink, cheaper than what we were charged. When he asked about it, he was told we couldn't get the special price cause we ordered 15 minutes before the lunch hour (11am). Ouch! Idiots. So, mediocre pizza, a bit on the spendy side, rude service, obviously not highly trafficked by the lunching locals (by the time we left at 11:30, there STILL were no other customers!) = NOT going back again!! Also, as for the gentleman who posted a nasty comment back to me, I CAN back up my story of this visit. I was out of court by 9:45 & we came straight to this place. Putting us there well before 11am (it does NOT take that long to get from downtown Hillsboro to 185th). We did NOT get the lunch special, since got waters & not sodas once we were told we wouldn't get the specials.

In the land of cookie cutter chains, fast food gone wrong, and food being less then fresh, Extreme Pizza does earn the 4 stars for SCREAMING FRESH VEGETABLES. The crust, ok not the best but far from the worst. The toppings are key here, and they do a plentiful job of putting them on. The drag it through the garden veggie for 2 is enough to feed 4 normal humans. The baja 100o is interesting, the boar'der pleasant and not overwhelming, and the green with envy is tasty. Could it be improved, you betcha. Am I complaining, no way. This definitely makes my top 5 pizza places including New York, Chicago, Dallas, Japan, and Montana(ok not known for pizza but hey). Their salads and sandwiches are nice, large and fresh too!

Pizza is just OK, nothing special and overpriced for the quality. Customer Service is terrible and nonresponsive if you have an issue. Our last order for delivery was lost. After calling they blamed the company they contract with as being the problem...but it was there and she read it back to me including the correct time I ordered. After a little over two hours and three phone calls we received our order. I had to pretty much beg to get 10% off when none of this was my fault. For the attitude I dealt with for their mistake I feel something more should have been done automatically and I shouldn't have had to ask for any type of discount. The attitude we received on the phone has caused them to lose our personal business and our company business. We will no longer order from them as the pizza is just so-so and without any customer service why bother? I sent a complaint to their corporate site feedback link, no response from them either. So I am glad I received an email today from Extreme, with links so I could provide customer feedback.

I've experienced better at almost every pizza place I've ever heard of; they never spammed me to get me to try their pizza. EXTREME Pizza did spam me, which was odd. I drive by all the time but don't really care. I would guess it's okay. Every letter is capitalized, unlike the way it's listed here on Yelp. Maybe if I watch Harold and Kumar then happen to drive by EXTREME the next day I'll stop in for a Mountain Dew.

Pretty good thin crust New York style pizza. The crust is hard on the bottom and bit chewy on top. The sausage was high quality and good. A little less sauce then I would like but it probably kept the pizza from getting soggy. The real star was the Wobb salad, which contained moist slices of chicken breast, gorgonzola, tomato and copious amounts of crumbled bacon. The pizza was a little greasy (pizza usually is) but not excessive. My only complaint is that it took close to 40 minutes to get our pizza and salad to go, but they had a party of 10 or 12 people, which caused the delay. And they forgot our blue cheese dressing on the side. Still it was the best pizza I've had in this area. I would go back. It's in the same shopping center as rice is nice and aries sportsware, the map was a little confusing.

Ok, so if you're feeling tempted to get the combo with 2 slices of pizza and a drink.. keep in mind that each slice is like, 2 slices of "normal" pizza. My boyfriend and I accidentally wound up with a TON of food, holy cow. The pizza wasn't bad. I liked the sauce. The cheesecake was pretty mediocre. The service was good. Oooh but they have these breadstick things with cheese and garlic that are deeeeliscious! I'd go back just for those.

Oh I am in love! What....with a pizza? It's true! The white out with Whole wheat crust is so yummy. Lots of flavor and I can't usually have pizza because I am severely lactose intolerant. I never get to eat pizza with my friends......until now! Generous toppings and they deliver. Try them!

Terrible delivery service! One hour and forty-five minutes for delivery. Employees did not apologize. All they said was "it's only been an hour and half right? My delivery personnel is out the door right now." good job Extreme Pizza!!!

Great selection of good pizzas with funny names, and a good selection of local beers on tap. Overall it's good pizza, but not great if you're a fatty like me who likes tons of toppings. Online ordering is cool.

Delivery zip codes listed onsite are inaccurate. Their system took my order (and my credit card information). I got an order confirmation, and then a phone call saying they won't be honoring my order. I spoke with a very rude person who was supposedly a manager - she didn't seem concerned at all that they were missing an opportunity to gain new business.. Too bad they lost a potential new customer. Too bad for me that they have my cc number and address... we'll see how that goes.

I like their pizza, but I really don't like their customer service! I've been going here for years and I keep saying I'll give them "one more chance", and I think they've finally blew it. Tonight I had ordered a pizza ahead of time, and when I went in to pick it up the dude at the counter said only 3 words to me "That'll be $". I was a bit taken aback, as I always make an effort to be super nice to people making my food for me-- when I said thank you, he didn't say anything-- he literally handed me my pizza box, turned around, and walked away. This wasn't really a shock to me, because their customer service hasn't impressed me one single time (like I said my husband and I have been going there for years). I really want to like this place-- I see so much potential! If they could perhaps train there employees a bit more regarding the VALUE of customer service, maybe business would pick up for them.

Initial impression is not good. We phoned in our order. For two, very non-special, pizza pies, one a 14 inch, the other a 16 inch, a salad, and an order of breadsticks, the cost for pickup was over $50. We still wanted to give them a try, so reduced the order to the 14 inch pie with pepperoni and sausage, along with the salad, which still came to $27. While the three others in the family enjoyed the pizza (thus 3 stars and not one or two), I didn't think it was anything to crow about.

My husband and I tried this place because of their gluten free pizza. First, we ordered over the phone for pick up. We were told it would take 45 minutes. No problem. We get there 45 minutes later to pick up our pizza. We weren't acknowledged when we walked up to the counter and they said they didn't start our order! We sat in their restaurant and after waiting a long period of time; we almost walked out. I'm tired of crappy customer service. Sometimes people have bad days, so we stayed for our order. Their GF pizza crust was horrible and mealy, their sauce was bland and it was almost as though it was tomato paste. For the price, which is more expensive and a lot smaller than Garlic Jim's, (for prices of GF pizza, I want a couple meals out of it) I expected at the very least a decent pizza. I thought it might have been just mine but I asked my husband and he said his was awful too. We won't be going back there!

Pretty good pizza. Prices were appropriate for quality and size. The place looked like a ripoff of a Pizza Schmizza though, not real original. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was nearly empty, which was nice for us, but maybe not a great sign for the business.

I went here once in 2009 to check it out because I work nearby. I found Extreme Pizza to be the same mediocrity that encompasses the Tanasborne-Hillsboro-Beaverton area. Nothing special about the pizza. The price wasn't too bad. It was just very average. In this area, I would rather go to Pizza Schmizza in Tanasborne. I think the name, Extreme Pizza, is dumb too.

We love going here! The employees are always really friendly. They have a great salad. We love the pizza with walnuts. Can't remember the name but it's the only one with walnuts. We add chicken, mushrooms, and tomato sauce and love it. We also like the Baja 1000 which has black beans and green chili's. Have been happy with everything we have had from there!!! They also have good beers on tap. Pizza and beer...helloooo!!!

I'm reviewing this in surfer speak. I mean the name is just begging for it. LETS DO THIS!!!!! Begin surfer speak/ Dudes, this is pizza to the EXTREME!!!!!!!!!! Way?? YES WAY!!! OMG check it bro's, usually I find pizza pretty gnarly and only want it once a year but man they put a ton of toppings on their pizzas, it's pretty awesome that I'd be stoked to order from here again. So totally EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crust is totally thin and I'm diggin it. Whoooooaa..!!! Dudes, delivery was also right on time. RIGHT ON!!! The yard sale was pretty tasty with a lot of fresh veggies.. RIGHTEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I've totally had their pizza twice now and am diggin it, it's bitchin every time. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Located next to Muchas gracias and if you're a pizza snob than bro, it's time you bag your face with that totally gnarley attitude cuz this is radically legit. A little pricey.. Cheeuh but dudes.. it's quality tasting ingredients and they're totally EXTREME with the quantity they dump on. TOTALLY TUBULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of California Pizza Kitchen but taken to the EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheeuh... totally. They also offer sandwiches, salads and wings.. MOST TRIUMPHANT. The only not happenin thing is that their person who answered the phone was totally not that friendly, not mega stoked at all to be speaking to me. Sounded just like a robot low on batteries!!!!!.. whoooooa.. gnarley..but it's cool dudes- I forgive you. So don't expect the most personable experience and sayings such as: ZOMG bro, your order is so totally EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be so fun though, I'd be all into that. TOTALLY EXCELLENT!!!! All in all, this is pretty yummy to the EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Totally Righteous!!!!

Having weekly pizza night is good and bad. Having pizza at least once a week definately the good part. Having to eat the same old pizza every week the bad. That is until we found Extreme Pizza - definately a great change of pace from the normal chain pizza places. Great selection and the toppings are packed full onto the pizza. Great value for the meal and great eats! Everytime we come in whether to just pick up to go, or decide to sit on the patio and have a beer the service has been great!

I just moved. I love pizza to me, it is food of the gods and it has been a week since I have eaten it which is several days too long. Here is my story. Despirate to find something other than standard chain pizza that will deliver to my new house, I tried extreme pizza. Nice guy on the phone, who promised 30-45 minutes. 1 hour and 10 later, a nice young woman shows up at my door with a pizza that has slid in the box. I do not like putting back 1/2 a pizza that has slid on the other half-especially when the two halves had different toppings. The pizza by now has spent so much time sweating in the box that there is no delight. Instead I am stuck with too many (yes-too many) toppings on soggy crust which even though thin is not entirely cooked on top (because of too many toppings). Add the soggy/sweaty component and it is not pleasant. Mealy tomatoes. Ick. Didn't love the sauce either, too spicy for me and the tastebuds on my tounge are just a little unhappy.. I had to add parmesan to enhance the flavor. Good pizza does not need it. I was thinking this was the same chain I tried once in California that I did not like. Indeed it was and after this experience I will choose better next time. Besides, I am a pizza traditionalist and don't need 'extreme', I just need the basics done right. Two stars because the people were nice. Otherwise just one.

I loved their wings....really tasty! Pizza was delish and with the fresh veggie toppings it is a "healthier" option when you are in the mood for some pizza pie. It is also a great way to get your kids to eat their veggies. Nice way to mix up the boring old pizza....aka Dominos, Pizza Hut. Plus they have wine (try the red) and beer! :)

Fast delivery, although I am just down the street. Great toppings, good crust and no compliants. Had their pesto base sauce and it was amazing. Haven't been to the location, but definitly a must for delivery if you live in their area.

My husband and I give this place 5 stars. We love the pizza. So far we have enjoyed every pizza we have tried. I love Pandora's Box! It is one of my favorite pizzas. The canadian bacon and pineapple is amazing too. I love how fresh everything is and it isn't greasy.

Okay, let's be honest here people...this is some of the best pizza on the westside! I seriously go here a couple times a month. I'm not sure what the few of you naysayers are griping about, I've never had a bad experience. Pizza is excellent and fresh, good selection of beers on tap, Dr. Pepper in the fountain, cool & friendly staff, big LCD for watching sports...what else does a fella need? If it's a full pie I'm after, it's the Yard Sale, seriously delicious. If not it's the "slice" of the day, which is really two slices, and for under $5. I live in the Tanasbourne area so I used to go to Schmizza or Pizzacato for my slices, but I rarely stray since this joint opened. It's a nice thin crust, not all doughy, you don't leave feeling bloated taking the belt down a notch. It's kinda tucked away if you're not looking, so keep your eyes peeled. I take people here all the time and not one single person has left dissatisfied, in fact most of them are all now loyal customers. There's even a little patio out front for the 6 sunny days a year we have. I Extremely recommend it, see what I did there?

Okay well how to describe this? It's pizza Gone Extreme or so they say, what it really is, is mediocre crust with lots and lots of pretty good toppings piled on!!! The Pizza's are PHAT "pretty hot and tasty", they pile the ingredients, great if your drinking!!!! They are a needed change from pizza hut and papa johns only thing is, they, like all pizza places are stuipidly expensive for bread with some stuff on top but they deliver and that means you only have to get up once to answer the door (you can order online if you're to ripped to talk to someone on the phone)!!! Try it!!!

Rett W.
I will eat almost anywhere as long as the cost equals the quality. I would not eat at this place again if they gave it away! The pizza was the worst I have ever tried to eat! Not only was the Pizza terrible, it was way over priced! Throw in the echoing atmosphere with screaming children and you have one miserable evening! Go to Pizza Schmizza! You will be much happier!

Ordered a calzone, large pizza, and spinach salad. I agree with an earlier reviewer that I expect sauce on top of the calzone. In general there wasn't much sauce - it had a lot of ricotta cheese though. It may just be me, but everything seemed a little short on the salt side. I'd still go there again with a coupon though.

Ragin' Rooster is the best BBQ chicken pizza I have ever tried!!! There is so many toppings to choose from. My son thinks the place is very exciting and fun to go to. He really likes the pizza too. I love meat pizzas, but Pandora's box is everything but. I could not believe how tasty the pizza was it is right up there with Ragin Rooster. If you get a chance to go you won't be sorry. The salads are very tasty too. My little nephew likes the boneless chicken wings. He goes crazy when he sees them! Check it out!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Latoya H.
(2)Debra C.
Far and away the best tasting delivery pizza available at a reasonable price. Received order in only 25 minutes. I highly recommend!
(5)Betty C.
Skip them.
(1)Javier P.
(2)Bethy A.
No need to go all Shakespeare on some pizza, but "The Boar'der" one of the specialty pizzas tis perfect. Cute atmosphere and really friendly service.
(5)Morganann P.
(3)A E.
(4)Megh R.
Very fun pizza varieties, and the staff is very friendly. Ingredients are definitely very fresh. Pizza is thin-crust - crisp and chewy crust, with inventive toppings. Overall very delicious.
(4)Christopher F.
Best pizza and price in the Tanasbourne area. Great ingredient quality. Excellent customer service.
(5)A C.
Owner reached out to me after this happened, but because I didn't use yelp for a while I didn't see his message. I appreciate that he tried to remedy the issue.
(4)Ludo N.
(4)Ryan A.
Great beer selection, pizza is sub par. Pizza was lacking sauce and cheese was so thin I couldn't taste it. If it wasn't for the great IPA's on tap I would give this place 2 stars.
(3)Patrick D.
(4)Leyla D.
Not sure if there was a change of management, but they are doing MUCH better, and their pizza is still delicious!
(4)Taya A.
(2)R32 D.
Gross
(1)Megan L.
Not a fan.
(2)Cory L.
I like the pizzas and wings, I just wish they delivered beer like in Sacramento
(3)Andrew M.
They are a great place to eat. Really appreciate their gluten-free pizza. Delicious gluten-free crust. Very different pizza, love the variety. The owner came and talked with us one time, super awesome guy. Made me love supporting his business.
(4)Food J.
Solid pizza , has many options ...VEGAN! Also....wheat crust is healthy alternative ...good deal on growlers ...place is a little on the expensive side but much better then papa johns pizza hut etc ...
(5)Brenden W.
The pizza was just fine, but the prices? TOO EXTREME!!! I just don't like to pay thirty-two dollars american for two, two-topping pizzas, if the quality is just average.
(2)Tulio E.
I'm a pizza lover, and I can eat also freeze pizza from supermarket. I came to this place with a great atmosphere but the worst pizza I ever taste. They don't have a balance with the sauce, a lot of sauce, less cheese, and dough taste old.
(2)Eileen L.

(5)Lisa T.

(3)Becky J.

(4)Stacey D.
We love this place such a great atmosphere. The pizza is fantastic so many choices which is a nice change of pace. I really recommend this place :)

(4)Anna S.

Thank you. Good pie.

(2)JoE C.
This place is so boring and the pizza is bland. If you like that kind of thing then come here.
(2)J C.
Love the variety! Our family requires no cheese, soy cheese, vegetarian AND traditional pizza st one sitting and we can get something for everyone here. Its delicious.
(5)Peter B.
(4)Wolf L.
Blech.
(2)Gary S.

Ridiculous.
(1)Lindsay L.
(1)Maritsa D.
Thank you to a great manager and for having gluten free pizzas :)
(5)Samantha O.
(1)Shaun C.
Update: Really great service on the recent visits, i had to come back and upgrade my review. Pizzas are coming out on time pretty much all the time now. Plus, the customer service is way better than average. Somehow they remember everyone's name that gets in there and what they always order. Nice little personal touch.
(4)Shelby M.
(3)Richtpt U.
Really excellent pizza and first class service! Nice place to sit, enjoyed a nice time with the family, and the staff was making sure we were doing ok. AWESOME place, we'll be going back there many frequently!!!!
(5)Diana L.
Great pizza with a LOAD of toppings! I've only had take-out, but the slices are HUGE and very filling. Delicious pizza that accommodates both meat lovers and vegetarians. Highly recommended!
(5)Leslie S.
Friendly employees, and hot, fresh pizza each and every time. I love the variety and every one I have tried has been tasty and fresh tasting. You have to try the yard sale!
(5)Jim C.
(3)Danyel S.
The pizzas are OK. But what's so special of this West Coast chain is that it has the best gluten free pizza in town (favourite topping is Yard Sale).
(4)Neil W.
(4)Shawn L.
Very fresh toppings with lots of neat combos. The only down side to this place is their gluten free crust had no real taste and was a up charge from regular.
(4)Lise S.

(4)John G.
(2)Spencer T.
(2)Tiffany T.
(4)Katie W.
(3)Stacia B.
Oh I am in love! What....with a pizza? It's true! The white out with Whole wheat crust is so yummy. Lots of flavor and I can't usually have pizza because I am severely lactose intolerant. I never get to eat pizza with my friends......until now! Generous toppings and they deliver. Try them!
(5)James T.
Terrible delivery service! One hour and forty-five minutes for delivery. Employees did not apologize. All they said was "it's only been an hour and half right? My delivery personnel is out the door right now." good job Extreme Pizza!!!
(1)jason b.
Great selection of good pizzas with funny names, and a good selection of local beers on tap. Overall it's good pizza, but not great if you're a fatty like me who likes tons of toppings. Online ordering is cool.
(3)Kim L.
(1)B K.

Love these guys! They make amazing pizzas. I love that I can get whatever I want by the slice.

Try it!!!
