We went for buffet lunch on a Saturday. The staff was warm and friendly. I would say this restaurant had concentrated on quality over quantity. The buffet option were slightly limited as compared to other Indian restaurants. But what was there, tasted good. Maybe the tandoori chicken was a little bland and I was craving for chicken briyani but it wasn't there. The rest were really good. Their bhatura was heavenly and sooo soft. The pizzas were the highlight. They had two desserts too. Rice pudding and gulab jamun. The very next day we ordered two large pizzas of Butter chicken and some cant-rmb-the-name paneer pizza. Both were excellent. Esp the butter chicken. It wasn't too heavy but very creamy with the right spice level. Try their 3pm-5pm happy hour specials. We got both pizzas for just $14.

Awesome goat curry with authentic taste of Indian Masalas. Good part is that they have starting serving Halal meat for muslim customers. The quantity is good for 2 people. You should go for it... its going to be their hotshot dish!

For pizza lovers, this is a great place for Indian and Indo-Chinese options. I ordered vegetarian take-out early in the evening: three large (16-inch) pizzas and two appetizers for a group of eight, including Indians and non-Indians. The woman who prepared my order was polite, friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient. Everyone enjoyed all the food. Will definitely go again.

Buffet indian+italian style. Delicious, fresh, did I mention all you can eat? There's swagat and channai marsala near by, I know. But none of them have pizza :) Very happy they're so close to work.

Consistently good for both dine in and carry out. The buffet on the weekend is a great way to sample all of their dishes. There are several options for Indian in the area and this is my favorite of the bunch.

Please do try the pizza, the crust is the best I have had so far. For the rest of the menu, it's average.

Best rotis and Naans in town.. If you are looking for fresh north Indian food, this is the place to go!!

I m a big fan of indian style pizzas and I'm glad I found a good one very close to home. We ordered the pav bhaji pizza, tandoori chicken tikka pizza, paneer tikka masala pizza as a takeout. I had to wait close to 30 minutes to get the pizzas but it was worth the wait. It is hard to pick a favorite of these three. It was delicious, flavorful and fresh. Try this and you will be a fan !

Got the chicken tandoori tikka pizza (spicy) for take out. The pizza was ready in 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly. The pizza was very good. The only reason I'm not giving it a five is because it doesn't quite stack up to New York pizza, but still very good for what you'll find in Oregon

Decent indian buffet lunch in hillsboro. They had rajma, chicken curry, butter chicken, palak paneer and gulab jamuns. Nothing extraordinary, just your usual Indian fare that you get in most US cities.

INDIAN FOOD ON PIZZA?!?!? WHY HASN'T ANYONE THOUGHT OF THIS EARLIER!?! As a car-less visitor to Oregon and the Hillsboro area, I was very limited by where I could eat. Luckily, this little place is right off the Hawthorne Farm MAX station. Hooray for the MAX! Apparently they have a lunch buffet for $10 but I was there for dinner and only one thing was on my mind after reading the yelp reviews: PIZZA. How have I not tried this earlier?!? Tis a genius idea I tell you. I got the spinach paneer pizza. The small size is more than enough for one person with a large appetite. At a reasonable price of $10, how can you not take advantage of this good deal!! They also offer larger sizes. I waited for about 10 min for my pizza, and was greeted by the aromatic smell of spices when I was handed my pizza box. I had to muster all my willpower to keep from eating it while I was on the MAX back to my hotel. It was delicious! The paneer was a little crispy from baking in the oven!!! Crispy cheese!! The crust is like a very dense and crispy naan. Not your usual pizza crust, that's for sure. I couldn't finish all of it in one go. This might actually be something I'll crave. Don't know when I'll be back, but I'll be on the lookout for more. Props for a little hideaway gem!

We ordered pizza from Curry and Crust through Delivered Dish. A palak paneer pizza, a butter chicken pizza, and a cheese pizza. It was expensive but I think Delivered Dish may augment the prices a bit. I liked the butter chicken especially. It was savory and delicious. The sauce was right and the chicken tasted good. The palak paneer was good, but my slice only had 1 chunk of paneer ( another person's had four. Humph!)It was also a little on the wet side. A slightly thinner layer of curry might be more effective. We got the cheese pizza for Princess. It arrived with a rather bland tomato sauce. She didnt like it. The rest of us thought it was adequate. The pizza came with raita, which was yummy. I think this was a fine experiment. I'm looking forward to going in person to try more of their offerings.

It's more than just your usual Indian restaurant. They make pizza too! They offer several Indian style pizzas that looked wonderful. I got A combo plate, the flavor was wonderful but a bit spicy for me.

As a wedding and event planner I like to try out different places before I send my clients there. We have these "events" called Mystery Dates. I love incorporating ethnic foods as it is a new and fun experience for my clients. I do not have a lot of Indian restaurants on my list. I also have not eaten a lot of Indian food as I have typically found it too spicy for me so I wanted to add some to my list. My husband and I tried this place a few weeks ago and we LOVED it. We took out kids and not only was the food good but so was the service. We ordered some items and the Manager came to verify what we wanted to order and asked if she could give us some recommendations based on the kids. We gladly accepted (we aren't super familiar so we just ordered based on what we "thought" our kids may like) Everything she recommended was amazing, tasted perfect, was not too spicy and she even explained some of the differences to us. We will for sure go back. In fact our kids have already asked when we are going back. Thank you for not only providing a fun experience for us but also for the great recommendations and not being afraid to give us some.

Since I can't give them a zero in terms of the star on yelp, I am writing this review to highlight their unprofessional behavior about a mistake they committed. We ordered a paneer tikka massala pizza along with a roasted garlic pizza and chicken tikka massala. I am a vegetarian because of my religious beliefs. To my horror I discovered chicken pieces on the vegetarian pizza that I ordered. When I called them to tell about this, instead of hearing a, "we are sorry" and "it would never happen again". The man who answered the phone, was rude and instead of apologizing started telling me that the lady who prepared the pizza had 100's of orders to process. I was disappointed in the way they reacted on a mistake on their part.

  • Sasha M.

This one star is only because there is no option of putting a zero. My family has been extra liberal and patient in giving this place a third shot inspite of having had bad experiences both times earlier. Firstly the service is cold . Then the food is below average in terms of quality and taste. Tandoori rotis ordered for dinner were look alike rubber circles.paneer taka tak was probably the chefs worst work. The lunch buffet has no big variety. I vouch never to enter that place.

Nice food but don't go there if you are hungry already because the service is waaaaaaaayyyyyy tooooooo sloooooooowwwwww...

The idea of Indian style Pizza sounded great and we checked out this place and were not let down at all. We ordered Butter Chicken Pizza and Chilly Paneer Pizza in our first visit and both were simply delicious! Also recommended Pav Bhaji Pizza. Don't forget to ask for complementary Raita if ordering a takeout.

Great channa bhatura! The weekend buffet is good as they offer channa bhatura n good dessert. The weekdays buffets are just about ok. It's just $9.95 but no lamb or goat! So keep that in mind mutton lovers. Indian style pizza are a novelty and they make it quite good. Ambience is so-so. Parking spots are ample at all times.

I had hopeful expectations of this place. It's been on my list for awhile since it's close-ish to my work. Decided to try it out with an Indian friend of mine. It's a decent size space, so there was no waiting during the peak of lunch hours. Plenty of food too that was replenished promptly. The $10 lunch buffet consists of 8-10 different dishes - I saw about 3 different chicken dishes and the rest was vegetarian. There were 2 different pizza options (with an Indian twist) and a salad/fruit/desert bar. They also have all you can drink chai and mango lassi, a nice plus. Service was very good and pleasant. They start you off with a choice of roti or naan. Why 2 stars? We both agreed that it's the taste of the food - while it's not inedible, it was lacking in flavor and yumminess. Around this area, there are plenty of other Indian restaurants that I rather go to.

The ambiance leaves something to be desired...but that is not why we came so no big deal. Took awhile to place our order but the waiters was very nice. Cricket on tv...tried to learn but couldn't. We got the roasted garlic chicken and it was very good. Definitely something different than your ordinary pizza. Give this place a try!!!

I stumbled upon this place while writing reviews on yelp. It had an order online option directly connected to yelp so I decided to give that a try. They do have a delivery option however, you need to spend $50 or more and it is a $5.00 charge. We just did pickup but we were still able to place our order via the internet. I really liked having this option. It allowed me to cross reference the menu items with the pictures on yelp and I didn't feel rushed. I have never had this type of pizza before but love eating food. Thank goodness... I was able to order Indian food which is what I wanted and pizza which my bf wanted all at once. We got the 2 orders of garlic naan and 1/2 butter chicken & 1/2 tandoori chicken, it was DELICIOUS! It was also very reasonably priced ($26). I bet if we had eaten it there, it would have tasted even better! We want to try their HAPPY HOUR next! :) I'm sure this will be added to our favorites list :)

Wow! Really yummy!!!!! We ordered a large pizza, half butter chicken and half tandoori chicken tikka. It was so good! Not spicy (I can't handle spice) but amazing flavor. Very filling too! $20 You take the first bite and for a moment everything in the world just seems right. Then as you chomp your way towards the crust and you think it can't get any better, you hit the crust. OH MY GOSH THE CRUST. I don't know how they do it, or what spices they use in their dough but it is freaking amazing. The flavor is so great, and It's not chewy or crunchy, it's perfect. You start eating the next piece and are reminded how tasty the chicken with the sauce and the raita on top is, then you reach THE CRUST again and it's like you forgot how freaking amazing it was and it blows your mind again. A true dining experience! We took it to go and ate at home but the place seemed very clean and nice. Not amazing ambiance or a super hip place, but not bad either! I would have given them 5 stars but I reserve those for places with amazing food and super awesome dining environment. We will be back for sure! Looking forward to trying the lunch buffet! Make sure to ask for raita to put on top of pizza, they will give you a little to go container. Pronounced (r-eye-tah) Go check this place out already!!!!

Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine is a very unusual restaurant in a very out of the way location. Even with a GPS and a spotter sitting next to me I had a Hell of a time finding it. Please allow me to give you detailed directions on how to find this delightful restaurant. Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine is located near the Intel Hawthorn Farm campus. Turn off Cornell Road on to Elam Young Parkway. Go South on Elam Young and then turn right on to NE Belknap Court. Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine is located in a strip mall to the left of Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club. What Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine has done with this strip mall location is truly remarkable. The interior is clean, comfortable, and elegant. The service is friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. The menu offers a superb selection of Indian specialties. Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine also offers a separate pizza menu. What the truck? An Indian restaurant offering pizzas? Well, why not? Indian chefs are masters at making flatbread and as I was soon to find out that Indian creamy sauces work so well on a pizza. On our visit we ordered the Butter Chicken Pizza. It was without a doubt the most savory pizza I have ever had. The crust was crisp and oh so delicious. Like a damn pig I ordered Samosa appetizers with our pizza. However, I'm so glad I did. Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine served up the best Samosas we have ever tasted. They serve up a complimentary appetizer with your meal. Don't know what you call it but it's like a big cracker served up with a mint sauce and a tamarind sauce. Absolutely delicious! If you're tired of pepperoni pizza then have I got a place for you! Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine is a place where India and Italy become wonderful bedfellows. Crust & Curry Indian Cuisine is one of the Portland area's best places for a pizza!

This place is close to our home and we've become regulars. We generally call in take out so it's ready for us once we get there. The servers are always friendly and they have a riddle of the day to keep you busy if you have to wait a bit. We usually get chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala and they are delicious! The portions aren't huge but enough for one meal if you're really hungry or two standard meals. They also let you choose between rice or naan with your meal! I've been once for their lunch buffet and it's has a great selection of favorite dishes and others to try as well as one of their veggie pizzas and a meat one.

The food is worth it, but the delivery app isn't super reliable. Unfortunately the first time we used it the food was over an hour late. This is because the driver got lost at the other two delivery locations, which was unfortunate. It would have been great if this had been communicated at the time of the confirmed delivery date. But the food is delicious. You want the pizzas. You want the Naan. You want the lamb and the chicken. You want it all. It's delicious. The restaurant management is professional and friendly. Go pick it up yourself if you're hungry! Lesson learned.

First time here, will not be returning. The food is awful. I ordered the papdi chaat and the chef's vegetarian plate to go. The papdi chaat was a joke - no papdi! Instead some cheez it style crunchies that left such an awful after taste in my mouth (i.e. likely fried in some dreadful oil). After 3 spoons of this mess, I was done. The vegetarian plate was not much better. Two curries swimming in overly creamy sauces - a palak paneer and the other was some kind of vegetable tikka masala like thing. The daal was the only saving grace in this plate. I asked for a 3rd curry instead of naan, no dice. They were willing to accomodate a roti instead of naan sub, however. Well turns out my take-out bag has neither naan nor roti - no biggie since after this debacle, I wasnt exactly wanting anything more. Never again. I'll stick with Mumtaz Curry for my Indian fix, thank you very much.

This place is still pretty good but honestly for dinner they seem to do way more take out than anything else. What does this mean if you dine in? Well the place could be almost empty but you might wait 40 minutes for dinner because like 20 people phoned in orders ahead of you. Yikes. Longest meal ever. I will only get this stuff to go, not worth the wait.

Been here many times and have always enjoyed everything about this place. It's a treat to have such an authentic Indian fare restaurant in Hillsboro. Plus they aren't afraid to think outside the box with their delicious pizza! The owners are have treated us like family and really are hands on in the restaurant to ensure a great dining experience.

Very different pizza. Really good. Had the butter chicken Pizza. I love different and this really was. Went on a Tuesday night. Quick service and fair price. Would have liked to see a little more chicken though.

When we arrived we were greeted by a cheerful woman who made us feel right at home. It was just what we needed after a very long, tiring day. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit and there is a back room (we sat in the front). The food is awesome! When you think about it, Indian food always has spectacular bread so it's actually kind of a logical evolution. My favorite thing was that the veggies were crisp (like a good stirfry) not mushy and they were diced small enough that every bite had a lot of variety. Before the meal we were served papadam with two sauces. The mint was delicious but spicier than I'm used to being. I loved it! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Garlic Chicken Pizzas. Even with three teenage boys sharing the meal (five of us total) we had 3/4 of a pizza to take home for lunch tomorrow. The flavor was spectacular and it all flowed together beautifully. Can't wait to go back.

  • L K.

Really good! Had the chicken korma, shrimp pakora and Indian tea. I saw some of their pizzas coming out of the kitchen to other tables and they looked really delicious! Can't wait to try their pizza next time!

Quality has gone downhill as of late, the food was undercooked and cleanliness of the place is questionable.

My cravings for both pizza and Indian food run deep. So naturally when I heard there was a place that combined the two, it was immediately bumped up top on my must try list. The waiter/owner? was really friendly and gave us waters while we browsed the menu for our to-go order. We ended up getting papadi chaat and two pizzas. One butter chicken pizza and one paneer makhani. I didn't realize they were the same sauce at the time, but it's OK because it was delicious sauce. The crust had herbs and spices rolled right in and the flavorful sauce was a great pairing. It was having the curry already prepared on my naan! The papadi chaat was pretty big. The fried discs were layer with red onion, cilantro, potatoes, chickpeas, yogurt, and chutneys (tamarind/mint). It was refreshing and a good palate cleanser between slices even though it's usually eaten more as a snack. The guy working there told us that their buffet changed daily and usually featured one pizza and several breads along with different curries. If the pizza is any indicator, I'm excited to go back and try the buffet! Their Happy Hour prices may also persuade us to stop in soon too (~$3-4 bucks off each dish/pizza)!

If I had to pick a default flavor for my mouth to have 24/7 it would be the taste of Curry and Crust's butter chicken pizza. This is one of the most delicious foods I've ever had in my entire life. It's pricey, very pricey for us poor young adults with bad jobs, but it was worth every penny and I want to go bankrupt shoving this pizza into my mouth, forever. My friends ordered a lamb curry and had nothing but good words but struggled with the overwhelming alleged spiciness of the curry. I didn't have any bc that would leave less room for pizza. Can't have that.

Good food. But not great. May be ordered wrong item. Ordered Vegetairan platter. Lot of food. But not good variety. Naan, Palak Paneer, faith a was good. Dal was OK. Sweet, while different not that good. Would like to see smaller quantities but better or more variety.

Chicken. Tika. Masala. Pizza. Enough said! I didn't try the traditional dinners, so I can't speak to them. But the pizza was a ton of fun, well made, good crust, quality ingredients, and severed by a lovely young gal who was enthusiastic, proud of their fresh ingredients and very friendly.

  • Jessica M.

Yum yum! The combination of warm and creamy curry and the fact that they deliver, has made Curry and Crust my new favorite take out place! The service is fast most of the time but if they are running at all behind, they let you know the moment you mention delivery. Another bonus is they allow you to pick your spice level. This is great for me because I like to change it up. Honestly, I still have not tried the pizza yet but I hear amazing things and swear, I will get on it.

Had a Groupon for this place ($25 for two drinks, 1 app, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert!) but I was really hoping it would be worth it for the hour drive into Hillsboro. We got there on a hot day and a very friendly waitress greeted us and sat us down. She stayed and chitchatted with us for awhile getting us water and mango lassis. Then two very large groups came in so we didn't see our waitress much after that. The food was delicious. Slightly spicier than what we were expecting when we asked for as mild as possible and comparing it to other locations but still yummy. Wait time was pretty long for dessert/getting bill but we figured with the large parties (among other guests) and only 2 waitresses, it was understandable. The garlic naan was amazing. Especially since it was a vampire's worst nightmare. Yum yum. On top of the $25 Groupon, we also paid $4 for a second bowl of rice, $4 for a dessert (we only wanted 1 but there was a miscommunication and we received 2), and $3 for the garlic naan. Plus tip. $43 total for 2 people. It was yummy but I'll save this place for a rare treat due to the price.

Quality has decreased since first review. The curries all seem watery. No fresh fruit at the buffet, and few fresh veg. Plus a six dollar charge for a two year old. With as many options for Indian in Hillsboro I'll be going someplace else next.

Went on this thursday, and being the eighth day of Navratri (Indian holy 9 day period) and the day when in Indian some traditional dishes like Channa, halwa and puri are made. To my surprise, there was a special menu being served for lunch and ofcourse they had Halwa, puri and black channa, authentically Indian in taste. Ofcourse the usual Indian style pizza, paneer curry, saag-chhole and other appetising menu items were all there too!

  • Patti F.

I came here for a work lunch based on a recommendation from my coworker. I've since returned and both times have had a GREAT buffet lunch! Luckily they also change around items, so you don't get the same lunch buffet every day. There are plentiful vegetarian items, and if you don't like Naan you can order something different - all of which is made FRESH when you get there. I didn't try the pizza, though it looked tasty. They also include chai - at the end of the buffet line. Definitely will be returning again, it's nice to have another good Indian restaurant in Hillsboro.

Decent Indian cuisine in the HB (Hillsboro)! I had heard about the place from my co-workers who happened to be traveling near the area. I think this place is here to stay since it's located across the street from one of Intel's campuses and there aren't much dining areas available other than Costco and McDeez! Located near the MAX light rail, across the street from Intel, and within the same strip mall as the Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club, is Curry & Crust. Curry & Crust recently opened up on December 2012. The decor and ambiance of the place seems very mom-and-pop. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I came one evening to order a dish to-go for dinner. [devour] NAAN ($2) for a large piece of heavenly carbs to dip within your saucy entree! yelp.com/biz_photos/curr… CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA ($12) was decently yummy. The chicken was cooked well and it was swimming in the intoxicating tikka masala sauce! When I was driving home, the aroma seeped through the plastic containers and aroused my sensory nerves! Once I got home, I fixed myself a plate of the combo meal (comes with basmati rice) and devoured. My only gripe was that the sauce was not thick enough as other tikka masalas I've had in the past. Other than that, the flavors were spot on and I wouldn't mind consuming this dish again. yelp.com/biz_photos/curr… Basmati rice - (comes with combo meal) was somewhat different than what I've had compared to other Indian cuisines, but in a good way. The rice wasn't greasy or oily, but sorta lacked a bit of color and spices. But it wasn't a deal breaker. yelp.com/biz_photos/curr… FYI = *HH daily 3-6 PM *Daily buffet lunch (even on weekends!) *Can order food to-go *Accepts CC (Visa/MC) *Ample parking lot I do plan on coming back to Curry & Crust during their buffet lunch hours. That way I get to sample a bunch of the other items on their menu! I see potential for this little shop and glad it's not even a mile away from my home! Yelp 2013 100 for 100 Challenge - Review #46

Amazing food....and a great quick lunch spot. Either way in or grab a to - go plate from their buffet for only $6.95...including hot to order Naan. The best Indian place around and the owner is amazing! They also make an amazing curry pizza that will make you come back for more.

Oh heck yes. This place is every bit as good as Chennai Masala or Swagath, and offers several key advantages over either competitor: 1.) Lamb Saaaaaaaaaag----as nasty spicy as you want it (I love it nas-tay) 2.) Butta Schicken-- Have yet to see this staple anywhere else in the H-boro, other than Curry 'n' Crust. Not only do they 'deliver the goods' on each of these personal favorites listed above.... 3.) ...They DELIVER THE GOODs, right to your door! Point. Set. Match. No contest. C&C by a Mumbai mile...

I am happy that there is an Indian Pizza place. Went to their happy hour and the prices were quite good. Tried their Tandoori Chicken Tikka Pizza: Very good.... tried this dish multiple times: not just me, even my friends like it. Chili panneer veggie pizza: Decent. Butter Chicken pizza: The chicken was very well grilled, better than the chili panneer... however tandoori chicken tikka was the best. Samosa Chat: Decent. Chicken Manchuria: Not so great. Chili Chicken: Not so great. Deserts: Mango Kulfi: Really good (but very sweet) Mango Lassi: Really good. Mango Milkshake: Just okay. Rasmalai: pretty good. On another visit, I got their Tandoori Dinner thali... the tandoori chicken was pretty darn good. Lamb boti wasn't good... the meat curry was lamb curry, which was awesome, dal was bland. Overall good quantity for the price and would be sufficient to 2 not-so-hungry people. Worth ordering. If you were to get a large pizza, you can get half of it with one flavor and other with another flavor... pretty good deal. Would frequent them

We love the food here and visit frequently. We love the Indian pizza...we ordered one butter chicken pizza and one tandoori chicken pizza...both were awesome. While bringing it to our table one slice from the tandoori chicken pizza fell off and so they compensated with a whole roasted garlic paneer pizza free of cost. We love the Sunday lunch buffet a lot. Mango lassi, masala tea are complimentary in the buffet menu.

They deliver, for free, which is awesome. We've had the Butter Chicken Pizza, which is pretty odd tasting. It doesn't quite hit the mark for Butter Chicken flavor for me on the toppings. They were a bit weird, but not bad. Where they really hit the mark is the crust - it's really tasty and crispy, even perhaps zesty, if I might coin a phrase. The Shahi Paneer was cheesy tasting, but very mild. Definitely will be ordering delivery from them again when we want something different and easy.

So, we've been in town a couple of months, and the search for an amazing Indian buffet started immediately. So glad we found this place, it beats out the other half dozen joints we have tested so far. Really great lunch buffet spread, quite diverse, and they include some of their signature Indian pizza amalgamations. I didn't find the pizza particularly great but everything else was super good. Although I wish the naan was hot out of the oven instead of dry and slightly reheated. Curries of the chicken and veggie varieties are great, and I also found the dessert some of the best in its category. Also, mango lassi included in the buffet price? Who does that?! Nobody else! Check this place out if you are in the area, you literally can't be disappointed.

Awesome food. Really friendly staff. I was once given free tea when i had to wait for my order :) Paneer Pizza is really good and Dahi papdi chat is super yummy. I can go there every day..

First visit was a huge success. The Butter Chick Pizza is unconventional as the previous reviewer mentioned, but surprisingly rich and complex for a relatively mild dish. I was impressed that the pizza wasn't just random Indian ingredients slapped on dough, but rather it was legitimately a pizza first, with great attention to the composition and balance of ingredients. Sampled the Lamb Saag and it was outstanding -- spicier than any I'd tried before, but not overwhelming. I've tried just about every Indian restaurant in Washington County and this one ranks near the top.

Can-Am Indian pizza is best. I don't like the pizza here. Other food is ok. Price is moderate. I may visit 3 months once

Firstly, this is one of the most freakishly clean restaurants I can remember being in. Typically even the cleanest of places has some high dust somewhere- the top of a light fixture, on an exit sign, the moulding along a wall.. Some dust, somewhere. There wasn't so much as a speck of dust anywhere in this place. The food was absolutely amazing. My wife and I shared a palak paneer pizza- whoever thought of putting some of the classic Indian dishes on pizza dough and baking it deserves some sort of an award. In addition to this fantastic pizza we shared an order of "paneer Taka Tak", which I suspect was an in-house creation and was a real winner in my opinion. Both my wife and I look forward to returning to this unique and wonderful restaurant.

The place is amazing! It's worth your time to travel here if your not around hillsboro. Never disappointed service is friendly and great atmosphere! Food? Well it's truly incredible but you'll have to try it for yourself! Do it!

best tandori chickens I've ever had. Pizzas (I *think* they're butter chicken and palak paneer but I am not sure) were super as well.

The buffet wasn't good at all. Pizza was mediocre. Yes they do have great service but the texture of the food was really bad. It did not meet the standards of good Indian food.

The flavors in this restaurant are AMAZING! After we came here the first time after they'd first opened I thought the flavor was so bright because the restaurant was new and the spice inventory was fresh. However, it is the same every time! I love Indian food and eat it wherever I can and this is definitely on the top tier of my culinary experience.

I was in the mood to try something different, and this definitely hit the spot. I love pizza and I love Indian food, and they somehow made the combination of the two work wonderfully together here. We got a half chicken tikka masala and half palak paneer pizza, and it was sooo good! Service was great, and the lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. It was so good that I skipped eating out the next day just so that I could eat the leftovers, which were still pretty good the next day. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

We picked up the Living Social deal based on a recommendation from one of my Indian coworkers. I can't stop thinking about the food and great service. Oh my God the food was good. I'm kicking myself for forgetting the leftovers which I was going to have for lunch today. We had a paneer pizza and another delicious dish that I cannot remember the name of. It was a great value and the food was so good. I mean how often do you get two of your favorite things in one dish? Indian food + pizza = heaven. I wonder if I can make it there for their buffet today. I'll happily shell out $10 for lunch. So good.

These people are so nice. I left in such a good mood because of the exquisite service and delicious food. My very favorite thing that we ordered was the spinach paneer saag. We've also had the chicken tandoori pizza which was amazing and have had their lunch buffet which is of very quality standards.

We went for the buffet. I want to mention that owners were super friendly and the place was squeaky clean. I also wanted to add that unlike most Indian restaurants, once you step in you don't smell like an Indian kitchen when you step out :). The food was good, and the Indian pizza (we tried only one available for the buffet) worked well.

  • Anita C.

The pizza was dry. We ordered the butter chicken pizza and tandoori chicken pizza. Not only was it stale but the crust was coated in oil. Also, ordered the eggplant curry and it had a horrible flavor. I could only eat a couple of bites and then had to throw it away. We left with a bad stomach ache. Definitely won't be returning.

Ambience: Nothing fancy but bright,Roomy and clean. - 3.5 stars Service- friendly and relatively quick( we went during the 3 to 6 pm happy hour though with no other customers around) - 4 stars Menu- highlights are the Indian flavored pizza dishes - we tried the paneer tikka masala 10 inch pizza and it was yummy ( just 7 bucks during happy hour; medium spicy with jalapenos; the spicy version has green chillies). They also have a few chaat items /chai and the regular North Indian fare but have'nt tried that yet Overall 4 stars just for the unique pizza varieties!. Will go back to try the lunch buffet -have heard good things about it

We were here this last weekend. We ordered pizza and Indo-Chinese. We ordered: Paneer Makhani pizza, Tandoori Chicken Tika Masala pizza, and Chicken chill. Very disappointed. We went there with great expectations for Indian pizza. But it turned out to be otherwise. The pizza's were so soggy, that all the toppings slipped as soon as I picked the slice to eat. It was as if curry was poured on the pie. The chicken chilli was terrible. Never in my life (I have tasted some awesome Chinese food in Mumbai), have I eaten chicken chill with cumin seeds (jeera). This was a joke on Indo-Chinese food!!! The only positive thing was that the Service was great!!! Nothing else to say, I won't be back here unless there are major changes in the recipes.

Came in with a groupon. Excellent service, waitress made suggestions and food came out at the right time. Food was delicious and hit the spot. Prices are very reasonable, especially during their happy hour. Will be picking up their pizzas and entrées as carry out now that I've discovered them!

Good service..unique Indian Italian fusion menu. Have visited this place various times..and the food tastes good. The only caveat..it never tastes the same! The first time we ordered pav bhaji pizza..it had chunks of ginger and garlic..next time it was good and third time it tasted different. The coffee we ordered was plain milk...with lots of sugar The kulfi was served out of a frozen "ready to eat" pack. If they get the consistency in taste..it will be an instant hit in the area :)

Second time having Indian food and I was in love. The first time was at another local place and i didn't think it would be worth it to go back there. We went to crust and curry for their weekend buffet special and it was great. All the food was fresh and plenty to pick from. I like that they have hot chai readily available at no extra charge, its a nice touch!

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars... The papdi chaat was awesome, with small crispy squares instead of the traditional round flat cracker things. The chilli pakora was quite bland, and not spicy. The pink chutney was strange, and the green chutney was not really that spicy (I'm not picky either, i swear). I had high hopes for the spicy veg pizza but it lacked sauce and was basically a veggie pizza sprinkled with chaat masala. The buffet looked delish, I wish I had tried that instead! Also, its kinda awkward when the boss lady is loudly berating the staff in front of the customers... I feel bad writing this review, I wanted to love this place SO badly. I'll finish by saying I probably will try this again in the FAR future once they get into their groove.

I don't even know where to start with this place. The food is awesome. All of your Indian favorites in one place. And to top it off they have Indian pizza, which is rare for the area. The staff is super friendly and the owner/chef is always poking her head out of the kitchen to take special requests. They also deliver which is a huge plus. We've ordered from then several times at work and its always a crowd pleaser. I can't get enough of this place.

Went here for the first time after purchasing a living social deal. I'm Indian so I eat Indian food all the time and I have to say I was impressed. I love the combo of Indian food on a Pizza. The paneer tika masala pizza was really good. They have a lunch buffet, $9.99 for pretty much everything. A large veg selection for the vegetarians. They have the best halwa I've had in a long time. The chole bhature was amazing. They bring it out fresh and hot with naan and it was soft and so delicious with the channa masala. It's kid friendly for my 4 and 1 year old. Although they do need more high chairs because both were in use when we got there. Staff was welcoming and friendly. No complains, family from out of town loved it, will definitely be back again!

AH-mazing Paneer Makhni. !!!! Must try! We tried the Pav Bhaji pizza and it was pretty good. The paneer makhani with naan was absolutely divine. Good service, decent ambiance and fair prices - this place has a lot going for it! Will definitely go back.

Oh man! There are so many good Indian lunch buffets around but this is my favorite. The pizza surprised me, I can't stop craving it! Their paneer is the best I've had outside of India, apparently it's house made? The food isn't super spicy, but the meat is good quality unlike most other Indian buffet meat selections, and the lamb was devoid of bones! That won me over. I'm so used to digging through a dish full of saucy bones to find a few little pieces of meat, but not here! And they had chai and mango lassi with the buffet!! Mmmmm! I want to go back for happy hour $7 pizzas today!

The people here are so nice! I'm glad to see how popular this restaurant is getting. The food is always delicious, I have been both for dinner and for the $10 lunch buffet. The only problem is that I always overeat here because I like it so much, especially the spinach-paneer dish and the great bread.

This restaurant never disappoints. The waitress that I always have is very, very courteous and delivers excellent service. Last night when my boyfriend and I went, we got the vegetarian dinner and the paneer garlic pizza. There is something truly amazing about this Indian pizza. It might be the spices or the perfectly crisp paneer - in any case, the pizza is amazing and deliciously paired with their in house raita. Definitely the best raita I've ever had as well. This tucked away restaurant is delicious and surprising every time.

Amazing. We have tried almost every Indian restaurant in the Portland and surrounding areas, and this is by far the best. Everything has such amazing flavor, and is incredibly fresh! Our favorite restaurant, by far!

  • Sara O.

We just went to Curry & Crust for their lunch buffet, and it was excellent. We went out of curiosity -- how would a pizza with Indian flavorings taste? We left with a new local restaurant to satisfy our Indian food cravings. All the foods and flavorings were really wonderful. We had our favorites (naan, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, etc.) One of my favs always is the Chicken Makhni, and this one was outstanding. We also found some new favorites -- the bhatura was hot and puffy and extremely flavorful; the chili chicken was a great slightly spicy taste. The pizza? Quite good -- but I like Indian breads so well that I doubt I'd opt for the pizza very often.

Tried this place for the first time. We loved the Kadhi and shahi paneer and the roti. We will be coming back. I want to try their buffet and their pizzas next time!

Trying to find this place maybe a little challenging, but it is worth the effort. I checked out the buffet which I will admit is a little pricy at $9.99. They had a lot of choices including a lamb curry dish, several vegetarian ones, and a butter chicken among other entrees and 2 pizza choices. I think the value is in the buffet and wouldn't order only a pizza. Everything was pretty good and not extremely spicy. The Naan was really good and was brought right out from the oven. I will probably try it again sometime. I should add the service was also good.

Oh, the common people are easy to please. I'm a desi girl that knows desi khanna. This place is a pretty much sad. That's not to say the servers aren't undeniably friendly, kind & patient but it is not the epicenter of food fusion. It's exactly what you should expect from a suburban strip mall. Mediocrity in a clean package with parking so close! The lassi was too sweet & tasted like frothy milk, unlike tangy yogurt. The chaat dishes were just okay. If you're gonna consume those kinda calories, these things should melt in your mouth. Okay, now on to the pizza. It was mediocre at best. I can make better pizza at home people & I've never made pizza before. Think glopped on Round Table ingredients with paneer on top. The inside of our pizza was doughy & undercooked. I think paneer on top of mozzarella is dairy overkill. Ours was quite juicy from being undercooked. I really appreciated the hints of fennel in the crust & the cumun in the raita. If there were more hints of actual strong desi ingredients in the pizza, this place would have me as a repeat customer.

Friendly service, and one of the better Indian lunch buffets in the suburban west side.

I admit, I've only had Indian food maybe 4 or 5 times in my life....but this is probably the best so far. Staff is warm and helpful and very on top of things. We ordered family style (no buffet available the day we were there). Chicken Masala, veggie & potato pokora, paneer mattar, basmati rice, pizza with veggies and paneer, naan, pappadums, chai - all of it was amazing. Two thumbs up! The pizza crust is not naan, but looks like "normal" pizza crust and is slightly sweet which is offset by the saltiness (but not too salty) of the cheese. I was stunned that "Indian pizza" was so good. Defiantly give this play a try, you will enjoy it.

Since finding this restaurant I have been back twice a week. A wonderful sampling of many different Indian dishes along with pizzas that I did not expect on their buffet. Truly gracious service and great food keeps me going back. I love this place!

This place opened a few months back. The Indian flavors on pizza sounded exotic so we went in to try. We didn't try the pizza but tried the ala carte and the buffet. Both the times were disappointments. The food doesn't taste so good and the buffet quality isn't too good too. We will not go back there. Update 8/5/2013: We ended up trying their Indian flavored pizzas and we did like them. The ala carte menu has improved since the last time we went but still lacks the charm for me. However, the Indian curry flavors on the pizza add a nice variety. We do like to eat pizzas there.

Absolutely delicious. Kinda strange atmosphere, probably better as a lunch place than for dinner. Nice menu, good food, nice variety and awesome chai! It's $2 per small teacup, though, and no refills, which we found out after downing most of the cup on the first few minutes. Know better now...

This place is amazing! We walked here from our house when the snow was pretty heavy, and they had amazing food. We got the vegetarian dinner which is a lot of food for your money, and the Naan is prepared really good too. My husband liked the Indian beer, and I loved the chai. We will definitely be back to check out the lunch buffett and the Indian Pizza!

This place is really good. From the food to the friendly, smiling service. You can get outstanding traditional Indian food with imported Indian beer, or go for the Indian inspired pizza. We usually get our food to go because they are so quick, but the ambience in the restaurant is nice and welcoming

Amazing Pizza! The Mr. says that this is the best Indian that he has had so far in the Portland metro (Hillsboro) area. The Mrs. gives it a 4.5 star. This little place is hidden away in a business park not far from Yahoo and Intel hawthorne park. It also across the parking lot from hawthorne park health and fitness center. So we had been meaning to check this place out fro a long time. We saw that they had a groupon out so I figured this would be a great opportunity to coax the Mr. into driving out to intel-landia. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The chat was excellent. It has been a long time since I had chat so that was a nice treat. Good mango lassi. Memorable and most excellent Desi Pizza. We had never had Desi pizza before and it is now a new favorite. The best palak panner we ever had and it comes as a pizza. Wowee! We finished out the meal with a sweet serving of rice pudding. YUM! After the meal we chatted up the owner? lady and she invited us to return to her business and try her buffet. We came back for lunch on a Sunday and the place was packed! Few people of the caucasian persuasion is an excellent sign that the cuisine is authentic and prepared in an excellent manner. They were so packed that as soon as they put the two small pizzas on the buffet they were gone in a flash. All the buffet food was excellent and fresh and loved that the Lassi and Chai was included in the buffet. The only things that could be rethought is to keep tabs on the amount of salt or salt seasoning in cuisine. Some of the dishes on the buffet were a bit on the salty side. A wider and more abundant selection of their famous pizza on buffet. Maybe designate one night a week and or Sunday night for famous Desi pizza buffet? Cream of wheat dessert recipe on buffet needs to be experimented with a bit to get the right flavors to come out. We couldn't finish it and skipped over to the rice pudding as as replacement. A most excellent restaurant. We will return. Hopefully they are planning a second location in the 97223 area code. We could use em in our area. *hint

Tucked away in a Hillsboro office complex is this really wonderful place that serves Indian food that is very tasty, and yet, doesn't burn a hole in your wallet. Oh, and they also serve pretty good Indian pizza. Bonus! We had the buffet on a weekend, and on the recommendation of a friend, we tried the roti, which they freshly prepare and serve at each table. That roti is among he best I've had at a restaurant- light, fluffy, wholesome. The buffet items were also well prepared, which is a deviation from the norm of crappy buffet dishes. I also had an Indian pizza on a different occasion, and loved it. The quantity, although 'small' has the size of a medium, which is a plus if you're sharing. I recommend this place for homely, tasty food with warm, friendly service, that doesn't cost you a whole lot of money.
