Every year for four years third week in June we have stayed at this hotel and no regrets. Around $70 for two queen beds, two adults two children. Refrigerator and a microwave in the room, a working air conditioner that actually cools the room. Free Wi-Fi, plenty of towels, the normal soaps and shampoos available in the room for free. This year we forgot toothpaste and they had it at the front desk for free. they even offered free toothbrush, q-tips or other items if we needed them. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature also had a very nice lounge chair around the pool . We never ran out of hot water in the shower, for a family of four. There are a lot of channels on the TV to watch, we did not use it though. The carpet in the room was clean, the beds were clean and lots of pillows. The sheets did not feel like sandpaper, they were comfortable. The fan in the bathroom worked very well to get rid of the steam from the shower. The mattress on the queen size bed was comfortable, not really that bad...plenty of electrical outlets to charge the laptop and iPad, Bluetooth headphones, and three cell phones. There is a clean room, great breakfast and a convenient location for a very affordable price, we will stay here again. There is a large choice of menu items for the free breakfast, I ordered the bacon eggs hashbrowns and toast breakfast. Two eggs scrambled two pieces of bacon two pieces of toast and lots of hashbrowns. The bacon is a thick cut bacon, not a flimsy piece of meat. The front desk staff at the hotel are super friendly and very nice people. In the past we have had 9 PM check-in and it was not a problem or late checkout, after 2 PM. I would definitely come back.

We had a table of 8 and no complaints.

Not even sure I have the right words for this experience yet. We stopped in after the Duck game for dinner. We know from experience that it's incredibly slow and is always understaffed/surprised that there's a game crowd. Because of that, we decided to time how long it took to get our food after ordering. After about 20 min of waiting, we asked our server if it was about up, to which he responded, "I can't answer that- they're slammed." You should note 1/2 of the restaurant was closed. There were at the most 10 tables to be served. Anyway, I thought a "oh, I'll check on that," would've been a better response. 39 minutes after ordering, our food arrives. It wasn't a complex order-- two omelets, chicken strips, and a sausage breakfast burrito. Nothing crazy, right? Anyway, we are starving at this point. I cut into my sausage burrito and find it's actually a egg/onion burrito. I assume the onion was accidental and there must be sausage a bit farther in. Nope. None. When I finally waved our server down to tell him, he said "oh sorry, do you want something else?" As if after waiting 40 minutes we'd order anything else. I told him we didn't want to pay for a sausage burrito when there was no sausage. He said he would take care of it and took a whole $1 off the bill. Thanks, bud. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Everything is laughably bad. Unless you have a ton of time to kill and want bad food, avoid the villa. It's a dump... And that's putting it nicely.

Not very good food. Anything fried or grilled tastes like the oil is old. I always have to order hash browns, toast, bacon etc. to be cooked lightly or they are burned. They removed the baked potato from the Senior menu and the mashed potatoes are rehydrated (ugh)! The "cheese" on the hamburgers is processed cheese food, which is ok for McDonalds but at these prices I expect "real" food!! Salad is limp bagged salad. It's just cheap, processed, not fresh, and the prices are too high for this kind of food. I only eat there if there isn't anything else open and I want American.

STAY AGAIN: Old fashioned motel, single story, park next to the door to your room, $75 for two queen beds for 3 adults and 2 children, included 5 vouchers for individually cooked breakfasts (one egg, two thick pieces of bacon, hash browns, toast and juice was one option). Very nice. The place is a bit shabby, but decent. Could use sprucing up. Perfect for getting kids and luggage to room. HAVE AGAIN: Very good breakfast. Again, an old fashioned coffee shop, comfortable and pleasant.

Breathtaking is not a word Californians usually associate with a drive on I-5. After leaving Redding, where the countryside begins to turn woodsy and mountainous, the otherwise humdrum highway changes identities into a speedy but scenic route into and through Oregon. Thanks to some internet research buttressed by reviews on this, The Website, we selected the Travelodge at Pioneer Villa as the sleep stop before a Saturday morning commitment in Corvallis. More than just a truck stop, it really is sort of a villa comprising a motel, coffee-shop restaurant, cocktail lounge (saloon), electric-car charger, and gas station with a Blimpie sandwich shop built into the convenience mart. Between a wing of the ranch-style rooms and the interstate is a large field of grass where some walk their dogs, and others set up lawn chairs and relax as the sun sets on a warm summer evening. Motel guests get a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. During dinner there the night before, our server suggested bacon as the best breakfast choice--it's two thick slices with an egg, hashbrowns, toast and beverage, and it hits the spot. The villa's tall roadside tower signs are a bit of a landmark on this stretch of road. You might find better lodging, fuel prices, restaurants or scenery somewhere else along the interstate, but all in one place? Don't hold your breath.

Been stopping here every now and then for about 3 years, and I must say this truck stop has transformed so much in the past couple years. From hardly any parking to a whole lot now. Staff working inside is very friendly, something us truck drivers love to see. After a long day of driving and being treated like crap by car drivers, it feels nice to see somebody that appreciates the work we do. Every time I have stopped here the place has been well maintained and clean. Will continue to stop here!

We got a breakfast voucher for this restaurant at the hotel next door and decided to give it a try. Food was perfect and we had a great waiter. The other waitresses were all complaining about the crowd that came in, but our waiter kept smiling and taking care of us. That's why he got a $10 tip on a $2.50 check. Moral of the story: don't bitch, and you might get a great tip!

On Sunday morning January 19,2014 at 10:00 a.m. my partner and I went into the saloon part of the establishment to grab breakfast and was appalled by the older waitress/bartender who was attending. She was absolutely rude snappy and obviously annoyed with her job. when asking a question about a menu item, she sighed rudely and acted as if i couldn't get hashbrowns with my order. we paid for our coffee and left her .17¢ for a tip. never ordered food. continued onto the Brownsville saloon to feel a great vibe and receive excellent service and food.

This is a regular stop for us from Northern California to Seattle and back (Great halfway stop). Not fancy but clean with comfortable beds and a surprisingly good coffee shop on the premises. We got a great deal on line with a coupon for free breakfasts at their coffee shop (Cooked breakfast no less!) and 15% off the price of the room with a 7 day on line pre-registration. Our room with tax was about 67.00 per night. Located close to I-5 but not too close so the traffic isn't noticeable. Oh! And they are dog friendly too. They charged us 10.00 per night for our two dogs. The staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints from us. We've stopped here for the last 8 years or so and always had an enjoyable stay.

I asked the attendant filling my tank where I could find the squeegee to clean my windshield and he said, "don't worry, I'll take care of it." So I headed inside to pay and, while I was distracted by the super friendly service and offer of a free soda or coffee before getting back on the road, the attendant washed my ENTIRE car. I've never experienced that when fueling. They just won my business for life!

There's just something about a fried egg at a truck stop.... One fried egg with sourdough toast was just what I needed at 10pm after a long drive from Seattle. My husband had strawberry rhubarb pie served with soft-serve vanilla ice cream. (I'm lucky that he's nice enough to share.) The waitresses were friendly, the atmosphere homey, and good coffee was served in the ubiquitous brown mug. The attached store and Travelodge front-desk sold all things country, Oregon and truck-related. After our late night snack, we settled into our room at the Travelodge. My only complaint is that the bed wasn't the greatest. But we paid $77, so I was ok with that. The room was not spectacular but it was clean and I felt safe. A small breakfast at the restaurant was included with the room. All-in-all, a good value. I would probably give the room 3.5 stars but the truck stop restaurant bumps it up to 4.

After our super long drive from TX through AZ, we stopped for the night at the Travelodge. We spend most of our trip staying in super cheap motels...and staying on family's couches. We found the place to be perfect for our needs. The beds were more comfortable than our own bed, and the people were very friendly. We even ate at the little restaurant and everything was fantastic. As far as hotels go...we don't normally spend that much...but it was certainly a step up!

The room was spacious and very clean, though the truck stop food was sub-standard. It was remarkably quiet, considering its proximity to I-5. A little overpriced, but I suppose that goes with the territory, being so convenient to the interstate. The beds were reasonably comfy and the service was good. Great place if you are traveling with a dog, because there is a large grassy field to walk or run with them behind the motel.
