Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I was introduced to his place earlier this year and have to say I like it. Each time I've been there they have been busy yet the staff has been pleasant and the food good and fresh.

Used to go here more often - recent visit was just ok. Overall, probably average taste and average pricing. Friendly staff and a good amount of seating, but nothing amazing.

Sunny's opened about 15 years ago and is still going strong, which is definitely unique in Downtown G-sham. I had a friend who worked there when we were in high school and by all accounts, the owner (Sunny) is a very nice man. I'm pretty sure the restaurant has won some local awards. It's definitely a Gresham staple. On the plus side, Sunny's has one of my favorite Curry chicken dishes anywhere (though it disappeared from the menu for a little over a year and I had to boycott for a while). They also have three different rices and Yakisoba noodles as side options. I used to be all about this place, but I slowly have shied away from most of the menu items. The most popular dish seems to the Honey Chicken Teryaki, which I now find to be too greasy. Also, the prices are a bit high for a chicken and rice, order at the counter joint. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and need a quick bite, but no longer list it among my favorites.

I really like this place...whenever I used to crave Panda Express, my girlfriend would ask me if I could grab us something from Sunny Han's instead. I caved, after having only been here once several years ago, and I'm glad I did. I eat here about 3-4 times a month...better than Panda, not as greasy, and they have more options as far as sides. The salad rolls are really good (get the peanut sauce). I usually get the one meat/one veggie combo with fried rice, which fills me up and gives me a little snack for later. The curry chicken is pretty good, as is the orange chicken and honey teriyake. As has been mentioned before, there is outdoor seating on a small patio to the side of the building. Service is usually pretty quick, as I've never been kept waiting when I come to pick up a to-go order, so that's a plus. All in all, really good food in historic downtown Gresham. Definitely worth checking out.

Staff have no personality, food is edible but not desirable. The teriyaki chicken tastes like ham and they use sauces very sparingly. Too bad... We were looking forward to a new place in the 'Sham.

The 1 or 2 options they do offer are very good. But there's nothin special about the atmosphere and menu options. Not enough variety.

As a firefighter for the city for over 23 years, we have found this a local staple for lunch and dinner! The food is ALWAYS good and served quick! What more can we say! If you are in Gresham check it out....If firefighters like it you will too!

Consistent, but far too expensive for American Chinese food. The employees are about as bland as their over swollen sticky rice, too. Take out.

Sunny Han's is a good place for lunch. There's always seating and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. There is outdoor seating...when it's sunny. The outdoor seating is concrete surrounding, but they have put plants and greenery that makes it very nice. The staff is fast and friendly. The food is good. If you're vegetarian, the selection is limited. Tofu and only three sauce choices, and the best one honey teriyaki is not a choice. There is only one size of soda, with refills, and the food is pretty abundant. Pre-vegetarian, I really like the honey teriyaki chicken with yakisoba noodles/no vegetables. Now, I don't go as often, but when I do, I get the Tofu with basil. Good for lunch cause it's quick, maybe for dinner, it you want it quick.
