Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Food was above average But, very Americanized. Staff was very friendly. Fish tank was fun to watch.

Made a to go order inside, they prepared our food surprisingly fast. Lunch specials were so cheap~ and tasted exceptionally good for the amount we paid. Red sauce that came with the crab puffs was delicious. Only down side of it was; we didn't like menu (it wasn't descriptive, didn't know what I was getting pretty much), and the waitress wasn't helpful either. Japanese style chow mein 5/10 Mongolian beef 6/10 Hot & sour soup 7/10

I've got to say that I'm so disappointed in this place, it used to be my #1 Chinese Food Restaurant but not any more... I've been going there since I moved out to the Gresham area, about 9 years ago and they've always been wonderful until about 2 years ago. It's been the same lady for all this time and she used to be sweet and friendly but not so much any more... The surprising part is that they used to be pretty busy with several people inside and tons of to-go traffic but now the place is a ghost town with no customers and only the cranky lady sitting in the corner... I first noticed that the food just didn't taste the same and then I started getting sick after eating there. I haven't eaten there in over a year because of it!! So the other day I was running errands and decided to give them another try - big mistake!!! It's 12:45 on a Wednesday, lunch time, and there's not a soul in the place and not one to-go order left while I was there. I order General Tso's Chicken with Hot and Sour Soup. What I got was luke warm soup that looked and tasted like snot (yes snot, that mucus stuff that pours out when you have a cold), it was not edible!! Neither was the General Tso's chicken... Please tell me what kind of meat is grey in color, stringy, dry, smells like dead rodent and I couldn't even begin to tell you what it tasted like!?! The sauce was good so I know it wasn't that and the broccoli was fresh and green but the nuggets of "chicken" were just plain gross!! I know this review is harsh but after telling her about how awful the food was, she just gave me a blank look and really didn't seem to care what I thought. I really don't recommend this place to anyone, it used to be soooo good but now it's just a health hazard!!!

Have come here for years, food is good and prices are average. Mostly don't have any issues but once in awhile will forget my beloved red sauce. lol The owner is very nice and always remembers me and until I changed up my order she would remember my regular order.

I was deeply saddened that my once beloved Ding Cheong has gone downhill over the years. Still same atmosphere, still same friendly staff. However, the menu and food has changed slightly. There is no more amazing Chinese Chicken Salad. I was heart broken over this one. Also, their once amazing General Tso's chicken has gone a tad downward as well. The overall flavor seemed off and tasted a bit like cinnamon of all things. Their food is still OK, but downgraded slightly from when I had frequented there years ago. Their prices are fair and their lunch deals are great. The combos are the way to go if you like the items they include. Their hot and sour soup is also a win!

I walked into this restaurant yesterday after running some errands. I thought it would be nice to have a cold beer and maybe some pot stickers. When the lady approached with my menu I asked what kind of beers they offered. I ordered a Bud Light and at that time she proceeded to tell me that I could not have a beer unless I ordered food. I questioned her statement and she told me it was "The Law" I giggled and told her it was NOT "The Law" and she walked away. I sat for another 10 minutes (keep in mind I was the only person in the place) for her to bring me my beverage. She shows up with a glass of water and asks me if I am ready to order. I said I was not and she walked away. I finally got up and approached her asking her why I did not get my beer? She again stated that it is "The Law" "I must order food!" LOL I then informed her....AGAIN...that it is NOT "The Law" I did recite "The Law" to her, which states that the restaurant must offer food to any patron consuming alcoholic beverages per OLCC 845-006-0460. She said "No! It Law!" I was a server in a fine dining restaurant for 10 years and also an OLCC card holder. Please do not come to this country and think you can change the rules. Please learn to read so you can understand "The Law" Please be advised this is not a friendly place and they obviously do not want your business.

Good chinese comfort food. Cute little setting. Make sure to order off the Chef special for authentic chinese food. I personal love the imperial porkchop, salt and pepper squid (The best i've had in gresham!) Shrimp with Honey glaze walnuts, and birds nest deluxe. The birds nest is made of taro fried and filled with the works! $5-5.50 lunch combos are a win.

It was one of the few places open on Christmas Day. I gave it a shot since I couldn't get my pizza with anchovies. We ordered deep-fried shrimp, pressed pork, fried rice, pork chow mein, an appetizer combo (crab puffs and spring rolls) to-go and got chicken chop sui instead of chow mein. It satisfied our ravenous hunger, but the food was standard Chinese fare, nothing more and nothing less. The staff was friendly. Service is extremely quick (10 minutes for our to-go orders). The restaurant is clean, spacious and decorated with bamboo and Chinese lanterns. Sadly I walked out not knowing which animal will represent the year 2007.
