First off, it is no longer on W 18th, but on W 11th, across from Fred Meyers. And thank god i found it! This place has the best damn mac salad anywhere on the planet. I never liked mac salad before, and no where has it as good after. Of course you have to drench in their sauce to really get the full effect, but omfg it's making my mouth water right now. The plates aren't anything fancy. Just wonderfully marinated pork, chicken or beef on a bed of rice with some veggies thrown in on some plates. But the joy is in the simplicity. Throw some chili sauce (not a lot!) and the other sauce on it and dive in. When I'm broke and drive by Hawaiian Time, I shed a tear for my loss.

I have always been obsessed with hawaiian time, I even worked there for a while, they have extremely clean areas and are always on top of everything! The food is sooo yummy I love it! My fave is the #6 its teriyaki chicken with a sweet hot glaze that's not too spicy but just gives it that zing! And as always you get a scoop of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad! I like to get the alli size so I have left overs!

Wow. How i'm the first person to review this place I'll never figure out. This place is the best for Local Style Plate lunches in Eugene. Many others have come and gone over the years, but this place is the best. While I was in college at UofO they used to be in the 24 hour fitness. The alii plate lunch was the best -- they used quality lean cuts of meat, and had HUGE portions as well. Awesome for grinds after a long day. I'm not sure if the menu/food is as good as it once was, but back in the day this place ROCKED.

Hawaiian time is my go to when I don't want to make dinner! My FAV is the Mac salad! Best I ever had. Sometimes they forget my seracha sauce, but it is all sooo yummy!

Fat kid heaven.. I love this place.. the sauces are a little on the 'plain' side... If you like spicy you MUST try adding the super spicy chili peppers.. It's a very rare thing for me to come across something hot enough... and well this is it! nom nom.. fat kids rejoice!

I love this place. The salted pork makes me so happy. But the service can really suck sometimes or they would have 5 stars. The chicken is great also! Parking is usually easy and the wait is never long for food. I personally don't like the mac salad, but my friends all rave about it. It's a good place if you want left overs for later. :)

Hawaiian Time is good food! It's portions are a bit small for the price, and they put WWWAAAAAYYYYYYY to much mayo in their macaroni salad but other then that they are REALLY GOOD! I usually meet my sister here and have a great time sitting around eating good food and catching up. The service is great to! Very friendly people working the register always with a smile and a cheery hello! :)

The one on west 11th is horrible. Everything tastes bland and there aren't many menu options.

Awesome food. Great service. If you have never tried it, you are missing out on some great food. Gets pretty crowded at lunch hour so go around that time if you can.

I just started eating at Hawaiian Time and I love it. I always get the number 6. The macaroni salad is a little heavy on the mayonnaise, but I still love it. The chicken is always tender and flavorful.
