I manage my son's soccer team (hungry 15 & 16-year old boys) and we were in Eugene for a tournament July 10-14/13. Looking for something different for the team for lunch, I tried Doug's Place. It was excellent! Catered right to us at the side of the field, exactly on time, with enough desserts to last for the whole weekend. The boys loved it and had enough food - huge sandwiches with lots of sandwich meat on fresh bread, sliced watermelon, apples (which weren't a huge hit with the team), yummy chocolate brownies and m&m cookies. They even provided two huge chicken salads for the two gluten-intolerant participants. I would recommend Doug's Place Catering to any sports team looking for an easy & reasonably $ lunch during a tournament. I will definitely order from them again if we are ever at a Eugene tournament in the future.

I'm not typically one who orders from a gas station but Doug's has awesome burgers!!! Simple and made to order...I am a fan! Really good buns too. I can't wait to try a malt! There's just something so charming about this place. Reminds me of a spot in California I would go to with my mom growing up. :)

Better than you'd expect from the outside, this place does fast Asian better than anything you'll get from Panda Express or any other fast food Chinese chain. Huge portions and rich flavors await you. The spicy pork was tender and spicy enough to satisfy my unusually high tolerance for spicy food (more of those Thai chili peppers than I could get through in one sitting), and the teriyaki chicken came with what seemed to be two huge chicken breasts sliced up. The bed of yakisoba noodles was much better than the bed of rice, though. The malted huckleberry shake was out of this world. Do not miss.

This place serves excellent guacamole cheeseburgers! We stopped here after a long ride on the road and was surprised to find this place near I-5. The burger was tasty and delicious! For a small restaurant, I was surprised to find a wide variety of items to choose from. I had a choice of burgers, salads, pasta, sides, appetizers, and even Chinese food. I'll be sure to stop here again on my next trip!

Great burgers and Asian dishes. They used to do BBQ but now are just a burger/stir fry place for the most part. Right next to the freeway in a building that seems to be part of a gas station you get the feeling the place might not be so good but you'd be wrong. The burgers here are great and the Asian food is also very tasty and worth the trip. Take out is quick, the staff is friendly and the milk shakes are good. They also have locally made ice cream. If you're coming down the freeway skip the McDonald's or Wendy's and come here instead, it's a million times better.

These cheeseburgers are to die for, the bun is good (old-fashioned style) and the toppings are always fresh. imo, these are better than Dickie Joe's, Giant Burger, and maybe even Five Guys (I wouldn't have believed it either until I tried Doug's Place, but now I have 5 extra lbs. to lose this fall!) For $1.50 extra you can get a pile of curly fries with the $6 special, and they're cooked perfectly. The menu is surprisingly large, and the milkshakes look amazing. Lots of Umpqua ice cream flavors for shakes and cones. They also do catering. Service has been polite and prompt. Carry-out is relatively fast for cooked-to-order food. The SeQuential station next door is a cool place to hang out and wait if you're bored, or there's a generous amount of booth seating inside Doug's / Chevron. Glad I found this place!

This is my Friday Payday guilty pleasure lunch stop. Don't let the store front put you off too much, and if you eat inside put napkins under your elbows and you'll be alright. Food is hot, fresh, and have great flavors. The standard burger is great, fries are crisp. They also serve some great Asian dishes (not what you would expect) but prepared well and very filling. Check Doug's out.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with the family. Great burgers, milkshakes and also a yummy chicken teriyaki dish! So good!

Never been disappointed. Surprisingly good. Totally unexpected variety of options when you consider they are in a gas station.

Again traveling on business and wanted to grab some lunch before the drive back to Portland. Yelp did me the favor of finding this place. I had a standard; the bacon cheeseburger. What was fantastic - absolutely nothing. What was good - everything. Nice grill toasted bun, cooked to order juicy hamburger patty, fresh crisp lettuce leaf, just the right amount of pickles evenly distributed, just the right amount of sauce....a solid burger. My personal favorite was the crinkle cut fries. They are the Cadillac of fries as far as I'm concerned when cooked to a golden crispy brown as this place does. Good, solid meal at a little independent spot in a gas station! Give 'em a try.

Love this place! Milkshakes, burgers, chicken strips, chicken fajita salad, teriyaki pork and rice, breakfast sandwiches...how can you go wrong? YUMMY

I stumbled upon this little gem one day at lunch time the food is simple and good but what I liked the most was that it has some variety on burgers and its nice to just go and feel like your having a good old fashioned burger fries and a milkshake or malt I believe they could really take off big time if they expanded into a bigger building my favorite burger is the mushroom burger mmmmmmm good!

By far, and I mean by far, the best spicy pork yakisoba in the valley. Excellent ingredients, and custom sauce. I can't figure out how exactly they get their pork done so perfectly every time, but this dish is very very good. And they give you enough for two people. Their burgers are also very good. It's a quirky little place inside a gas station, but the food is very well done and worth a visit.
