AVOID THIS DQ AT ALL COSTS. I have been to this DQ a few times. They always like handing you your ice cream, then having you pull around to the side. This past time I went, I had a problem with the order, went to get my correct order, and the manager Jenn had a good ole time telling me how I was the one wrong (THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT) and made me purchase what should of come with my meal. Then she had an even better time rolling her eyes at me and shrugging her shoulders at me when I said "I know it doesn't matter to you, you aren't the one having to pay for should of come with my meal. While at the restaurant, I sent an email to corporate. They quickly got me in touch with Chris the owner who was no more help. His only comment to me was " I can't believe you are making this big of a deal over toast." I again told him it was about how I was treated, and now I wanted a refund. His response? I won't refund your money over toast. Again, I was under the impression the customer is always right... NOT AT THIS DQ. So go to this location at your own peril. If you are mistreated or unhappy with your food, don't expect ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING to be done about it. The owner of this location is as worthless as his employees and managers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

No joke, we probably stopped here 3 days a week for dessert. My go to's were the Reese's Blizzard and the Vanilla Soft Serve cone. Signup for their fan club and get free ice cream.

Yeah, I know. Who reviews a Dairy Queen, right? I would normally agree, but this DQ has so frequently exceeded my expectations of a quick service dessert shop that I had to say something. I don't go to this DQ that often. In the 2.5 years that I've lived in Eugene I've probably only been there a half dozen times. But every single time is the same experience. Friendly, and super fast. Did I mention fast? I went there tonight, to the drive thru. From when I pulled up, third car in line, to when I was pulling out of the lot with my Blizzards in hand was four minutes. That's crazy. The army of 17 year old girls manning the shop really have it down to a science. No, I'm not even reviewing the food. It's DQ. You've been there before, and you know what it's like. A high sugar, high fat, delicious guilty pleasure. And you've probably been to a bad DQ, one that makes you feel gross for even being there, or whose employees make you feel like you're troubling them in some way. This is not that DQ. You get in and out fast, minimizing the guilt-inducing time you have to spend there. Good stuff.

The best DQ in Eugene. Great service, newly added outdoor seating and a great place to hang out. With its location next to Sheldon High School it can be overrun by young students, but it's still a great spot.

Edit- Got a call from DQ the next morning. Apparently their count was off by about the same amount I was screwed out of the night before. The manager there apologized and resolved the problem reasonably by refunding me the amount, so I'm satisfied. I'm raising the stars from 1 to 3. I signed up for Yelp just now just to review this Dairy Queen. My wife needed to break a 20 in order to pay back a coworker. So we decided a couple blizzards would be a tasty way to do so. Unfortunately, by the time the transaction was finished, we had paid $20.50 for 2 melted blizzards. I think that's just called rain. We made our order and the total was 7.38. My wife handed me a 20 dollar bill and two quarters so we would get enough change back. When the window opened, the girl working handed me one of the blizzards and obviously didn't see the change on top of the bill I handed her because she dropped one of the quarters. Knowing there was a long line behind us, I told her not to worry about 25 cents. the girl handed me the other blizzard, 12 cents in change, and a receipt. Me arguing with my wife about whether I had a dollar at home didn't notice the lack of change and happily started driving off. My wife, being much more of sense than I, asked for the rest of the change before I had driven 10 feet. So I parked and she went in to notify them of the mistake. 5 minutes later, I get a text saying the manager is going to count the till because the girl can't remember what denomination I had given her litterally less than two minutes ago (When my wife had went inside). I came in to make sure everything was alright and we waited another 5 minutes for the manager to come back and tell us that the till was was the button. I argued with the man for another 5 minutes, during which, he back tracked to saying that the till was actually under. When I pointed out that since the till count was not in fact on point then he could not guarantee a mistake wasn't made. Of course this didn't matter and when all was said and done, I was left 20 dollars poorer and with liquid sugar I didn't even want anymore. Basically what I'm saying NO ONE should be comfortable giving their money to an establishment that seems devoid of any basic arithmetic skills. PS, even though I handed the girl only one bill, my receipt said I had given her 7.50, so either someone is stealing money, or telling the different between 1 bill and 3 bills is much harder than anyone has ever been led to believe. PPS. In all fairness, the manager said if the till was over, he would call me. I doubt it will happen, but full disclosure and all that.

So according to the reviews thus place had great food and it is......okay. my biggest issue is the service. The lack of ability to communicate what your order is is very frustrating. When we are accused of not telling them the truth about what we ordered I get very offended. Granted there were 14 of us but that doesn't mean that it should have been that confusing. I won't be back because of how they treated me and my family.

Okay, so I have always had a weakness for Blizzards (Heath, normally and Pumpkin Pie when in season to be exact). I even belong to the DQ Blizzard Club and get things via email. Things like a BOGO Blizzard and free one on my anniversary of being a member. This DQ seems to employ mainly High School kids and by and large they do their best and are friendly. Place is clean and plenty of parking.
