The GF and I had some extra time on a Friday afternoon, and so decided to stop by. We didn't order any food, but what we saw on the menu looked pretty good. Also, while the wine list isn't the largest, it's not too bad, and we had no difficulty finding a nice cote du rhone and rose to drink. As others have mentioned, the prices here are a bit on the high side for what you get (and yes, the wine glass pours aren't all that large), but I've seen worse. The real problem I had with this place occurred when my friend ordered a glass of French rose. We were not familiar with the producer, and so were intrigued. As the bartender poured her a glass of it (with the label pointed away from us), I noticed that on the neck of the bottle, it said Rioja. When I asked the bartender about the wine he was pouring, he sheepishly admitted that the listed rose was out of stock, and that they were therefore pouring the Spanish rose. That's fine, but what's NOT fine is to make that kind of switch without informing the customer in advance. As far as we're concerned, that's a deal killer, and we won't be going back.

The first two times I came here I was really impressed. The halibut was amazing and they have a wine that I haven't found anywhere else, accept for at the winery up north. However, I have a couple of issues with b2. First, they've had live music the last three times I've been in there. While I enjoy live music, the room does not have the acoustics for live music and it ends up overpowering everything, including your conversation with others. I think of a wine bar as being someplace mellow where you can hang out with your friends and have an intimate experience while drinking good wine. However, we end up shouting at each other and by the end of the night my ears hurt and my voice is horse. Another complaint I have is that they've been out of food twice now. One of those times they were out of the fish (halibut and salmon). Also, they claimed to be out of my wine, although there were three bottles visible on the shelf. Either the server was confused, or she couldn't hear me over the music. I want to love this place because it has so much potential, but they need to get their act together. If my future experiences change I'm more than willing to update my review and add stars because I want this place to succeed.

Great kitchen and drinks including a good wine list. I've always had good service here and the people-watching is off the hook. Check it out, you'll be glad

This was my second visit, stopped by for some food and a glass of wine. After trying to order from the entree selections, 3 strikes in a row "sorry we are out, not doing that," whatever. So we switched to the appetizers. Not really a big selection but a sampling of the menu and they could actually make the items we ordered. The Salmon sliders are way good. The bacon wrapped shrimp are really good. The bread and Olive oil plate, well its what they should give you for free don't bother they way over charge for what you get. Like most places now it's cement floor, hard walls, and zero acoustic noise damping, make a quiet experience, dinner, or drink impossible. Similar to dining in a bus station or school cafeteria. No WiFi ... so don't stop in for a glass of wine with that thought in mind. I would say a little spendy, $5 for a glass of the daily special. And they are not generously poored glasses or expencive wines. Buy the wine and enjoy it quietly at home, use the money you save to go to a movie, show or buy her some flowers.

I meet my girlfriends here once a week for a couple glasses of wine and some much needed stress relief. The ambiance is great, Andrew is fabulous and the wine goes down smooth. It's a wonderful wine bar in a great location!

Came in because of good reviews and it claims to be "modern American and French". The atmosphere is atrocious. Outdated country music plays thru poor sound quality speakers in a modern decor wine bar... What were they thinking??? Service is appalling! There is one other customer and we sat waiting on a cheese plate w/o a drink for over 20 minutes. Considering the atmosphere mentioned above one can imagine the tortuous wait. The two stars is based solely on food quality although the menu has very few interesting choices. In summary there are far too many quality places in this area to bother with a mediocre uncomfortable place to eat and drink. If you can tolerate the above mentioned the food is well prepared and presented nicely.

Salmon = Way undercooked Garlic Potatoes = Out with no warning, replaced with shitty bread with no butter. No apology. Water = Not cold and never refilled. Salad = Bitter. Service = Terrible. I will never go there again.

This place is amazing! Hummus platter is the best I've ever had, their homemade chocolate torte is to die for and they have one delicious summer spicy jalapeño margarita! My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we will definitely go back again for another date soon!

We really enjoyed the great food here. Yum! Had the pork chop and it was delicious and it had a great presentation. Hubby and daughter devoured their hamburgers. I gave it 4 stars because they were slow and it seemed they could really benefit from another waitress, BUT we will be back! Our waitress was kind just busy. It seemed like all around us were having a good time. Great place for fun conversation and nice but relaxed atmosphere.

I like the location.I love the wine.I ordered a bottle. The server made sure I loved it before he served it.We order a panini sandwich and a hummus plate-both were great. This is a nice destination for this side of town.

After a hard morning at work, I decided to have Lunch at B2. My friend and I decided to go with a cheese burger. He had fries with it and I had a tomato soup. We both agreed it was one of the best burgers we have had. He loved the fries and the roasted tomatoes soup was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try dinner!

I come here pretty often. Mainly for the atmosphere. Has a nice clean upscale lounge feel. Good music and one TV . They have creative cocktails and a good variety of vino. Bartenders are chill, professional, and friendly. Food is very good.. French dip was great. Ciabatta bun, thick cut slices of roast beef. Fresh spring salad. One of my favorite bars to relax.

For me, this is as good as it gets. The best cream of mushroom soup ever! If I'm going to eat something with cream, I want to taste each molecule of fattening delight! Andrew even let me taste their lobster bisque, pure heaven. I am a Cesar salad fan, and I have tasted many, this is at the top of my list. Creamy, cheesy and rich without being heavy. The decor is super cool, and relaxed at the same time. Definitely worth a short drive to this little sweet spot in Eugene.

Our lunch group has been here several times. We go for lunch, not for wine. We have especially enjoyed that there is no sense of being rushed. The food is good; the portions large enough to share if you wish, or to take some home. They accommodate special requests such as condiment changes, or perhaps a request for a different cheese, etc. Do I recommend B2 to friends? Yes!

I've only been to B2 once so far, but I'll be going back. I do believe their Rueben may actually be better than 440s, which is something I don't say lightly! I asked the friendly if somewhat inattentive waiter where they get their outstanding pastrami, and surprise, surprise! It's Boar's Head! Which you can buy in Eugene at Fred Meyer. I shared part of a tomato pesto sandwich too, which was delicious, so I'll be back!

The Best lobster bisque I have ever had!!!! A great place for lunch with some girlfriends after a spa day at Bello. Great wine, and some limited outside seating. Gets pretty busy on friday/saturdays and is a hard place to go for a full dinner, more of a place to sip wine/ cocktails and order an appetizer with some friends.

Ever want to get out of Eugene and experience a different vibe? Portland perhaps? You're in luck! Just drive to this secluded corner of northern Eugene and step right in to B2. On the way here, you'll most likely be puzzled as to where it is and you'll feel a little lost until you see it. That only contributes to the overall experience as it's truly an experience that is outside of the box. Eugene's box that is. Anyway, the wine selection is pretty solid but has some downfalls in my opinion. I do think it's awesome how they focus so much on local wines, but there is one question I'd like to ask the buyer: How can you have Umpqua Valley wines on your list, but not have anything from either Reustle or Abacela? Henry Estate is ok, Girardet was a nice surprise, but you're REALLY missing the best wines this area has to offer (and it's kind of hard to miss them). Palotai is another place that's worth the stop the next time you're driving by, though they're a bit rougher as wines go. I mean, if you made it to Misty Oaks, there's no excuse for passing these other locations up. Ok, soapbox moment complete. Beyond that, there are some real gems on the wine list. One that really sticks out is La Crema's Chardonnay. This has to be one of the finer Chards out there, and the best part about it is that people who love red wine will love this wine, a LOT. It's almost as if it was a white wine made for red wine drinkers. Overall, this place is great. It's perfect for dates, for pre-dinner drinks (Izumi is right across the street), for post-dinner drinks, or to just relax over some nice wine on any particular evening. They have a lot of glasses to choose from, which is very nice since a lot of wine bars tend to have limited options by the glass. The service is always good and they have informed opinions (usually) on the wines they're selling. It's hard to be happier with a place, especially in Eugene.

I've been a fan of b2 since it opened. A great intimate wine bar with a good wine selection (keep in mind, I"m not an expert) and food menu. b2 uses local and organic food when possible and it shows in their menu. Food prices can be a bit spendy, but worth the splurge. Wine flights are available, which are usually a good deal. b2 is a great place for a date night or ladies night out.

This was the second time I've been to B2 Wine Bar. I had great food and service the first time I went there, but last night was AWFUL. It seemed like they weren't even trying. My partner and I ordered the pesto salmon. Both were UNDERCOOKED. Normally, this entree comes with mashed potatoes. They didn't let us know that they were out of mashed potatoes until we received our meals. They substituted dry bread with no butter for the mashed potatoes. There were also tiny slivers of veggies under the salmon instead of as a side. The service was TERRIBLE. It took them far too long to get us menus, ask us what we wanted, and they never came by to refill our water glasses. I am so disappointed with this restaurant, especially since I had a great meal the first time I went. I doubt I will ever go there again.

I love B2 especially for a glass of wine and appetizers with a freind! The food is good and the wine list is amazing. I love the atmosphere and enjoy their outside seating when Eugene is sunny. The only reason I do not give it five stars is due to the service. When B2 gets too busy there never seems to be enough waitstaff. I also planned a Birthday for a friend there and called a week in advance to reserve a table. When all 10 of us got there they claimed that they don't reserve tables and no one had spoken with me. I guess I must've dreamt the whole conversation! Once B2 works on it's service it will earn five stars in my book.

Best Caesar salad ever. The mac and cheese is so bad, but so good. I've never had a slider as tasty as B2's. Big fan since the year they opened. The only problem is that their higher chairs are collapsing in and it feels like you're sitting in a hole! Would not let that stop you from visiting B2.

Good little spot at the edge of Eugene in the relatively new Crescent Village development. Went here with AP for a dinner and wine. Was really impressive with the dinner. I had the halibut and it was quite good. Especially considering this was a wine bar; it does very well with food. I will definitely come again. The only draw back is that its so far from everything else in Eugene. Im certain that despite whatever amount of business b2 Wine Bar receives now, it could do so much better in a more centralize location in Eugene. However, the place was good nonetheless. I haven't had the opportunity to go here to peruse the wine selection. That will be my purpose on my next trip.

One of my favorite places in Eugene. The atmosphere is a ton of fun and the food is amazing. The wine is fabulous and their happy hour specials are extremely reasonable! The spinach salad is HUGE and delicious for only $4. The bread plate and chicken panini are great too. Best thing though is the lobster bisque! SOOO good. The wait staff is quite frankly the best I have seen in Eugene. They are all so friendly and just seem to LIKE their jobs, which is hard to find these days! A MUST!!

Has been my go to place for about a year now. Their wine is amazing and their staff is so friendly. For a wine bar, they have excellent food. My favorite is their chicken panini but have had salads and soups and it is all wonderful. Easy to get into during lunchtime during the weekday but I heard that it gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Sign up on their email list and they will inform you of all of the fun things they have going on for the month including brunch (rarely get to go since I am a mom). They are friendly to my kids and during the summer, we grab some pizza next door and sit outside and get cheese and wine for mom. Everybody leaves happy. Plan on coming here after a relaxing day at Bello or meeting up for drinks before heading over to Izumi's. Have done both of these and just completes my day.
