The food wasn't great. The pork was extra fatty tonight. I used to go here all the time when I was younger and the food was much better.

Haters gonna hate. I loved it when this place was actually in Sandy. It was a regular go to for Chinese when living with my parents in Sandy. After moving to Portland and making visits to see them they made Wongs King a take out treat. The relocation to Estacada doesn't make much sense but it seems to be the same quality. I love the combination dinners, family style, Mongolian beef, Singapore rice noodles, the egg rolls OMG the egg rolls and honestly everything is delicious. I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Good Chinese at a reasonable price and quality is so widely lacking in this state and even in the city of Portland. I really don't understand why either. Anyways, if you are in Estacada, Boring or Sandy take a pretty drive and try some decent Chinese. I miss it and often have craving.

We came here on a time when it was understaffed. Your typical fried Chinese restaurant. Food was not spectacular. Tea came out cold. The hot and sour soup was good. If you are in the mood for a typical fried Chinese meal, this is the spot for you

The food at this place was so bad that it was almost comical. Maybe it was our fault for having a bit of an expectation due to their association with Wong's in Portland? Wong's should be ashamed of the condition of this restaurant and should serve the same quality food to the people of Estacada!

I'd have to say that the food quality keeps going down, while the prices keep going up. The staff were always quite friendly when we would pick up an order to go, but the food has been making a steady dive into food hell for several years now, and we've stopped going. The mandarin chicken had always been a go-to staple in my family, as well as the sweet and sour chicken, and honey glazed chicken. Anymore, though, you get more breading than chicken, and more sauce than actual food. That being said, their chicken lo mein and pan fried noodles are delicious. The containers of those are like the Mary Poppins bag of food containers, it's a never ending supply of noodle.

Took the kids here for dinner. The server was real nice and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner. Split some combo meals everyone had more than enough. I don't recommend getting the steamed veggies off the kids menu. I made a bad choice doing that. I pictured something else in my mind when I did that. And yeah it's not for the kiddos in my opinion.

We had business in Estacada during lunch hours and saw Wongs King. I am familiar with their Portland location with their fun daily dim sum that I have enjoyed. Let me just say they put all of their energy into the Portland location. If you dare to try it tell me something. Is that mold on the ceiling tiles? Unfortunately I didnt look up until we were half done with our food (I was looking for the source of where the annoying and loud music was coming from) but it looks like they had a leaky roof problem, fixed it then left all the damages to just mold out on top of their customers. It is probably why they leave peeling, dirty wallpaper on the walls. So enough with the decor. The food. The tea wasnt good. Fried shrimp. It was edible but overcooked. Egg flour soup. Nothing in it just a gelatinous texture with a wisp of egg white. The egg roll was pretty good, the almond sub gum chow mein was so salty I ate 2 bites. Rice was salty yet boring, nothing in it and the almond fried chicken didnt taste like chinese food. More like grandmas cooking if your grandma had an over salting problem. If the unenthusiastic server would have ever come back to see how we liked everything I may have been able to ask for spices to spice it up but she didnt. She hid in the back the whole time. My husband liked his generals chicken but it wasnt authentic generals chicken. The best thing about the meal was the fresh fortune cookies. The worst thing about it was how it made me feel for two days. They O.D.'d me on MSG. I was like a sick dry sponge for two days. Never again.

This offshoot of the famous Wong's King restaurant in Portland is decidedly more Americanized than its dim sum and seafood-centric parent. Standard Chinese restaurant decor notwithstanding, it does offer a variety of "Chef's Specialties" dishes that differ from the standard prepackaged Chinese food fare. For example, their Vietnamese stir fry with vegetables, prawns and chicken is spicy and unique. The pepper black chicken is also a dish that doesn't hold back on flavor. If you want the standard deep fried Chinese platters, they have several combinations of those as well, all for around ten dollars. The wait staff is comprised of teenagers, and the service reflects accordingly. In addition, most of their dishes are on the fatty side. Their food is more interesting than most Chinese restaurants however, and you'd be pressed to do better out in the sticks.

This location does NOT have dim sum. It is handy, staff is great but the food is marginal. It is American Chinese food. Closes at 8 so I don't use this location even tho I am very close.

I grew up going to this restaurant and remembered it being so good. I moved to Portland and didn't try it again until recently. It was utter disappointment! The BBQ pork was unusually grey. It looked rotten. Everything we ordered seemed to come straight out of the microwave and tasted below average. The server didn't come check on us at all so we were without drinks most of our visit and had to flag her down to get the check. I will not be recommending this restaurant!
